I downloaded an obd2 scanner app for my vehicle and a pop-up hijacked my activities without me even noticing.
The "continue" button led me to another page that I assumed was for the scanner app. I entered my card info as prompted, saying it would charge "$0.00 for activation fee" and immediately after received an alert for a $35 charge on my card.

This site is spam that robs your bank account and never even sends an email so that you can follow up or delete any of your info after the fact.

BASECAMP Fitness definitely helped me hit my cardio goals—and honestly, I absolutely loved this class. I’m so glad I found Basecamp!!! It’s filled a void in my fitness that I had been missing!!! I’ve been to several fitness class gyms over the years and, for me, this has been the very best. The staff is super nice, coaches are motivational and provide great feedback, and most of all, the workout is intense without being overwhelming. If you’re looking for a place to cry, sweat (or in my case, glow), question your life choices, and still leave smiling, Basecamp Fitness is it. This gym is like therapy but with more burpees and fewer feelings.Coach ABBEY (yes, all caps because she’s iconic) is my favorite human drill sergeant. She somehow manages to yell encouragement like a hype woman while fixing your form like a ninja. Her workouts make me feel like I’m dying and thriving at the same time.The workouts are fast, functional, and just spicy enough to make you wonder why you’re doing this to yourself. You’ll sprint, jump, lift, and eventually end up on the floor rethinking everything. And then you’ll book your next class because you’re weirdly into it.
If you want results, accountability, and coaches who actually know your name even when you’re half-delirious, Basecamp is the place. Just don’t take Abbey away from me. I will throw a kettlebell.

Starting up with this gym was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I stumbled across Basecamp one day when I was looking to add a little more variety to my exercise routine which I had only started a year prior consisting of only outdoor cardio, a couple of miles a day. Upon walking inside, I was greeted immediately and by such friendly people. I didn’t realize I was walking into a class based gym, being new to the fitness world, I expected it would like a Baileys or Planet fitness, either way I was not expecting a class. I just so happened to walk into at the perfect time for a class that was about to begin, so the coaches gave a good description of how it worked, paired me with a very kind gym member they tasked with making sure I was following along correctly & comfortably, and they let me try this class for free. All of this is to say I would have never been open to a class based workout experience given my fitness knowledge (or lack thereof!) if not for stumbling onto Basecamp that day. Taking these classes makes me feel so strong and confident. I go though the rest of my day watching my smartwatch and feeling proud of the strong start I had to my day thanks to this gym! Thank you coach Abbey and team for all the support and encouragement!

I’m 68 years old and cannot believe the things I can do now since coming to Basecamp. I’ve heard that at my age we should use strength training to keep up mobility and balance. I’ve worked primarily with Abbey and she has built my confidence that I can do this without getting hurt.

The progress I have made is by far more than I have expected to make in just a few months. When I started, I was unable to perform a sit up any longer. I can now do a sit up and I feel my strength returning.
Abbey has watched very carefully to ensure I perform the exercises correctly without hurting myself. (This is the attention you get from the coaches at this gym). That has helped more than I can say.

If you are looking for a Gym with great coaching, great support and interesting routines each day…this is the place.

I can’t say enough great things about this gym! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, supported, and truly part of a community. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, the equipment is top-notch, and the energy is motivating.

But what really sets this gym apart is the coaching team — every single coach brings something valuable and unique to the table. They’re knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your goals.

I especially want to shout out Amber, who has been an absolute game-changer for me. Her guidance, patience, and positivity have helped me grow so much, both physically and mentally. She always takes the time to check in, make sure I’m on track, and push me in just the right way. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her support.

I am definitely one of those people that gets bored easily. I sign up for a gym membership somewhere and after 3 months I'm over it. I have been going to Basecamp for 7 months now, 5-6 days a week. I enjoy the classes so much, I actually turned into one of those illusive MORNING gym people after swearing that would never be me. I love not having to think about what to do next, it is all spelled out for me and the rotating upper/lower/full body days ensure that we get a well rounded fitness experience. The staff is always happy to be there and they encourage us to challenge ourselves. Basecamp is always the highlight of my day :)

Alright, I'm here to say that the reviews are highly accurate. I've been trying to find something that will help me stay consistent in strength training and nutrition for TWO YEARS.
I tried OTF, other gyms, at home workouts and even personal training. Nothing stuck. It almost gave up and drove past base camp. The reviews were tempting and I decided to try out a class and am so happy I did.
Coaches are great! The atmosphere is perfect and the workout is EFFECTIVE. My husband is commenting on how Ive lost weight after a month. Give it a try because you have nothing to lose!

