I would give ABGA 10 stars if I could. My daughters come twice a week and would go everyday if I let them. The classes are an hour long, and the most affordable around. The staff is absolutely amazing. The coaches are so patient and knowledgeable. Definitely check ABGA out, you won’t regret it.

We took our son to Apollo Beach Gymnastics Academy for a free trial boys class, and he absolutely loved it! The coaches were upbeat, encouraging, and really knew how to keep the kids engaged and having fun while learning new skills. The facility was clean, organized, and full of positive energy.
It’s wonderful to see a place that helps kids build confidence, strength, and coordination while making it so enjoyable. We’re so glad we found this gym and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend to any parent looking for a great gymnastics program in the area.

Who says gymnastics is just for kids? 😉 I tried the adult class, and it was SO much fun! Great energy, amazing coaches, and such a refreshing alternative to the typical yoga or gym routine. My inner kid (and my abs!) are happy! 🤸♀️💪

I don't know what happened, but this place is horrible and filled with nasty attitudes. The newer receptionist/coach is super sweet and this isn't about her. But everyone else is just awful. My daughter started gymnastics in the sunrays class and had a wonderful coach duo. Coach Kel and couch Allegry. They were amazing. Great with the kids and parents and very structured and consistent. Unfortunately, they both had to leave for personal reasons, and since then, it's been a mess. When I expressed concern about the lack of consistency, I was spoken down to and treated like my concerns didn't matter. The girls coaching are just so rude and act like they can't be bothered with questions. I tried to pull my daughter out a week ago, but was convinced to keep her in. Then after class yesterday, my sister in law had an issue with a coaches attitude (which was valid) but some chick there called ME with an attitude about me having an issue every week. At that point, I was over it and very happily unenrolled my daughter. They raised prices just for their service to get worse. I'd try some place else where customers are valued and treated with respect and the coaches act like they actually want to be there.

Best gymnastics team we’ve ever trained with! Coach Tammy is excellent, the facilities are clean and safe, kids are encouraged and loved. My son has grown so much as a gymnast with ABGA. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed!

Wish I would have seen the previous review about the “instructor” being mean before I signed my son up for a trial class so hopefully someone can learn from my mistake. We had a trail class for special needs since my son is autistic and needs extra help, but this woman just bullied him and laughed at him for the whole session while getting mad that he didn’t want to do her obstacle courses. I emailed her afterwards to voice my concerns and no one responded so here I am letting the world know instead. I wouldn’t go here if it was the last gymnastics place around, and I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know to avoid it like the plague.

I wanted to share my experience with ABGA regarding my daughters' enrollment in gymnastics classes. My youngest daughter had previously attended classes, but due to unforeseen life circumstances, we were unable to continue for about six months. When we were ready to return, I visited the website to explore my options for attending a trial class, but it only allowed for new enrollment. I reached out directly to the facility to arrange for both of my daughters to try a class—my oldest had never attended ABGA before.
Our initial trial date was delayed due to Hurricane Helene, but we eventually made it. During the visit, my youngest daughter expressed discomfort, stating that she felt the teacher was mean to her, and she did not want to continue. Despite encouraging her to give it another try, she remained hesitant. My oldest daughter also chose not to stay in the class, as she felt she was the youngest and more advanced than the group.
Before leaving, I informed the receptionist that I needed to speak with the owner before making any decisions. I explicitly stated that I was not authorizing any charges until I had the opportunity to discuss this matter directly. I was later informed that a voicemail had been left, though I never received it.
On November 1, 2024, my credit card was charged for the class. I immediately emailed to clarify that I had been waiting for a call from the owner and to inform them that my daughters had decided not to attend. In response, I was told that accommodations had been made, including placing my oldest daughter in a more appropriate class and aligning my youngest daughter’s schedule to make it more convenient for us. This information was reportedly shared via voicemail, which I never received.
At that point, I reiterated our decision not to continue with the classes. Despite this, I was informed that the charges would not be refunded. I explained that this situation was particularly difficult for us, as our family had been dealing with significant hardships following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, including ongoing home repairs. Given the circumstances, I found it disappointing that the company chose to handle the situation this way.
While the credit card company ultimately sided with ABGA (I filed a dispute with my CC) based on proof of my agreement through their website, I would advise others to ensure they speak directly with someone in authority before committing to services with this company.
It is unfortunate that a resolution could not be reached, and I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve future customer experiences.

