35 Strong Challenge!
I just completed the 35 Strong Challenge at in Cheshire and I couldn't be happier with the results! Over the past 35 days, I’ve not only lost weight but gained muscle, and I feel healthier and stronger.
From day one, the support from the trainers and the encouraging environment made it easy to stay motivated. The workouts were challenging yet achievable, and the community aspect really pushed me to do my best every single day. I appreciated the variety of exercises that kept things fresh and exciting!
I want to give a huge thank you to Norvell and Patrick for their guidance and encouragement throughout this journey. You both truly care about each member's success, and it shows!
If you're thinking about joining or participating in a challenge, I wholeheartedly recommend it. This experience has changed my life, and I can't wait to see where this fitness journey takes me next! 💪

This is my 3rd Challange, every year I learn more about myself, weight loss and strength. I just finished another the R3 5 week metabolic challenge and couldn’t be happier. I lost 13.7 lbs! I have stepped up my game by attending classes. I am now eating much healthier. This challenge taught me a great deal. I highly recommend it for any one that has plateaued and would like to lose weight. Nutrition and exercise go hand in hand. Thank you R3 for this amazing experience! I now have a new higher standard in life!

I joined in August to lose weight from an ongoing battle with cancer. R3 has superior staff unlike any other place I have ever been. They have classes that fit everyone and the trainers are all easily engaged, helpful and motivating. I recently took part in a metabolic challenge that was ran by Patrick. I lost over 13 pounds in under 5 weeks and most importantly I learned so much about nutrition and how it affects me. This is a top notch place with lots to teach. Don’t miss out!!!

Glad I found R3. I have been struggling to get healthy for 4 years. I needed accountability, motivation and structure. Found it all here! R3 team is amazing and Joey has been awesome. I was having issues with my knees and not out of breath by the time I hit the top step (and ready for a nap), aging poorly. Now I run up the stairs. I’ve gained strength and losing weight every week. The metabolic challenge is really helping me out as well. Can’t say enough good things.

I decided to give R3 a try back in 2018 and started with the 3 week trial. Nick (who is now at the Branford location) was amazing and the rest is history, I never looked back. I’ve been a member for almost 4 years now and would highly recommend R3 to anyone. I’ve made major gains and got some pretty awesome fitness goals along the way even after having 2 children. The trainers are personable, knowledgeable and make working out fun!

I have enjoyed R3 Fitness semi-private sessions. I have been going for 8 years. I recently did their Lean Down Challenge. I learned a lot about nutrition and ways to eat healthy without sacrificing eating good food. I will take all the information and recipes that I have learned and use them going forward. My husband and I have been attending R3 for 9 months. We decided to start with a 3 week program and at the end of that we knew we were getting stronger and decided to continue. Now 9 months later we continue to be surprised at the things we can do that we couldn’t do a few short months ago. We now realize how weak we were before. The personal training pushes us to do more and the classes allow us to maintain our strength and balance.

R3 has been a great experience for me - working out is fun again! All of the trainers I have worked with have been excellent and they really take the time to understand you, your body and your goals while also continually challenging you to push your limits. It starts with the convenient location, and gets better from there. The coaches are supportive and motivational, the workouts appropriately intense, and the other clients are more like teammates. AND the support and community and service provided during this crisis has been beyond expectations. They have pivoted to livestream workouts and designed individualized plans based on whatever equipment you have at home. 5 stars isn't enough. Update for 2021: still a great place with great coaches, supportive members, and an excellent facility.

I’m 64 and hadn’t worked out in many years. Was very nervous but in a couple of weeks I was feeling like a new person. Now 5 weeks later, I feel stronger and healthier than I have in 20 years. So grateful to R3 fitness and especially Brian my coach who kept encouraging and motivating me! Highly recommend R3 Fitness to anyone interested in making a positive change in their life!!

As a self-proclaimed exercise-phobe, I have spent the better part of my adult life avoiding gyms. Then I saw an advertisement for a 2 week trial at R3 and my guilt got the better of me so I decided to try it. That was almost 6 months ago, and now I go religiously 2-3 days a week, and what’s more, I enjoy it. The coaches at R3 are amazing and the work-outs are intense, but perfectly suited to each individual. They also switch them up so that you don’t get bored with your program. I can’t recommend R3 enough- training there has changed my life. I’m happier, healthier and fit.

