Thank u for not requiring masks in a gym. I feel its unhealthy to run on a treadmill wearing a mask. Im likely to pass out doing that. This gym was very clean and full of equipment. Great gym!

Ive been to a lot of anytime fitness gyms in tarpon springs, new Port richey and Tampa and this one as the best setup but I noticed members dont wear masks when coming 😬

In the midst of a pandemic as a nightshift ICU nurse, working 70-80 hrs a week and having moved across the country and not having been to that location for over a year, I attempted to contact the gym while everything was closed. Unsuccessful, payment was cancelled. 4 months later a random text was sent about being behind in payments and could not cancel my acct until I was caught up in payments. There was zero understanding nor was there a willingness to take into consideration the circumstances in which it was occurring.

I would love to share with everyone my experience with this particular gym. I moved to Florida with the intentions of having a great new life down there and unexpectedly my mother who has MS got very ill after 2 months of being in Florida so I had to make an emergency move back to iowa. Jannell informed me that she couldn’t just close my account she needed proof that I was moving and had to send her proof of residency back in Iowa. When I got back to Iowa I had tons of stuff going on with my mother and trying to find place to stay and job and what not, well I received a notice from bank that the gym in Florida was still charging me so I emailed pics of mail I had in Iowa and check stubs as soon as I had them, my email wasn’t sending the documents to where she could receive them I guess and so she just kept charging me even after a phone call with me explaining that I didn’t know how else to prove to her, thinking a normal gym manager would have some sort of sympathy and I did pay for 3 months without using the damn facility!!! Nope!!! She turned me into collections and now 30 points has been knocked off credit score! Thanks jannell thanks a lot!!! People I hope no emergencies happen while u are at this gym because all they care about is ur memebership fees!! Scum!!!

The place is great to work out but once you try to leave the gym is just so hard to be able to do so makes it feel like they try really hard to hold you back, you have to let them know supposedly 30 days in advance which it would be ok if it wasn’t for the fact that only the main manager can deactivate your account, i have tried to leave from the beginning and is a constant struggle that makes it seem like they just trying to find the way to keep your money which is really sad for such a great workout environment, really great staff but and a lot of positives but the struggle to deactivate my account had given them a sour taste on my regard

Will not go back to this gym again. Finished my contract and cancelled. Then they tell me I'm being charged a maintenance fee on top of my last month and can't get it back even though I will not be needing there maintenance. This is nonsense. I finish my contract and they still found away to shaft me.

Been a member for 6 years and have used their facilities around the world. I would give them a 5 star execpt for my experience in trying to cancel my membership with the Club Manager. They create unnecessary inconvenience to cancel agreements, only authority to cancel is by the club manager during business hours for M-F. When I explained the huge convienance with their cancelation policy, the club manager starting referring to the contract. They did provide the courtesy to allow me to cancel by Email given the fact I been trying cancel for 2 weeks! I

I've worked in the fitness field as a general manager for over a decade and been going to gyms for over two decades now. This gym is a complete hole in the wall. It's always dirty, there's never any staff available, and the machines are broken. The group fitness instructors leave the door open and blast the music when doing classes so when you're out on the floor working out the club's music is drownded by the music playing in the group fitness room. It's annoying and disrespectful. Every attempt to speak with an employee about it as ended with nothing being changed. As soon as another Health Club opens up in the area I'll be canceling my membership there.

I love the fact that it is easy to get into and out of this location. It is in a strip mall with Office Depot and a furniture store parking is very easy. I also like the fact that this location is nice and cool while you're working out.

There is allot to love about this gym. First, the staff is some of the best I've ever meet at an aytime fitness gym. Just all around good and caring people and very knowledgeable. The equipment is up to date, great atmosphere and always kept clean. Highly recommend this gym to anyone from a beginner to gym junkie!

This is a busy facility but a good gym. They have the free weights, cardio machines, Smith machine (for going heavy without a spotter) they also have a room for cardio classes and heavy bag training as well. They have trainers and offer classes too. I'm very experienced in weight training and serious about my workouts so I prefer to go late night because the crowd is gone and you have everything basically to yourself.

Moved to Florida three months ago. Went in to see about a transferring my home gym. Didn't get much help. Waited till my key started working. Started using this gym. It's filthy. So filthy I wanted to write corporate but couldn't find the correct place for that. The equipment was in working order and well placed. Nothing negative to say about that. But let me tell you about the shower. The amount of black mold was insane. It is impossible to miss it covering the ceiling and the the sides. You may get a little distracted by all the paint peeling or the exhaust fan covered in dust. It says lazy and my customers don't mean much. Suggestions after it's cleaned and painted. Hire a new cleaning person. Take the spring hinges off so the door can stay open when not in use. If the vent was cleaned and there was a little more ventilation would improve moisture problem. I now drive further to riverview because of this dump.

Well I was happy with the service, I have been a member this go around for about 2 years and before that about 3 years. They want my wife wants to join so I called and they want her to sign a contract and that is the only way they would wave the sign up fee for a referral. if that is your Referral program then it SUCKS. I guess I will move my membership now. what a joke!!!!!!!!!!

Having trouble getting consistent wifi connection. Can't earn points on stealz bc needs wifi connect to ID business I'm sitting in. Apparently can't do it via data connect/location. I'll contact stealz ... or write my own app. Kind of a rip-off anyway, earning negligible points and providing free advertising. Guess they don't need or want ad if wifi isn't consistent. Maybe has to do with guy in parking lot globbing on to wifi with laptop.

I have been a member for 3 months now, January 2016. The manager, Mary, is very professional. She is also very caring. She knows all of her members by name. She even keeps in contact via text messages when she sees that you have not been around in a while. She does her best to help you get the most from your membership.

The equipment is all new, as is the facility. it is very well-stocked with only a couple of machines that I wish they had but don't. I wish they had an upper body cycling machine, to loosen up, warm up and strengthen my shoulders.The rowers and the ellipticals are nice but not quite as efficient at working the shoulders.

Also I wish they had a full locker room. They've got oonly one shower. I think this is probably common of Anytime Fitness locations in general.

Also, they do not have lockers. They have a bookcase of cubes that you can put your stuff into.

I will be talking to Mary, the next time I see her, about having actual lockers. There are times when I'm carrying things with me that I don't want to leave in my car and I don't want to stick into an open Cube for anybody to take and it's inconvenient to carry from station to station.

The lack of a locker room is why this review is only 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

I tried to walk in for a first time visit to join. Two people in office would not get up to unlock door. The two way mirror on their office window allows light in so anyone could see through front door. Strange how it is not manned after 6p.m.
