I recently signed my daughter up for a trial ballet class due to her growing interest in dance. She’s on the autism spectrum, and I wanted to see how she would do in a new setting. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional throughout our visit. Even though my daughter wasn’t able to stay for the full hour, they made every effort to support and include her. I truly appreciate their kindness and willingness to work with her, especially since the company isn’t specifically trained or equipped for special needs. Thank you so much for trying and for making her feel welcome—it meant a lot! 💖

my five-year-old daughter has attended both dance summer camp and regular season classes at Astrid for two years now-She has had an amazing experience there! The dance academy is phenomenal. I can’t say enough good things from the owners to the staff and the teachers who pour their energy into the students and provide them with confidence and focus. It’s a wonderful experience for both parents and students. The recital at the end of the year is the icing on the cake for all as you can see it all the hard work out together. Dance has brought my daughter so much happiness and confidence in the past year. She was struggling with self confidence and this brought something to look forward each weekend. When she finished her first recital, she asked if she could join more classes.

My daughter started at Astrid Academy at a little over two in the winter of 2023. At first she was very hesitant to go in to class without me. Between the help from her teacher and everyone at the front desk, she slowly went in by herself and loved class. All the staff were very warm and welcoming and really helped her gain as well as me who didn’t think she was ready for the class. My niece has danced her for 10 years. I have watched her grow and improve so much so that not only was she accepted to every university she auditioned to including 2 dance conservatories, but auditioned for and danced with 2 professional dance companies the past 2 summers.

My young children love their beginning dance classes at Astrid’s. They also enjoyed summer camp here. I am very impressed with the way the studio operates and especially with the productions they put on. Their recital runs smoothly, one performance right into the next. Their Nutcracker performance is very entertaining - for our family with young kids, it was a better show than the Miami ballet. I also love that while my kids are at dance I can drop into Yoga Joint for a class right next door. Great location.

Astrid Audet Ballet Academy was the first studio we tried for our 3 year old. We didn't know what to expect, but with Astrid and Miss Abbey patiently leading the way, our rather shy girl was out dancing and spinning in no time. On the office side, I always had responses to all my first mom questions answered within minutes. I don't know how they do it, but they truly have it down to an ART.

My daughter said what she loves most about this place is that she gets personalized training, allowing her to improve where she is. The teacher doesn't have everyone doing the same thing: if you already know what she is teaching, she will teach you something else.

As a parent, I was really looking forward to seeing my kids in the recital. It did not disappoint. It was beautiful, professionally done in every way, and a really wonderful opportunity for any child to be a part of. It wasn't just a little dance on a stage; it was a full production! Very, very impressive!

We also got to see Astrid herself dance at the recital. She doesn't always participate, but we really loved this because you can see that she is passionate about ballet and dance, which makes her studio not just a business, but something she absolutely loves. She is passing on her skill and passion to others. This includes having older girls assist in teaching the younger classes, which not only gives them leadership opportunities, but also helps their own skills grow.

So far so good! My daughter started the academy @18 months and now she’s about to turn 3! She loves her instructors and she loves learning ballet. She is always warmly greeted by the staff upon arrival, and the kids there are all well mannered (I love that) . being a first time mom I’m very paranoid about leaving my baby. I was hesitant about her starting school or day care so I chose something that would allow me to stay with her, and have her interact with other kids. Over time I have gained the trust of the teachers that she is in great hands! Im still learning to let go, but Astrid Audet has been helping me transition beautifully! The staff is great! All the instructors are wonderful! The toddler ballet teachers are extremely patient and I love it! I PLAN ON CONTINUING MY DAUGHTER IN THIS ACADEMY FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE IN BROWARD COUNTY! It is with deep sadness and regret that I find myself writing this review. We have been with the Astrid Audet Academy of Ballet and more for 6 years and 95% of the time we were content.

Ms. Astrid Audet and her fellow instructors are phenomenal dancers and are very good at what they do. However, Ms. Astrid is completely unprofessional in her handling of situations outside the world of instruction.

She is very discriminatory in how she purports herself not only to certain parents but if she is dissatisfied with something she will take it out on the kids sometimes in a direct way but mostly indirectly.

We should not expect that an 11 year old can filter out topics that probably should not be discussed in a studio or school environment. A girl of equal age asked my daughter if she knew what the movie Dear Evan Hansen was about, to which she answered the subject included and was about suicide. The little girl then asked her what that meant and my daughter didn’t reply. The conversation was overheard by an adult who then brought it to the attention of Ms. Astrid.

