Bodyrok is actually the best! Been doing it for almost two months now and I will continue to do it going forward. It has helped motivate me to stay consistent with my workouts and I feel like I’m already seeing results. Highly recommend trying a class, you won’t regret it!! I’ll start with why I am here, I am a 56 year old man who was losing distance on the golf course; BodyRok has reversed that problem.

What makes BodyRok special is the trainers. I have trained with more than a few of the trainers here and they are top tier professionals. They reflect the passion of the studio’s owner’s who I think lose sleep if you don’t get a workout that has you cursing them.

When my previous trainer who is a true Master of this craft retired she recommended Heather as her replacement; my thinking at the time was that’s not possible as I thought her irreplaceable.

Three plus years on training one on one with Heather, I concede I was wrong; the recommendation was indeed a good one.
Heather’s technical competence is as good as there is in my opinion; 25 + years into reformer / super reformer training one on one, my daughter and I even trained on reformers in London and Vienna this past March, so I think myself an experienced source on this matter.

Heather makes training fun, she makes you want to be there, the time goes by fast, faster than you want it to; considering the level of challenge executing her workouts this is a true feat. She is a tip top, elite level trainer who is as nice a person as you will meet. Her smile will brighten your day, and she will get the absolute most you have, she is particularly adept at this. I could not recommend Heather more highly. Once you train with her you will see I’m not exaggerating, and you like me, will be looking forward to your next training session with her.

I really enjoy BODYROK. I’ve been to the new Westchase location and also Sparkman although I’m still new to Pilates after years of HIIT training. Nicole and Shawn are my favorites and I’m still getting to know the others. Honestly, all the instructors are great but you can definitely tell a difference between those who are tenured and those who are new. I do have limitations so have found some of the instructors do not offer variations up front which I think is dangerous if someone came here and is new to working out and were not aware of safer modifications. An example would be a day we did pistol squats. I workout often so know for my knee, I can plant my heel down instead of keeping my leg off the ground but that variation was not offered. My sister joined me for her first class and I was worried she’d hurt herself as I don’t think she was ready for the technique of a pistol squat on day 1 with no real guidance on how. So that’s my only critique is that safe variations and technique corrections need to be offered more proactively from the newer instructors. Otherwise, I’m enjoying getting to know the studio. I love the music and aesthetic.

Bodyrok is life! I took my first bodyrok class over 2 yrs ago when I was ready for a change from my stagnant workout routine. My intent was to just sprinkle in a class here and there IF I liked it. Needless to say after that first class I was hooked. I am now over 300 classes and 2&1/2 years into it and can’t see my life without it. Each class is so challenging but rewarding. I have been able to build strength and stamina in ways I never thought were possible for me. The instructors are fantastic, friendly and encouraging. It doesn’t matter what your body type or fitness level is, you will feel amazing after each class.

I have taken tons of classes at bodyrok over the last year and half. I’ve always had a great experience in the class! My class today was with Raquel. Raquel, and all the instructors, do an amazing job offering ways to modify and intensify movements during the class. Nicole M and Shawn are a couple instructors in particular I’d love to give a shoutout to but again all of them are AMAZING! I wish I had more time I’d do a class daily! Honestly I never really enjoyed working out until I started going to Bodyrok. After just a few weeks, I began noticing real changes in my body. The studio has such a welcoming atmosphere, and every class challenges me to level up.

I am a new member of this studio really have been enjoying my experience. I find the pricing to be reasonable compared to other Pilates studios in the area and they are constantly running specials to help with the cost! The instructors (Sheridan is my fav!!) are always helpful, encouraging and willing to help with form. The workout is of course challenging but I find the 45 minutes fly by and I always leave feeling accomplished and strong. They also offer very early and later classes which helps be able to fit into your schedule as necessary.

I'm going on my 4th month of pilates and it's a perfect workout for me getting back into working out. I mostly see Shawn, Nicole M, Tyler and Heather. Each instructor is amazing and friendly! They have their own unique styles. I find that Heather's classes are the most challenging. I have no idea what she does different but I sweat my ass off. I found Nicole M's instructions and the detail of her explanations of each move were the easiest to understand starting off as a beginner.

For someone looking to get back in the health journey bodyrok is a good way to start. They offer modification if you are new.