I am so glad I found this place! The instructors are wonderful, the classes are fun and always involve something different so you’re never bored. The duration is perfect, especially when you’ve got a busy schedule every day. The location is incredibly convenient. I even love the lighting inside the classes, which- for someone like me who’s shy and a little nervous about getting back into a workout routine- somehow makes it so much less intimidating than other gyms. Everything from top to bottom is just incredibly inviting, and their pricing is very reasonable. These classes are very well-coordinated, and it’s obvious the instructors put a lot of thought into how to maximize the space and time to offer incredible and diverse workout. Abbey is an incredible coach! From day one, she made me feel welcome and part of the family. It’s incredible how quickly she learns everyone’s name and always seems to be exactly where you need her, ensuring every member understands the workout. Her energy is contagious! Started Basecamp a year ago this month, and I can’t say enough good things about this gym. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile from the staff. Their caring and positive nature always kicks off a great workout! Their program is a great balance of cardio and strengthening. You are able to work at your own pace, with your own choice of weights that are safe for your fitness level. The trainers provide a positive, encouraging environment with lots of fun and energy! I started at Basecamp 3 months ago, and I cannot get enough! I have more energy when I start my day there, and I already feel stronger than before. The workouts are so much fun, but they also challenge you. I love that the coaches and staff take time to learn everyone's name. It feels like they truly care about each member. I honestly don’t know where to start about this amazing place. I came in not knowing what to expect and feeling so nervous, but I’m 175 basecamp workout in and never felt more consistent in my life! Just in general I feel the best I have ever felt and super excited to see where I will be a year or so from now.
I do want to take time and say how amazing all the coaches are and how they really push you in an organic way. They are kind and super warm and welcoming. It doesn’t feel intimating and they allow you to do the workouts in your pace. I’m not going to lie the workouts are super hard, but the more you go in the stronger you get. Every coach is always there until the last rep challenging you for another rep. I would highly recommend to anyone who is ready especially this location. I will probably be here for a very long time and I’m excited for my journey here.

I joined after a neighbor did and now there are 7 of us neighbors that go! We love it! The coaches are helpful but not overbearing. They keep things fun and the workouts vary enough that we don’t get bored. I highly recommend trying it. Oh! And it’s over in 45 mins !

I tried Basecamp at a pop up event and wanted to try it out for a month so I started with a limited membership. After the first month I was completely hooked and went to full time unlimited!!!

Basecamp fitness is an engrossing gym that fits into my life. The class schedule is diverse but has an internal rhythm. The facilities are always clean and well organized. Every class looks and feels like the first class of the day.

Three months have passed, and I am approaching my 100th workout here. Everything in my original review is still spot on, and nothing has changed. So many reviews are for a moment in time or a brief period, so I decided to make an update.

After being here almost 100 times, I still look forward to every workout. I don’t think I have ever been to any other gym with this many visits that I could say the same.

What brought me to Basecamp Fitness Fruit Cove, and why do I feel it is five stars?

Like many, I have spent most of my resistance workouts in gyms. I have always enjoyed putting together my training routines and have never been interested in a group workout setting. My wife started to visit various facilities, and we both tried a nice CrossFit gym that a good friend was a member of.

My wife tried a 10 for $10 promotion at Basecamp Fruit Cove and was hooked. I then tried it and was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed it. For me, these are the things that I would be looking for in a review of a program like Basecamp and this specific location:

Programming:
Excellent format, a mix of resistance training paired with high-intensity cardio. Most workouts are 60-10, 60 seconds of work, and 10 seconds to transition to the next exercise. You do an exercise (60s), then you do cardio on an air bike (60s). This alternating routine is what makes a short-duration workout so beneficial.

Cleanliness:
This facility is spotless. It is a new build-out, and after three months, it looks brand-new. The clean-up starts as soon as the workout is completed, and in over 40 workouts to date, I have never thought anything was not clean and ready to use.

Staff:
This is another big item in deciding to be in a group workout format. The coaches and staff at this location are fantastic. I have experienced an outstanding balance of instruction / minor tweaks to ensure doing an exercise properly AND a very nice level of challenge.

Atmosphere:
This location's staff and format have attracted and retained a great group of people to workout with. The gym always has a positive feeling, and if you enjoy competitiveness - it is there for you. If you don't, there is no pressure or anything like it. I want the competitive side and have had so much fun with the staff and many other members.

I live in Austin Texas and visiting family in Jacksonville, wanted to try Basecamp fitness cause I heard it was fun quick and effective work out, and boy I wasn't disappointed! Had the best workout ever today!!! Basecamp is the only place in Jacksonville that has finally met my rigorous expectations. As a former personal trainer for over a decade I have struggled to find the right atmosphere that also give me the push I need and the people I want to workout with. I love Basecamp! I joined after years of at home barre and HIIT workouts. The location and the length of the workouts sold me, but ultimately the supportive staff and trainers is what kept me coming back! Coach Krystal, Burns, Nathalia, and JD are an exceptional team who truly care about their members' well-being and progress. But that's not all! The studio is expertly managed by the fantastic duo, Josh and Megan. Their dedication to ensuring smooth operations and providing top-notch customer service is evident in every aspect of Basecamp. They are always available to address any questions or concerns, making sure that each member feels valued and supported.

The high-intensity workouts are challenging, but the results are totally worth it. I've seen a significant improvement in my fitness level and have noticed positive changes in my body. The cardio intervals on the air bike push me to new limits, while the strength and core exercises add a perfect balance to the workouts.

The gym itself is super clean, well-maintained, and equipped with state-of-the-art gear. It's a lively environment with energetic music and LED lights to keep you motivated during your workout.

Basecamp Fitness Fruit Cove is the newest HIIT style gym in 32259! I have been waiting (impatiently) for the official opening day and it's finally here! I was a little unsure of myself at first, but with the encouragement and support of the staff, it feels like home! I love the glow lights, the music, the energy and all the team! I had my first class last night & wow! The energy in the room was terrific; the motivation from our instructor & positive pushes from gym peers made for a great atmosphere! I also liked the black-lit room as it made me feel like I could focus better on myself and my form rather than others, or if I messed up a little, it wasn’t as noticeable to be embarrassed. Highly recommend!!

I'm so glad they are open! I signed up months ago and have been patiently waiting for the doors to open. I am loving the classes so far, they're challenging, fun and different every time.
