I switched to this gym a few months ago due to logistics with work. This is definitely my favorite Anytime Fitness in the area now! The staff and everyone here is great, the clientele is great, they have an excellent variety of free weights and equipment, plenty of space, always clean, bathrooms, showers, etc. What more can you ask for? 💪

I’ve been coming here for about 2.5 years. There hadn’t been a day in those 2.5 years where I couldn’t get my full set done because the machines were all taken. It’s usually full from 4-6pm, but again, never a problem for me. The app is also good at letting you know how many people are in them gym at any given time. Probably doesn’t range high that’s 20-25 people every time I’ve come. I do training sessions with Adam 6x times a month and his flexibility and expansive knowledge helps change up my routine. Whether it’s training for a 5k, toning, heavy lifting, Adam can mix it up. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to join q gym that isn’t a queueing line for machines.

Nice, clean gym. Rarely crowded and I love having 24 hour access.
The trainers are knowledgeable and most importantly personable. All of the equipment is in good working condition and they have a ton of machines I've never seen before.
I workout with Adam twice a week and I get a complete workout in 1/3 of the time it would take me without him. He's always challenging me with new stuff while keeping my goals in mind.
I highly recommend this gym. 10/10

As a member from Dunedin, I don't usually visit. But I have been staying in the neighborhood due to home remodeling. This location is great - packed with equipment especially more lifting equipment than other locations seem to have. 24/7 entry is the best perk of membership.

This is an outstanding fitness center. It has an amazing array of equipment for everyone at any level of fitness!
The equipment and the gym are always very clean and all equipment is always well maintained!
There are always alot of people working out on their own and with trainers, thus the environment lends itself to doing your best in a workout!
John and Adam are always available to answer questions and are a comforting presence in the gym.
I was a member at another Anytime Fitness for more than 5 years, until I moved to Clearwater and this has my other gym beat by 100%

I was a member of this gym for 17 years, which I liked very much. I joined it prior to construction and received a contract that I would have a lifetime guarantee of no price increases. And about a year ago after being a member for so long I was told that the prices were going up and that would include me. I told one of the owners, John that I had a contract saying this would not happen. He basically said too bad, that my monthly fee would increase like all the other members! What an absolutely horrible business motto. I was happy to leave and go to Planet Fitness gym and get their Top membership which offers Much much more for less .... $10 less price per month than the new price that I was going to be increased to and so.much more.

The manager John is always positive and helpful. There are many different options of equipment to use so you never have to worry about waiting for a machine.
Make sure you utilize the personal trainers that are available they really get you on the right track.

I love this gym! I've been a member for slightly over 3 years. Very clean and excellent machines available. Is the perfect size and space for me. Staff has always been nice and friendly, and always willing to help. Coaching is always available. I've worked with Adam, who is a true professional. He is always making sure his clients do each excercise in correct form to avoid injuries. This gym has the perfect space to do your daily workout routines. We were member here for 2 years. The equipment was good, and was in a convenient location to our home. Adam the trainer was nice and welcoming, but another older male trainer, would move peoples belongings close to us, and when we said it wasnt ours shrug and walk away, leaving the stuff, and watch while the people frantically looked for their belongings and not say anything.We experienced harassment from fellow gym patrons, where they would glare at us and take all of a specific type of weights, not use them, and stare at us while we have to adjust. We brought our concerns to management and they were extremely rude, and threatened to get lawyers involved. So we turned in our key fobs and went to another gym. They did let us cancel with no fees.

It's a great gym equipment wise but unfortunately at this location, I experienced unprovoked aggressive and hostile behavior from at least 3 patrons and a staff member. I watched the said staff member/trainer ( An older slender small build white male grey hair/white hair) grab somebody's belongings - that included their purse, despite the owner of the belongings being close enough for him to ask first but he chose not to, and move them without consent and then set their stuff next to me and without consent.
I attempted to civilly and politely tell him that those belongings weren't mine, explain that I was uncomfortable with him setting belongings next to me that weren't mine without talking to that person first, and who they belonged to he immediately cut me off didn't even look at me and replied "I'm just gonna move them anyway" and then he didn't even tell the woman that I wasn't the one that moved those things when she started looking for her stuff and even watched. That was so weird to see a grown man behave like that especially on the job and that sketchy??? I mean he couldn't even just tell her?

