Never staffed and made so many rules will be going on Monday and getting rid of the pass. The manager doesn’t get the hint to stop emailing people about taking her classes. If you plan on going after staff hours and not be able to RACK OTHER PEOPLE weights! Not just yours weight you'll be charged. If you’re lifting heavy, and you have to put the weights on the ground, that’s what the cushion mats are for to throw them down not put down gently. Also the sign that says we are always watching but its not staffed 24/7 is creepy so girls beware some prev can be watching. Paying $50 a month plus a charge in October to keep it yearly and your staff is too lazy to rack and clean the gym equipment that THEY CHOOSE TO WORK AT. I understand if it was a free gym, but this is not free, it’s an expensive gym. It’s outrageous the price. When there’s always something wrong with at least one gym equipment, if not more. It’s outrageous. To end it off their bathroom always smell bad and have hard water stains everywhere because the shower heads constantly drip water(that can be cleaned with the right cleaner and fixed but workers are to lazy).

This Anytime Fitness has all the necessary workout equipment needed to stay FIT. The Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. PS I'm a very active Pickkeball Player and it's vital to keep your joints, limbs and muscles in the best shape possible, so that's another reason I've joined up here.

Management approached me upon walking in, to introduce themselves and to let me know if I needed anything at all to just let them know.
Small gestures like that is what keeps people coming back.
So, on top of this super rad inventory of equipment, the staff is great too.

This place is a joke. New franchise owners took over replaced the existing manager about a year ago. I took off from training do to work study's. I go back on 02 September 2024 and the sanitation is horrible. All trash cans are over loaded. The bath showers have soap scum that's been there since forever. And the manager is drawing on the grease board instead of taking care of the trash and other duties. They increased the rate that got rid of the mirror studio for a few pieces of equipment. We pay an yearly fee for equipment. I will not renew my membership where planet fitness is half the price and the new IOS is way less. If you looking for a gym I would not recommend this place.

I immediately contacted corporate to cancel my membership after their aggressive confrontation and dehumanizing demeanor. I was attending another branch frequently with no problem, it's this location that's the issue. I went in for a workout and was interrogated by the person working there. She turned other patrons against me and would not give me her name because she didn't want to be held accountable for her actions. Absolute malicious treatment. STAY AWAY! I turned around and left to go to the Weeki Wachee location where they have been kind. The manager needs to reflect on her personal issues and not take them out on gym members. They have their own clique and welcome others with vile rudeness and mistreatment. Don't believe that they claim the high ground it's a fabrication to save face. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Because my gym closed, I had go to Anytime Fitness. From the very first day, I was not very happy with the facility. It's a nice enough place, clean and well lighted with a variety of equipment (which I won't use), but if you have questions, or need help, there are no managers around or available. The office is usually closed. What if there was a medical emergency with one of the members? I go 3 times a week, sometimes more, and I have yet to see a manager. I use the facility because I am on a physical therapy regime. Otherwise, I would not.

My previous gym closed so I went to Anytime last week. Marenia welcomed me and even waived the start up fee due to the circumstances. The gym isn't as big as my previous, but it has all the equipment I need and everything is in good working order. I also like the lighting - I can use the elliptical or treadmill while facing the big windows.

I was surprised to learn that my local suddenly closed with no notice so I had to find another gym quickly. I visited two other local gyms and chose Anytime Fitness. My decision was mainly based on the two staff members who greeted me and gave me all the information that I needed. Crislin and Marenia sealed the deal with their friendliness and smiling faces. So all of my Focus Fit friends come on over you'll be glad you did! 🙂

My girlfriend and I just moved into the area. PF isn't in this area so we had to switch gyms. We figured this was the closest thing to PF so we would look into joining. We looked up on the website that said we can get a free workout session to try out the place. Once we signed up and went to the gym we walked inside and didn't see any staff . The young man who came out and addressed us was plenty polite but he informed us that the owner of this gym "doesn't normally participate in the free trial workout." (Why would they it's only on their website).
Then he told us that if we wanted to get a full workout we would have to come back tomorrow somtime and at that point they would let us try out the gym without a time restriction since the manager was leaving soon. We left out of there went 30 seconds down the road and talked to the nice girl behind the desk at focusfit the prices they have are half of anytime the contract is month to month and so within 10 mins of us walking through the door we were signed up and working out. I guess there was a reason there were 3 people at anytime and 20 people at focusfit. If they would have just been happy to have new customers and let us try out the gym we would have probably signed up but they did not seem interested in new members so. I'm enjoying their competition instead.

Visited but cannot afford the cost of $50 a month. I found the trainer to be very nice and they have a bag which I need for kickboxing! I am sad that my previous gym charged me 25$ a year under my insurance for unlimited access. 😫I am stilll looking for a gym nearby with the equipment I need and an easier payment for my limited income!

Very clean and well maintained. Staff seems friendly. Problems include only one recumbent bike which I need for physical therapy. I end up lucky to get it 2 days a week. Some girl sitting on the leg extension machine for hours texting and doing 3 reps every 5 minutes with no weights. Several guys doing the one hour six pack theory on the ab machine. Today one guy did 8 reps of six while I waited. I gave up and left. Happens at least twice a week. Then there are people sitting on various machines having conversations with friends. Frustrating...

