This location is permanently closing today. Which is a good thing because i just found out my service dog and I were locked out because he wasn’t on a leash last time we came in. Then when i informed the lady that he is a service dog she said i had to have visible markings saying he’s a service dog which according to ADA law i do not. Also there is not a law saying my service dog has to be on a leash. So to be locked out for those reasons is violating my rights as a disabled bilateral amputee. Plus the showers were not ADA compliant and had mildew on the shower curtain and walls. The shower heads were broke. Worst Anytime Fitness I’ve been to.

the manager is very rude the shower and bathroom had noticeable mode and had a non-slip rug covered in mold growth and bacteria the equipment looked like in bad shape in comparison of others location in the simulator area judging by the bathroom and other factors they don't do enough to keep the gym clean and safe

I’m a member of my local Anytime fitness in Louisiana and use them all around the country. This is perhaps the worst Anytime fitness I have ever been to. I arrived around 10AM and left at 11:30 AM on a Monday and there was no staff there. There was a sign that said vending items available when staff present. None of the TVs worked on the wall or on the machines. Other Machines had cracked equipment and surfaces that would scratch your skin. They even had items for sale that said to contact management about purchasing. I’m shocked that Anytime fitness allows this location to remain in their franchise.

I signed up online & scheduled an appointment at this location to begin a 12 month membership at 5pm on August 28th 2024. I spoke with Monica to confirm our appointment today. I get to the location 15 minutes early & no one was here and both doors are locked & no one answers the phone. Tried calling multiple times with no answer. I guess it was pointless & a waste of time to try Anytime Fitness. I’m going to give 24 Hour Fitness on East Colonial a try instead.

Gym: all equipment needed are there and in good condition, it has other equipment that you would see in CrossFit like; tires(only can be used on regular business hours), jump ropes, ropes, a punching bag, punching gloves, weight lifting belts, kettlebells. Wi-Fi is available.

This place is great while you're using it, but they are complete sham on the way they operate.

Last year I was involved in a motor vehicle accident where a drunk driver decided to use me as their brakes. I was no longer able to go to the gym, due to the severe injury and spinal surgery I had to under go. I went in to cancel the membership and was given a runaround about how I needed to send in an email to cancel my membership. I never received any response. I went back in multiple times to try and cancel it but I always got a run around.

Now they have taken the account that was supposed to be canceled and not only Continued to send me bills, but they have now sent it to a collections agency and are now trying to hit my credit.

I'm not sure what kind of operation they're running here, but I strongly would not recommend them based on how difficult it is to just do a simple cancellation. You sometimes hear horror stories of gyms and how much of a nightmare it can be to get out of a membership. I always thought that was just myth, but apparently it is not the case with this franchise. Avoid them if you can.

All week finally I found the right one is ANYTIME FITNESS I REALLY RECOMMEND this gym for people who like to go to the gym whenever they like if you go to planet fitness you will never enjoy it they close early on Fri. @ 10 Sat @ 7.sun @7 you have to hurry to go to the gym before they close I do not recommend planet fitness at all and they do not have a good equipment at all they always bother you with their lunk alarm it is too much annoying you can never enjoy your workout at planet fitness at all do not waste your money at planet fitness at all i have never seen a gym that offer slice of pizza for members you go to gym to exercie and burn calories and then pizza what ? It has no sense this is why i cancelled my membership with planet fitness and join anytime fitness really like the gym i really recommend anytime fitness is the best gym so far

Attempted to enter gym and my key fob wasn't working. So I went through guest door. Upon entering the manager with pink hair was with a guest and didnt see me so I waited at the table VS going about my day because im a memeber already. When she came out of her office, she saw me standing there and didn't even acknowledge me. No hello no ill be with you shortly No welcome no nothing. VERY RUDELY went outside with new guest signing up and proceeded to show him around the gym.

My first time coming to this gym when I made plans to start training at 4:30 am and it did not allow me access, when I go every day to another gym that is closer to me and I never have problems.

I had to change all my plans because at that time nobody could solve my problem. I have traveled throughout the United States and entered many different locations and have never had a situation like this, after more than 5 years as a member.

My husband and I loved coming to this gym! It is always very low key and everyone is respectful of each other. They have a good bit of equipment and I was always able to get what I needed when I needed, unlike when you’re at huge chain gym and everyone is using the squat racks or equipment you need. I do like the fact they have a separate closed off area for stretching or if you’re not feeling like being around people that day. A/C was always fantastic! Unfortunately we had to cancel our memberships as money is tight right now and we had started to build our own in home gym. Cindy and Kevin are both great people and we had a very easy time cancelling our membership with no issues. We will definitely be back when we can! Thank you!

Recently began a membership although I live in a different city. Have had no trouble accessing other (multiple) locations as I travel. I arrived to workout and was told during the first 30 days I could not enter out of liability on using machines. I was also told they are unable to pull me up in the system (I watched other gym managers pull up my info on their computers to gain entry).

I called anytime fitness to confirm this policy and was granted reciprocity - the support team called the “manager” who has been reviewed previously on here who still denied access despite customer support from corporate confirming I’m a member.

If you have any fear of facing discrimination - avoid this gym or location. While I only interacted with one staff member who is apparently the manager (Cindy), I feel uneasy about my membership.

First and foremost, this poor excuse for a gym didn't even have their license(s) in order with the state of Florida when I visited. They were operating in a capacity that violated the law. If that doesn't deter you from setting foot in this place, read on ...

Be sure to watch out for the "manager," a 70-year-old insecure, desperate housewife wannabe. She's pumped full of plastic, scribbled with bad tattoos, and unapologetically flaunts an unwarranted attitude stemming from decades of poor choices, failure, and rejection. Her customer service skills are nonexistent, and her ability to communicate is on par with an adolescent lacking any emotional intelligence or maturity (ironic, given her "seasoned" appearance). Her attitude is akin to that of a child who was sent to timeout for refusing to eat her broccoli at the dinner table. How she's managed to make it this far in life is beyond me. Then again, that might be the very reason she's currently "managing" a gym that can't secure more than 2 patrons during prime time on a weekday.

To any potential future business owners seeking a small plot of real estate, this establishment will most likely close soon. Be on the lookout.

If I could give this gym six stars I would. The owner and people who work there have a lot of pride in their gym. They are so friendly and this has to be the cleanest gym I’ve been to. This anytime never gets too busy, even around the peak hours giving you plenary of space to workout and never having to wait for equipment is a huge bonus. It has a wide range of equipment including 2 deadlift platforms and squat racks which is amazing for serious lifters. When I moved out to California, I provided proof of relocation and they cancelled my contract with no headache or questions. Highly recommend if you want an awesome atmosphere.

The staff is friendly, the equipment works (most of the time), but read the contract VERY CAREFULLY before signing anything. Due to a series of misunderstandings I discovered (through a couple of increasingly unprofessional emails) that I can't cancel my contract without paying $300, and without knowing so I had my contract extended during a period of having my contract frozen while I was transitioning to a new living situation.

Equipment is top of the line (Precor) and there is always someone to help if you have questions. You never have to wait for equipment and all the members are friendly.
