It’s bad enough that this “24 Hour” Fitness isn’t actually open 24 hours, but now they can’t even open on time. The posted weekend hours are 6 AM to 8 PM, yet here I am at 6:31 AM, sitting in the parking lot waiting for the doors to open. I’ve been here since 6:02. This happens WAY too often. I’ve been a loyal member at this location for years and want to keep supporting it, but if this kind of unreliability continues, I’ll have no choice but to take my business elsewhere.

It's been an unfortunate decline in service over the last three years here. Hours have consistently been shrinking while the amount I've paid has increased. I understand staffing could be an issue but this is the third occurrence in which they have closed early and turned the lights off in the middle of my workout or the doors were locked. In all of these instances their adjusted hours stated they would be open. The gym is constantly dirty.

I added a star for Carlos (cycle and zumba) and a few friendly front desk staff but management and operations need to provide the support to upkeep this gym properly.

While I must say that there is a HUGE need for improvements and upgrades on the equipment… they have an excellent staff and to me that is most important. I was in town for a conference and Raena went out of her way to accommodate me as a guest at 6am in the morning. I am looking to now join and utilize all the other locations throughout Florida. Hopefully corporate reads this and addresses the equipment needs before it’s too late.

It gets a little crowded which may be a sign of a good gym. They have a LOT more cardio equipment than weights so hard to find a weight machine available but that's everywhere.
My most favorite thing is an actual working jacuzzi spa and a very nice and under used pool area. I don't really use it enough myself but the spa is literally why I got a membership.

24 Hour Fitness on Kirkman has gotten a lot better. There used to be LOTS of broken equipment throughout the club. But they recently fixed everything. I hope it stays this way.

Only other issue that I have is the cleanliness of the facility. The locker rooms and bathrooms are really gross. I honestly think they get cleaned once a week. I go in the locker rooms daily to change and I see the same trash laying on the floor day after day. The gym floor has dust bunnies and hairs all around.

But I only pay $10 a month, so I guess you get what you pay for. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m honestly not going anywhere else. 😅

I became a member of 24 hours fitness on April 2022.
The amenities are good . I love the fact they have basketball court, lap pool , sauna and much more .
But what I love most is the way Calvin Lyons , welcomes everyone . He is Amazing!! every morning I look forward to greet him . He make you feel in such way that you want to come back for more . Cleaning sprays and wipes tend to be empty often. The steam room and sauna are amazing features that really differentiate a higher priced gym like this from others in the area (the monthly fee plus contract is double LA fitness with no contract and a functional sauna). I'm pleased that the steam room and sauna have reopened and that the whirlpool is working again.

Update: I know this is a commercial gym but...yikes. The members leave plates, barbells, and dumbbells everywhere and rarely re-rack their weights. It's often a mess and I spend a lot of time searching for plates or equipment that isn't put away. People will literally just walk away from the squat rack and simply leave whatever weight they were using as is. It's also not open 24 hours, and closes early at the end of the week.
I like the buddy pass feature but the gym could use some additional equipment, such as wedges for squatting, GHO iso, hack squat, etc.

This club is beyond dirty. Every piece of equipment is filthy. The floor is always very dirty, sweat marks everywhere on the equipment. I am yet to see someone cleaning in this club. Most paper towel machine are always empty. Lots of trash (used paper towels) on the floor. The trash cans are always overflowing for days. I can just imagine the bathrooms. I am surprise the health department has not shut this place down. I wish I would have tour this club before joining. So disappointed.

Everyone is really nice but there are a couple of issues I wish they'd deal with. I've been coming to this gym for a couple of years now and I wish they would fix the broken machines faster and it always seems like there are broken machines. There also seems to be no gym etiquette here, equipment is left all over the place and a lot of people don't wipe down the machines after using them. Personally, I don't use the locker room but I hear it's disgusting a lot of the time. When I first started coming here, it was much better than it is now. Hopefully these things get fixed.

The reviews are true, this gym is filthy. I mainly go to the 24 Hour Fitness at Colonial but the few times I went to this location (including today), it seems to be nothing but messy. I went to the bathroom and literally each urinal had unflushed urine and absolutely reeked of the smell. When I went inside the stall, the toilet themselves were dirty. If a locker room or bathroom in any gym is unclean, that is a major red flag. I come to this specific location for the full court basketball court and the floor has usually been very dusty. Leaving a 1 star in hopes that this encourages new staff or new management to improve the conditions of the gym. Also, the limited hours are laughable.

It’s not the front desk there super nice but everything else is kinda disappointing I moved from Miami and well first thing I hated is that it closes at 11pm it’s 24 hour fitness not La fitness I made the membership for that reason this location is the closest I live to so it sucks that I have to drive a whole hour away to work out etc because they close early etc …. The machines are not the cleanest either

Average gym/ended up going to another gym after 3 months💪🏼…always seemed like one person was running the entire gym. I didn't have much interaction with the staff. There are not too many machines for the chest, and there is a lack of variety in General. A lot of equipment has been broken for over a month. Shady crowd later in the evening. People would bring speakers in the sauna 🙄. It wasn't my vibe for what i want in a gym.

Was thinking to become a member but with these bad reviews... been going on for a long time and no change to cleanliness or properly working machines I'll look elsewhere . No want the hassle of paying for nothing. If ypu keep reading the comments its on going complaints for months on end this company obviously does not care about the paying customer.

