Haven't become a fan of this establishment. The staff are generically friendly. The facility & equipment are showing extensive need of repair. Particularly, the ventilation does not seem efficient for this type of clientele. There have been a few occasions where I overheated with minimal effort. In addition, patrons can be rude and seldom pick up after themselves. With all the nearby competition, especially in Lakewood Ranch; the owner's need to step up their game.

Because, if this were a flagship location for the Anytime Fitness brand; I certainly would recommend another.

Awful gym and experience here. The members are great, the manager/owner is extremely rude and was having a bad day. He likes to yell at members and chase after them when they walk away from his business. Cleanliness is not a priority here, there aren’t even paper towels or properly working hand dryers in the restrooms. Skip this place and go somewhere else.

5 stars isn’t enough. This is the best gym I’ve been to! The owner is awesome, his dog is adorable, the gym has quality machines and every machine you could ask for , the crowd that goes here is ideal (respectful, kind, courteous, no meat heads). I’ve always felt safe here no matter the time of day I went. It’s never super packed either which is super awesome. If there were ever an issue, I trust the owner would take care of it.

With summer upon us it's tough for a long distance runner to train outside, not to mention dangerous for someone 72 years old. The comfort and excellent equipment keep me in tune for those Saturday morning 5k races. The facility is always spotless and the equipment is top notch.

I love this family-owned gym. It offers a plethora of updated, safe, clean equipment. The owners are personable and clearly take pride in this place. I see the personal trainer, Sandra, who is friendly, calm, and makes working out fun and intimidating. Can't be the price or the easy access location, either!

I go 3 times a week, would go more but my disabilities hold me back. Never crowded, never had to wait on a machine. Owner is very nice. Never a security problem. You should consider coming in and working out. Very reasonably priced.

Terrible customer service. I would never use this company, or tell anyone they should. They said they would be there until 630 so i showed up at 540 only for no one to be there. Then i left a VM. Turns out the owner just doesn't care neither do the employees. They tried to blame me, and literally lied to me. No one was there at this time and they acting like I'm the problem. I hope someone from corporate reaches out. It i doubt it.

What a dump! I travel all over the country and the only gym I have seen worse than this was in a downtown Chicago YMCA transient hotel. Filthy everywhere, empty drink bottles on the floor, broken equipment.
This manager needs to take better care of his facility. I am now driving 10 miles to go to a nicer one.

Almost one year after turning my key in with the owner I am still trying to cancel my membership despite being told he would take care of it. I live in another state and I am unable to go there in person. They have not responded to my email sent through the website requesting contact and cancelation.
Anytime Fitness corporate has been of no assistance giving me the run around and threatening fees and collections.

Be very wary of entering into an agreement with this gym and Anytime Fitness in general.

Love this gym... missing one star for not having any disposable wipes to clean off machine. I have NEVER been to a gym that did not have some sort of paper towels and spray or towelettes to clean off your sweat. Makes me concerned since I did not witness one person wiping off there machine.

Visited with a friend. Worst Anytime Fitness I have ever been in (and I travel extensively). Dirty. Worn out equipment. Ripped and cracked padding on many machines. Broken out of service equipment. Carpeting looks like it has NEVER been cleaned. Broken mirror. Only 2 TVs (one of which didn’t work). The bathrooms and showers are nothing less than disgusting! Absentee staff.

I've been a member for 2 years now and I travel for a living. This is the worst Anytime gym I've been to so far. Staff is limited and so gym is not kept clean and in order. Bathrooms are nasty and weights are scattered throughout gym so you have to hunt for weights of the size you need. This is also the 1st gym I've been kicked out of for bringing my daughter. Owner said because it's the slow season they dropped their insurance to save on cost and couldn't allow a minor WHO WAS ACCOMPANIED BY BOTH PARENTS in the gym. We were asked to leave as soon as possible. Couldn't even finish our workout. Totally unprofessional. Should've stopped me at the door and addressed me privately in the office. Been to locations in North Dakota, Virginia, and parts of Florida. This was the worst so far.

Anytime Fitness on SR 64 in Bradenton is without a doubt the best and most well maintained, clean gym I have ever been a member of. The equipment is over the top and the owners Andrea and Jim are totally on the ball with great friendly member service as well as plenty of experience to advise their members accurately. The positive energy when you walk in is better than you will find at any other club in Bradenton!

Joined a different Anytime Fitness before coming here and transferring my membership to this gym. Staff is very friendly and owners Andrea and Jim are on site just about anytime it is staffed. By my second visit both of them knew my name and they greet me each time I come to work out. Large gym with plenty of workout stations both free weights, machines and cardio. Other members are friendly and courteous making an exercise routine enjoyable rather than a race to see who gets what machine. The gym is kept exceptionally clean and odor free and equipment is kept in good working condition. I use my membership 6-7 times per week and highly recommend this gym over others in the area. I checked reviews of other gyms and chose to attend this one and have been very glad I made this decision.

Great Gym! Never too busy, great equipment, friendly staff, convenient, and very clean. Like a private gym! Much better than the low fee-budget-coupon gyms that have cheap equipment and pack in the members like cattle. No thanks...I'll pay a reasonable fee to have what Anytime Fitness on St Rd 64 offers!
