Incredible workout! Bet is super welcoming and gives clear, concise direction. You can tell how much she loves what she does and it makes the class feel fun. I left feeling amazing and like I really worked my whole body. Will be back soon!

After hearing a friend share about her love for Pulse Barre, I very randomly decided to give it a shot. I had never attended guided group workouts before (with the exception of growing up in dance classes) but I felt a random spark and decided since it was close to home that I should check it out. I let my friends know I was going to a class and asked if they would join me.

Our first class was EPIC! I just completed my introduction week and I can’t wait for more!! I was unexpectedly surprised to find the classes are exactly what I didn’t even know I was searching for. Working out in a group gives you that extra little push - and it’s super fun!! After just a week I can already feel my body thanking me. I feel stronger and I feel excited because it’s cracking open my love for movement in a new way.

I nibbled on a bit of everything and I can say that all the instructors are so unique, and every class offers something different. My favorite classes were my first class with Bet, my second class with Tasha and a Yogalates with Susan. I’m inspired and excited to make Pulse Barre a new part of my practice.

Katie’s barre class was fantastic! She kept us moving the entire time with a great mix of exercises that kept my attention and made the workout fly by. I especially loved the side-lying leg lift split combo—it was challenging but felt so effective. Katie’s clear cues and encouragement throughout the class made it easy to follow along, even virtually. I felt energized and accomplished afterward. Highly recommend her class to anyone looking for a dynamic and engaging barre experience!

Amazing place! I highly recommend for all ages & fitness levels. Extremely welcoming environment & the teachers are very encouraging. They will help you with any accommodations needed. Great schedules & variety of classes. I enjoy going regularly and am about 8 months pregnant & they are so sweet and offer me alternatives to accommodate my growing belly. My teenage daughter loves going as well. It is a great environment all around.

I have said this before and I will say it again…Bet is amazing!!! She is strong, knowledgeable, and entertaining, while also being supportive and nurturing of all ability levels. This class is so unique because teenagers through the older adult population can attend this class, and Bet will modify it as needed for anyone. She always considers peoples’ unique needs, as with Injuries or fitness goals and will help you personally if needed. She has several teachers who teach other amazing classes. I highly recommend this studio for all levels!

Pulse Barre is the BEST fitness studio in the Farmington Valley and I've been to a lot over the years. Bet has put together a jam-packed schedule of great classes with great instructors. Her energy permeates her classes, which are always challenging and fun. She cares about members to the point of knowing individual issues and needs, and providing the right modifications to address them in class. Last but not least, the atmosphere at PB is always welcoming and warm. Bet has a cheerful hi & kind word for all who enter the studio and it makes such a difference!

I've been taking Bet's barre classes for years. These classes are the very best workout I've ever had in my entire life. The music is terrific and ever changing, as are the workouts. They fly by, no matter which class you take, because they are fun, but hard! They can be done in studio or virtually, which is great if you travel or you don't want to leave your house! The VERY best thing about these classes......the fact that you can be 20 years old or 75 years young and still take them. Every single movement is entirely modifiable to whatever level exercise you are comfortable with. Bet shows modifications for every movement. I've met such wonderful people in class and a more supportive environ I've not seen. HIT barre, express barre, power hour, vinyasa yoga, gentle yoga, yogalates classes are also available. The studio is new, big, clean and bright. The monthly unlimited package cannot be beat for value. I cannot recommend Pulse Barre enough.

I’ve been going for about a month and I love everything about this place. Already, I’ve gotten fitter, stronger and healthier. The classes are amazing and I love Bet (the owner and the instructor of most of the classes). She knows how to light up the room and make the hardest exercises feel enjoyable. Whether it is a barre or yoga class Pulse is so good. The teachers are great and welcoming, the space is big, open and clean and their classes can fit almost any schedule. Bet is awesome! She has so much energy, such a positive personality and really helps me start my day out better. The Barre and Yogalates classes are challenging for me, but have helped get rid of my shoulder pain, feel less achy and does not have a negative impact on my bad knee (which has no cartilage left) bc it is strength training so mostly low impact. I have been coming for a year and still enjoy it.

This is the best barre class ever!! Bet makes every class enjoyable. She always lets you work at your own pace and gives modifications to each exercise so everyone benefits from the class. I suffer from autoimmune disease and this class has helped keep me in shape and strengthen my joints. Even though I do other workouts, i.e. weight lifting, running, I noticed attending barre classes has significantly improved the shape of my body by toning up all of my muscles.
