Claude has made this space exceptional and personal. I left the huge cooperate commercial gyms because I never was able to lift without waiting on machines and didn’t feel a sense of community. Being greeted by name by him is always the best way to start our workout. Equipment is great and taken care of. No crowds or immature high schoolers. Never going anywhere else but here!

Best gym in the area, easily. I’ve been a member of many gyms in the area, EOS, Crunch, LA to name a few, sometimes it can be hard to find a gym home, one that checks all the boxes. The customer service is incredible, Claude, and the staff with the name recognition and acknowledgment it gives that personal touch. The equipment is vast, not to mention clean, with sanatizer and paper towel stations literally from front to back. The gym is never crowded, you don’t waste time driving around for parking, it’s not filled to the brim with “gym bros” you never feel judged, intimidated or uncomfortable. Affordable, comfortable, clean, convenient (also 24 hours) I’ve found my home. Would recommend to anyone who is reluctant or even new to working out.

This place is the best gym in my book and I really don't like gyms in general. The owner is wonderful, extremely personable and speaks to you in a way that makes you want to keep the committment you made to yourself when joining. The equipment feels all brand new, always in working order, and they reallly have something for everyone. I don't like all the fuss that comes with the boutique or muscle head gyms... there are gyms that fit each type of person, but this place is truly for everyone. This gym is AWESOME! It’s small enough that you don’t get lost and Claude, the owner, knows everybody by name! Yet, it has every piece of up to date, clean and functioning equipment you would ever need for you fitness journey (whatever path you take!). The place is super clean, even the locker rooms! Also, there is 24 hour access! You can workout anytime you want in a safe, clean, secure location! The rates are fantastic also! Less than half the cost, three times the equipment and infinitely cleaner than that other “gym” you can go to “anytime”! I can’t say enough good things about Circle the Sun Fitness. This is the best place I ever attended. I lose weight before joining but I felt like a gym would me improve my character. When I joined I didn’t know what to expect because I never went to a gym before hand but here everyone was really nice and the people that joined were also really friendly. It’s a judge free zone and no one would look at you for looking differently instead they will only encourage you and your journey. I love this place but sadly I’m gone for the year in Colorado. I was only in town for a month and search near and far for a gym and when I came across this one I knew it was a done deal. Between the friendly staff, plentiful equipment, and welcoming environment this has hands down been one of my favorite gyms I have even been apart of. Sometimes gyms can have all the equipment in the world but the vibe isn't welcoming, but here everyone between staff and members make it an environment that welcomes you to come work hard and pursue whatever your goals are. For me going to the gym isn't something I HAVE to do it is something I GET to do and Circle the Sun Fitness was a place I couldn't wait to get after a long day at work. I always walked out better than I did walking in and was surrounded by smiling faces and hard workers. I wish I didn't have to move or that I could take this place with me! I love this gym!!! If you are looking for a gym in the area this is the perfect one! 24 hour access with amazing and helpful staff.

I came home for college break and needed a gym to workout in for a short time and Claude the gym owner worked with my parent who had an existing membership to get me on a plan and access to the gym. In terms of machines, if you lift they have it. Both Hack and Pendulum squat, an iso lateral leg press machine, strict and incline peck deck, two cable flys and much more. They have a large open area for warm-ups and any crossfit that you may need to do as well as a strip of turf going down the middle of the gym for sled work or other walking exercises or warmups. They have a plethora of punching bags for any bag work you may want to do as well as two dedicated deadlift platforms.

For cardio they have treadmills, rowers, a jacob's ladder, star stepper and elliptical.

I was at the gym at all different times and the most amount of people I saw in the gym at one time (including myself) was 8.

I would recommend this gym to everyone that lives in the area if you are looking for a home gym. This is the one.

I have been coming to this gym for three months and I couldn’t be more pleased. The owner and the trainers are the most friendly people you will ever meet. Their main concern is “ you” - your safety, your satisfaction, and your results. I take the Seniors classes and the two coaches, Tim and Aston are truly wonderful. They are always checking that the class members are doing the exercises correctly in order to get the most benefit without injury.
I highly recommend Circle the Sun Fitness. Even if you are shy about working out in a public gym - just go for it! Tim and Aston will put you at ease, make you smile and give you a work out you’ll enjoy.

I changed my review to 5 star from 4 because I appreciate that they fix the back row machine very quickly after I tell Claude I loved that machine when I signed up.and I think the special leg press and the GHD are very cool other gyms don't have that. i like the assisted pullup machine and the lat pulldown feel nice . the back machines by free weights give you a good pump. I will say I'd like to have one actual cable machine to use the attachments on . seperate from the lat puldown thatmy only real pet peeve . but I figure I'll say thank you for the 24 hour gym and cleanliness and hospitality and even though ur set on equipment maybe in the future u can reconsider . and some rumble rollers and foam rollers . because recovery is very important for people's injury prevention my physical therapist recommends them. I've got bad shoulders so this would make me happy having some here

What makes Circle the Sun stand out is the fantastic environment that they create. Claude and everyone who works there is welcoming, encouraging, and just so nice to see every day! The gym has great equipment, plenty of racks, plenty of free weights…really it has everything you need! I actually enjoyed being at the gym here 4-5 days a week, something I realize has started lacking at my gym back home (in NY).

I have belonged to many gyms through the years. All most all have the same equipment. Circle the sun in Sarasota puts all the gyms I have used to shame. There are so many different things that you can do. They have heavy bags and they give you the bag gloves. That by it”s self is one great workout.
I joined for their one month membership but how can I go back to any of my other gyms. This is the greatest gym I have ever workout in.