I really enjoy the studio because of the class times they offer. They have tons of class times! I took my first reformer class at body rock with Tyler and I felt so comfortable. She’s an excellent instructor and does a fantastic job at demoing each exercise. I went to Bodyrok for the first time today and it was an amazing experience. Dana was very friendly and welcomed me and my instructor Natalie was amazing and helped guide me throughout the duration of my class. I definitely look forward to being back and was very happy with my experience. I didn’t feel uncomfortable as a newbie to reformer pilates at any time. Just make sure to be under an hour to get your parking validated I went over by a few minutes to ask about membership opportunities so my parking wasn’t compensated and I paid the full amount so be mindful about that!

The front desk ladies need to work on their stuck up attitudes. I felt very unwelcomed from the start and just felt judged the whole time I was in the class. They definitely judge you if you are not below 120lbs and don’t wear lulu. Don’t join. Join another Pilates somewhere else

I’ve been to this gym several times and really enjoyed the sessions. The trainers are great, but unfortunately, the rules are very strict and unreasonable. I don’t live in the city center, so I have to drive, which usually takes about 15 minutes. However, traffic can be terrible, and sometimes I might be a bit late. On one occasion, I arrived early but had trouble finding parking, and as a result, I was 10 minutes late to my class. Despite the situation being out of my control, I wasn’t allowed to enter because of the gym’s policy, which only allows a 5-minute grace period. I understand the rules, but it wasn’t my fault there was no parking available.

I would give the trainers 5 stars for their professionalism, but I have to give the administration 1 star. They were completely inflexible and unsympathetic to my situation. Also, nobody informed me about the parking lot across the street, which would have made a huge difference. Because of this, I won’t be returning.

The BEST 45-minutes of my day! I got the unlimited month trial and started on 1/9, and truly see and feel the difference that these classes have made, making the decision to invest in these classes monthly so much easier. The instructors are all wonderful and make each class unique. The machine is easy to navigate, the location is great (next door is a well-rated coffee shop) and they validate your parking ticket, PLUS they have the best selection of socks, athletic apparel, jewelry, and more. Such a great Pilates studio! Went for the first time with a friend and got a really quick and great workout under Coach Sully. Studio is clean and spacious, and the customer service and care were great (which was super helpful for me as an initially nervous beginner ngl).

The workouts are challenging, which is good if you have at least an intermediate amount of strength already built up. I go twice a week and am always sore the next day.

I do wish the instructors would let us know what the modifications are for every move because I find some of the moves to be so challenging that I’m unable to do more than 1-2 reps of it. I also notice people working the wrong leg/arm or their form is really off and it seems to be more often than not, that the instructors don’t offer correction… I’ve been that person a couple of times.

The reformers are clean. I love that they have sanitizing wipes they place on your reformer at the end of class, so you know they stay clean.

Every now and then a reformer is missing one of the 6 springs we use to set our resistance. It’s annoying when you get one of those reformers, but usually it’s ok to work around it.

Katie, at the front desk, is like a ball of sunshine and has always been so nice.

The cost is pretty in line with south Tampa pricing, so it seems fair.

Clean, spacious, and open studio with a variety of scheduling options available. However, not all instructors are created equal. Some are great, attentive, and motivating— while some else are not. Sucks that you have to spend your membership classes to find this out, but oh well. I’ll still be returning.

Looking for a fun and challenging way to get toned from head to toe? This is it. I am obsessed with BodyRok Tampa! For me, it's the perfect combination of my favorite high-energy spin class and focused barre class rolled into one. The studio is clean and luxurious and the instructors are all fantastic. I never thought I'd enjoy a plank or a burpee, but the reformer and the vibe make them *almost* enjoyable. The workout changes daily, so I'm able to workout regularly without muscle fatigue. I've seen incredible changes in my muscle tone and body shape in just a matter of weeks and I actually look forward to class. I HIGHLY recommend this studio!

OMG! What an amazing burn! I’m a newbie (it was my first class) so I struggled through it but Alicia was there cheering me on and providing assistance and suggesting modifications along the way! As a male, I typically hate this stuff. After taking this class, I couldn’t believe how much it affected my core. It is challenging in an odd way that makes you want more. The music keeps you going, Nicole is very patient and motivating, and the entire atmosphere is set up in a way that makes me feel apart of a team. If you’re debating, just do it! Try something new so your core can thank you later.
