Brock was incredibly hospitable and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. Super helpful, welcoming, and the kind of person who sets the tone for a great training environment the moment you walk in.

And shoutout to Adrianna, the true MVP of this place. She keeps the gym spotless. The attention to detail shows in every corner. You can tell she takes pride in keeping the space immaculate, and it makes a huge difference in the overall experience.

l've been to MANY gyms, I mean MANY gyms. This gym is hands down the best gym I've EVER been to. The equipment by far the best I've used. But not only do they have the BEST equipment, they have many exercise equipment which you will not see at commercial gyms nor small private gyms. This is great for anyone with a back injury who still wants to do different workouts but can no longer do heavy free weight workouts!!! This gym has many machines to still get your muscles big without injury! :)) By far the BEST glutes & legs machine. For men the best pecs and arms machine! :)) Best part it is ALWAYS CLEAN! They have the nicest Spanish lady who cleans the machines daily like if she is cleaning her home! :)) Now they just added a slushy machine! :) NEVER crowded so the super sets are always on point! The large windows gives so much natural light which helps to boost energy & alertness making it easier to stay focused & committed to your workouts! :))

My bf and I were genuinely excited to check out this gym. It looks beautiful from the outside and their website talks about expert trainers, but there’s no pricing listed online and you can't sign up online, so I decided to call for more info.

The person who answered the phone could not have been less interested in helping. His tone was flat-out rude and dismissive. I asked 3 simple questions about membership and prices and personal training, he acted like I was inconveniencing him. He rushed through the prices with zero explanation. Then when I was asking a last question, he interrupted me and said very curtly 'Ma'am you just need to come in with all these questions'! No effort to make me feel welcome or care about the fact that I wanted to sign 2 people up for the gym AND personal training. Wild lol!

Honestly, it was such an unpleasant first impression. If someone can’t even be polite or helpful on the phone to potential new members, that says a lot about the culture. I hope management pays attention because first impressions really do matter.

The staff and GM are fantastic, but the owner is unwelcoming and dismissive, creating an overall negative atmosphere. Would’ve rated it 5 stars but got a day pass to check it out and one of the workers told me and my friend to leave the locker room because he was “trying to use the bathroom” and as were checking the locker rooms out. The worker drives a BMW bike and was very rude. My friend and I were minding our own business. Other than that the gym is very nice.
Only other complaint would be all the weights are in Kg not Lbs. not a big deal just more of an inconvenience

I love my new gym! Everything is immaculately clean, equipment brand new and I can come work out anytime even at 5pm without it being too crowded. The lockers have a key so you don’t have to bring your own lock. Also has a lot of machines that I love that other gyms don’t have. Another bonus is that they open at 6am on the weekends

I came here as a visitor today - bought a $25 day pass. I’ve worked out in gyms all over the world and I can easily say this was one of the most impressive. It was immaculate, with beautiful brand new matching equipment throughout - literally Every single piece of equipment you could ever want. A true body builder’s dream. The only thing I found lacking was TRX straps but I was able to improvise. A shout out to the young man behind the reception desk. He was warm, welcoming, informative and very professional. A hard thing to come by these days in any human being. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience. Highly recommend this gym.

Hit up this gym to celebrate the 4th of July with a killer workout from Penandpaperstrengthapp and again on the 6th for a big back day. Great atmosphere, staff super awesome and friendly. No confusing layouts. Weightlifting downstairs, cardio upstars.
Weights are all in kilograms and conversion charts throughout the gym. Great selection of post workout shakes and pre-workout RTDs. Super cool merch. Had a fantastic experience there. When I come back to Pompano, I will be back here for my strength training sessions.

I have been going there for 3 months and was also recommended a trainer Heinz as I wanted to get fit for the summer and I have been struggling with my weight and eating habits . Coach Heinz became my trainer and I have lost 20 pounds training and changed my eating habits and lifestyle. He is very patient and I understanding and is a true professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a serious fitness trainer. Also enjoying the big tv and the free towels and sanitation station. Amazing atmosphere and very friendly staff, visiting for the day and a $25 day pass is more than worth it for anybody who likes the gym and needs a good atmosphere. Bathrooms were spotless and variety of machines and free weights to use. However hamstring machines are lacking and it is a tight working space and if 10+ people are ever in this gym it will get crowded. Overall a very nice experience and was never that busy when I was there.