We have been coming here for a long time. Key card doesn’t work- u have to scan your key several times. I’ve seen several others having to do the same for week! The leg extension cable has been broken for weeks. Management must not be to concerned watching their customers leave here to go to surrounding gyms in the area! Fix the equipment we pay to use!

Beware Anytime Fitness of Brooksville. A lawsuit is pending against them for their daytime manager, Scotty, who could not even make it in the National Guard who actually stalks people and maked sure that they don't leave a mess in the bathroom. And if he finds even a little protein powder on the sink he highly exaggerates it to the franchise owner who will terminate your membership. They act more like a "Whites Only" social club. This will not stand before a judge in any Court of law. You are better off with a membership at YouFit in Brooksville.

If I could give them zero Stars I would. I am a little bit late in posting this but I wanted everyone to know how this location treats its customers. I requested to have my account canceled because of covid. The person on the phone assured me that my account was canceled. They continued billing my account every month even though they said they would cancel my account. When I discovered this I brought it to their attention and they said there was nothing they could do. They I had no record of my account being canceled. Watch your bank account closely. They can't be trusted

Great gym tons of equipment, the person who runs it is very knowledgeable. I deducted a star because you have to time your workout to miss the weight lifting moaners. You can have a headset on volume full blast and still hear these guys.

Back in the middle of December I started going to Anytime Fitness. I knew I wanted a personal trainer and I saw Leah working with 2 different people and really liked how Leah was with her clients. I have been working with Leah for six weeks and I have nothing but great things to say about her. Leah is very professional, attentive, and focused on getting my entire body strong, especially my core. I have severe back issues and Leah is always checking my position and is very encouraging. I look forward to working with Leah for another 7 weeks.

I've been coming here for three years. The club is well managed and clean with a friendly staff. Personal instruction is caring, professional and highly effective. One of the pluses is that it is not overly busy in the afternoons, and there is a wife range of people using the gym. We have everyone from beginners to seniors, and serious users. Worth looking into joining. I would like to get here more often. It's something of a comfortable place to be.

Helpful staff, clean facility and great atmosphere. When my home location switched from a different branch, the automatic renewal portion of my annual bill turned off. To say it was a surprise to wave my fob and be denied access would be an understatement. Mike handled the situation quickly and with poise; in no time flat everything was squared away. I definitely recommend Anytime Fitness in general to my friends, and the Brooksville location in particular. Great job guys!

I would absolutely recommend this gym to any one in search of a new gym! I am new to the area, and I felt right at home within Anytime Fitness. I was lead to believe that I would be paying a fee of 35 a month for myself and 32 for my son. I was also told about the yearly fee of 30 dollars but that wasn't due until April. This gym is very clean and has an adequate amount of equipment to get the job done. I started coming here because the one on Powell Rd is too small and too crowded to actually get in a healthy session. The staff at the Brooksville location is friendly and supportive to anyone that is working out. As with any location it isn't without it's negative aspects which are not the gym's fault but the members that attend. Re-racking weights and not cleaning after yourselves is poor public and gym etiquette. You'll also encounter the occasional elderly patron that will "rest" on a machine for extended periods of time. Other than these minor faults, this is a solid facility and I highly recommend joining!

I don't think I have ever been in the gym and not seen someone cleaning. They offer training, supplements, and multiple locations. I love that I can go to any Anytime Fitness with my membership. So if you want to feel better, drop a few pounds, bulk up on muscles or just want to make a few friends come visit! Keep up the good work team!!

Wanted to give it 0 stars. I've frequented many AF gyms and this one is the only one I've ever disliked. My membership was transferred to this gym after I started using it the most. Then without my knowledge, I was charged a "Gym Enhancement Fee" of 60 bucks. (had 2 memberships with gf). That in itself isn't so bad, but never did I see any enhancements. No new equipment, nothing. That was in April of 2015. They are now charging their members 2016 enhancement fees and still there has been no additional equipment added. I've even heard that the fees paid by members at Brooksville went to upgrade this same owner's Inverness gym. I believe it because This owner is a thief and I'm thankful my home club is with a different franchise owner and not this scumbag. I've asked numerous times for my money back, but the owner doesn't even have the courtesy to contact me. My advice, Anytime Fitness is a great gym, just don't make the Brooksville (or the Inverness) gym your home gym because you'll get robbed. Join the one in Bushnell or one of the ones in Spring Hill. (Very good franchise owner operators) Also, when I do use this gym from time to time, I make it a point to talk to people in the gym to let them know how they are being robbed.

I came in the other morning to inquire about the facility. The woman in the office was busy with another client so I proceeded to the restroom with my young son who needed to wash his sticky fingers. Just before the single bathroom door shut the woman from the office stopped the door from shutting and rudely asked "Can I help you?" I had to explain why I was there before she would let the door shut. I felt like I was being attacked and was very upset. When I came out she was still with the same client in the office, so she had to leave him to come attack my son and I in the bathroom. I decided to leave, I will come back when someone else is working in the office. I will only be coming back because I know Mary, one of the trainers and she is very sweet and is good at what she does. I have other friends and coworkers that go there and have never had a problem but I left there very upset. This woman should not be in charge of a facility, very rude.
