This is now my gym. Yes, it has 24-hour access. It's a price point higher than Planet Fitness and Crunch, etc, but the value of that extra price point is that this medium size gym doesn't get crowded, even at peak times. As long as you can do your workout in any order, this one works.

The location is great, machines are ok. Staff needs to be more cognizant of sanitation. Last week three (3!) paper towel dispensers were empty, whike staff was present. Consequently, customers will not and cannot wipe the machines after use. This is a CHRONIC problem. A staffer should simply walk around, say, once every 2 hours to ensure the dispensers are working.

Well, take this with a grain or two of salt since I could not find a way to get in so could not check out all the equipment and perhaps I missed what I was looking for. Seemed more like Planet Fitness with cardio and machines vs. free weights and making people feel good. Plus it was very small so I went over to Amped Fitness. Both were nice and inviting over the phone as I was wanting a guest pass.

I pay over $50 a month and the gym is TINY. Majority of the hours the same 15 people are there taking up 90% of the equipment, as they rotate between 3-4 machines that "they are using". Never have I been more disappointed in a gym experience, let alone at that price point. Total waste of money. My recommendation is don't join here, unless you know one of the jerks that commandeer all the machines and knows the staff well. Very unfortunate circumstances.

I’ve been a member at this gym for about 6-7 years now and honestly they would have to tear the building down to get me out of my membership. I’ve watched Chris grow from a manager to owner and he truly treats this gym like his first born child. The staff is incredibly kind and respectful, the gym is always clean, I mean ALWAYS clean. I’m shocked that in 7 years not once have I found it messy or unsanitary . Management /owners are great at rectifying issues in a very timely manner and are always around at some point throughout the day to ensure the gym remains up to standard for members and guests. Honestly the members of the gym are really great too. Everyone is super courteous , wipes things down and puts equipment back when done, I’ve never been in a position to where I felt someone was taking way too long in the showers . I guess the reason why I love this gym so much is because although change starts from within , having a caring gym with great staff who is always there when you need it truly pushes me that much harder to be better and do better. No one makes you feel inferior or stares if you may be struggling. Everyone is there to help. In a time where it feels like the whole world is against one another, it’s nice to be able to look at your own gym as a model for what all gyms and business should strive for . Great job Chris & staff!

I renewed my membership through April 2021 via check which Chris acknowledged and deposited. However, July 2020 when I felt safe to return my keyfob does not allow me entry after hours.

I called and Staff member checked and stated my membership had expired.
I explained I had renewed and she apologized and said the issue was fixed. However, my keyfob still will not allow entry.

I have again been denied entry on multiple occasions called multiple times during staffed hours and no one answers. I have left voicemail messages but no one returns my calls.

I know the challenges of small business owners especially in the era of coronavirus. But Chris please respond to your members !!!

UPDATE. Chris promptly responded to my issue and identified as a bad keyfob. I picked up a new keyfob at no charge.

Chris and his team do an outstanding job ensuring everyone's safety at the gym. It's up to each of us to follow through. We're all in this together.

I changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars because Chris and his team are doing an outstanding job in these challenging times.

Friendly staff. The free trial was easy. I ended up buying some weights from a friend, and they cancelled it no questions asked. Nice facilities. The main area can be pretty crowded at peak hours (and of course space is going to be at a premium at a downtown location anyway) but they have another area a few steps down the street which helps.

I frequent this gym regularly. The staff is always very nice and welcoming. The equipment is well maintained and clean. They do a great job with decor and have a good amount of real plants inside adding to the positive atmosphere. This gym is on the smaller side, but everyone that regularly works out here tends to be great at sharing equipment and being conscious of others working out around them. I’ve been a member of other large gyms and other Anytime Fitness gyms and this one is my favorite.

Today I challenged myself! I had the immense pleasure to learn more about functional movement, breath and Ice Baths at the Annex Training gym for FIRE & ICE!
This was the first time I’ve experienced this in community guided by the talented Ryan Carrol and Emily Zaunbrecher! Through community we moved and experienced our edges & fears and CONQUERED!

This anytime fitness is BY FAR the best anytime in the area. I have gone to plenty of other anytime's and this one has surpassed my expectations. The cleanliness of the gym even LATE LATE at night is superb. Not only is the staff very friendly but the management is even better. Chris is so passionate about what he does and it truly does show and reflects on the gym itself. I can't wait to go back and try out the classes they have next door that Chris himself said he would show me! That speaks volumes about management. Overall LOVE this gym!