Ms Astrid brought my daughter and niece together and when discussing the situation, did so in a very unprofessional tone, cutting them off and not allowing them to explain

I wrote her an email, very lengthy & detailed, apologizing for the incident & any hardship that may have occurred with all affected. However, I did not apologize for my daughter’s action as I don’t expect her to filter something she hasn’t been told to filter yet, meanwhile she simply answered a question.

I waited 24 hours, I followed up with a call
I waited 5 more days & wrote a 2nd email, followed up with a call same night.
I sent a final email terminating our relationship and asked for confirmation, no response.
I called the same night and left a message and FINALLY got an email.

You’ve been removed and won’t be charged.

The lack of response is completely and utterly unprofessional as a director and her team to blatantly ignore a parents request to speak because a topic was mentioned that she obviously is very uncomfortable with.

Think twice before enrolling, do you value yourself and your child less than the value you put on your child's instruction in the art of dance? they should be equal, but one should NOT be more than the other.

In this incident I chose to value ourselves over the value of Ms. Astrid's instruction.

What makes an academy great. When the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Our daughter started dance for the love of it and to help her overcome some physical awkwardness. Because the Audet Academy has an interest in more than your child's dance ability, they were able to transform our daughter from an awkward child into a dancer that was accepted to the Rock School in Philadelphia. More importantly, our daughter never lost her love for dance and to this day enjoys every minute of it. She has been accepted to a number of universities for both dance and academics. They instruct dance so well and teach techniques clearly that my child learns so much. The shows are out-of-this-world too. Plus the staff is so organized and courteous. We love this place.

My daughter arrives at Astrid Audet Academy with 3 year old, and now she almost 4 years old, and We can see such development, friends, and the best thing: she is very happy and enjoy all ballet classes.

The performance 2017, was amazing, we 're very proud of her.

We're sure that 2018 will be a wonderful year, and that she'll accomplish everything... she can't wait the next season.

Love Astrid Audet Academy of Ballet & More. It's an exceptional dance school. The moment one walks into the studio, you feel welcome. Ms. Astrid and her staff are very friendly. My daughter has made so much progress since she's been at Astrid's. Ms.Astrid is an excellent teacher and artistic director. She is kind, caring, and very patient with her students. She makes all of her students feel welcome and accepted no matter their race. Ms. Astrid hires only the best teachers to teach the dance classes. I enjoy the fact that besides taking Ballet, my daughter is learning other types of dance ( i.e.,Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Modern, and Hip Hop). It's amazing to watch so many students grow and become great dancers in a matter of months. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

My daughter has been taking ballet classes here since she was 2. She absolutely loves it! Last year she was in the final show and enjoyed herself on the big stage and the whole family enjoyed watching her.
The studio offers many classes to choose from and it's easy to makeup any missed classes. People that work there are professional and welcoming. The studio is almost 30 min away from our house but it's absolutely worth it!

I choose Astrid Audet Academy of Ballet for my daughters because I knew they would be taught the proper techniques of ballet, tap and jazz. My daughters have learned so much from all of the professional dance instructors at the studio and continue to advance throughout their classes. They have formed a love for dance! AAA of Ballet has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. She has met many nice young women and has progressed as a dancer. The teachers and staff are always accessible and have the dancers well being at the top of their priority. Nutcracker is a must see for the holidays !

My daughter danced at Astrid's for 10 years and it was the best experience of her life. I felt great knowing she was in a safe and loving environment and at a studio where she was getting the best instruction but without the drama and competition of many other studios. Everyone there worked together as a team and her instruction there has prepared her well to move forward with dance in college.

Astrid Audet is a phenomenal dance studio! Not only are they extremely professional and organized, but they have also created a family friendly environment where everyone feels welcome. I have an 8 year old enrolled in Pre-Company and 4 year old in dance and acrobatics since 2014 and its been amazing to see their skills develop dramatically over the last few years. Have interacted with many parents from other studios in the Fort Lauderdale area and none of them compare to Astrid's Dance studio in terms of the caliber of teaching and all of the different types of dance-acro classes that they offer.

I have been dancing with AAA of Ballet and More for many years now and I would highly recommend this studio to every dancer. To the dancer who wants to be a professional, to the dancer who comes for the workout, to the little 2 year old ballerina, and to the adult who's always wanted to dance, this studio is perfect for them all. The staff and teachers are wonderful and helpful, the facility is beautiful, and the environment is friendly and professional at the same time. I would 10/10 recommend this studio!
