It’s a nice enough gym I guess but for me it’s been completely ruined by the fact that for some reason if you are a woman and go to the gym around 10-11 am the bathrooms are closed for cleaning for what feels like forever. I know that you can go in kinda when it’s closed but if u are trying to shower or anything and don’t want to wait an hour good luck.

I’ve been going to this gym for about 3 months and Isaac has been so unprofessional and unreasonable. He picks and chooses when he want to enforce the rules. He’s very unkind and very rude. I usually have no problem with the largo location or Tyrone. I drive 30 minutes out here and I’ve been bringing my guest for months, not once did he ask for ID. So my guest stopped bringing it, but now he says he needs to see her id but we stopped bringing it because they never asked for it. But now Isaac said my guest can’t work out because they are choosing to enforce this police today, a policy we always follow but he wouldn’t even make an exception even listening to the circumstances. They are not customer friendly here, Isaac specifically

I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area. i have cycled through various gyms in the past and this by far is the best long term. this amped location embraces such a safe and positive space. from the front desk team to the cleaning staff they are all incredibly hard working and personable. furthermore, i must strongly advocate for my trainer, fiona. she is an absolute powerhouse within these walls internally & externally she is undoubtedly an exceptional asset to this gym. fiona possess a wide range of knowledge regarding fitness/ wellness, she is passionate and committed to ensuring the best results for her clients. she curates thoughtful / intentional workout plans tailored to my goals to maximize my proficiency at the gym and offered incredible insight to prioritizing one’s fitness and health. i can not advocate for fiona’s performance enough as a trainer and as an employee overall. i am beyond impressed & inspired by her tenaciously infectious attitude during our sessions i always look forward to them & suggest her to everyone.

To be a great gym, you need to have the right atmosphere.
Amped Tyrone absolutely has that atmosphere from the moment you walk in.
And if you listen closely... you just might hear the epic war cry of Diosa de Amped, and be inspired to push deeper into your set for those extra reps. 2 more Reps LETS GOOOOOOOOI

At the $10/month price you can really be okay with some things but now that they’ve increased the price I’m disappointed to not see any quality improvements.
Cons:
Ceiling leaks in the rain regularly.
Staff would rather be anywhere else and are generally not helpful.
Broken equipment stays broken for much longer than reasonable.
Pros:
24/7 access
Usually pretty clean
Plenty of great equipment.
Not nearly as grossly busy as crunch
I’m going to start looking elsewhere unless I start seeing some of those changes that were paying for. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

This place is a joke, Watch when you cancel your membership.i canceled my membership as well as personal trainer almost a year ago. All of a sudden 3 months ago they started deducting my membership again. When I brought this to Mak the Dms attention she would not budge. She said I do not have form on file even though I went in and spoke with Manager who stated everything is canceled. Be very careful this place will sneak funds and not refund or work to resolve the issue. I am thoroughly disgusted with the way they do business and handle any discrepancy’s with their business. Heaven forbid her employees make a mistake.

I had a 5 star INITIAL experience with this gym - facility had good breath of machines, free weights, and open 24 hrs - and they sold me on the fact that I could put a hold on my account for just $5/month when I was traveling.
Now I find the ‘travel hold’ was dropped before the end date, and they put the typical obstacles up to correct their billing error, change payment method, honor the original hold, or cancel the account entirely… have to be there in person, send signed letters, etc.
Easy to find another local with better terms and member treatment.

Nice gym, new equipments, not too crowded. However if you pay for membership with body scan , don’t expect to actually get it—mine was pushed back repeatedly since paying members clearly aren’t their priority. Feels like a complete scam.

