Update July 1st 2023 the gym is now closed down..
Love the gym the only things that I wish they would do it's freaking not keep it hot like when people are working out I need to know that the AC is circulating just for safety reasons but besides that I think it's an awesome place again they just need to keep the AC down lower so when people are working out we know that the air is circulating

UPDATE: I downgraded my rating for BRXV from 4 stars to 2. Rumor is the building in which BRXV is located is scheduled for demolition and this may explain why the owner has stopped maintaining the gym. The equipment is starting to fall apart - the benches and pads are ripped, the paper towel dispensers don't work and are often empty, and the fans are pointed to the ceiling rendering them useless.
If you're in Wilton Manors for a day or week it is convenient. As a long term gym, I'd look elsewhere.

My original review:
I work out here and I can't tell you what the name is. BRV something. I dunno. It's a weird name.
Moved to this gym when the trainer I used moved here. It's clean, the machines are new, it's well lighted, and the staff and most of the clients are friendly.
Some of the best trainers moved here when it opened and if you want a professional trainer you'll find a number of them at BXRV...oh hell what is this place called?
Solid, well equipped gym in a convenient location. Monthly membership fee very reasonable.

Somewhat friendly staff, rarely crowded, clean new equipment.
After a year here the steam room is still broken.

Great find! The 5 pack of day passes were perfect for this tourist. Great staff. Great equipment. Friendly clients. I’ll be back in my next visit to Wilton Manors.

Nice gym, never seems overly crowded, at least when I go in evenings. Nice staff, close to my home and central Wilton Manors location. Only drawback I've found is the temperature level which is kept at a pretty warm setting. I have noticed several members who have begun carrying their own rechargeable fans for workouts here, so might start doing so too

To the new and past recent reviews that made negative/FALSE comments about BRXV FITNESS being dirty etc ….. I’m a member from day 1 when they opened and NEVER experienced any of the negative comments and I’m for NOT opening the steam room for the inappropriate behavior that goes on , Once again they’re not a bathhouse or a cruising gym environment, if that’s what you’re looking for go to the bathhouse where you belong and you’ll find a dirty environment there . And YOU ALL know who you are and HATERS at that ! Hope you find happiness in your life with all the negative energy you have . Old kweens and complainers.
My rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
keep up the great job BRXV FITNESS !

This gym is trash. The old bearded man who works the front desk is rude and doesn't know his products. The gym is sparse and lacking equipment. Paper towel dispensers are a pain. It's dirty and over the past 6 months the steam room has been out of order. When I tried to cancel they tacked on an additional month.

I have attended this location over the years - managed and owned by others - and can say I have never seen it so clean and well equipped with reasonably fresh and current equipment. Hope the community takes advantage of the changes.

This is a nice gym with everything you need for a great workout. The Legend Fitness equipment throughout the gym is only a year old. Forget the absurd negative reviews from the three or four complaining Karens on here. That type would complain about any club they used. No there is no steam room. This is a gym for serious workouts. It is not a bathhouse. Period. The gym is cleaned and maintained on a weekly basis. I’m in this gym every day. I enjoy it very much and the price point is in line with other mid-range clubs like Powerhouse or LA. A big plus is that it’s the ONLY full service gym on the drive. It’s right behind Alabi. Go check it out.

Absolutely the cleanest gym I have ever used in 40 yrs of lifting. The staff and environment are welcoming and the equipment is perfect for both the serious minded bodybuilder as well as the novice. Definitely my go to gym when in the Wilton Manors area.

Dirtiest gym I’ve ever been to. You never see staff cleaning anything. No energy or social vibes. Usually just less than 10 people working out. In May ‘21 memberships were being sold with access to a steam & dry sauna, and told that TVs would be installed after an additional annual fee assessment, but a year later… roughly no A/C, no TV programming you’d actually watch, no steam room, no classes & what I view as homophobic signage about “No Tomfoolery” or you will be kicked out. This gym needs an owner that will put money into this gym and respect the local community.

