I love this gym location. It’s convenient for me and they have more than enough equipment and space. The staff is very friendly. There used to be a very pushy trainer but she no longer works there.

Note to management and cleaners- please stop walking around the gym excessively spraying awful air freshener aerosols throughout the gym. It is not needed in the first place, it is disgusting, they are too strong, and the smell lingers forever to the point of it becoming nauseating and gives a headache when working out. No one wants to breathe those chemicals in while on a cardio machine. I had to stop my workout and leave the gym twice in the middle of a workout because of it.

Diane Diane….i came in lot anytime after an awful day, my keycard wasn’t working, and I called and called the office until she came out and asked if she help me. Long story short, I wasn’t my usual self and she was patient enough to take care of my problem for the day. The equipment here is old, outdated, rusted, it's not very clean and it smells like urine inside. Its also hot and stuffy. Not sure if the AC is broken or they just keep it warmer during certain times.
I'm only giving a 2nd star cause the blonde lady that works there was super nice and helpful. Otherwise its really a 0 but that's not an option here.

Terrible gym. I moved out of the area and they will not let me cancel my membership, claiming I signed a "2 year contract". I was never told I was locked in for 2 years when signing up. Had to cancel my card but realized I was still being charged club fees. Then I remembered they offered me a "deal" by removing the setup fee if I connected my bank account to my membership instead of my card. Now I realize why. All around shady company and terrible ethics. Do yourself a favor and don't sign up for this gym unless you want to be locked into a contract that they don't even tell you about when signing up. Now I have to go through the hassle of disputing these charges with my bank. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I’ve been with Anytime Fitness since 2006 in Minnesota where they first began. I’ve been a member to various locations in Minnesota & Florida over the years & they aren’t all created equal. Elk River, MN was my first & favorite gym! 💙
This location was great until about 1.5-2 years ago, they changed management to save money but clients are paying the price. They took out great weight machines (abs & back) & cardio machines went downhill! Cut out Spectrum (amc, fx, syfy) to just basic cable (news, sports talk shows) I have become a fan of the Weather Channel when running!! Super Engaging 😐
Running on a treadmill sucks, running outside in FL summer sucks more!
There’s a bi-annual maintenance fee of $43 (April & October) but IDK what they are “maintaining” cause it’s not worth that and $43/month. I guess the Bathrooms are usually clean.
However I/we switched to Crunch fitness on 4th Street after almost 20 years at Anytime as a company. And WOW!!!!!
$30 something/month($60 annual maintenance fee) have access to a ridiculous number of classes, other locations and holy crap the machines are amazing, they have 2-4 of each plus a massive dumbbell rack, spans almost the whole building(used to be Stein Mart) plus tanning & hydro massage included. They have trainers for everyone and it’s super friendly & welcoming, I genuinely enjoy being there. I wouldn’t have left Anytime if they hadn’t switched management,I’m very loyal to businesses like this & I don’t like change, I liked Doug, Zack & the other guys, they were great!!! My membership doesn’t fully expire until 5/20 and my hubby still goes there for now, already joined Crunch, he just has to cancel. However changing to Crunch fitness is probably one of the best things we’ve ever done. Plus canceling isn’t easy✌️

We moved to the area a week ago and had a bad experience at the local gym nearest to our house. We searched around and landed here. Diane the General Manager was awesome! We were welcomed with a smile, she gave us a tour of the whole place and showed us different machines/equipment that catered best to our workouts. When it came to memberships, she was very thorough with explaining options and made sure we understood everything. The gym isn’t as crowded as the “big box” gyms and is well kept. I had a very disappointing experience with this gym. When I signed up, I specifically asked if there were any cancellation fees, and I was assured there were none. However, when I called to cancel my membership, I was told that I was locked into a year-long contract and would have to pay for the entire year if I wanted to end it.

Every time I spoke with the general manager their response was the same: "You signed a contract." It felt like they were more interested in enforcing the contract than in providing good customer service. I strongly advise anyone considering joining this gym to thoroughly read the contract and be cautious. Don't fall into the same trap I did. Save your money and look for a gym that values its members and their needs.

I have been a member at this gym for five years when I moved to Florida from Boston. This gym has far exceeded my expectations as Zach and Ana have created an inviting atmosphere always willing to help anyway they can. I love that the gym is never overcrowded and the equipment is well maintained and immaculate. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to get in shape. Having 24 hour access is also a huge plus.