I was looking for a gym nearby that I could get a week pass because I’m out of town for Spring Break and I’m glad I choose AllStar gym. The machines are all new and the gym is clean. They have more than your usual weightlifting equipment which is great if you are into weightlifting. Parking is free and convenient. Great music and lighting. Locker room is smaller but you can lock up your stuff. They have showers, you just need to bring a towel and toiletries. Cardio, stretching and core training is upstairs and downstairs has all the weights. I met Tim today who was one of the owners. Very helpful in explaining a few machines. If you’re out of town and looking for a gym, go here and you won’t regret it. Easy to sign up at the desk. If I lived local this would be my primary gym.

Disappointing Experience at All Star Gym

I joined All Star Gym in August, and my experience has been far from satisfactory. The gym faced significant delays in opening due to permitting issues, resulting in a closure for over two months after an initial brief opening period. While the owner provided weekly updates about a reopening, the repeated delays were frustrating. When the gym finally reopened, my membership was extended without my consent, leading to overpayment.

Despite my request for a refund or credit for the lost time, the owner has declined to address the issue, which has been extremely disappointing. Since I will not be receiving any type of refund, I am now forced to continue using the gym, even though I’m unhappy with the circumstances.

The gym equipment is generally in good condition, but there are a few design elements that detract from the overall experience. For example, all the equipment uses kilograms instead of pounds, which feels out of place for an American-themed gym. Additionally, the layout of the gym is quite cramped, with equipment placed very closely together, limiting movement and comfort, especially during peak hours. The upstairs area, intended for stretching or core exercises, is also very limited in size, making it difficult to find a quiet, open spot.
Another concern is the gym's environment. The un-tinted windows allow a significant amount of sunlight, which can be distracting for those working out in the mornings. Additionally, there is a noticeable presence of influencers recording their workouts, which may not be ideal for those who prefer privacy or don’t wish to be on camera. Despite being advertised as a premium/luxury gym, it does not offer basic amenities such as a steam room, sauna, or workout classes, which are commonly found in other gyms.

Finally, while trainer Heinz is often at the gym with his clients, his presence can sometimes make other members feel a bit crowded, as he uses a significant amount of space while training. While it's understandable that trainers need space to work, it can occasionally feel as though there’s limited room left for others during busy times.

Overall, while the gym offers decent equipment, the layout, customer service, lack of amenities, and overall environment have left much to be desired.

I would recommend prospective members carefully consider whether this gym aligns with their needs and expectations, as it hasn't met mine.

Avoid This Gym – Broken Promises and No Refunds

I signed up for a full-year membership at this gym in August, paying in full upfront, based on what was advertised as a premium fitness experience. Unfortunately, it has been anything but.

Gym Closed for Two Months – The gym unexpectedly shut down from August to November, and instead of offering a refund for the lost time, they pushed my membership start date back to November—a decision made without my consent.

Broken Promises – The gym advertised several amenities that still haven’t been set up months into my membership, including a large TV, an outdoor training area, and a beer & wine liquor license. These were major selling points when I signed up, and none of them have materialized.

Hostile Customer Service – When I raised concerns, a trainer named Heinz told me to wipe my sweat and “recommended I leave and get a full refund.” But when I contacted the owner, Jeff refused to refund even a single dollar, stating that I was welcome to continue using the gym but could not get my money back—even though they failed to deliver what was promised.

This gym has not honored its commitments and has treated paying members unfairly. If you value honest business practices, professionalism, and customer service, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Sehr schönes Fitnessstudio. Am besten hat mir gefallen, dass alles in rot/blau lackiert war; habe ich vorher noch nie so gesehen. Die Temperatur war mir persönlich zum Training leider zu kalt, da mir trotz Training einfach nicht warm wurde. Ansonsten aber echt super und beim einchecken waren sie auch sehr nett umd haben einmal alles erklärt und durch das Studio geführt

This gym far surpassed my expectations. The owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain and demonstrate the equipment to my partner and me. The gym was spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. It was definitely a vibe!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PHONE, here's why:
I was really interested in joining this gym because it looks amazing from the outside, and the pictures online make it seem like a great place. Their website talks a lot about expert coaches, personalized plans, and friendly staff — but there’s no info about membership prices, so I decided to call.