Edit: Having been a member of the gym for years it sucks to have to bring this down to two stars. The only reason why it’s not one is because the maintenance staff is amazing and as hard as they work they can’t keep up with the damaging and disrespectful nature of some of the patrons.
Squat racks never have the necessary weights on them, 25s are nowhere to be found anywhere in the gym, all the 45s are miraculously on like two machines in the entire gym, 3 benches have cumulatively 150lbs between them, cable equipment is constantly awol and idiots can’t stop flooding the bathroom by spitting Zyns and gum in the urinals. I also have no idea why all the bumper weights are on prime machines and the smith machines.
I hope it shapes up quickly because I’ve noticed half the regulars here have been going to Crunch, which is where I find myself when I don’t need to use the daycare here.
It’s a shame because they have some kick ass gear here, there are just no consequences for people who don’t respect the space.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They sent me to collections for almost $6,000 TWO YEARS after we parted ways. I signed up for a personal training membership that was very pricey for two 30 minute sessions a week. It was a complete joke-- the "trainers" were completely unqualified. They hated their job and talked about it to me. So many of them quit-- I went through 4 trainers in 3 months. They didn't care about my progress, and a couple times they didn't show up to our appointment. I tried quitting several times and no one would give me direction on how I could end my membership, so I blocked them from charging my card. Two years later I started getting collections calls after they had recently hired a company to go after people they felt owe them money. They had been charging me nearly $350/month the entire time, and expected me to actually pay it. It was the most stressful 2 weeks of my life trying to deal with this so they didn't ruin the credit score I've worked so hard for. I was not alone-- every time I went in to speak with the GM, I met people in the same situation. I had to call and send so many emails to the CEO, CFO and GM before ever getting a response-- we came to an agreement that they ended up not honoring. It was a nightmare. They obviously couldn't care less about their members-- just read their contract and you'll see there's not a single clause protecting the customer. Only them. I would suggest any gym other than Amped.

Update 8/18/2025 - My new trainer Fiona is an absolute blast. She starts every session with a great attitude and energy that gets me pumped (ha) even if I’m not in the mood to work out. If you are considering a personal trainer I’d recommend her 10/10 times.
First gym I’ve been a member at and the bar was set pretty high (hah, great pun). My trainer was Jaymie who I’d recommend to anyone if he is available. Facility is maintained fairly well with regular towel changes for cleaning machines and staff are always around ready to help. Would recommend this Amped to anyone and if others are similar, I’d recommend Amped as a whole.

Was a pretty decent gym as far as cleanliness goes but be wary of any kind of signups… I decided to get a trainer as they worked good with my work schedule getting off work at 4:30, fast forward 4 months they decided to change schedules and not take appointments after 5 so ok cool I get it try to cancel that part and boom here comes the big early termination fee, I feel it is wrong to charge customers for your services changing when previously established, do yourself a favor and go with a locally owned gym

Pros:
Affordable if you want the baseline package
Plenty of squat racks, lots of equipment including some newer things I haven’t seen before
Multiple rooms if you’re a shy lifter you can find space away from the majority of people
Lots of mirrors
Good lower body equipment
Cons:
-It’s way too dark. This might be weird for it to be my biggest con, but I need light for motivation lol There’s like pink neon lights but I legit could fall asleep it’s so dark. I think one of the reasons I ended up signing up with LA Fitness is the lighting
-It’s hard to find plates under 45lb. I was in the middle of benching like mid set and a guy grabbed the two 25s off my bench while I was benching. Like didn’t ask or at least wait for me to finish. I know that’s not the gyms fault but that’s kinda dangerous, especially when I was benching my body weight, and if they had more plates that probably wouldn’t happen. I also wanted to add a 5lb plate to my bb while squatting and it was buried under multiple 45s. I couldn’t find another 5lb anywhere
-The music is really loud. I prefer listening to my own music but I had to have it at a super high volume to hear. It wasn’t as bad the second day I came so maybe it was just where I was lifting?
-It’s very influencer-y for lack of better word. There’s a “babe cave” in which you have to pay extra for that has a giant pink throne- like that could be space for another bench lol

Love this gym BUT the only issue I have is there is a very creepy man that walks around and very clearly makes women uncomfortable. He is rarely even seen actually working out, leaves equipment everywhere, and he will often go and stand next to women working out and just stare and walk around in circles near them... very weird vibes. Women should be made to feel safe in the gym environment and im surprised nobody who works here has noticed or revoked his membership

Another 1 star review from me since my last one was removed.
Seems like they hire young unqualified employees for a manager position who clearly have no experience or education to do so. The front desk “manager” girl is unprofessional and does not know how to handle difficult situations. I asked for the general manager’s contact information after she gave me a generic unhelpful response to my complaint. I still haven’t received the information I asked for. Furthermore, she is using security footage to shut me up. Sorry, but that’s not happening. The gym is already an intimidating place to be in general as a female and now knowing the management team won’t do anything to make you feel “safe” in an uncomfortable situation is an uneasy feeling.
Backstory: On Monday, my gym partner and I were approached disrespectfully from a male member which lead to a little argument in the gym. Her and I still feel uncomfortable going to the gym after the altercation because nothing was done by the management team at the time. There was no acknowledgment, and gym rules were made up on the spot to justify the male members actions.