I attempted to speak to a staff member about the aggressive behavior I experienced from patrons with a witness and the staff member I spoke to boldly and aggressively spoke over me and even tried to flip the blame at at one point, it was horrifying, disgusting and appalling That someone would handle things that way especially in a buanne towards a paying customer at that!

This resulted in me and my husband ending our memberships. I'm starting to believe that the staff member I spoke to about the aggressive behavior was the same staff member I saw moving people's belongings and got snappy with me. He did reply super aggressively and the voice even sounded similar.

After that, I figured if this is how the staff is probably why some of those patrons are that way and I chose to take my money elsewhere.

Also, be careful if you're a woman of color and I don't recommend going alone if you are.

Clean facility with lots of fitness options in cardio, free weights, and machines. Usual Anytime Fitness entrance 24 hours a day. One issue was that the seated leg curl machine was out of service, and the prone one isn't made for short people. I'm 5 '4 and couldn't get a good position on it. This is a problem because I recently had knee surgery and I'm trying to rehab my knee. Critical pieces of equipment should be maintained and fixed quickly.

I would like to document an incident of harassment that occurred at the McMullin booth road anytime fitness location.

At approximately 9:00 pm on June 20th 2024.

While completing my 2rd set of deadlifts a client of the gym walked over to me motioning for me to approach with his index finger as if I was an animal, shaking his head. He explained that management would not be pleased with me dropping weights. I explained that my grip strength had failed and showed I had cushions on the floor underneath the weight. I also explained that if he did “know management”. That the gym would benefit by having a proper deadlifting platform & levy for proper application. He asked what my name was and I politely said that my name was not information that he needed.

I continued my workout. This time even more careful not to let my grip slip by doing less reps.

It was at this point I noticed the man perched on the assisted squat machine with his camera out as he was waiting to record my next set. I did not wish to confront the man again and walked toward the rear door to stay out of the way of his recording.

The patron & I had no further dealings or exchanges.

At approximately, 11 am the next day I received and email from an Adam Schulman that “due to an incident between myself a General manager my membership would be terminated.

This goes far beyond a canceled membership. I would like to know what your policies are for unsolicited recordings of gym members & would like to obtain footage from your in house cameras for when I pursue legal representation.

I have been a member of anytime fitness since 2019 and have always been thankful for the easy access and consistency of anytime fitness locations. I have been to locations in Brunswick Ga, Windmere Fl. And Leesburg Ga. I have always payed my membership dues promptly and on time. I have never had an incident like this happen at any other location and am highly disappointed at the incompetence of the Mc Mullen booth location.

I would like cooperate to look into the matter. And eagerly await a response.

It's small, but I hardly ever see anyone in there when I go, including staff. Equipment puts you elbow-to-elbow with the next machine. I can't get used to the elliptical machines. There are no showers. Otherwise it's clean and the equipment is in good maintenance. I have a friend who likes it, so maybe it's just me.

Why am I writing a review for a gym I don't go to? Because the owner was kind and supportive. I went for a tour and the gym is laid out well, has clean, decent machines but I was looking for more bells and whistles unrelated to the gym experience itself. However, the owner was supportive knowing I was touring other gyms to decide, was not pushy and supported my getting started anywhere, not just there. He cares about fitness, not cash.

Love the gym! I switched to it a month ago since my previous gym was constantly crowded and I was getting annoyed every time I worked out, and it’s been such a happy change. I used to go to this gym for years, than switched gyms because i moved. Couple years later with no notice i seen a collection hit my credit report, could have been my fault so i called and settled it immediately got it in writing it was removed from all three credit bureau's. Fast forward a couple more years and this account is reporting in collections again. Very unprofessional and a great way to never get a customer to come back to keep financially impacting someone over 60 bucks that we handled and agreed to remove years ago...

It started with the phone call, Ryder was so nice and friendly over the phone. He answered all my questions. I go to La fitness, but wanted to try a smaller gym during covid. Ryder told me to come on in and he will show me around. He was very professional and showed me everything I needed to know. You can tell this is his passion and that he’s just not trying to get a pay check. I will be definitely signing myself and son up and maybe even get a few friends to sign up too.