Love that they are open 24/7! I took the tour before my back surgery. I t was very clean. They people are very knowledgeable and friendly. While Im not a member yet, as soon as I'm able to start my rehab on my own, I look forward to joining. They offer so many extra classes too. They purposely keep them small so you get the one on one attention you need.

The team really couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming, always at hand if you need any guidance or motivation. I'm giving Anytime 5 stars right off the bat.I am good at gut feelings and my sense of destiny was touched by our initial telephone conversation just before I had arrived.I was in need of a full scale gym and a place for me to get in touch with my shoulder which I have just had a second major surgery on in one year.Anxious to rehab myself I sought out three facilities that would allow for my Silver Sneakers benefits.As I entered the first thing I was immediately aware of was the scent.I opened and closed my eyes to make sure I was not in one if the essential oils shops across the street on Central.The young man who greeted me could not have been more attentive and professional.He quickly but carefully signed me up while handling a little hustle and bustle of some clients who were anxious.He handled them with stature and made me feel my time was valuable.As we began the tour I was very impressed by the members already partaking in a number of different approaches to fitness.I could see myself fitting in right away and my feelings of being somewhat intimidated by my physical challenge would be less likely to be judged.We continued to walk through a well appointed gym with everything anyone might need for their work out.No stress no waiting for a machine or a weight station.Then we went next door to what I like.That old brick wall look and that iron I saw told me this could be a life long deal for me.Everything I needed was in an appropriate order and I was stoked.Even yoga mats provided for the many assorted fitness classes of yoga and others scattered throughout each day.
I could not have been more pleased to have lucked out and found Anytime.And the fact that it is a 24/7 access is a total bonus.Going there for my first of many workouts within the hour.Good luck you guys .. you are certainly doing it spot on in my opinion.

Ok so this place is great! I was bummed my teenaged son would not go to the gym w/me. (He's autistic & has his quirks-don't we all?) But Chris worked w/ me on a plan to get my son in to establish rapport w/a trainer & build up his confidence & I'm super excited. This gym is great! It’s clean, they have an array of equipment in the regular gym side and so much more in the annex next door.

The classes they offer (free for members) are great and it’s a super positive vibe! The staff is super friendly and alway there to make your experience a good one. I love this little gym.

The only thing I would change is add full length mirrors to the bathrooms. Like hey I’m all about a good progress pic 😂

I initially gave it a three star because it has a very small Open area to work out in and the attendant was cleaning the mirrors spraying cleaning solution while it was so crowded making it even worse. But I decided to give it a second try on a day that wasn’t so crowded and I had a much better experience. It was clean and more room. Also The manager responded asking for specifics to make the visit better and I really appreciate that as it shows management is committed to making it a great place to workout. Thank you! I was there late at night and there were tons of huge roaches every where. Its FL so you see roaches in most places . But, in 5 years living in FL ,ive never seen so many huge roaches anywhere. Grossed me out, didnt stay long.

So worth the membership given how professional Chris and team are, and how well they keep the equipment. It's a small place but with a good variety of quality equipment. Always clean and nothing is broken for more than a day - if that. The annex (which I haven't used) is always active, offers generous additional space and a greater diversity of training options along with regular classes. It's a good community, often giving back. I travel downtown to this location, bypassing one less than a mile from me. That's how good it is at ATFDSP.

I have been a member of this gym for several years. I love the convenience of the location and the vibe with the staff, facility, and fellow members. The main gym is located in a classic/older building common to the downtown area. It is not large, but is well equipped and has been modernized while retaining the classic look with exposed brick inside. Next door is the annex for classes and personal training.

In terms of personal training, Ryan Carroll is as good as it gets. He is Chek certified among others. He is well versed on nutrition and a plethora of training protocols. He has a natural inclination to expand his knowledge and apply it to his clients specific needs. In addition, Ryan has a great approach during his sessions. He is worth seeing whether for a few sessions to get on the right track, or for regular consultations.

Small and cozy gym with big hearts. Been a member for almost two years and couldn't see myself at another place. The Zumba class on Monday nights are the best! That instructor is so fun and she has so much energy. The community boot camp classes are great to bring a friend to as well.

I've been with AnyTime Fitness for 2 years now. I Never took working out too seriously until I started taking the classes and even hired one of their great personal trainers. The classes are demanding and I've never grunted, sweated & pushed myself so hard. But after class is over and all of us are cooling down, you feel a great sense of achievement, plus personal pride that "I DID IT! ".
I said it once before, This all sucks , until someone looks at you and says, "DAMN, YOU LOOK GREAT! What have you been doing?"
