I can only review the online class in "Yoga Nidra" offered by Kristen Bihary on Sunday evenings. It's wonderfully relaxing and I try to attend (or use the 48-hour recording of the class sent to all registrants) both times per month it is offered. It is healing and refreshing.

I've practiced here a long time, I enjoy the variety of classes and teachers. The studio has done a good job of going virtual during the pandemic, but I'm looking forward to in-person classes again.

I have been a longtime member of WYC. It's one of the best yoga studios in DC, offering a wide array of classes taught by outstanding, seasoned and thoughtful teachers. The studio was swift to move to online classes during Covid and has continued to offer the same variety and quality of classes. This is more than a studio - it's a community of yogis who share a passion and are driven to cultivate a positive environment. I would highly recommend WYC to all those who are seeking to start or deepen their yoga practice. And it looks like classes will be moving back to in person in January 2022 - I can't wait!

I've been practicing here for years. The quality of teachers is awesome!
There are various yoga classes offered- easy to find something for everyone. The recordings library and zoom classes have been a blessing during covid. Great owner and managers too. Helpful and kind. I can not say enough nice things about the studio.

Love, love, love this studio. I have been practicing here for 16 years. The variety of classes offered for all levels, the quality of the teachers, some who have been there as long as I have, and the low key welcoming vibe make this a perfect yoga studio. Highly recommend.

This studio feels like home, and really fosters a beautiful yoga community. I've never had a bad class, and I enjoy all of the teachers. Throughout the pandemic, they have been communicative, adaptable, and a real source of support. Their transition to online classes was flawless, and I have no doubt their transition back to the studio will be the same.

I have practiced yoga for much if my life, traveling and experiencing yoga studios wherever I am in the world. I've been with the Washington Yoga Center for many years and it is top among all the studios and teachers I've experienced. I am so grateful to call it my yoga home. The teachers are wonderful, knowledgeable, diverse, caring, and professional. Whether you take class with Alice, David, Jen, Ronnie, Stanley, Susan or any of the others - you will not be disappointed. There is something for everyone. The studio management is amazingly supportive, welcoming, and caring, and always has the community's well-being top of mind. I highly and enthusiastically recommend the Washington Yoga Center and I hope to see you there soon.

This is a yoga studio that offers teachers plenty of creative freedom and support, so you have access to a broad range of yoga styles and many classes at different times of day. They have stayed faithfully online during the entire pandemic! We are looking forward to them carefully opening in person as well, very soon.

I’ve been going to WYC for several years now and absolutely love them. They transitioned flawlessly into pandemic yoga teaching online, and I’m so happy that my favorite instructor, Audrey Roxas, is still teaching for them. Can’t say enough great things!

After months of searching and trying out area yoga studios, I've finally found one that fits my needs: across from Tenleytown metro, evening classes that fit my schedule, and the best instructors around. WYC has kicked my practice up to the next level.

Washington Yoga Center has become my home for my yoga practice. I've been taking classes at WYC for the past six months, after moving from downtown DC to Tenleytown. This space is special because it has a calm, zen atmosphere, experienced teachers, and a great yoga program offering regular classes, special workshops, and special events for the dedicated yoga student. Also, one of my favorite teachers, David Ingalls, is teaching here on Tuesdays and Wednesday evenings.

One of the things I like the most about WYC is that the owner, Kiron, wants to get the best teachers in DC on board. He made me feel welcome when I first visited the studio last year, and his constant presence at the studio shows me that he is truly dedicated to spreading the benefits of a yoga practice to everyone, regardless of age, ability, or experience. If you are a student at American University, a professional working in downtown DC, or a retired professional living in Tenleytown or Friendship Heights, I highly recommend the Washington Yoga Center to you.
