Been going to this gym for the past 2-3 years and don’t have anything negative to say about it. Great equipment, love the new look after renovations, and overall clean. Never too crowded in the evenings, most machines are usually available when I need them. The guy managing is also really nice and seems to genuinely care about the space.

Gym is OK. Needs to be cleaned VERY thoroughly. Wipes have always been empty. Sometimes even paper towels are empty and every member is using the same 3 hand towels to wipe machines down. I’m genuinely worried about Covid and MRSA bc of the cleanliness. I see the same tooth picks, used cups and just garbage for weeks on end…… Gym equipment is always a mess too but that’s not as scary as sickness of course. I hope this is able to be resolved ASAP. The gym is also never staffed during the hours it advertises online.

Don't like how they try to get you to sign 2 year contracts still. It should be month to month, should be the same price as the long contracts. Was turned off real quick. Plus there is a bunch of stuff that's still in the early stages.I would love the Hot Sauna....

I visited this gym for the first time today and had a great experience! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made me feel comfortable right away. The entire space was very clean and well maintained, which I really appreciate. The machines were exactly what I needed for my workout everything was in great condition and easy to use. Showers used to be great! The Clearwater one now has no pressure and can't rinse my long hair. I go to work after I work out, so I need to make it quick too. Then the Dunedin one doesn't have hot water after 5 minutes. They told me their plumbers say it's ok! Well, I'm not a plumber but I know when there is NO hot water! Cancelled and went to LA Fitness

My sister and I go to this Anytime Fitness location about twice a week. We mostly use the treadmills even though they are not maintained at all. The fans don’t work and the heart monitors don’t work. So, I believe there may be one treadmill where both the fan and heart monitor work. We are in our 80’s and need both the fan and the heart monitor. They always are extremely dusty even before they started renovating the club. They have a spray bottle to clean the equipment with paper towels. The overall gym has not been cleaned professionally before the construction and the construction has been going on for months. It’s amazing that this club hasn’t lost its franchise. We go there because of its convenience. I would appreciate a response to my complaints and a timeline as to when you expect the gym to complete the renovation.

My daughter moved to Orlando and asked the owner Cris to cancel her membership. He did not cancel it. She got charged he wound up leaving cash for me to reimburse. She paid $32. He gave me $30 in cash so there’s that and then he said he canceled the membership, now we’re into the next month and yet again my daughters card got charged because he did not do what he was supposed to do! I called and his phone goes straight to voicemail, when we signed up, he was very responsible and actually cared about the gym, anymore. He is not responsible and he does not care about the gym and he’s hardly ever there. I called and left a message because his phone goes straight to voicemail so now I’m gonna have to contact corporate headquarters to report this because it’s just getting to be absolute bullshit! If you’re gonna sign up with Anytime fitness, sign up with an owner, that actually gives a shit about their establishment and will cancel your membership if you ask to cancel your membership.

I'm so disappointed. I came back after 2 years to get back into my routine. I know they switched ownership and it shows. Equipment not picked up, tattered benches, DB, equipment. No paper towels but used microfiber clothes scattered everywhere.

I will be switching gyms (like so many have already that used to work out there under old management).

The new owner claims he's an investor. He should try investing a little time and love into this gym.

I'm from Austin, TX and been traveling with my family and love this location. Rhonda and Levi have been so helpful with any questions and Rhonda greeted me first time I was there. Equipment is great, clean showers and it is a wonderful gym environment. I've visited probably 50 different gyms around the US, Italy and Colombia and this one is awesome.

I'd give like a 3.8 if I could. Never overly crowded which is big for me, clean as well but does lack a dedicated feel as far as environment goes. I don't pay rediciculos fees and I'm able to go to any gym location no problem, the fob works everywhere. This gym is just fine and id say it's a good buy if you know what to expect and what you're getting. Good equipment, good locations, affordable and not over populated.

I previously had a membership at Esporta Fitness and just transferred to this gym. This Anytime fitness has great atmosphere and the cleanest bathrooms ive seen. There is also a great variety of equipment for the size of the gym. Owner is also very friendly!

Ive been to many Anytime locations and this is one of the best. This location has the friendliest staff and you can tell they take pride in keeping the place clean. Almost every time i'm there, there is a staff member cleaning or making conversation with one of the members. I definitely recommend becoming a member at this location.

Unfortunately my only experience was not good, due to a specific employee. I made an online appointment to get a tour at 11:30 today. I went there and it was locked and nobody answered the phone number. As I was getting home at noon, the employee called me to say sorry he had some banking errands to run. I was quite annoyed and told him he should've called me prior as I wasted 40 minutes of my life for no reason. Very unprofessional.

