Our expert instructors will guide you through a journey of self-discovery and self-improvement. With a focus on health and wellness, our classes are designed to improve flexibility, strength and mental clarity. In addition to our regular yoga classes, we offer workshops, nutrition programs, retreats, and private sessions for those who are interested in a more in-depth experience.

The 21reboot program is Life changing !!! I have done many types of nutritional / food programs. This by far is the BEST , and she gives you lifetime access to keep referring back to her videos, you can join her sessions, she offers 3 times a year, you can dive deeper with one on one sessions..
I have never felt so good, and seen such results.. she tells you, be patient with your learning.. you'll get it.. takes practice .. just like the athletes ! They don't go to the Olympics with out a lot of trial and error... practice ... get a little better each time..

The 21 Day Reboot is an impressive educational experience with fantastic structure and guidance, and I experienced real results. It’s ideal for people who are tired of fad diets and want to develop sustainable, science-backed habits. If you are ready to invest a bit of time each day, you’ll experience the full benefits. I just completed the 21 Day Reboot Program and was blown away! I thought I was already eating healthy and didn’t need a program like this, but I was so wrong. This isn’t a diet; it’s an education in how your body truly works.
From my experience, it is a program that encompasses both the psychological, physical, and nutritional values of food. You learn about .. sugar affects our taste buds, hormones, serotonin, liver health, emotional triggers, and numerous others. The program is very well researched, documented, organized, engaging, and FUN! (but no sugar coating.. it takes time, commitment, courage and an open mind to get thru the first 21 days and to make necessary changes in our lives)

The never would, did...join the ranks of those who use a food tracker on the cell phone. This allows me to understand what I am ingesting. I feel more in control, and even dropped 5 stubborn pounds I thought would never budge.
I would encourage anyone to take an intimate look at the most important person in the world....YOU. If you’re ready to truly understand your body and build lasting change, this program is priceless, and I will be revisiting 21 DAY REBOOT again and again!!

I started aerial yoga in November to add something interesting and fun to my workout routine...and I absolutely love it!! At first I was a bit scared of the silks, but once you let your fear go and trust that they will hold you, it is amazing how the body moves in different ways versus traditional yoga. In addition, I am building more muscle from using my muscles a different way..already down 11 lbs...and yes that includes eating healthy and my other workout routine.
Shannon is an amazing instructor!! She is kind, patient, knowledgeable, and has such great energy.
Don't be afraid..aerial yoga isn't all about inversions but about challenging your mind and body to do something different and amazing.

This 21 day reboot by Shannon helped me take steps in the right direction! Her information fills in the gaps of what I don’t know. Beyond that, her information is inspiration. I’ve been addicted to sweets all my life, and I never thought I could let go of it like I did for weeks. Now I’m aware I want to be in control of it, and not let it control me.