I realize the two things I mention that follow may seem trivial, and that’s kinda the point here. Trivial = easy fixes; yet staff doesn’t seem to care. If you can’t be trusted with the little things I certainly won’t trust you with the bigger things. In a email response I received from the manager of the manager, there seems to be greater interest in making excuses for the rude staff rather than hold them accountable to higher, more professional standards.
Joined the Tyrone location on July 17, 2025.
First visit, a toilet in the women’s locker room was over-flowing all over the floor. Reported it to front desk staff member who said he “was aware” & it had already been reported yet didn’t bother to turn off the water or place a wet floor sign.
Second & last visit, I tried to use the stair machine located at the end of the row nearest the wall. After several attempts, I realized it was malfunctioning. When I brought this to the attention of the staff member at the front desk, who I was later informed is the operations manager, she too mentioned she was “already aware.” So I asked if she could put an out of order sign on the machine so others would be aware, and she said “yea, I don’t know why he hasn’t done than yet” and then politely returned to her texting duties.
I was surprised that as a manager she didn’t take the initiative to place the sign herself, especially since it seems like a simple step that could improve the gym experience for everyone. Unfortunately, I also felt the interaction was abrupt and didn’t reflect the level of service I expected. The manager appeared more occupied with her phone rather than engaging with members, which left me feeling undervalued.
Because of this experience, I decided to cancel my membership just days after signing up. “the manager” did not inquire about my reasons or offer assistance to resolve my concerns….but I’m willing to bet she texted about it!

Great Gym, Awful Locker Room Conditions
Let me start with the bad—because it’s really bad. The locker room bathrooms and showers are in unacceptable condition. Out of the three showers, one takes a LONG TIME to warm up and sprays water everywhere but where it should. The second one never gets warm at all. The third? The drain is so clogged that within a minute you’re standing in a puddle of dirty water. Absolutely disgusting.
As for the toilets, they’re constantly backed up. I’ve taken pictures because it’s honestly hard to believe this level of neglect is still happening. For a facility that gets so much right on the fitness floor, it’s ridiculous how far behind the locker room is. It’s not just inconvenient—it’s unsanitary.
**Now, to be fair—**the gym itself is great. The equipment is solid, the staff is friendly, and the environment is motivating. I highly recommend the workout experience. But it’s way past time to get the locker room situation fixed. Members deserve better.

Came as a visitor from out of state. Got up there and forgot my ID but had a picture of it. Drove 30 minutes to get there was really excited to try out this gym as it looked really cool from the pictures. I get to the counter start the check-in process with a really nice blonde girl And then a brown, headed girl who was rude as hell was eating at the counter, talking with yogurt in her mouth told me I couldn’t try it out because I didn’t have a physical copy of my ID and it was their strictest policy. She was very rude. so if you’re looking to try out this gym, I definitely wouldn’t go to this location. They’re not very friendly. Management should probably reconsider who they have working the front desk.

"Unhappy with billing" was the reason they gave for my cancellation.
Gym is fine, you get what you pay for. Crowded and not top of the line equipment. There is a reason they have so many Better Business Bureau complains and it isn't BBB accredited. Like any bro gym, it is cheap and leaving it is a total pain. I'll add my experience to the other experiences shared.
First off, you have to up your membership for access to the "babe cave" that always bugged me because safety for women shouldn't be monetized. I'm sure they aren't thinking about it like that but that alone says something.
Here is my experience: I did personal training with a trainer I really loved. However, when that trainer was "no longer available" I told them I wanted to quit the training part. I still wanted to be a gym member just didn't want to do training anymore. It took me a while to get comfortable in the bro setting and I didn't want to start over.
They told me that because this was a "unique situation" they would waive my cancellation fees. They apparently didn't though because looking into my credit card summary I noticed I had continued to be charged. I called the gym and asked them to stop charging and I disputed the charges on my credit card. The gym agreed it was an error on their part and stopped charging additional monthly training fees.
Collections started calling me. They said I owed the 3 months that I had disputed. I called the gym and they told me to drop the disputes and they would refund me. I did that but only to learn they are refunding only 2 of the 3 charges ($440/$660).
Their reason was I paid for a "training program", not a trainer. That makes sense and it is something to note because people may not know. I know I didn't think through that scenario when I signed on. My only other training experience was outside of gyms like Amped so turnover wasn't an issue.
Regardless, I was told something completely different when I ended my training at Amped. It didn't align with what I was told. I asked them to honor what I was told and the district manager told me they wouldn't and they had no "notes" in their system. I told them I was the "note". That wasn't very compelling I guess.
At this point, I decided I didn't want to have to keep coming in just to get them to stop charging me so I told them I wanted out of my membership too while I was there. It is a shame because the gym is conveniently located for me.
I get that gyms like Amped run on these situations like the others detailed in other reviews. I wouldn't even mind them charging me a low monthly fee that I didn't notice. However, $220 a month for a service not rendered was a bit much, even for a gym like Amped.
Overall, if you are looking for a cheap gym where you get what you pay for, Amped is it. However, I recommend avoiding the personal training unless you are good with whoever and don't view it as a "personal" training but rather just training 1 on 1 with anyone with the credentials.

