About the Club

Studio 360 Fitness is Westport’s hottest and newest boutique bootcamp studio offering small group personal training classes and private training. The workouts change everyday and utilize a high intensity interval training approach. We use dumbbells, kettlebells, battle ropes, agility ladders, medicine balls and stationary bikes in our workouts and add in a great amount of core work and athletic bodyweight movements in each workout! Expect to burn upwards of 600 calories in our class and walk away feeling leaner and stronger from when you came in. New members receive 2 weeks free so come check us out! I've known Matt for several years—our paths likely first crossed during his personal training days at Edge, and later I joined his small group fitness classes when he opened Studio 360. Since then, I’ve followed his journey on social media and jumped at the chance to sign up when he announced his 8-week online nutritional coaching program.

While there are plenty of similar programs out there, what set this one apart for me was Matt himself. I already felt comfortable with him, and more importantly, I knew he truly knows his stuff. He’s committed to staying current in his field and constantly learning. While he could easily coach someone for a fitness or lifting competition, he’s just as effective working with everyday people like me.

Throughout the program, Matt was supportive, accessible, and consistently held me accountable. He educated and motivated me in a way that made lasting changes feel achievable. My only complaint is that the 8 weeks flew by too quickly. I’m already looking forward to the next round of this program.

In the meantime, I’m walking away with a realistic, practical set of tools to help me eat better and live a healthier life.

If you are looking for an efficient workout that you will not dread coming back to then Matt is your trainer! I’m reluctant to lift a weight on my own but I have now found myself trying to copy my Matt sessions at hotel gyms on work trips. Life changing! Try him out and see for yourself.

While I have not personally trained one on one with Matt (yet), I have taken his group fitness classes a couple years ago when he was running them. I would work one on one with him in a heartbeat because he knows his stuff. Pure and simple. He is constantly continuing his education too to stay up on all the science. He is genuinely a good person dedicated to helping others as well and has provided me with tips and guidance many many times - free of charge out of general kindness. Matt is by FAR, the most professional and knowledgeable trainer that I have ever worked with. He is always on time and prepared for the workout. He shows up with a good attitude and smile on his face every time. He consistently follows up with you to see how you are feeling. If injured or in pain he makes sure to substitute movements that allow you to progress without further injury. I’ve worked with many trainers over the years, Matt stands out for sure! He cares about his clients and will help you obtain the results you want as long as you show up and put in the work. His workouts are specific to your goals, he is not pulling workouts from thin air each time you show up. His gym and his service is a 10/10!

2 years ago I interviewed 5 personal trainers and made the decision to work with Matt - best decision ever. At the age of 56 I'd given up working out on my own due to nagging minor injuries - Matt has taught me how valuable a personal trainer can be. With his guidance and an individualized training plan specific to my needs - strength training 3x a week coupled with cardio - plus a remote workout plan I can easily achieve in a hotel gym when I travel for work - I'm stronger than I've ever been both mentally and physically. Updating my review from three years ago (below). I trained with Matt for over five years before a new job forced me to change my routine. Hands down, Matt is the best trainer I've worked with in years of personal training. He always comes prepared. Workouts are thoughtful and varied - he never phones it in or uses a one-size-fits-all routine, which would be easier for him. To top it all off he's an incredibly nice guy. You'd be lucky to get an open time slot with him as all of the above means that he's pretty fully booked. If he does have an opening, you'll be in great hands.

Original review: I've worked with a number of trainers over the years and Matt is one of the best. Specifically 1) I have some back issues that require modification and Matt is always cognizant of this and 2) despite my limitations Matt has pushed me over the past two years - constantly adapting the workouts and upping the difficulty (per my explicit goals) - such that I'm in the best shape I've been in years. I'll fall back on classes (like F45, etc.) when I have to (e.g. traveling) but I rely on Matt to keep me fit - and he doesn't disappoint.

This studio is for anyone who wants an awesome full body workout in 50 minutes. I have just completed my first 30 days and already I feel a change in my body. I’m addicted! Matt the instructor is very personable and knowledge . He is very motivating and the music is awesome. I leave feeling in a great mood every time and look forward to the next class

Studio 360 fittness is is where your want to be for weight loss! I tried it out for a month because going to the Planet Fitness 3-4 times a week wasn’t doing it for me or showing the results I was looking for. In the first week at studio 360 going 5 times I lost 10 pounds! Kind you not. I’m the whole month I lost a total of 12 pounds and it would have been more if I could control my eating habits ( which is hard working in the road) I am now in a 6 week challenge at Studio 360 Fitness where I’m given a meal plan that I will live by for 6 weeks! Good energy and Matt is a great trainer that motivates you to do better and push you towards your goals, and won’t stont pushing you! A+ Fitness studio!