Update to my review of "21 Day Reboot" program: Among the great features of this program is lifetime access to the live sessions and recorded materials. Shannon imparts so much detailed information that it can be overwhelming to absorb it all your first time through. Even if you think you caught it all the first time, I guarantee you will learn something new every time you repeat the program. Shannon is always updating materials and adding new information, and as new students join the group and ask novel questions, we all learn more. This program is about adopting a healthy lifestyle; repeating the program is a great way to stay on track.
Review of "21 Day Reboot" program: I highly recommend the 21 Day Reboot program. It’s not a diet or a program solely for people who want to lose weight. It’s an enlightening program for anyone who is curious about how to eat better and live a healthier lifestyle. Shannon does SO much research on health-related topics. It is clear that she loves what she does because it’s hard to imagine one person collecting the volume of information covered in this course. I thought I was well-versed on living healthy, but there was so much I didn’t know until I took the course. One core principle is that everyone is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all remedy for health. Shannon helps us figure out what foods and habits work for us individually, and for the long-term. Yes, a 21-day commitment sounds like a lot, but the program is structured so that each of the 21 main topics has a video and other related resource materials on-line, available to you at your convenience; you can even listen to the videos while driving. There is so much useful information that you likely won’t be able to absorb it all the first time. Periodically Shannon will do the course “live,” meaning on top of all the videos and materials you get access to upon sign up, you are invited to join a nightly live Zoom call with Shannon and other course participants to share information and go over any questions. I learn something new every time. The course truly is worth every penny.
Review of "7 Days to Giving up Sugar" program: I just finished Shannon’s Sugar I workshop (“7 Days to Giving up Sugar”), and to say it was eye-opening would be an understatement! Shannon is extremely knowledgeable and she shares a lot of information in a way that’s easy to understand. Shannon is always available for questions and she and all of her students (including some who have taken the workshop multiple times) are very supportive. I thought I knew all about how sugar is bad for you, but I did not appreciate HOW bad it is, nor did I fully understand how it affects our bodies, until I took this workshop. Even though I had been eating relatively less sugar than I did when I was younger, I still noticed a big difference once I started following Shannon’s program. The on-line sessions are 30 minutes each (followed by Q&A) for 7 evenings, and if you miss a live session you can listen to the recording afterwards. The workshop goes way beyond avoiding sugar to lose weight; it’s really about optimizing your health and living your best life at every age. There’s no excuse not to check it out!

This is my second time taking The 21-Day Body Reboot course. The first time, I became more aware of reading labels on food items, among many other helpful things. I completed Shannon's 21 Day Reboot program last week and I absolutely loved it! I highly recommend this to everyone - not just if you want to lose weight. It is so much more than that (even though I'm sure you will lose weight 😄). I said several times that it's comparable to a college course on nutrition (in 21 days) and wellness with all the scientific reasons why our bodies and mind respond a certain way to food, environment, sleep, blood types and so much more. I have always been interested in nutrition and fitness -I've taken a college nutrition class- and thought I knew a lot. I learned A LOT. I also consider myself very healthy and eat very healthy but there's so much more to why things happen that I did not know. When we understand the why, I think we're more likely to stick with it. All of it is practical information that you can adopt at your own pace. It will be worth your time and effort to take this course. And you have the videos and PDFs, etc. for life! I have never been part of a program where I learned, understood, and applied nutrition and healthy habits to my life in a perfectly paced sequence. Each day, we learned something new to work on and apply to our daily routines. By pacing it in this way, and giving us the feedback daily, I was able to process and incorporate the changes to make healthy habits routine.
It makes perfect sense. Food is our fuel. We want to feel our best every day. We need to hydrate, fuel, rest, supplement, move and support our body …. Over a year ago I began to attend Bending Light Yoga, at Vero Beach, Florida. I was unaware that a first-time experience helps with my balance in many shapes and forms.

Last summer I took the 21 day Total Body Reboot class, learned a great deal about reading labels & ingredients, among many other things, and paid a lot more attention to what I ate. Previously my doctor had suggested I eat fish at least 3 times a week and red meat only twice a month. By doing this and lowering my intake of sweets and other foods I hadn't realized had added sugar, I was really curious what my annual blood work would show. Today my doctor commented that I was a poster child and to keep doing whatever I was doing. In the past 6 months I have lost weight and my cholesterol and triglyceride readings have all greatly improved, without the need for medication. Thanks Shannon. This week I took my second Aerial Yoga class and am absolutely loving it. It is like being a little kid, able to play on the swing and totally enjoying learning new moves. Shannon provides lots of guidance to make sure we are safe while hanging upside down or flipping out of the silk or trying to remember right and left. Just FUN and stretching out for shavasana in the silk is truly amazing!
I just completed The 21 Day Total Body Reboot Program offered by Shannon Sims (Bending Light Yoga) and cannot say enough about what a great course it is. The amount of research Shannon has done is outstanding. The manner in which she presents the information in the daily and bonus videos, in addition to a daily zoom meeting, plus additional resources and links to related sources, is to be commended. The PDF’s that you can choose to read on line or print are definitely well designed to recap the information in the videos. She even goes the extra mile, creating a Facebook group for class members to share information. I learned a great deal about how my body processes various kinds of food; the importance of having hydration but importantly a good source of hydration; sleep habits that can make a difference; along with many other well sourced and researched topics. Having the videos available for as long as you want them is also a great benefit of the course. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn about themselves, their body, their habits, their routines, and their way of life. A special thank you to Shannon for the information she presented, which is impacting me in a positive way. Now it’s up to me to continue making good use of all I’ve begun learning.
Note: My previous review was about the wonderful sunrise yoga class Shannon offers on the beach. I've been taking it for almost a year and find it to be an amazing way to start the day. I just couldn't figure out how to add an additional review and the edit screen kept coming up! Technology challenged!

