Visting my daughter I am from Puerto Rico went to the Planet Fitness in Norwalk CT the staff was very pleasant answer my questions plus this Planet Fitness has a little bit of everything. All the machines are up-to-date so there was two machines that I didn’t know how to use I ask and they taught me also Jocelyn was great help very pleasant young lady always have a smile and not to mention the playlist was out of this world was good. It was a pleasure working out there plus this place got lying Tan beds it’s Cohen Connecticut so I need it to warm up my bones again thank you Planet Fitness and Norwalk very good staff plus I met a trainer there name Wes, which was very pleasant. The place is clean. The people that are in this gym very pleasant.

I’ve been a loyal member for years, originally at the Stanford location. While that Stamford location was closed for renovations, I started going to the Norwalk location. Nobody notified me that the Stanford location had reopened, so I drove to Norwalk as usual.

They let me in without any issue, and I started my workout. Then, right in the middle of it, the staff came over, interrupted me, and told me I had to leave because Stamford location opened up, and I was not allowed to be there anymore, I explained that I didn’t know the Stanford location was open, no one notify me, and asked if I could just finish my workout, but they refused and kept repeating the same “those are the rules” line.

It was an incredibly unprofessional and frustrating experience. It’s disappointing that in 2025, even as a paying, long-term loyal member, you can still be treated like a piece of garbage. Totally unacceptable.

Nice, glad to have a close spot while they work on Stamford. This place welcomed me with open arms especially Anthony the assistant general manager. This is your guy. Don't bother him too much, he is a busy man. However if you need to get something done, he's the go to. Just look for the young guy being productive. Good looks Anthony, you provided a weird dude with a new gym to feel safe in.

I want to tell you a little story, I've been going to Planet Fitness for about two years now, I've always worked out in slippers, it's more comfortable and easier for me personally, I've also seen videos of people working out the same way, everything has always been fine, no one has ever said anything about bans and so on, today I came in this morning and started working out, during the workout I went to get a drink,and the guy with the noodles on his head started bugging me about sneakers and so on, I told him I didn't have any with me, would it be a problem to bring some on the next day, and now to finish the workout, to which he said no, go away, go away, you can't be on the training floor in slippers, my friend had crocs, with a closed toe as written in their rules,but still it didn't fit and they and another guy who wasn't so smart started to argue and didn't get in touch because we were customers, and we didn't refuse their rules, just asked to finish and take the next one, I'm not going to go home in the middle of a workout to get shoes to finish, they were rude, boorish, smiling, I told them to cancel my subscription and they said OK,people who work for you don't think about customers, I won't say all of them, but this morning's shift is not, everyone else is friendly, but I want you to take a closer look at the staff who just lose customers, who are not customer-oriented, they just don't care, they work for a meager wage and don't think about how to improve, they think about how fast the hours would pass and how fast they would leave.

That's it, no drama No drama, just not pleasant that there are such employees, Evaluation zero, employees -10.

I joined here recently after looking into the gyms in my area. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted. The vibe here was the best of the other gyms I visited. A good mix of people. The entire gym is clean, and the staff have all been friendly and helpful.

Great if its not too busy. Equipment breaks down and takes a very long time to put back into service. Bathrooms need more frequent cleaning. Have reached out to staff many times for both issues but they say they dont control how long it takes to repair equipment and they stil l dont clean or refill toilet paper to keep up with the usage.

I only really go to this gym at really late/early hours 11PM-2AM, but the gym is always great. Regardless of how busy it is, the temperature and humidity inside is always comfortable, the music played is loud enough you don’t need your own headphones, but not so loud it clashes if you do use your own. Everything feels clean. I’m not sure of the employee, but there’s typically always one guy there at the hours I go, he’s super nice and very helpful. Overall this will be my go to planet fitness as long as I’m Stamford.

It’s clean but overcrowded. I go at off-peak times (late morning/early afternoon) and it’s uncomfortably packed. I can’t imagine how it is early evening. Unless I want to work out at like 2am, I drive half an hour to another Planet Fitness where there’s actually space to put a mat down and available machines

The gym is always kept clean and finally getting there by adding a couple of good well needed machines. I have been a member for over 10 years and have seen many changes taking place, and I was holding on coming here to leave feedback. The usual complaint in the past was that staff wasn't greeting people and ignoring customers at the front desk. That has been changing over time and it's obvious that staff is making an effort on that previous issue. Aside from being affordable, having complete equipment (for almost everyone), the extra star is because of the hard work of the manager at the Norwalk, Connecticut Ave. branch. She is always making sure that the place is clean, keeping an eye on the gym's volume, and being attentive at the desk if she isn't busy taking care of the gym. Awesome job for sure. I know that getting five star reviews has been a struggle but it's trully well deserved at this point.

