I’m very happy with the club; my wife and I go very often. But on two occasions, we had to leave because the cleaning staff used a strong liquid to clean the pool and spa areas. When they swept the liquid on the floor, it ended up in the pool and spa water. My wife and I had to leave the pool and spa area because my wife has asthma and started feeling unwell. We’re older, and I don’t think that type of cleaning should be done when people are at the club, especially since it could be done on a Thursday when the club is closed. I’m asking you to please find a way to fix this problem because it could have serious consequences. Thank you very much.

As another user commented, they had also prevented me from coming in and documenting my "Road to Recovery" documentary. I had two knees surgery (Oddly the same as the other user) and wanted to document a video about my recovery and not to mention document my MANDATORY physical therapy sessions. Right off the bat we walk in and the lady at the front desk and what seems to be her "lackey" was already rude and so passive aggressive towards us and making unnecessary comments. When it seemed to be going the right way, the manager comes out of no where and was so rude. Literally THE worst costumer service experience I've ever had. The manager was way more passive aggressive, coming off condescending at times, saying very rude things. To top it off, he had also made up a fake policy charging me 250$(Like the other user) to simply record with a "professional camera". Goes on to tell me that people with phones and etc, can do whatever they want but it appears if you look to have money he's looking to take advantage of it. There are plenty of other gyms in the surrounding area, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

This gym has a lot of potential in this large building. The updated cardio section and class rooms are large and great. The problem is the lifting equipment. There's a random assortment of old machines from the previous gym (very, very old) mixed in with the worst brand ever upstairs, Technogym. So most machines I tried were hard and uncomfortable. The functional area downstairs is also disorganized, and there's an eerie abandoned vibe for a reason I can't pinpoint. More care should be taken on the machines and layout and energy of the spaces. Not loud music, but maybe staff presence and activities. It's just dreary and liminal.

Good luck trying to get out of your membership here if you ever try. They will continue to bill you. If you call to get out of your membership they use a different billing company with no communication- the billing company will refer you to the health club. The health club will refer you to the billing company. If you don’t have a card that works on file you will be sent to collections - once u consolidate that collections payment, they open you a new account and bill you again annually and the cycle continues. I’ve tried everything to get out of this gym to no avail be careful.

Went for a free trial today. The staff was really nice, and they had a lot of equipment, but the placement of the equipment didn't make sense. You had leg machines strewn about, and rather than everything having its own section, it's a smorgasbord of stuff. Everything was everywhere; there were very few cleaning stations with wipes in them, weights were thrown around, so I spent more time hunting for dumbbells than I cared to, and the gym was pretty dirty. I'll give it one more chance tomorrow and will revise the review if it's better, but sad to say this gym did not meet the expectations I had after seeing all of the reviews and the pictures online.

Wanted to tell of my positive experience this morning involving Iris who was at front desk. I had been upstairs working out on machine and suddenly my phone was missing. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. I ran downstairs and asked Iris if she could pull the footage up explaining what happened. Then I asked if she could go upstairs with me to call my phone. She did and to my shock, it rang. Still couldn't see it and we thought it may have gotten inside the equipment somehow. Finally she did see it (my phone case blended identically with the color of the equipment). I couldn't believe it was there because we both had looked but luckily she found it. She was very nice and helpful during this stressful experience. Love this gym! :)

UPDATE: I reported leaks, mold, and broken equipment months ago, only to be dismissed with temporary fixes. The City of Coral Springs did in fact shut down your pool recently — that’s public record — and there were no proper barriers in place. When I tried to cancel in person per your policy after years of loyalty, your managers refused unless I paid another month. I even emailed head office the same day, and it’s still unanswered. It took you over a month to reply here, and to now call my review “misleading” is false and unprofessional. These are facts from direct experience — not spin.

And managers who want to save face for it by telling you theyre now addressing the issues when you’ve seen all they do are band aids solutions to make you think issues are being fixed all the while they just can’t afford to do the actual repairs they need to fix the issue. I started a month ago and I have to say this has been the best gym I ever been.
Great machines, not crowded.
Madhi , the manager took his time to gave me a tour of the gym and I decided to sign up.
I love going to the sauna and the steam room to decompress myself.