I love, love, love the aerial class! I’ve taken a few beginner aerial classes over the years but never felt like it was yoga. The instructions were always cumbersome and interrupted the flow. The environment in this studio was so welcoming and supportive! Both from the instructor and the other class members. Never having tried aerial yoga before, I had a lot of trouble figuring things out. But Shannon came over to help me directly multiple times. The other folks in the class let me know how hard it was for them at first too, but also how far they were able to come. One of the more challenging kinds of exercises I've ever tried, but definitely one of the coolest and most rewarding!

I do Sunrise Yoga on the Beach aerial yoga, and deep stretch yoga with Shannon. These are all wonderful classes with lots of variety to impact all the regions of the body. Shannon has a really special cadence in her yoga flow and high makes for a fabulous experience. The Sunrise Yoga on the Beach at the Costa de Estes is particularly enjoyable with the backdrop of waves and a rising sun. I would recommend any of the Bending Light classes!

My yoga journey with Shannon has been one of the most rewarding experiences ever. My personal level of practice is nowhere near that of many of those attending however she has given me the confidence to keep pushing myself and accept that although I may not be able to maintain or even achieve a tree pose it’s okay! I’ve been taking a smorgasbord of fitness classes for over 25 years and by far Shannon is the BEST fitness instructor I’ve ever had. Not only is she the epitome of health and strength, she communicates each move with preciseness - explaining which muscles we are using and how to perform each exercise correctly. The Barre workouts are phenomenal and fun!! Low impact, but intense!! I never feel like I’m not getting my bang for my buck, and her classes are reasonably priced!! I joined Bending Light Yoga when the global pandemic commensed in March of 2020. I credit this business and Shannon Sims for awakening a passion and a zest for life I thought was buried long ago. About 4 weeks ago, I made a commitment to join Shannon's 7 days to no sugar. It has been life changing. I have dropped 14 pounds from 152lbs to 138lbs. I dropped from a size 12 to a size 8 in my clothing size. I didn't realize how hostage sugar was holding my metabolism, my mind and my health. I am free from sugar and all artificial sweetners, did I say "ALL?" I take Barre, Yoga, Pranyama and any workshop that this business offers. I started to take aerial yoga classes with Shannon Sims 3 months ago and I absolutly love it. Her fun and professional approach to teach is exeptional. This class is teaching my body to stretch graciously and gives me a confidence to step out of my comfort zone and take some risks that I would not try without the motivation and Shannon's skills to focus and do it the safe way. REBOOT I (7 days to giving up sugar)
My eyes were really opened to the health dangers of sugar, both natural and artificial (most especially). I was motivated by 2 health issues, not weight loss, however I lost about 5 lbs. by the end of that week. Shannon has always answered any text or in person questions that I had. She has so much knowledge to share! I highly recommend the program. I need to do it again as there was so much information to "DIGEST."
REBOOT II
This had more detailed information about nutrition, diet, body types, sleep. The section on sleep has helped me tremendously. I hope to be off prescription sleep meds soon, having been diagnosed with chronic insomnia. Shannon provides many references for further research into a topic of interest.