Get ready for a long one, but it should be worth the read if you are considering joining R3...Throughout my life, I have tried several workout routines on my own that would produce nominal results and I would eventually plateau. I found them boring, not motivating, repetitive, and they left me with a general distaste for exercise. I always balked at joining a gym; I was self conscious and didn’t like to be seen working out by others. A few years ago, after being completely fed up with how I looked and felt, I decided to try fitness coaching. I interviewed a few places and decided on R3 based on the flexibility of their program and the reasonableness of their pricing. After about nine months of hard work with Coach Tyler, I knew it was a game changer. I saw results I had never seen before in my entire life, and it just kept getting better. I felt stronger, fit and confident. I never plateaued. I never got bored. This was a new life for me. I was on a fitness roll for about two years. Then Covid came, and the gym closed. This is when I truly realized what a positive impact R3 had become in my life. The coaches immediately went into action creating a Facebook page for members with tips, updates, live workouts and recorded workouts. They gave us access to an app with personalized workouts that were updated monthly and based on the equipment we had in our house. I worked out diligently for these last few months and continued to get the support of my coach as needed. I was truly tested; it felt reminiscent of life pre-R3 working out alone and not pushing myself to the next level. But I kept going, knowing that I had created a lifestyle for myself that I did not want to give up on. While the results at home have been about 60% of what I would have seen if I were working with my coach at the gym this whole time, it only reaffirmed to me the importance of being part of the R3 family and being physically there. Some things are simply just better when you have the right people supporting you. R3 will do that for you, and you won’t look back.

I am taking the time today to write a review of R3 Fitness in Cheshire simply to let everyone know just how amazing the coaches and programs are. I have been working out with R3 for over 2 years now and the coaches, the custom programs, as well as the community of members has had such a positive impact that I can't help but tell others. I have gained a love of working out and keeping active as well as more confidence and an appreciation for a healthier lifestyle. Not only are the custom programs and classes second to none; but, the other members have created a community in which we are made to feel welcomed and we are truly rooting for one another. Recently with COVID 19 the coaches have gone above and beyond by writing custom programs and providing live classes so that we can continue our fitness journey even in the face of this awful pandemic. R3 was there for it's community before and that will continue after I have no doubt. I am so excited to be able to get back with the trainers and continue on my path that was set before COVID 19.

I am 57 female with arthritis in hip and knees and shoulder injury. I was skeptical at first, because I thought I knew everything. I have done it all and have been active my whole life. R3 is the real deal. I joined for the initial 21 day challenge last July and loved it. I have been a member since. I cannot believe how much my body has transformed. They are top notch and very professional. They worked with my injuries and NEVER made me feel inadequate.
Ryan is my coach. AWESOME! Explains everything and pushes me to my personal bests. Ty, love you too! You guys work well together and make an excellent team ❤ I have never, in all the years that I have been "exercising" experienced something this effective. Thank you

I have been with R3 Fitness for 4 -5 years now. The classes are great and they offer multiple levels of difficulty. All workouts can be modified to your abilities. I never missed a session even after broken ribs. For three months, Karen just modified the workouts to accommodate my limitations. Love all of the trainers at the Cheshire locations :)

I LOVE THIS GYM!! Nick is my personal trainer and he's great, always encouraging me and pushing me to my limits. I was working out by myself previously and not seeing any results, and was so frustrated. I started at R3 fitness and realized I didn't have good form and was not focusing on my weaker areas! I really enjoy my sessions and the group classes, and mind you I used to hate to work out... hate it! Now I look forward to it every week!! Bill is funny and a great group class leader, very conscious of your movements and form and helpful if you're struggling!! I'd recommend R3 to anyone and everyone! It's worth the investment for the improvements that you'll see physically and mentally.

I have been doing R3Fitness for about 6 months now. The staff and trainers are very friendly and helpful. I have shoulder issues, so the plan that they made for me accommodates those restricted movements that may cause problems for my shoulders. Been involved in the fitness industry for many years now, quite simply the people at R3 "get it". When you walk into the doors you know that you'll be getting the best fitness advice/guidance possible. I'm in my mid 30's now so I needed to switch up my routine and tweak my workouts instead of doing what I've been doing for years. The staff at R3 set me up with a program which has essentially turned back the clock for me. I never thought I'd be able to transform my body and mind into what it is now.

I've been with R3 for almost four years. The trainers are very knowledgeable and motivating. At age 66, I'm stronger than I was at 50. I've lost 25 lbs, my knees don't hurt, my balance is better, my blood pressure is lower. What's not to like? I have energy to keep
up with my toddler grandson, and strength and balance as I age. And it's fun! The trainers create an enjoyable atmosphere and the other clients are friendly. I was very wary of joining a gym program. Now I can't imagine my life without it.

I was seeking a extension of Physical conditioning after getting Physical Therapy for my back. I sat down with Brian @ R3 & reviewed my situation. He suggested a trial 30 day workout with one his personal trainers Nick. It worked out great. I then signed up for a more extensive program. I have lost weight & gained core strength all I could ask for & more.