Visiting from out of state for 3 weeks. My daughter is on the competitive team in our hometown and could not wait to show her grandma her skills in the "Open Gym" day. Listed on the website It says "Saturdays- 9:30-11am". We drove 20 mins to the gym, had it planned all week, my daughter was so excited, just to be disappointed, along with another little girl looking through the windows of a completely empty building and doors locked. We sadly left and I did want to reach out so I messaged them on Facebook to find out that apparently every year the first week of school, the open gym on Saturdays is cancelled. They stated they sent out emails & posted on their social media. Although people who aren't regular clients like us wouldn't be on their email list or follow them on social media. We did plan on still making it for their next open gym since we would be in town, although I asked if it was possible to just have the small $15 fee waived for the inconvenience of driving there & back and my daughter being so disappointed. I was told they would not do that, so for not having any consideration for their website not being up to date & no understanding for some little girls who were excited for open gym, unfortunately you will be receiving 1 star.

The coaches are very informative and attentive to each child. My son and daughter enjoy coming to their sessions, and it is very cool seeing them improve little by little. I highly recommend having your kids join if you're trying to introduce your children to the sport. They have different classes for different skill levels.

After needing to find a new gymnastics home we came across ABGA. My daughter was in rhythmic gymnastics and didn’t know the first clue of bars, beam, or vault. They put her in a beginners and intermediate level class and in months she moved up and again this past April to preteams! She has excelled at her goals with the expertise of the coaches! We’ve especially enjoyed watching their space grow bigger and bigger and can’t wait to see how far it goes ❤️

I moved to this gym a year ago. As my daughter use to attend Jubilee gymnastics and seemed to be stuck in a rut, she has grown so much and excelled in her skills since she moved to ABGA. We love ABGA and everyone there.

Not a good experience. The instructor for the toddler age group has been inconsistent over the past year. So bad that I dropped the second class. And, two instructors are in reality more appropriate for a group of 3-4 year-olds who are still working on their listening skills, paying attention, and following instructions. Too much time was spent on one activity (10+ minutes), while failing to cover basic elements such as bar or beam bar on a repeated basis which caused the toddlers to lose focus. I had to ask each week if bars would be covered. If I didn’t ask, then a month would go by with no bars for the class. Several of the other parents also expressed frustration, yet I was the only parent to speak up. I asked the newest instructor last week if she planned to cover bars (explaining that it didn’t happen the prior week). She said it was in the plan. At the end of the class, I asked what happened to the bars. She said the boys’ class was using the bars. I couldn’t believe she instead played duck-duck-goose with the class in lieu of de-conflicting with the instructor for the boys’ class to determine when the bars would be available since neither class uses the bars for very long. Then, in the middle of gymnastics class yesterday, one of the owners calls me out in front of all the parents to inform me that “effectively immediately, your family is no longer a fit for our gymnastics program.” I said “okay” and tried not to laugh as I thought, is that “effective immediately” right now, as in, I should retrieve my daughter from the class, or is that “effectively immediately” after the class, but I shouldn’t talk to anyone on the way out? The entire episode was laughable as I realized that the owner actually did me a favor and prompted me to check out Jubilee Gymnastics. One of my friends sent her daughter to Apollo Beach Gymnastics Academy over a year ago and stopped going because she shared with me she felt the owners were quite rude and the teenage instructors lacked oversight and professionalism. Her daughter now attends Jubilee Gymnastics, and now my daughter does, too. 😀

I really don’t like to leave reviews but I definitely had to for this place! The staff/coaches are incredible. Coach Liz especially is such an amazing person & a wonderful coach, she does so amazing with my 5 year old daughter. I absolutely see my daughter growing with this place as she continues to learn gymnastics. Thank you coach Liz for all your hard work! Thank you to all the other coaches/staff for their hard work as well!!

I really appreciate the patience and how friendly the staff is to my toddlers. They absolutely love it and I know my son is a handful but they do a good job reeling him in. L O V E I T. We used to go to a different gym but had issues with the way the class was conducted. Here the children are given clear instruction and expectations. The coaches do not allow the children to guide the class and urged them to help clean up after class if possible. The structure but fun go hand and hand, its perfect for students who need an guided class but also to relieve some stress! We've celebrated our birthday here and it was the easiest, coolest and quickest birthday party ever for me as a mom and I'll do it again as long as the kids allow me. Everyone was happy and tired!

My daughter loves going to ABGA! With Covid and limited safe activities for children, I appreciate the cleanliness, top knotch, hospital grade disinfectant system, face mask policy, option to stay in my car and watch everything my child is doing on the closed circuit programming, seasoned staff who loves the kids and just an all around great experience for.my child and I. Would absolutely recommend it to all!

My two boys have been going to ABGA since they opened. In the past few months I have seen an increase in their strengths and abilites.
