Serving Fairfield County since 2007, our expert trainers help you achieve a healthy, fit and happer lifestyle in a private, supportive gym environment. Our philosophy is to help people reach their goals, and to "move your boundaries". Sherpa is holistic in its approach in engaging clients in that journey.

Sherpa has been a place for me to go to when I’m in Westport, CT for work. Jean and the trainers have always accommodated my schedule and have been leaders for cycling in that community. I bring my bike and rely on Jean to show me the routes and groups to sync up with. It’s a clean and fun training environment that’s connected to activity outside of the gym. I love it. Plus. Having a Dexa scan on site allows me to track my weight loss goals accurately.

I have been working with Aiden at Sherpa for several months, and just started working with Justin, one of the cycling coaches. Nothing but good things to say about both, and about Sherpa in general. Great facilities, flexible hours and approach, and a level of knowledge I have never encountered before: Aiden is both a trainer and possibly the best "unofficial" physical therapist I have every come across. Great outfit, recommend without reservation.

To call Sherpa merely a “gym” would be a tremendous understatement. Sherpa is a lifestyle, a door to endless possibilities and, above all else, a truly unparalleled community. What Sherpa offers to its clients simply can’t be found anywhere else. The trainers at Sherpa are extremely knowledgeable and professional (even providing me routines during my days off or stretches to cool down after an athletic competition), yet simultaneously down to earth and more than happy to meet clients where they are in their fitness journey. It’s rare that one can grow both as an athlete and a person, but that’s exactly what I’ve found. Sherpa excels in two very important ways. First, the facility, staff and training programs are top-notch. Training at Sherpa has taken me from a very casual "cyclist" to a much, much better rider. Not only do clients get stronger in Computrainer classes, but Lucas Fortini helps everyone to be smarter, safer, more efficient, more confident and, ultimately, better bike riders on the road. Lucas has also been miraculous in keeping my bike functioning and solving problems like replacing broken derailleurs that are no longer manufactured.
But beyond the excellent training and services, Sherpa stands out for the sense of community it offers to each and every client. No matter your goal, Jean, Lucas, Milly, Brett and all of the trainers are incredibly supportive and interested in helping you. Everyone feels equally welcomed at Sherpa and that, I think, is a really remarkable accomplishment.

I have been working out with the Sherpa team for over a year now and I have noticeably improved my fitness and race results during that time frame. I could always train well on my own (or so I thought), but the Sherpa guys (Jean, Luke and Brett) help to provide a structure focused on my goals and that little bit of extra motivation to push yourself beyond your comfort level to the point where you start to see real improvement. They also establish a good camaraderie during group workouts which makes long workouts that much more interesting and fun. I highly recommend Sherpa Fit.

Sherpa is not a gym, it is a life-changing experience. Jean (rhymes with marine) and his team are amazing motivators who practice what they preach and teach you to reach for bigger goals and to test yourself. Absolutely the best. A very specific and customized program focused on the goals I have established. After completing a thorough assessment, the team helps you understand where there are opportunities to strengthen and improve. I am very impressed with how they work as a team so it is seamless when you move between coaches.

I have worked out with Jean and the Sherpa crew for several years. They run a very professional organization but more importantly they deliver results. They make you feel comfortable regardless of your fitness level and work with you in an inspiring environment to help you reach your goals. I came to Sherpa with an injured shoulder and limited mobility. After having an assessment done, an individualized plan was put in place not only to rehab my shoulder, but to increase my overall physical conditioning. After less than 3 months, I not only have almost full range of motion back in my shoulder, but I have started running and am doing my second 5K this weekend.
With Jean's focus on helping me establish and achieve my personal goals, I am going into my 50's healthier and more focused than ever!

As a cyclist, it is the place to be! They have a fantastic indoor training facility for the cold winters and rainy days. Lucas, the cycling director, has worked closely with me with coaching and training. He has lead me to achieve goals I did not know were possible and helping me become competitive in elite races. I couldn't be more thankful for Lucas and Jeans guidance.