We have had many gym memberships over the years and Amped, particularly Tyrone Square location, has been one of our favorites.
We appreciate the vast machines, the mood lighting for focus, the fact that they have two different sets of dumbbells, cable machines, weight lifting machines, plus mobility, aerobic, and turf, they really have it all.
But what stands out the most.
The staff.

“Babe cave”
Dark moody lighting
Cons
-You will constantly be hounded to get a personal trainer
-The “free body analysis” cost $10
-the “one time free training” is 30 minutes sales pitch to get a trainer and maybe 3 actual workouts
-You will get charged $75 if you change your membership from premium to basic within the first three months
-child care I hear sucks and cost an additional $15 per child
-premium membership includes “guest privileges” that cuts off at 8pm.
-if you are suckered into getting personal training just know that you can negotiate price 😉 contract states you must agree to at least 3 months though.
-premium includes classes but they have limited times and instructors available.

Just like Crunch, Amped now allows people to record with tripods. When I first got a membership, one of the main reasons was because I was tired of box gyms full of nobodies recording themselves. The gym charged me $40 fee (-dishonestly, and rejected to refund me or waive it, it also happened a couple more times, fees for extra $20), nor did they try negotiating or any customer retention strategies or anything like that, so I proceed to take the decision to cancel my membership subscription -and now there are gonna charge me about two more months (which is fine as I find a new gym), and hopefully do not charge me more (crazy amount of money for cancelation that I had not been told, but I think those insane charges that people in the coments below talk about is just for personal training) as I ve been reading all this pattern of how they treat people and charge you fees to make extra money.
The gym is pretty cool but some of the staff, specially the "Manager" (F. N.) that was rude and do not have any soft skills at all. I wish I do not have to leave because the equipment, enviroment and the place are awesome, but I felt I didnt have any other option.
Hopefully they have more competent stuff dealing with people and being more empathetic and caring for the individuals coming to the place.

Never go here everyone is unhelpful, they ultimately just want your money and sign you up for things like everyone else. They also charged me for training session they also don’t tell you about the $250 cancellation fee when you sign up for sessions. after I canceled and it’s been almost a year since I’ve seen that money refunded and I stopped going and stopped paying. I didn’t cancel that was my bad. But because I didn’t cancel they said they are still going to charge me even though my account is inactive… it makes no sense to me. Even tho they have taken a year to refund me my money, the way they operate is odd and makes no sense. Granted I should’ve cancelled and that’s on me. But why still charge me of the account is inactive ?

Pretty sad I pay for premium membership and there’s not one place to park ever between 6-7 pm . Not ONE PARKING PLACE available and yet they will make damn sure to charge my credit card every month . Half the treadmills have no media/tv but still … not one place to park??? Cmon now smh. The staff can be ok but this parking issue should get resolved for premium members somehow.