Front desk staff to be desired. If they don't like the job they have move on. When a guest informs you that the paper towels holder is empty try to act like your care in the least.
PF spend a little money fixing paper towels holders. Members want to wipe down equipment. But when the sprayers don't work and the paper towels are empty. Come on. Be like your other locations. I visit 3 different ones. The others are so much better.

Unfortunately, they don't care about the users of the space, they don't meet the demands, because they don't offer enough good machines for everyone, they take a long time to repair the machines, up to 8 machines stay damaged for more than 3 weeks, leaving us waiting for someone to release the machine, This means we waste time and energy. That's why we ask for the club's competence to expedite repairs as quickly as possible.

HEALTH AND SECURITY CONCERNS
If you are looking to join a decent and a professional fitness club do your homework, the main issues is having a front desk that at times has no one there please iock your valubles, another hot issue is hand sanitizers are not filled, in regards to the sanitation the odor and smell in the mens change room is putrid no air flow, to be on the fair side staff is friendly and the location is convenient.

This Location is very convenient for me, the staff (with a few exceptions) generally don’t pay any attention to folks coming in or out just heads down on their phone or talking to each other. I don’t really mind that at all seeing as I’m just coming in to work out. But PLEASE PLEASE can management make regular locker rooms checks, the shower curtains in the mens room are COATED in mold always. Now I love Fungal Biology as much as anyone but not when I have to shower next to it. I would rather not post photos of it here to turn more people off of this place but it never seems to get cleaned so I’m not sure what else to do. It’s disgusting.

Staff is always on their phones, maybe only two of them acknowledge you when you come in or leave. The gym is supposed to be open at 7am on the weekends, but they are often late and will open past 7:30 or 8. This is extremely unprofessional and frustrating. Hire new people if they cannot be responsible.

Signed up with "premium membership" under the guise that I'd be getting free training with a trainer only to find out that this location among many others don't have a trainer, yet have class schedules up so people can sign up & take classes. The staff there doesn't have any customer service skills. I walk in and there's 3 or 4 girls just talking at the front desk and no one acknowledged me. One of the girls finally asked if I needed help. There was a girl with glasses and uneven ponytails that kept staring at me as if she wanted to do something. I gave the girl that helped me my phone number and here comes the other girl with the uneven ponytails asking me to repeat it slowly with an attitude. If the lady that's helping me didn't ask, I didn't understand what her problem was. I didn't appreciate that at all, and to top it off she stared at me as I was leaving as if she was going to do something. I don't know what type of tactic she was trying to use but that was not professional at all. I mean the machines are already mediocre plus bad customer service, I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone!

I LOVE this planet fitness. I was always a bougie gym girl and went to F45 or LA Fitness but since this gym was brand new and affordable I decided to give it a shot. The benefit of the membership and the black lounge they have is super nice. I love all the amenities. After reading some reviews I found it pertinent to say that I have NEVER had an issue with staff. They always say hello to me when I walk in and bye when I leave and that is it. One time one of the floor workers even readied a paper towel for me with cleaner which was nice and completely unnecessary. I come back at least 5 times a week. I go at either 6:30am or 4:00pm and the crowds are usually smaller around those times. I would definitely recommend for a clean and affordable gym!

I've been going to this PF since October of last year and have had a great experience at the gym. The staff are super friendly and made it easy for me to sign up for a black card membership. The locker room and the gym floor are kept nice and clean. The gym is somewhat small however. During peak hours (usually anywhere from 6-9), I find myself having to etiher wait for machines to open up or for dumbbells of the weight I need to be put back, because there are just so many people and not enough options. Also, I wish there were another dumbbell rack that went up in ~2 lb increments. 5 lbs can be too much.

I had a problem with my payment. I don’t know why and nobody there could tell me either, but sometimes my AUTOMATIC payment doesn’t work and they charge me later, so I have to pay an extra fee even if it was not my fault, I called them and the woman who answered was rude and said my bank account did not have money when it happened, I said there was enough money there. So she said she couldn’t do anything about it and I have to pay a fee every month because my bank account has a problem. I asked several times what problem is this, but they don’t know.