False advertising they are not 24 hours.... I Tried to sign-in 9pm on a friday ... Then I was told the gym now closes at 9pm. This was frustrating because I already dealing with the gym closing at 11:00 for two years.... This gym needs new management

Though I love the distance from the gym from my house. This gym is just a mess. Not only is it not 24/7 like in the name, it can’t simply open up at 5am on Mondays, on 1/22/24 it opened up 50 minutes later than 5am. I understand Mondays are hard but, co’mon. The gym is usually always dirty. Equipment is either broken or not taken care of.

Complete disappointment! I chose 24fitness for being close to my house but I completely regret my choice. Extremely dirty environment, disgusting bathroom and i have never seen an employee cleaning the facilities. Besides the disgustingness and the unorganized environment, a lot of the equipments are broken and out of maintenance which makes my workout extremely limited. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. I’m bound to a 6 months contract and I regret it immensely!!!!

I recently joined this 24-hour location, having been a member since '09 (originally from Miami). Regrettably, I must express my disappointment in the current state of the facility. It's disheartening to note that a considerable number of machines, both in the cardio and strength training sections, are out of order, and there is a lack of clear labeling for the functioning equipment. The overall cleanliness leaves much to be desired, and the management appears to be inadequate. Frankly, the condition of this gym is making me contemplate the continuation of my membership and exploring alternative fitness options. Such standards are truly unacceptable.

They shouldn’t deserve even one star toward the employee Alaric unfair treatment. I was a customer for a while years ago. I came back and gave my only card I have to that guy for a membership and it didn’t work on their system. I called the bank and no issue. The guy took $25 by cash toward the membership while the card is should be fixed by the company. The call center didn’t fix the issue for a while. I went back to the guy to get the $25 back since the card issue still and it worked with other gym company. I have a proof when it comes to judgment. Although that time, I came to pay by cash for the membership meaning that I have money. The guy was so rude saying “Everybody bank cards are working except yours?!, No refund since you paid for one day” I left that guy and he threw up a word being rude saying” its just $25!”. Lets see how the company will make profit after that unfair treatment..

This place is absolutely disgusting. There are weights everywhere. There is trash everywhere, especially in the locker rooms. There is no toilet paper or paper towels because the staff does nothing but sit on their phones.
There are multiple people in the weight room, playing very loud, vulgar music with their own Bluetooth sound systems. There is no discipline or ordinance here whatsoever. The owner of the establishment needs to visit it immediately. I’m surprised the health department has not closed this place down.
There were a group of guys in the hot tub talking about how they all get in free because they know their people that work the front desk. There is also a few homeless people that come in and sleep in the locker room. I’m sure there will be people that hit like on this comment because I am not making any of this up.

This gym is absolutely disgusting and dirty, they don't clean it at all! I've been training there for about four months and I choose because is near my house, but every day when I arrive is worst. Some equipments are broken and nobody cares, they don't fix it. I talked about it with the manager a month ago, but nothing change.

I got a membership here because it was close to my home. I rather take the drive and go to another gym. This is the filthiest gym I’ve ever been to! Listen to the reviews it’s trash everywhere! The bathrooms and locker rooms are filthy. They should have someone walking the floors of the gym to make sure that people aren’t throwing trash everywhere or leaving equipment all over the floor! Sad that some of the members of the gym are so careless that they can’t clean up after themselves. I really wanted to like this gym but it is garbage…literally

The 24-hour fitness gym in name only stopped being 24-hour gym a long time ago, closing at 11 pm, it is not able to accommodate the huge number of clients and to help they arrive in groups and take all the equipment between them. it's bad I will close my account and I will no longer be a member I'm not going to walk extra miles for a 24-hour gym. The reason I mentioned that you stopped being 24-hour gym is because if it came back, the number of people using the gym would be divided because due to the fact that it's closing at 11 pm, It is already unacceptable, it is becoming overcrowded and impossible to use. You coming up with pretty words doesn't solve anything, what actually solves things are actions. You guys are not good administrators.

Nice location but as far for the clean part a big 0 and lets not talk about people living in they cars park in the gym parking and management dont ask them to leave they really dont care about what goes on in the parking lot plus trash everywhere (Owner) needs to really look into this or find a Location Manager thats really on top of things and not just inside socializing inside

The evening staff at this gym are very uninterested in their jobs. The front desk employees are always on their phones or chatting with their friends, ignoring members. A couple of days ago when I went to sign in, my app wasn't working so I asked the front desk gentleman if he might be able to look me up. Annoyed that he had to cut off his conversation with his friend, he replied that he would look me up if I gave them a good review. Needless to say, this is my review.

I will say that the morning desk young woman with long brown hair is very helpful and pleasant.

The female bathrooms stink and smell horrible . It’s so dirty . I spend 2 hours and when I went back to the female locker room it was in the same condition. That means no one cleaned it during those 2 hours knowing that it is very high traffic . When it first opened up it was very clean now it’s getting nastier and nastier. You are definitely wasting money on having so much men walking around in the gym and not actually cleaning . Where is your cleaning staff. Machines are getting dustier. Tighten up please because your going to loose a lot of people.

This place is so dirty it's insane. Trash everywhere. Mold and gunk in the steam room, sauna dirty af, and the locker rooms and shower are absolutely gross! The fact that management is not over seeing this is disturbing. Not just management at this location but even a regional manager. If this is not fixed i will cancel my membership and will find a way to report this issue to the county. This is beyond unacceptable and disgusting.