Took a tour, loved the first impression, was looking for a decent monthly with flexible hours I ended up commiting to a year. Have been coming nearly every day since. Athletica is hands down my favorite gym.
The staff is amazing and the members are too. There is a lot of respect within the gym community which makes everything so much better compared to other gyms. I was worried when I started coming to the gym by myself but it has actually been a great experience. I highly recommend this gym. They have updated work out machines, turf area, and a pool. I tried to cancel my membership and instead of handling it professionally, they tried to scare me and assured me everything was “all good.” Then later, they filed a claim to take money I was never even asked to pay. On top of that, all the equipment is old and very dirty — nothing ever seemed properly cleaned. Management was always rude and dismissive any time I had a question or concern. The whole place is poorly run and not worth the hassle. Stay away.

If I had to chose only one gym to workout at in south Florida is would be Athletica. Without Athletica I don’t think I would’ve ever been able to start my fitness journey. I lost hope in the gym because I was going to crunch, eos, and planet fitness. When I tried Athletica everything changed. The atmosphere is amazing, it’s like a second home. Everyone both members and staff are very welcoming and friendly. They have a very caring kids club. I always see the staff constantly on top of things especially if there is a broken machine or if anyone needs help. They have very experienced trainers, I always learn something new health wise if I have a question for them. While working out you also always see the cleaning staff constantly on top of everything. Also, their prices are very reasonable for everything that they offer. If you are looking for a gym that mixes both luxury and wellness this is it! Don’t hesitate and go sign up!!💪🏽

One star because i cant give them less. Their equipment is subpar. Half of the equipment is always out of order. Monthly is way higher than any other gym in the area. Gym is way too hot and always smells. Locker room bathroom has been under construction for months. And the sauna has loose boards which are a safety hazard. Much better when it was 24 hour fitness. Customer service in this place is lacking to say the least. Poorly managed. Lack of equipment and lack of plates for equipment. This place is horrible there are way better gyms in the area for the same or less. Avoid this place like the plague. Eos is $10 a month with the same amenities and more equipment and weights. Crunch across the street in the home depot plaza is also more well maintained more equipment and also $10 a month 🤣🤣 this place is a joke and a dirty one at that 🤮

Took a few classes here with ClassPass and honesty love the classes. I wish I could actually sign up however a huge selling point for me is the daycare and unfortunately the daycare here looks very beat up and weird there’s a huge paint peeling stain (should br an easy fix) and when I went to

Loved the space and equipment. But things started going bad. Problems with the after-hours and constantly looking for dumbbells.
The new EOS gym has more space, equipment and don't have to spend time looking for the dumbbells because they are where they should be. It's well managed and always clean. Happy to be at EOS!
Stay away from here! I cancelled my membership and stopped going here in 2022 but Athlietica is still charging me.

Hoy día tuve una inaceptable experiencia en este Gimnacio, y fue la nefasta e irrespetuoso trato del manager a cargo, al ordenarme de forma abrupta y violenta que saliera de las instalaciones si no llamaría a la policía por “Trespassing “, la razón de esta irracional decisión fue porque me había afeitado dentro del sauna y eso era “asqueroso”, comentario que me pareció bastante desagradable y le increpé que no había ningúna regla escrita en el lugar respecto a esto, en forma grosera e irrespetuosa prácticamente me botó de las instalaciones y llamó a la policía, esto deja mucho que desear de las personas que están a cargo de ese lugar, yo considero que hay formas de indicarle a un socio de algo que no está correcto y en forma respetuosa hablar en privado y solucionar el impase, no por el contrario gritarme en publico y botarme de las instalaciones, lo cual me parece lo más anti ético y falta de tino de este animal que tienen por Manager, el cual me ha ofendido y amenazado cancelando mi membresía , hechos que fácilmente pueden causar o desencadenar una situación que pueda salir de control con personas que no tienen el más mínimo sentido común de tratar con las personas que pagamos por estos servicios y recibimos este Trato inaceptable y fuera de contexto de esta persona