By far the better of the two St Pete Amped locations. Surprisingly nice selection of equipment including numerous Arsenal Strength pieces like pendulum squat. Only wishes are that sauna didn’t get shut off so early (often before unstaffed hours) and that locker room and parking spaces were bigger

Update 12/20/24 I sent in a written notice, certified mail ,to cancel the personal trainer and to cancel my membership. I also appeared in person like they requested on the contract and they still sent me to collections. I sent the cancellation letters in October. They held on to the letters and sent them to collection 20 days ago. They also withheld one of the letters and told collection agencies that I only sent in one letter. Collections said that they needed a separate piece of paper for each cancellation. Nowhere in the contract does it say you have to write each cancellation notice on a separate piece of paper. I’ve did everything that they asked. This place is a nightmare.
They also lie
Update! I did dispute these charges with my bank and I got everything back
Don’t go here. Do not get a personal trainer. Do not get an annual membership here. If anybody would like to contact me to organize a lawsuit against this company because what they are doing is a huge scam and robbing people. They are very sweet and nice, tell you everything that you want to hear when you’re signing up but Clay and his team seem to have an ongoing issue with being belligerent, condescending and completely unreasonable
I had to cancel my membership due to the two hurricanes hit us within two weeks. I had to cancel due to financial issues and losing my home due to the hurricane. They refused to let me cancel my contract with them. They told me I had to pay $700 to cancel the contract unfortunately repairing my home and paying my bills is my first responsibility. I was not willing to go completely bankrupt because Clay wanted $700 to cancel my contract. I even offered 300 to cancel the contract and he still refused.
If you look there’s over 10 bad reviews due to the same issue that I’m having within a months time to see if any of these people would like to be a part of a lawsuit because how they treat people is not right and their expectations for you to pay a cancellation fee of $700 or more right after hurricane is demonic

Just theives like the rest of them. Wife signed up had training sessions. After hurricane hit in Oct she canceled her card that was lost, which was the one on account. 2 months later she got a letter from collections, not one phone call or email to let her know card on file didn't process. The when she paid the 800 to collections they told her her membership would be canceled. Then my wife got a call that her account is still open amd they are still requesting monthly fees. Wife was told only way to cancel is in person, what a scam this gym has going. Like what if the person was in hospital or jail they just can't cancel and cont to get sent to collections. Or, God forbid they died what they gonna do charge the dead. Manager at gym wasn't helpful and refused to help over phone. I'll be sure to blast amp gym to every single person I know forever. Have a blessed day amp and the manager.

To begin, the staff was always pleasant, friendly and helpful during our workout times.
Stay away from a personal trainer. The contract has hidden cancelation requirements and they make it very difficult to get it canceled.
The general manager started asking personal questions and wanted personal health information after they were told that we did not want to disclose any information. General manager kept pushing to find out what was the personal health issues was, even after she was told to stop asking qnd had to be told that we would get an attorney.
She stated that we had to pay a full month of $389 even though the cancelation contract stated that it could be canceled for $250.
Managers will lie to you as your signing up and say that it is easy to cancel once your agree time frame is over. Do not believe them.
Once we signed the cancelation, she tried to act like it was emailed to us, but we stood there and waited for the email to arrive but never received it. The manager was upset that we demanded a paper copy. One of the nice staff members helped is get it the paper copy.
The manager was nice when we signed up and showed us everything and did the show to get us to sign up, unfortunately the general manager turns mean and nasty when you cancel.
Very disappointed that this is way corporate wants them to treat customers.

Just overheard them dress code a young lady in a sports bra. I have been here many times with my boyfriend who often works out shirtless and there has never been a problem. I have also been in here in a sports bra a few times and there was never an issue. I think this is ridiculous and a sports bra is definitely appropriate gym attire. I’ve tried cancelling my membership here and they make it impossible so I hope this at least deters other people from coming here.

This place is way too overcrowded and it's hard to get on machines. Lots of people with zero self awareness to space or hogging machines.
They should consider raising monthly rates to weed out some of these younger people. They can go to Planet Fitness while this place would be cleaner and easier to work out at. If it doesn't change soon then I'll leave for somewhere else.

Honestly, the worst gym I have ever been apart of. I sent in a formal cancellation email and called and was told I need to come “in person” to cancel. As someone that has managed multiple gym studios this policy is very dated. Also, legally with a written form of cancellation should be accepted instead of having to waste my entire lunch to come during business hours on my lunch break.

Was a member for about 6 months. I have no complaints about any of the staff. They were all very kind. It is a cheaper gym than others in the area-so you get what you pay for. Gym is almost always over crowded, dirty, and definitely appeals to a younger demographic. Childcare is lackluster-again, you get what you pay for. Cancelled my membership by going in and putting a 30 day notice in-the gentleman that helped me was nice and made the process easy. If you are looking for a clean, spacious gym, this is not it.

