UBX is coming to Old Greenwich! UBX delivers a unique mix of boxing and strength training across a 12 round circuit: 6 rounds of boxing bagwork or padwork with a coach, and 6 rounds involving a combination of functional strength, cardio and conditioning movements. Each day is different and expertly programmed by a team of experts. We offer the ultimate flexibility so you can get the most out of your membership. Our flexible start times mean you don’t have to book ahead, plus you can mix up your workouts to include 1-on-1 support during Coached Hours, independent training during Extended Access or workout anytime, anywhere with our On Demand app. Register your interest on our website to get access to our foundation memberships.

UBX Old Greenwich is great! Fast moving and fun! Erik is a fantastic coach and stays on you so you get the best workout! All the coaches are great though. Can’t go wrong. And I love that I can show up whenever I want without having to worry if I signed up or not! No wait lists or last-minute cancel fees to worry about. It’s a great concept!! Love it!

I had to update my review unfortunately. As the trainers are polite and professional, the same cannot be said from a customer service perspective. The follow up takes days, I had to reach out several times on more than one occasion to get a clear answer or update. As much as I enjoyed the workout experience, I did end my membership and it was a very disorganized process. Great staff but there is room for improvement!

Such a great place to work out. Amazing coaches work with you through each station. You can go at anytime, no need to sign up to a class or wait for a class to start. You go when it’s convenient for you! You get a great workout in 45 minutes! I also love the heat rate monitor to keep track your pushing yourself! I highly recommend!

Great workout and a fantastic team! Erik, Topazio and Jimmy (the early morning crew) are all amazing coaches who really pushes you to your limit. I really enjoy the full body workout and the high intensity, 45 minutes and I'm done for the day! And given that exercises are continuously rotated and switched every day, it never feel monotonous. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fast-paced workout while coached by a highly motivating team!

UBX has been an excellent addition to Old Greenwich. They offer fast paced 45 min workouts which are fun and challenging. Coaches are super friendly and knowledgeable , always there to offer guidance and monitor form. They also offer private and small group sessions. My teenage daughter has just completed an 8 week sport specific small group program and has absolutely loved it. Signing up for more given the progress being made. Would highly recommend checking it out!

As someone who’s never gone to the gym or even exercised for that matter - UBX was the perfect mix of boxing (which I’ve always wanted to try) and interval training which has helped me in finally building strength and stamina …and mostly finally got me exercising. All the coaches are great and very knowledgeable but I especially appreciate Jimmy who manages to push me but always with great patience & guidance.

I’ve been training at this gym for the last 3 months, and it’s been a really positive experience. The equipment is all brand new, and the workouts are designed for a solid full-body burn every time. The coaching is excellent—there’s always someone there to push you, correct your technique, and answer any questions you have. On most days, I train with Jimmy—he’s very supportive and suggests adjustments based on your personal goals. I’ve also trained with Daniel, Topazio, and Eric, and they’ve all been incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging.
Another big plus is the flexible class timings, which make it easy to stay consistent even with a busy schedule. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay consistent and see real progress.

All staff in UBX OG are so friendly. As per my experience, they treat everyone equal and like a family and thats a very comforting and welcoming feelings, made me go back there over and over again. I love my workouts at UBX. They are fast-paced, fun, and different every time. Love it here. The flexible start times make my life so much easier. The instructors are all great and really help you work towards your fitness goals. Ive worked primarily with Erik in the mornings who always pushes me to work harder, even when I don’t like it. Daniel is also a great instructor, Jamie is a good nutrition resource, and Topazio does a crazy booty bootcamp. So far so good and I have definitely noticed an improvement in my strength in the couple months that I have been coming here.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for UBX Greenwich—it’s truly a hidden gem. I’ve been boxing for over five years, and since moving to Connecticut I hadn’t found a gym that felt worth my time or money. That changed the moment I found this place. After the very first session I knew this gym was different. The workouts are intense and fun, the boxing training is actually VERY good but what really sets this gym and workout apart are the trainers, especially Erik.
Erik is one of the best boxing coaches I’ve ever worked with. He pushes me every session, gives a lot of one-on-one attention, amazing and challenging mitt work, creative combos, and even helps tailor some of the workouts to support other things I'm training for like soccer or HYROX. You can tell he really cares about everyone in the class and is so amazing at what he does.
This gym is a diamond in the rough, and I’m so grateful I found it—and especially that I met Erik, working out here has become the highlight of my week.

This is the workout I’ve been wanting forever- it’s challenging, it’s ever changing, keeping it fun and engaging, and I can already see and feel results in a month of training. The community is so supportive and friendly and the coaches are always available. It feels like a combo of group and personal training. Erik, Daniel and Topazio are all incredible coaches who make training fun and challenging. They push you to train harder but always within safe limits. Most of the days I go Erik is coaching and he is so fun and motivating and he makes you WORK! The biggest selling point for me was the format- the gym is open for “open hours” and I can walk in and start anytime without those hours. No more worrying about missing a class because my morning schedule with the kids was unpredictable. It’s 12 3-min stations. You get in, get out. It’s hard but it’s such an empowering experience.

I can’t say enough great things about this boxing gym - the rolling start times so you will never be late for a class, the proximity to the train station & ample parking, the brand-new equipment, as well as the high-intensity/recovery style of training. These tick all the boxes.
The coaches are not only highly knowledgeable and experienced, but they genuinely care about your progress—whether you're a beginner or a seasoned gym-goer. Every class can be as intense as you want it to be, the coaches motivate you and the framework is structured to help you push past your limits.
The gym is always impeccably clean & the community is incredibly supportive. You feel like part of a team from day one. I’ve seen real improvement in my fitness, weight, and confidence since joining. If you're looking for a place to train and reach your goals, this is the choice you should make! There are plenty of fitness places on Sound Beach, this is the newest & in my opinion the best of the lot. A special mention to Erik, he is there everyday at 5.30am to open up and full of energy & motivational soundbites all morning!