I liked the facility until my experience in the locker room. Lockers were filthy and many with doors missing. When I was getting changed a male employee decided to walk through the locker room with a female while I was changing. I had to throw a towel on quickly and she just walked through the men's locker room like it was nothing. I wasn't the only one in there. This happened 11/5/24 around 6pm

Para que ofrecen cuidar a tus hijos mientras tu entrenas si no lo pueden hacer.....tienen a 1 sola persona al cuidado de más de 20 niños de todas las edades,,ella no se da abasto para todos....encima tienen ventiladores enchufados al alcance de los niños,,ya se imaginarán que desgracia puede pasar.....la chica encargada del cuidado para exaltada ,malhumorada e irritada....y encima el manager en vez de resolver el problema y poner a alguien que la ayude.....se exalta y no muestra el mínimo respeto por el cliente y mucho menos por los niños......así que piensen bien antes de llevar a sus hijos alli.....y a ellos(Gimnasio) no ofrezcan lo que no pueden dar.....

The MANAGEMENT has zero customer service ability. And, worse, the after 10 PM the MANAGEMENT and front desk staff is ABSENT...GONE! So then rowdy gym members have a private party in the gym at your expense! One person will bring her boom box and play it out loud. Another will start a fight. MANAGEMENT won't do anything about members that cause issues breaking the rules. Oh, and their camera systems either don't work or are insufficient, so don't expect them to have proper surveillance of their own location.

I had an excellent experience with customer service at Atlantic Fitness. I lost my bag, and Melina, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to help me find it—even after her shift had ended. I’ve generally had a positive experience at this gym and believe this is the best gym in Coral Springs, but I encountered an issue recently that made my workout uncomfortable. I understand that the gym’s policy allows members to live stream their workouts, and while I respect that others may want to document their fitness journeys, I found it challenging to complete my workout without unintentionally appearing in someone else's live stream.

What concerns me is not the recording itself but the fact that the live stream was capturing the entire gym, not just the individual’s workout. This widespread coverage felt intrusive and made it difficult for me to focus on my routine without worrying about ending up in the background of a live video.

I would strongly encourage the gym to reconsider how this policy is implemented. Perhaps designating specific areas for filming or ensuring that cameras are directed solely at the individual recording could help strike a better balance between respecting the privacy of all members and allowing those who wish to record their sessions to do so.

Unprofessional Behavior from Gym Manager

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at Athletica Coral Springs. My 8-year-old daughter and I arrived at the gym, only to find out that the daycare was unexpectedly closed for the day. Understandably, this was inconvenient for us as we had planned our workout session accordingly.

However, what truly shocked and dismayed me was the behavior of the manager. As I was leaving, the manager followed me out and instead of offering assistance or understanding, they began to mock and belittle me in front of other members. Their unprofessional conduct left me feeling humiliated and disrespected.

Furthermore, it's not the first time I've encountered this manager's negative demeanor. He consistently exudes bad energy and often wears a mean look on his face. This is not the kind of attitude one would expect from a manager, especially in a place meant to promote health and positivity.

As a paying member, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, especially by someone in a managerial position. It's disheartening to see such behavior from someone representing the gym. I hope this incident serves as a wake-up call for Athletica Coral Springs to reassess their customer service standards and ensure that all members are treated with the respect they deserve.

I urge potential members to reconsider joining Athletica Coral Springs until they address this issue and demonstrate a commitment to providing a positive and respectful environment for all.

This is my favorite gym. The staff is really polite but my favorite associate there is the maintenance guy. I believe his name is Estaban. He’s always smiling, very courteous, and this guy works nonstop always going out of his way to make sure that everybody is taking care of And the place is kept in tiptop shape very clean. Thanks to him.. He is truly the reason why I go to this gym and I hope he never leaves

Decent gym for the price. The lockers are a bit beat up but they have a lot of niche equipment that would be hard to find at other gyms.

The absolute best part of this gym is Miss Jeanette Jordan in the kids club. She is so sweet and reliable! She has been in that building over 25 years and has watched all 4 of my children in the daycare since they were infants. She has kids she used to watch bringing their kids now. She LOVES the kids and that is so rare to find in a gym daycare. We love Miss Jeanette!