Went to see this gym since it was so close to home. Upon entering the employee was on speakerphone and asked us to wait a moment while he finished ordering various protein flavors. As he was on the phone, asked how he could help us. We said we were possibly interested in joining. He then read off a list of prices and asked if we wanted to join. Clearly, he was more interested in finishing his phone call. I said maybe a tour first. He then said to the person on the phone, I’ll call you back. As he walked from behind the desk, he said that was the owner. Wow, really? And this is how you approach potential members? It felt very uncomfortable.
As we got a tour I noticed little to no enhancements have been made since the previous other three gyms have occupied this space over the last decade; of which I had belonged to all three. If anything, they made this space unusable. There is a ton wasted space in the front for a weird store. The color scheme is garish and way too open. The rubber flooring that was once there has been ripped up and there’s terribly patched, yellow terrazzo floors. The entire gym has a bad energy.
The studio does not even offer classes. Yet, they want to charge $40 a month membership. There are many other gyms that charge less and give you more.
At the end of the day it felt like a pop-up gym. I’m sure that they figured ‘let’s put a gym here, we can make a lot of money from this community…they’ll pay it.’ It’s such a shame because they had an opportunity to do something cool and fun but completely did it as cheaply as possible.

A big advantage of this gym is how seldom it gets busy - always easy finding free machines and getting in a good workout. For me, after going to this gym for a year I started to lose motivation simply because there were never other people at the gym (no eye candy, so to speak). The gym gets quite hot at times - I think the AC system might be outdated or ineffective. Not a ton of leg machines, and there is only one freestanding squat rack (the rest are fixed machines). Worth it if you live within walking distance of the gym. If you’re going to have to drive anyway, there are better options

No one answers when u call the number on the website not even emails for a reply. Love the gym and location, but I really wish they can do something about the hrs on the weekends. Most people don’t get out till 7 and practically no way to work out. Thas the only thing that I can say

Great gym with all the equipment you could need and friendly staff! But I went here and got charged $50 for a week pass which is kinda high considering some nice gyms charge less than that per month.

PSA: it’s NOT OK to eat your meal in the front lobby at 7:30a and stink up the ENTIRE area while gym guests are currently working out. It’s especially ironic that a trainer of the gym is actually making it WORSE for other guests… this happens almost on a daily basis. It seriously creates an awful gym experience. Thanks a lot guy.

Trainer eats the smelliest food right next to the cardio machine section. Every. Single. Morning. So inconsiderate - smells up the entire room. Its gotten to the point where it’s enough to make me cancel my membership. If that trainer (or the owner of this gym) is reading this, please think about being more considerate of your guests while they’re trying to work out. That’s what we’re here for anyway, right? I don’t see a restaurant in here…

It is a convinient gym. If you are visiting for a while, they have day passes, which makes it useful. They do need a couple of machines ,but you can do with the equipment they have.
Customer service is great and friendly, and that is a great plus. It's a centric place. I love working out in this gym.
I will leave a list of pictures with the machines you can use, and find there.

Last year the owner told me the steam room was working at that he was waiting on a permit from the City of Wilton Manors. I wanted to join but if I'm going to pay a premium (more than Crunch or LA) then everything should work. It's now a year later and I contacted the city. Turns out he's a liar. There was no pending permit on the steam room, ever!

It’s a very clean, functional gym, they have a machine for everything you can think of except hip abductors. Limited cardio machines, a mini retail section with the latest in sexy swim and workout gear. It’s never crowded in the early AMs, or late afternoons or weekends apparently. Also they sell single day, 7 day and 30 day passes!

I feel safe working out here. I normally don't like going to the gym and working out around other people. This gym makes me feel safe. It is clean, with high quality, brand new equipment, and the people are super friendly. I love the atmosphere. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. All of the stress and anxiety of going to the gym is gone. This is the only gym I am comfortable walking into, any time of day. I highly recommend it.