Signed up for personal training and requested a female trainer. First and second session were canceled by the trainer, the gym failed to schedule subsequent sessions with a female trainer, and now there isn’t another female to schedule with. Amped is unable to uphold their end of the contract.
I called and asked Patrick (the salesman), Morgan the manager, and Mak the district “manager” about canceling due to the fact that none of the services were utilized and now we have been displaced by the storm and I am unable to reschedule.
NEVER used any of the training sessions but was still charged in full and was threatened with a $250 cancellation fee. The alternative is to have my final monthly fee of $110 drafted since it’s more cost efficient than paying the cancellation fee. Never mind the fact that they’ve already taken money they aren’t entitled to.
Again, never used the services. Paid in full. Unable to cancel. This gym is a scam and if you read the reviews, it’s obvious.
Overall, the interactions with the above mentioned people are indicative of how this business operates.

Surprise Fees: What I Wish I Knew Before Joining
Before joining Amped, I was debating between Amped and Crunch. I visited both clubs, and since neither had an enrollment fee, I decided to go with Amped. Little did I know, I would later be charged a $50 'annual fee', despite the membership being month-to-month. They simply renamed the enrollment fee to annual fee. Be cautious, and don’t get caught off guard like I did.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve been a member at amped for 3 years and it has steadily got worse and worse over the years. The locker room situation is disgusting and filled with filth. Every locker is also filthy and has gum stuck in a bunch of them or leftover underwear. Wanted to also mention the male cleaners would go into the women’s locker room without any sort of warning making a lot of the females uncomfortable including my girlfriend. I Have noted this with the manager and a couple of the front desk employees but no one seems take any interest for my concerns. I have finally canceled my membership after all the ignored complaints and how ratchet this gym has become.

I visited this gym first on 9/9 with our 3-year-old son, hoping to find a safe place for him to interact with other children. He's supposed to start preschool soon, so we saw this opportunity as a "baby step" since he's been cared for solely at home since birth. I expressed that my primary concern is/was the wellbeing of our child, not my workout. There is no "trial period" for this gym, so I was urged to sign up on the spot for him to be left in the childcare room. The first day went okay, though he was crying when I picked him up. On the second day, 9/10, I was told after 30 minutes that I was needed in the childcare room. I rushed there to find my child crying and shaken because he was beat up by older children per the childcare provider. I was told to bring him back on days that there are less children. My husband and I found the incident and (especially) the response on 9/11 to be completely unacceptable. I cancelled my membership on 9/12. When I asked for camera footage of the incident, I was ignored. When I asked whether the Florida statutes for minimum number of childcare providers was being adhered to on 9/10, I was ignored. What was made VERY clear is that I would be charged ~$80 next month. Our child is now afraid of being dropped off other children. Though we have joined another gym with excellent childcare, he is distraught when being left in their care. After I explained what happened to him at Amped, they have been very patient and he's always happy when I pick him up. I joined Amped in hopes of getting him ready for preschool while I worked out and we've taken a HUGE step back. I regret ever coming here. The gym itself is fine, but if you have small children (especially if they are shy/timid), I would urge you to consider safer alternatives.

I visited this gym for the first time today, hoping to get a feel for the place and brought my son along to see it with me. Surprisingly, he wasn’t allowed in, even though he would have stayed by my side the entire time without using any equipment. Gives them lots of love so that us parents can work out with peace of mind; whenever a baby or tot is having a hard time at the gym she helps soothe them/doesn’t let them cry, so mom and dad can disappear and workout in peace. The gym itself is nice, but be sure to get everything they tell you in writing! My husband was a member for a year, and signed up specifically so our teen son could work out - he *had* to sign up under an adult. When they signed up, we made sure any adult could attend with him as his "chaperone", not just my husband. For a full year, my son was allowed to work out with any adult present, with no issues at all. Suddenly, at the one year mark, he was denied entry unless my husband was present with him to sign him in. Since this won't work for our family schedule, I cancelled both memberships. Conveniently, it happens that both were up for their annual renewal, and since there is a 30-day cancellation policy, the fee must be paid. Staff was unwilling to budge ("it's our policy") and was genuinely unconcerned with either keeping our business or being reasonable with the fee. Everything when we signed up was verbal or digital, so there is no recourse. Be sure to either asked for printed copies of everything, and make sure what is printed is in line with what they tell you!
