This gym has real potential — it’s clean, safe, well-equipped, and has a solid community. But potential means nothing without direction, and that’s where the gym continues to fall short.

The hours are extremely limited and inconvenient, the sauna has been down with no updates, the lockers barely work, and the outdoor equipment was removed with no explanation. There’s no community engagement, no events, and nothing that sets this gym apart from bigger chains.

With CHUZE Fitness closing nearby, this could have been the perfect opportunity to grow — but the gym simply isn’t structured to take on new members. It feels like ownership is waiting for more members before investing, but that’s exactly why new members don’t show up. It’s a backwards business approach.

There are simple solutions that would immediately make this gym competitive:

Implement app or key-card entry so the facility doesn’t rely on staff being present

Extend the hours, or at least eliminate the mid-day 1–4 PM closures.

Offer a price that reflects the current amenities

Communicate updates clearly so members know what’s happening

Have events or activities that advertise & bring exposure.

I’m not writing this to tear the gym down — I’m writing it because I want it to succeed. I come here because the environment has so much potential, but potential doesn’t matter if leadership doesn’t act on it. The facility is strong, the community is strong — the execution just isn’t.

If the owner chooses to actually invest in the vision of this place, it could truly thrive.

The gym looks nice upon renewing our contract they were supposed to get the sauna fixed now there's no sauna, there hours are not for you it's for the person behind the desk!😡 open at 6am close at 1pm open at 4pm til 8pm that's Monday-Friday then summer time closed on Sunday, Saturday 9am-6pm but your still paying that monthly fee, leg extension machine been broke going on 2months. I'm canceling my membership cause of lies!!!

Overall the gym is nice and private, however, the hours are not only horrible but extremely inconsistent. I’ve been kicked out of that gym more times than I haven’t. The summer hours are constantly changing and I never know what time they’re going to close. I shouldn’t have to read the sign on the door every single day. Thankfully I only have a 30 day pass because the other memberships are very expensive and not worth it.

Despite this gym looking very nice on the inside, it’s just a glorified planet fitness with less space, less equipment and most importantly less membership perks and incentives as a small gym.

I use to work out here when it was Asana wellness center and loved it when the sauna was working.

But this gym will likely find a new owner again soon as these small gyms just don’t learn and suffer from low membership.

You CANT offer less for more money.

Stop with this ridiculous 2 or 3 single day guest passes per month crap. And fix the dang sauna.

My partner and I are not going to come here and pay for TWO!!! Memberships, not to mention they are year contracts, when I can just continue to go to LA fitness for less money with more perks and facilities AND get this, I can bring in 2 guests at a time every single day. Non of this 2 single day pass per month bs. Just like iron house gym, best gym jax is more of the same crap we’ve seen for years here. I would have loved to switched gyms but being unable to bring my partner with me as a guest is an automatic NO from me, and a broken sauna is just the cherry on top.

It is a pretty gym but there’s just not enough offered to make the switch.

Paid only $10 for a walk in to work out for an hour. Very large facility, tons of good equipment, super clean place, men’s restroom very large lotta areas to change and shower. Definitely a five star rating!

Awesome Gym, has equipment and free weights for anything you need, Spin room and HIIT training area… very clean, Chris is great very knowledgeable and helpful, and offers personal training… Best Gym Jax, name says it all!!!

I’ve loved working out here! The gym has all the equipment I’ve wanted to use, and it will be even better when the outdoor space opens up. The locker room is clean, and being able to shower here has been incredibly helpful.

We were very disappointed when the previous gym closed, but Best Gym Jax 24/7 has done a phenomenal job with the space. They have updated all of the equipment and offer 24 hour use. The membership price cannot be beat and all of the staff have been extremely friendly and welcoming. We love it here and are extremely grateful a new gym took over the space. 10/10 would recommend.
