Primal Path has been a huge part of my family’s life for the past 9+ years! I used to come to gym with a huge knee brace and modify everything! Andrew got me out of my brace, and I have never looked back ! I still modify my workouts when it involves my knee but I am stronger now than I have ever been! My three kids have and still are coached my Andrew and Nadine. It’s honestly more like family!!

Coach Andrew Petrulis at Primal Path has been a life saver! I have had low back, hip, and glute pain since injuring myself on a volunteer trip in 2018. I was afraid to do anything due to pain, yet doing nothing hurt too. Physical therapy addressed only one part of my body at a time, but I hurt in more than one place all the time. With his extensive knowledge of muscles and movement, Andrew modified exercises to help me regain strength in the injured muscles, while increasing strength in the rest of my body. I have also had 2 hip replacements and lumbar fusion since that time. Andrew’s personalized approach to training, focusing on me as a whole person, is precisely what my body – and mind – needed. Its been Andrew, not physical therapy or doctors, who helped me recover each time. I absolutely recommend Primal Path to anyone and everyone.

Today specifically was circuit endurance training. Those days are always a lot of fun, lots of variation and solid cardio which is hard to get in the Connecticut winter. Highly recommend working with Andrew and Primal in general.

I am beginning my 7th year as a member of this gym and I'm happily continuing for many more! This is the longest I've ever lasted doing the same thing - but at this gym we don't ever do the same thing, which is one of things that I love about it and keeps me interested, challenged and coming back. ALL of the coaches are well-trained and are happy to share their vast knowledge and experience to improve members strength and fitness. Classes are fun, laid back and I always learn something new - it's a great way to start (or finish) your day!

I was a member of Primal Path for a few years before life took me out of Connecticut and loved the gym and the coaches. So in 2021 Nadine became my personal trainer and I have been with her since! It has worked out great with her programming my workouts via an app. The app allows her to post videos so I can be sure I understand the movement and I can upload videos as well so she can check my form. She provides feedback on my progress as well as my form. She is a true professional and knows her stuff for workouts and nutrition. Even though I truly miss Primal Path I love the programming Nadine does specially for me and being able to workout at home or anywhere - she adjusts for travel and for limited equipment when necessary. Highly recommend her for personal training and nutrition coaching!

I have trained hard for years, and would always hit a plateau. I wish I had known Andrew at my peak for I have no doubt I would have doubled my results. I feel my body and mind are prepared to take on anything as a result of Andrew's program. His routines are creative, never boring, and there's purpose with every movement. Your age, and/or level of fitness don't matter. He brings a unique approach to personal training that you will not find anywhere.

Started working with Andrew almost a year ago. Best thing I could have done for myself to improve my flexibility, strength, and movement lessons I use every day. Fantastic coach! Andrew fixed my lower back and hip issues I’ve had for years and reduced my right shoulder impingement to almost nothing! Andrew works on your specific needs, not a rote program. I’m 70 yrs old, haven’t felt or looked this good in many years!

I have been a part of primal path for about 3 months and WOW what a great experience. I am typically not a fan of group classes but coaches Andrew and Nadine are so welcoming and knowledgeable about movement, strength training, and keeping your body healthy; I am completely sold! Primal path works with all ages and abilities - if you think you can't join because of an injury or you are out of shape, you are wrong - Andrew and Nadine offer 1/1 assistance within the group setting to give you options that will work for you - something I have never seen at any gym, let alone in a group setting. It is a professional setting yet warm and inviting...you won't regret giving this place a chance...it really is a gem.

I have belonged to several crossfit style gyms and this one is the best fit for me. There is a real focus on developing and maintaining health and physical fitness. The programming is well thought out and is customizable to any level of fitness.
The coaches stress the mind muscle connection in building and improving mobility, strength, endurance, and flexibility.

Dropped in to Primal Path with a buddy to tackle Murph, and very glad I did. In addition to being a great instructor, Andrew added a personal touch by sharing his story as a veteran and what the workout meant to him. The workout was tough, but Andrew's motivation helped me power through. It also helped that his gym is really well maintained with a great assortment of equipment. If I lived in the area I would be here everyday!

This was the BEST decision ever to join this gym - it's more than a gym to me. Absolutely professional, experienced, caring, helpful, dynamic, fun coaching team. They program variety which keeps things fun, keeps us learning, and growing. Workout format includes warmups, mobility, strength training, and a workout of the day. Lots of emphasis on feeling the movement, learning form and technique (before adding weight), scaling and modifying workouts to YOU - your fitness level as a journey, and also factoring in your soreness, your injuries, your goals etc). AND focus on mindset, which is equally important, coaches bring a LOT to the table here on their experiences, approaches and challenges they've faced in fitness and life. Plenty of individual attention and comfortable class sizes. Safety is #1, they've been amazing during COVID with super attention to cleaning and distancing protocols! I've never felt intimidated or pushed to do something I'm not comfortable with. Also I've taken advantage of personal training, which has been a game changer and a great way to focus on developing skills from class. And nutrition support offering experienced tips and coaching as well as a built in accountability partner! And this is an amazing community - we support eachother, have fun events (elementary school-style field day is coming up!), and generally enjoy the banter and dog visits/stories! I cannot say enough about this gym, join us!!

Andrew is a phenomenal coach and exhibits a level of care and passion, unmatched by any other CF “box” I’ve visited. I am former military and I’ve traveled around and frequented a lot of gyms. This place left an impression! I will absolutely find my way back there! Andrew’s personality, and style -was welcoming, highly educational, and safe! I am big on safety because I’ve had experiences at other gyms where the coaches push people to levels of declining safety that make me cringe. His programming made sense and his knowledge of biology was evident in the way he adapted the workout to meet my needs and abilities. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely revisit CF High Order. Thanks Andrew!

I came into CrossFit High Order after recovering from 2 severe injuries. I’m very pleased to say that since than, I have been able to train hard, and I have been shown proper techniques to address the issues I had from said injuries, as well as issues of compensation, and imbalances. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and the community of members welcome new members into the fold with ease.

This by far the BEST gym I have ever been to. Andrew and his coaches are a wealth of knowledge and go out of their way to ensure all clients have proper form during all workouts. They always offer modifications so no matter what your fitness level is every workout is successful for everyone. The atmosphere is supportive and inviting. If there were 6 stars ⭐️ I would give that ! This CrossFit is like no other . 8 to 80 years old the staff will find a way to work with you . My family has enjoyed immensely the Coaches and the fellowship of the members . I have been working though an injury and Andrew and all of his staff could not be more accommodating.
There is far more emphasis at this gym on technique vs just moving a bunch of weight!

Great gym! I can’t say enough about the well trained, professional staff. The coaches adapted each workout for me so I could exercise with the classes till I was 39 weeks pregnant and hop right back in post baby!