This gym is the best kept secret of Sarasota! It is brand new and has every possible piece of equipment you need whether you are a beginner or experienced. Just the words ‘pendulum squat machine’… everyone knows it exists but no one ever saw it. Well, this gym has that and many more. Leg day paradise! This gym has more leg machines that other two gyms on that corner combined! It’s spacious enough not to feel cramped like in other gyms but not huge to walk miles from one machine to another. Whether it’s upper body or a leg day, I never had to compromise or to invent a set up to do a certain exercise like I would in other gyms. Every day I am willing to drive 30 min one way just to train there because it is absolutely worth it. Give it a try and you will fall in love. The owners are super nice and always there, know you by name and make you feel welcome and comfortable no matter if you are a regular or skipped a week or two or five.

Love this place! Can go any day of the week or time of day or night. They have plenty of cardio machines.. never have to wait for one to be free. They have a large variety of weight machines, so there's no waiting there either. I don't use free weights, but there seems to be plenty of them, along with mats. We love living close to this great gym with 24 hour access to accommodate our schedules anytime. It is very clean and organized with a large variety of equipment and weights. This gym is amazing. The facility is super clean, the staff is friendly, and the people are all amazing. They’re the type of people you want to surround yourself with. Every time we go in to workout the staff always knows us by name and asks how we’re doing. It’s always a clean environment and has some of the best equipment around the area. There’s a pendulum squat, split single leg leg press, belt squat, 2 sets of dumbbells, multiple benches and squat racks. Has everything we needed for competing and functional training. There’s something here for everyone! We love the location and the staff.

I was a member when the gym was a Planet Fitness….boy have things changed. This is a gym that wants to understand your goals and has a dozen different ways to make those happen. The vibe of this gym is best summed up by the owner Claude when he says this is a place of “no judgement “

I've been coming to CTS for a couple of months now. The facility is nice and all the equipment is in great condition. When I was looking for an alternative to the gym I was previously using, I visited CTS. I was impressed by the welcoming staff, and all the reviews that I came across spoke to the friendly, family atmosphere that everyone enjoyed. My experience has been exactly that. In my opinion, it is the best value of any workout facility in town.

Best gym in Sarasota/Bradenton area. The staff are friendly and there’s tons of brand new equipment. Claude has been my trainer for 6 years, before training with Claude I have been in multiple car accidents and had open knee surgery at the age of 24. My doctor told me I had to be put on pain medication. For a while, I was terrified knowing that was going to be part of my life forever. I started going to the gym, not knowing what to do but I was dedicated to change my life, thank God I met claude when I did, I can now do what I love and enjoy life without taking pain meds everyday. I Absolutely love this new gym! This gym has brand new state of the art equipment. Some of the equipment I’ve never seen nor used before, which has led me to ask several trainers for assistance with proper adjustments & proper use of the machines. Love, love, love all the new equipment & the many small training groups with all the different trainers. The trainers are all fun, exciting, energetic & super friendly. They literally work with you at your own pace to help you meet your fitness goal, and OMG…the 24 hour gym access is the cherry 🍒 on top. I can’t say enough positive things about my new trainer Key and Circle The Sun Fitness!!! I was hospitalized for a long time and recently came to her in need of help with my strength training and help losing weight. Key spent time evaluating my needs, actively listening to my concerns and showing genuine concern for my well-being and overall wellness. She planned a one on one personal training session with me and it was AMAZING!!! I’ve signed up and I’m bringing my entire family along. It's been a while since I've enjoyed the gym experience. When I entered Circle the Sun fitness, I felt the warmth of the front desk person greeting me "Good morning" as she checked me in. The atmosphere reassured me that I would receive an intense workout. After my session was over, I started to think about the other things that I needed to do for the day. As I was leaving the gym, one of the personnel and one of the owners said, "Have a nice day," and the tone automatically changed my mood from the onset of the stress of my next event to assurance that I would be able to conquer my day.

The best gym I have experienced and this is coming from someone who’s been working out for almost 15 years and has tried many commercial gyms. Excellent equipment that really targets the muscles as intended and has everything I need for all of my workouts. Great free weight selection from dumbbells barbells and kettlebells to slam balls and wall balls for any type of workout. There are also some unique pieces of equipment I’ve never seen in other gyms that really target certain muscle groups like no other machines do. There’s a wide variety of specialized small group training classes for any fitness goal, the size is limited too so you always have a more intimate experience versus having 50 people in a class. On top of all that the staff, personal trainers, and management are excellent and truly care about every one of their members. Plus there’s 24/7 access, so whether your only time to workout is at 3am or you want to hit the gym before heading to your families for the holidays, it’s always available to you! This is the future of fitness and health!

Circle the Sun Fitness has the best trainers I could imagine. they offer a wide variety of classes and types of workouts, have a beautiful brand new facility with excellent equipment. Personally, I work with Claude and I can say that he is incredibly knowledgeable (as are the other trainers ). Claude tailors workouts specifically to an individual. Everything from diet to exercise to stretching… He knows exactly what he’s doing! I previously hurt my back while working out and had major issues. I was in and out of the doctor at which, they only prescribed medication. Claude did an entire work up of me and even looked at my x-rays and then created a workout plan and stretching regimen for me. I stopped taking any and all medications and was able to recover quickly, to the doctors’ amazement, based off of his plan. Go to Circle the Sun Fitness; you will not regret it! My body looks the best it has in years and I’m 40 years old!