She brings a wealth of information to the table each evening during her program classes and shares a summary of that information as well as the recording of the session in case you need to revisit.
I highly recommend anyone interested in gaining insight into how to approach your nutritional needs take this course. Or, for those that have background already from research and hands-on experience, this is a fantastic refresher with updated data. I promise, you will hear things you hadn't heard and will likely dive deeper into some areas to expand on what you already know.
Shannon also touches on areas not directly related to nutrition and fitness per se, but ties it in nicely to give you a full circle of the what's, how's, and why's.

I have taken Shannon's hatha yoga class for almost 4 years. She has varied our practice and taught us how assume the poses without stressing our bodies but getting the most from each pose. I have been able to build strength and stamina. I have never felt I was in competition or being judged by other students who are more proficient than I am. We work on body alignment to ease and minimize areas of pain or stiffness, especially the joints and hips. We also work on the little muscles and tendons of the wrists as well as the muscles of the eyes which we use so much in our daily life. Shannon is very positive and always has a comment or a story which is motivating to keep us going. I also attend her deep stretch class which works to loosen muscles and lubricate fascia to help keep our bodies, flexible, moving and limber. I feel taking these classes and having Shannon as my instructor has greatly improved my quality of life.

I took the program 7 days to give up Sugar and I must say it’s amazing! I am an active person, exercise a lot, and always eat fairly healthy. I was interested in learning more about effects of sugar in our diet and honestly thought I don’t eat much sugar but occasional dessert here and there. Oh how I was wrong. Sugar (artificial sweeteners) are everywhere and Shannon really explains why and how it works in our body. I loved it! This is the program I was looking for lately because with all the diets and fads and so much advice on “good for you” things to eat I was getting lost... and this is the only program that makes sense to me now because it addresses the emotional eating, value of eating for health and nutrition not only for weight loss, why will power does not always work, and how to recognize good for you food versus bad among so many choices we face every day. I also like that’s it’s based on gradual weaning from sugar so you can experiment by taking certain foods out slowly and noticing results daily. I love 7 days to giving up sugar. My A1C was at 10.8 which is critical. it's now down to 8.3 I am still working to get it lower. My triglycerides were 792 they are now 102. My calcium is10.8 and it was extremely high. I've lost 15 pounds in 30 days. My total cholesterol was at 115 I was so high I was on 2 differert meds
to get it under control. My HDL is 49 and my LDL is 47. I may not need cholesterol meds anymore and I am even looking at coming off insulin as a possibility. This program is fabulous I couldn't be happier. Thank you Shannon Sims for making such a difference in my life.

I JUST FINISHED SUGAR I AND II AND CAN’T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE LIFE
CHANGING RESULTS. I FINALLY STARTED SLEEPING AGAIN, ALL NIGHT! I SUFFERED FROM VERTIGO WHICH HAS IMPROVED GREATLY AND I HAVE CUT SOME OF MY MEDICATION IN HALF. I ALWAYS KNEW SUGAR WAS BAD FOR ME AND I HAD TRIED BEFORE TO STOP UNSUCCESSFULLY. I HAVE BEEN OFF SUGAR A MONTH AND ONLY HAVE SHANNON TO THANK.

Shannon Sims 7 Days to Giving Up Sugar has been a life changer for me. In less than one month I have lost 6 pounds and I feel terrific. I discovered Shannon and Bending Light Yoga when I went to my first sunrise beach yoga class. Since then I have tried a variety of her classes and they never disappoint. Shannon's calm demeanor and encouraging words are wonderful. She can teach and modify to any level and always makes you feel great! I recently signed up and completed her 7 Days to No Sugar classes and learned so much. Shannon will give you the steps to take to achieve a much healthier version of yourself. There is so much great information. I highly recommend anyone who wants to feel their best try Shannon's No Sugar classes. Actually, try all of her classes. You will be happy you did!

