I completed the all day meditation and it was both challenging and excellent. Flow and yin yoga in morning was great. Mix of longer sitting and short walking meditation. I would suggest that for the end of day yoga session, don’t do flow, it’s too intense after so many hours sitting. I suggest a more gentle yoga or stick to yin and restorative poses for a more gentle approach after over 9 hours. I felt like the last yoga class “undid” some of the meditation. I’d do it again if the 2nd yoga class is more restorative. Thank you for a great day!

I am visiting DC from Columbus Ohio and located this quaint studio not too far from my hotel. I went to a class the first day in the afternoon taught by Aperna and the second day in the morning taught by Sam. Both instructors did an outstanding job and I benefited from a promotion where I only paid for 1 class as the second one was free. Thanks Aperna and Sam!!

Are you new to yoga and totally lost as to what it means to "flow into down dog?" Great! Are you a practiced veteran looking to deepen your practice? Equally fantastic! Are you a broke person living in DC who thought that you'd never be able to afford to go to yoga and also eat? This is your place- the reasonable prices and ENORMOUS class selection make it possible to actually practice yoga without going broke!

The instructors are amazing. I was immediately impressed by Shahrooz, who walked our small class in the I Street location through the basics of every pose. He was patient and seemed to care deeply that our practice meant something that day. I suspect that's how he teaches every class and I will be attending as many of his as possible.

Honestly, Yoga District embodies what it means to truly practice yoga. Everyone's journey is different but for me, the core tenets of a successful practice are inclusivity, instruction, guidance, and accessibility. Yoga District has a policy supporting all of those and more- they preach community and they practice it here too. Go get your Namaste on here!

I'm a new student and loving the experience.

The instructor (Patrick) is very helpful in teaching newbies, and provides plenty of modified pose suggestions if I just can't do the splits, upside down, underwater.

I've only attended Rocket Flow on Wednesday evening (1 hour 15 minute class). The pass is fast, but not out of this world. Music was excellent (soft, yet current, thank you for not featuring water falls for 75 minutes).

You'll build a good sweat, and with a little coercion, can convince the instructor to turn on the fan and AC.

Mats are available for $2.00 rental, and cleansing wipes are provided for everyone at the end of class (yeah hygiene!).

Be prepared to get close to your neighbor, the space is small, but each class can accommodate around 15 people. A great way to make friends.