I was interested in possibly joining this gym. It isn't too far from me and I could workout there 24 hours a day, which is why this isn't one-star. But every time I called, no one would answer. Very restricted staff hours. Okay, so I called on Saturday morning when they were supposed to have someone there. I called several times, spacing my calls apart. No answer every time; going straight to voicemail.

I went to their website to check their different rates (family rates? military? student?) It's full of testimonial after testimonial, and big blocks of self-promoting information that I couldn't care less about, but evidently they don't advertise their rates on their website?

What's the point of going over there to check it out if I can't afford it to begin with? And why go over there if I can't get in because it's not staffed when it's supposed to be?

I am a Disabled Veteran who fought for my Country and lost a limb. I enjoy going to the gym to get a good sweat and workout in. This is how I Combat my mental health issues that am dealing with. Today, I was kicked out of the gym by the OWNER because she said that I make puddles of sweat while running on the treadmill. I always wipe down the equipment after I am done using them. My job isn’t to Mop up the sweat from the floor. The OWNER didn’t even give me a warning to begin with. The fact that am already loosing a limb and I still find the motivation to work out and give it 100% which results from me sweating too much isn’t my fault. The OWNER should treat Disabled Veterans with much more respect than this. I hope this review reaches its way to corporate. I am very disappointed in Anytime Fitness and the way they treat Disabled Veterans!

The owner of this establishment not only embellishes the truth for the sake of the all mighty dollar she will do anything to make a sale. when my mother signed me up as a gift I thought it would be nice if my wife enrolled also. However my wife works 45mins from the gym conveniently they don't have a fax machine or a scanner. she informed me at the time it's no big deal she can just begin with you as long as she maintains her bill. NOTE NO CONTRACT SIGNED. Remember I said she makes up the rules as she goes. In May of 2016 shortly after our member ship began we were charged a 50.00 maintenance fee we were advised this was an annual fee and it was unavoidable.
My wife and I were faithful members of this gym for several months until unfortunately our family was hit with a tremendous hardship we lost one of our incomes. Therefore we could no longer afford to go to the gym. heartbroken I reach out to the owner and asked to cancel my membership and possibly work out a deal for the money that would be owed for the cancellation in payments.
Instead the owner decided the best option for us would be put my account on freeze until we could get back on our feet. The membership remained on freeze for 3 months at which time my wife received a 50.00 charge for a maintenance fee. She phoned the owner on November 10th & 11th and left a mess both times desperate to get back the money that had been deducted. Finally at her leisure on November 16th the owner called back she then stated " normally this fee cannot be refunded but since I have been where you are I will refund you the money for the maintenance fee as you stated you have not used the facility and it hasn't been a year since you were charged. I will credit the money towards your cancellation and as an additional courtesy I would also like to give you and your husband 2 free months free. She continued to state it was the end of her day and she would take care of this on Monday and call me to let me know all was well.
As you can imagine I never heard from the flighty gym owner. Left several messages for her and called at all times of the day she never returned my calls. we never received a credit and we never received any months free which at this point was worthless. furthermore today I receive a letter stating not only has by account been taken off of freeze without my permission by I have been charged almost a 100.00 which is due now and will keep being billed until I pay 2 more months cancellation fee for the cancellation. So now I owe over $160 !! When I called the owner again today she was rude and condescending to me on the phone and basically refused to hear anything i had to say. She stated if you can prove you send me a text continuing the freeze on your membership I will add the freeze and stop the collection. We provided such text along with 7 Phone calls and 3 messages left for her to resolve this issue she refused to accept them.. And threatened to send me to collections for the $160 that i supposedly owe her .......so in short if you want to join a gym that tries to rip off members for the sake of making a buck. This is the place to be. If you want an owner who thinks taking care of herself instead of her members is the key then by all means join this Nazi camp.

Nice, clean gym where you can workout by yourself or with help. Have always been treated wonderfully by Maggie and her trainers. I love this gym! I am a middle aged women on a mission to feel and look better. I belonged to LA Fitness and always felt like just another $ to them. Their facility is not the cleanest place and I felt very self conscious while there as it has that "meat market" vibe and I never was comfortable asking for help. From the moment I walk into Anytime Fitness Maggie. the owner, and her staff made me feel very welcome. I recieved a free 1 hour training session with Rachel, one of the trainers, and left feeling confident about working out on my own. I also knew if I needed any help I could ask any of the trainers without the fear of being hounded to pay for thier services. The gym is bright and clean, and the equiment is like brand new.