The child care staff and Ms. Jeanette Jordan are great with the children and it’s a bonus to have this service at a gym. My family recently joined and we’re happy so far; they offer a lot you can do there from swimming to different exercise classes. Someone is always cleaning or staff are busy tending to clients. There might be a few small things that can be improved but overall it’s been worth it.

My husband and I signed up for this gym only to use the pool. The pool area has poor ventilation. The smell of chlorine is unbearable. We leave coughing and with our eyes burning. The customer service is hit or miss. Some of the staff is not personable. They charged us $10 for not putting the towels back. Nickel and dimming.....

This gym is horrible. I came with a guest pass last night because my gym was closed, and i instantly regretted coming to athletica. The equipment is horrible, i used about every back machine and they all felt and moved horribly. I left the gym after about only 15 minutes of being here and did not even get a work out in. I felt like i took some bad acid or was in a fever dream in here it was terrible i will never be coming back. The vibe in the gym was also beyond terrible, i’ve never felt this way in any gym.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I don’t live in the area full time but I would visit this gym when I’m in town. I made effort to cancel my account SEVERAL times before I left, each time being told that they would leave a note for the manager. I never got any additional communication so I assumed it was fine…that’s until I started receiving collection calls! The manager never followed up on my cancellation request and my account was sent to collections. The staff at this gym incorrectly advised me on membership policy and made no effort to remedy the situation. So annoyed and disappointed.

This gym by far is the most unprofessional gym that I ever encountered. I paid for a one year membership. They charged my card ever month the price of the one year membership, $299. It took over 5 months for them to reimburse me. At first my bank reimbursed me, but this gym sent a letter to my bank saying “ that’s the correct price and terms of my contract ( every month $299)”. I called countless times and was promised it would be reimbursed. No one ever followed up. I had to threaten legal action and still they barely lift a finger to address the issue. This place is being operated by a bunch of unprofessional kids. I ask for the regional manager to contact and she never did. I spoke with Jackie Terron countless times. After consistently contacting her she finally returned the funds. Needless to say, I canceled my membership once it expired. No customer should have to go through what I went through . They charged a total of $1,196 to my credit card and took months to refund me.

Love it here! Always clean, and never too packed even at ‘busy’ times. It’s very spacious and my favorite area is the HIIT room downstairs where I like to practice my calisthenics, stretching, and mobility techniques.

Plus, there is a huge steam room and a huge sauna, indoor pool and jacuzzi. You really cannot ask for more.

I attend Zumba classes here with Susan Ortiz on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:45 p.m. It is always a good time she always has very excellent choreography, and I love going to a class where the instructors love what they do and that's exactly why I enjoy myself so much.

I love this gym and have been going there since they first opened! They offer different amenities, locker room and the workout areas are always clean. The other gym members and staff are all courteous/friendly. But what I love the most are the Zumba instructors here!! I try to catch Susan, Gigi, Kecia and Maribel's classes as much as I can! They make working out and dancing so much fun. The classes are always full of positive energy, motivation and a good time! I can't help but smile in every class and have bonded with so many of the other students. Highly recommend this facility for anyone no matter what your fitness goals are (weight loss, muscle gain, bodybuilding etc...)

Decent gym with a variety of equipment and machines. It can get busy at peak times but with the variety and number of machines you likely won't have to wait. My issues with the gym stem from the patrons. Very few patrons rerack weights where they should go. There are often dumbbells and fixed barbells scattered randomly, plates left all over the floor or on machines. I witnessed someone load up 405 on a trap bar, fail to deadlift it and walk away leaving it loaded. The general disorder means people assume you aren't using plates near you and take them without question. There are no shortage of plates but c'mon, its not hard to ask if someone is using something at their feet. There is a serious lack of etiquette at this gym. Other than signs posted that say you must rerack your weights, there seems to be minimal effort from staff to enforce any rules. You can definitely get a decent lift or cardio session in here but prepare to endure the chaos.

I usually go to la fitness but wanted to find a gym that was more attentive staff wise and cleanliness wise. came in and did a walk around yesterday evening and was very impressed with the variety of equipment and overall cleanliness of the gym. It didn’t feel like anything was overlooked. David gave me a walk around and explained the benefits of the membership and all the perks included. He was a very helpful and answered all my questions.