I was expecting helpful customer service, but the guy who answered the phone had a terrible attitude. I simply asked about the prices, and he sounded so annoyed that I didn’t even want to ask anything else. He gave me the prices with no extra details about the membership, no explanation about the plans, nothing. It felt like I was bothering him just by asking a basic question.
It’s really disappointing that a gym that looks so nice and professional would have someone like that handling calls. If someone is that irritated talking to potential members, maybe they shouldn’t be the one answering the phone. I hope the gym takes this seriously and makes sure there’s someone more friendly and helpful for future inquiries. FIRST IMPRESSIONS MATTER!

“STOP THE SEARCH… YOU FOUND YOUR GYM!”

Alright, so I just moved to Pompano Beach in January 2025, and I had this grand plan to build a home gym. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t cutting it. So, I set out to tour gyms, and my first stop was AllStar Gym… turns out, it was also my only stop.

From the moment I walked in, I knew, this wasn’t just a gym, it was THE gym. Spotless. Not overcrowded. Everyone’s chill. No awkward wait times where you start contemplating a full career change while someone camps on a machine. Just a solid, welcoming vibe that already felt like home.

And let me tell you… I was so hyped about this place that I couldn’t even wait to get home to write this review. I’m literally sitting in my car, drenched in sweat, still catching my breath, typing this out like my life depends on it.

Final verdict? 10/10. Five stars. 100%. A+++. However you rate things, AllStar Gym maxes it out. If you’re in Pompano Beach and looking for a gym, stop wasting time. Just pull up, sign up, and thank me later. 💪🔥

This gym is unbelievable. I have been lifting weights for 35 years and there is some equipment in this gym that I have never seen. When I tried this equipment, I couldn’t believe how well it isolated certain parts of my body. The chest machines and the shoulder machines are unreal. I got a chance to talk to the owner as well, and he was the most welcoming inviting person.

All star is brand new, squeaky clean, with top of the line equipment, tons of room to move around, never filled with people to the brim, and it’s family owned. The owner Jeff is very welcoming and happy to help. Highly recommend!

Great clean gym with 5 star equipment. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Resort style locker rooms are definitely a plus. Would highly recommend to those who who are serious about lifting and want a great atmosphere to lift in.

A must for all levels of fitness. All Star has every piece of equipment, some I never even seem before and I've been working out for decades. Two floors of insane equipment and cardio. The owner is there everyday and there is always someone cleaning the facility - immaculate!! Emily at the front desk makes signing up painless.

I’ve been to many gyms and this is one of the most unique gyms I’ve been too all high end machines that do not hurt your joints do to the smooth movement's the staff are very friendly and informative and the membership is under $100 a month which is rare for this high end type of gym if your looking for a gym do yourself a favor and stop by for a tour I promise it won’t be a waste of time !!!

This is a serious gym for people who are serious about their workouts. Not comparable to chains like LA or Planet. Best gym in Broward County. If you're looking to take your fitness to the next level, go get a day pass, and you'll be sold. The owner is a nice guy and isn't trying to run a commercial op for high revenue, but rather own a high-end gym, which is what this place is.

I'm always on the hunt for dope gyms when I'm traveling, and Allstar in Pompano Beach definitely hit the spot. This place is great – seriously well-equipped, super clean, and the vibe is awesome. I came in around 6:30 AM, grabbed a day pass (easy process, the dude at the desk was super chill – think he was from Rochester?), and got to work. They've got everything you need: tons of weights, an awesome cardio section upstairs, and the whole place is just immaculate. Locker rooms were spotless, parking was a breeze, and for $25 (day pass), it was a steal. If I lived here, Allstar would be my home gym.

If you are visiting Ft Lauderdale or if you are a Ft Lauderdale resident, you have to go to this gym!!! The best gym I’ve been to. They sell day passes and have the best machines I’ve seen in my life. The seat leather is soft and the machines have the best resistance profile ever. Great staff and views. Run, don’t walk to Allstar Gym!