All of Shannon's yoga and aerial classes are amazing! Her newest addition is an online class called 7 Days To No Sugar, and it is positively life changing. I had been trying to lose weight for 4 years and never could. This journey caused me to lose 10 lbs in the first 10 days. I was SHOCKED at how much of the "healthy" or "sugar free" items I had been eating were what was keeping me from losing the weight. Whether you are looking to lose weight or want to learn about whats actually in the food you're eating, want to learn the science behind why feeding your body what it needs is so crucial, and how to eat in order to improve your health, this course gives you all information and tools you need to set yourself up for success. The group online meetings are a fantastic motivator and also helped me to hold myself accountable, as well as be a part of a community who are all going through the same successes and struggles.
I continue to do the classes each month because it helps me keep myself on track.

Just finished Shannon's Sugar 1 and Sugar II program. Absolutely would recommend this program for anyone who has health issues, wants to loose weight or just wants to eat healthier. I was simply amazed at how easy it was to give up sugar and how much better I feel since I have done so. I am sleeping better than I have in years, lost 5 pounds and have so much more energy. The cost was so reasonable and the amount of information that she provides is worth its weight in gold! The program is simple to follow and Shannon is an amazing teacher. Highly recommend Bending Light Aerial Yoga Studio to anyone looking to exercise with less to No pressure on the joints! It feels Amazing!
Very Clean Studio & teachers pay a lot of attention to the students.
**Small Class-at the most only 9 students. LOVE IT!
All ages (Some seniors are in better shape than many of us).
Aerial Yoga is much better than standard yoga (MOPO). Why? The extra support of the silk "rope" allows for a deeper stretch without hurting your joints. I can't explains it--It is a must try at least once! The inverted hanging decompresses the spine which feels amazing for my bad lower back (full of scar tissue). I tried it once and am hooked!
Suffering from chronic back pain (due to 3 failed back surgeries) & a torn miniscus has made exercise almost impossible. I was quite nervous the first class but our instructor & owner Shannon made me feel at ease. She was always checking on the new students' safety while making sure we held proper form for a better stretch. I came out feeling so relaxed, I wanted to just go to sleep! I have only done three classes & feel it is helping with my lower back & hip pain.
I was so scared of hurting myself but I had Shannon or Becky helping me when I needed that extra help (quite a few times). If you always wanted to try Aerial class but are scared to, give these ladies a Try!

I attended a workshop on the "geometric principles" of yoga (i.e., aligning your body properly for the various asanas) conducted by Shannon Sims. The explanations provided were clear and obviously based on the instructor's strong understanding of body alignment. So many yoga poses can be done improperly leading to injury. The workshop provided insight into how to correctly position your body for each of the asanas explored in the workshop. Ms. SImms demonstrated both how to approach the pose incorrectly and, in turn, how to move through the asana so that the body is correctly aligned. I highly recommend the instruction of Shannon SIms.

Shannon is a very good teacher. She is very conscious of all of the student skill levels in all of her classes and she provides modifications for every skill level... all the way from advanced to first yoga class. This makes Shannon's classes available to everyone, which is hard to find. She has a very caring and welcoming person which just makes going to her classes that much more enjoyable!! she is always smiling and giving her student her best. If you haven't been to one of her classes, I highly recommend you check her schedule out and try one out... you will not be disappointed!

Shannon has incorporated a fun & challenging aerial yoga class into her class schedule. I have enjoyed & benefited from her yoga on the beach at 7 am at Costa D' Este; Barre Classes at Christie's; Hot Yoga Class; 15 minute Boot Camps!!!; and now aerial yoga class. Arial Yoga is by far the most fun you can have working out in an hour or 45 minutes to an hour. The time is worth investing into your health & spirit - recommend trying a class no matter what fitness level you maybe.

I went to an Aeriel Essentials class and have never done aerial yoga before, and Shannon explains everything very well and is very patient. Room is very clean. Have since tried more advanced classes and have thoroughly enjoyed them. The stretching and strength gained through these classes has been beneficial to my long standing injuries. I feel so much better after each class, physically and mentally.
