When I first started working with James just over a year ago, I was at my heaviest weight ever and honestly believed I would be stuck that way for the rest of my life. I was 57, dealing with arthritis, and unsure if any program could really make a difference for me. I initially reached out to James with a specific goal in mind: I wanted to lose weight and feel confident for my daughter’s wedding.
From our very first session, James approached my situation with care and thoughtfulness. He took into account not only my age and weight, but also the physical limitations I was dealing with. He designed a program tailored specifically to me—focusing on building strength, improving balance, and losing weight. The workouts started off simple and manageable, which was exactly what I needed to build confidence and momentum.
As the weeks went by, James gradually helped me increase the intensity of the workouts, always keeping my health and safety in mind. He educated me not just on exercise, but on nutrition and overall wellness. Thanks to his guidance and support, I lost 35 pounds by the time of the wedding and gained a level of muscle strength I never imagined possible.

James is a fantastic trainer, and has created such an amazing website! He never gives up on his clients and always stays positive during workouts. On his FREE time he shares healthy recipes and easy workouts for others to do. His website is easy to manage and has plenty of options regarding how to overall become BETTER. I believe he wants what’s best not just for his clients but everyone. When I was having trouble with growing muscle and bloating. He put together a list of recipes and workouts. While training together, he made sure to focus on form rather than rushing. He also helped me have a positive mindset if I wasn’t seeing results right away. I believed weight training 5 days a week and running 2 miles everyday was going to give me my dream body and leave me feeling gut healthy. Unfortunately it definitely was not the case. James explained that I would need a specific amount of protein everyday in order to see results. I can’t only workout.. I need to make sure I am eating the correct foods and the correct amount. He recommended downloading an app to help me track my food intake. It has been life changing. Since he has helped me through my hardships with my inner and outer self. I have learned that balance, consistency, and of course be better is they key!

James is the best trainer! Not only is he knowledgeable about form and technique, he works with you and encourages you every step of the way to achieve your fitness goals. James got me so motivated! His energy is contagious and wanting to be better for myself has never felt so good! Hence his slogan “be better”. In the past I would always attempt to work out on my own but never saw the results I was looking for and would easily give up. James patiently broke down the importance of different forms during each exercise and it’s been a game changer when it comes to my results. Going to the gym was always intimidating for me and now I have the confidence, motivation and results I’ve been looking for for years! He’s kind, patient and listens to your fitness goals to personalize the best workout plan to fit your needs. And my favorite was that if an exercise wasn’t working out for me he would have an alternative immediately. I highly recommend working with him if you’re serious about improving your fitness and overall health!
