The staff works hard to keep this the cleanest and most organized gym you’ll ever find. Seriously, the 2.5s are always already where they are supposed to be. I joined BIM Fitness and hired Megan as a personal trainer. I had 4 weeks to be able to lift a 50lb bag properly for admittance into a program I'm going in to. She meet with me and made a plan for me. From day one I couldn't even get just my body off the floor properly, let alone with a 50lb bag. Megan trained me 3 days a week for a month and I was able to properly lift that bag and submit the video by the due date!! Megan helped me reach my (what seemed to be impossible) goal and without her it wouldn't have been possible! I'm forever greatful to Megan for helping me and using her knowledge to isolate the muscles I needed to strengthen. I will continue going to BIM fitness and highly recommend this gym and Megan as a personal trainer!

I absolutely love working out at BIM Fitness Center! The gym is always spotless. The equipment is top-notch and well-maintained, perfect for both weights and cardio sessions. This gym has all equipment you need for a great workout from banded/TRX Row Equipment to all sorts of workout machines/cable machines. There are plenty cleaning stations to wipe down equipment after use and staff who clean daily by the hour making sure everything is dusted, cleaned and most importantly, sanitized. As a Personal Trainer of the gym, I’m happy to say the members and staff are welcoming and it’s overall a great community gym to be apart of.

Gym is the only option in Newberry. Sparse "cleaning stations" offer flimsy paper towels and questionable cleaning solution. It seems no one actually cleans after themselves. For the monthly cost they should at least have germicidal wipes. Lockers are dirty and showers are filthy.

I'm not sure what's going on with this gym. Upper management attitude has been horrible.
I love going to a gym where there are notes with exclamation Points telling me how to clean, wipe my feet, rack weights. Etc.

As a member of the health care system I am truly blown away with how clean and tidy this gym always looks! Which I must say is a big task considering how much they have expanded. I see safe practices happening everywhere I turn in the gym. I am always greeted with a smile and have never once felt unsafe even during the evening hours when staff is not present. I find the most reassuring part to this gym is the camera surveillance! I know if I have an issue or something occurs the owner can quickly and efficiently get to the bottom of it! I just cannot say enough good things about BIM!

Owner is a real jerk! Watch’s women on interior cameras (I’m sure for safety reasons lol) and will suspend you for a week for using an “out of order” machine! When I canceled he laughed and stated, “that is probably for the best! Nice gym if it had better ownership that isn’t a creep! I’m not the only one this has happened to! Oh, and mice and roaches!

I’ve been using this gym for a year and a half. The staff is always very helpful with any questions I had or tips I needed to get started and advance my training as I went along. The gym is always well maintained and clean. Being open 24 hours made it nice to have the option to go before or after work so I could make it work into my schedule. At 32 years old BIM helped me to get into the best physical shape I’ve been in since high school. It’s nice to go to a place that truly invests in their people and they are continuously growing. Adding new equipment and programs to keep things fresh and expand our knowledge.

The best “hometown” smaller type gym I have worked out in and actually joined. Been apart of bigger, corporate gyms for a few years and just moved back to the area where a decent gym is hard to come by. Worth the 25+ minute drive when there are two other gyms much closer to go to that are run down and overpriced. Literally signed up with the entire family and have had a great workout every time. Love the cleanliness and look of the equipment, great variety, owner and staff more than accommodating, and the 24/7 access plus the very fair price tops it off. For me. It looks like a very nice gym and would of had some low impact that i could use. I would of given a 5 star rating on what i saw but waited too long to try to join. They are not going to continue with Silver Sneakers. As learning more I thought Silver Sneakers was only for Medicare advantage programs but sounds like Silver Sneakers has added other health programs too instead of giving them a separate name.
