Downloaded a 3 day guest pass online and when I got there, they told me it wasn’t valid and then made a sarcastic remark as her partner laughed at me. Not impressed with the staff or the gym. Crazy that ppl can show simple kindness and respect these days. Would not recommend this location or getting day passes as they will try to charge you 15$ despite their free day pass marketing online. Dont wast your time driving there unless you plan to pay 15$

I was really impressed by how clean and well-maintained this Crunch Fitness location is. Everything from the locker rooms to the workout areas is spotless and organized. There is a sign that says “female cleaner in men’s locker room” and it’s always just there. Walked into men’s locker room to change and there was no cleaner. Worked out and two hours later the sign was still there and still no cleaner. I go to shower and when drying off a female cleaner walks in unannounced and just starts sweeping. I’m standing there and quickly wrap my towel around myself. You have plenty of men staff there. Just get one of them to do the work or hiring a male custodian.

This place would not let me for the life of them start a membership without a routing and account number. It’s like it’s a religion for them to start an account you get routing account number.

I told him that I was going to put my debit card information. I showed them seven cards they could use and Jason the gentleman helping me start my account, For the life of him would not let me provide him a debit/credit card with my ID.

(Kept taking the iPad from my hand and told me that the system would flag it for not using a routing and account number)

Honestly, wanted to use this gym because it’s the nearest one to my house and they have weights inside of the facility. Both my fiancé and I will be switching over our memberships To another gym.

Paying most expensive membership and wasting time at the front desk to ask or find someone who will turn the hydromassage should not be the issue. Give us code or something so we can help ourselves. Always getting some type of attitude when asking front desk employees to turn on one of them massage chairs , feels like I owe them money all the time .
Another issues cleaning lady always comes and starts cleaning equipment while I’m working out or you go to men’s restroom and shower and she is standing there over there .
This Gym needs to get more professional this is not acceptable.

PERSONAL TRAINING FRAUD!!! Please go look at other one star reviews that have had the same experience! I sighed up with PT but my trainer was trying to peddle his own. He switched gyms and was fired shortly after for his antics. I felt taken advantage of and the belle isle manager was no help at all. They were very confusing when I tried to cancel my PT and there is no one to escalate the issue to. I ended up having to dispute charges with my bank. I thought all was done and then out of the blue was charged for PT at the crunch in Winter Garden where I’ve never been?!?! I had to go to the crunch at East Colonial to get everything settled and they were even confused. I ended up having to cancel my credit card bc they would not stop charging me no matter how many times I cancelled. BELLE ISLE PLAYS DIRTY.

I am writing this review as a serious warning to anyone considering personal training at Crunch Fitness Belle Isle. I canceled my year-long personal training membership in April. Despite the cancellation, I was wrongly charged $174 again in August - October. My trainer, Jbo, immediately apologized and admitted the mistake, confirming he accidentally selected "pause" instead of "cancel." He took full responsibility and escalated the issue, but unfortunately, this is where the management failed completely. The Belle Isle Manager, Joe, and District Manager, JP, refused to issue a refund for the charge, even though their own employee admitted it was their fault. This experience shows a total lack of accountability and a refusal to prioritize customer service when an administrative error is made by their staff. Be warned: if you choose to sign up for personal training here, do not trust verbal assurances of cancellation. Get explicit, written proof that your membership is CANCELED, or you may be charged due to staff error, and management will refuse to make it right. Joe and JP clearly do not prioritize the customer.

Great facility, super cool staff and trainers (most especially Ms. Cevie and Ms. Chastity), very clean, equipment is in great shape I have never seen a busted weight stack or machine, ample squat racks/platforms, sauna is clean (I rarely use it but it's always clean and ripping hot). Overall great vibes, one of my favorite Crunch locations by far and I have been to many.

The 1-star review goes to the front desk employee who blasts the music in the evenings. Completely unnecessary! I've been to several other Crunch locations in the evenings and NONE of them have the music at 150 decibels like this location does. The gym by itself is okay when it comes to facilities. The personal training program is VERY forceful and you are coerced into signing up AND kept locked into the program, even if you are unsure if you want to sign up. Beware of the personal trainers.

Furthermore, when I tried to cancel my membership to transfer to a different gym, I got scammed by the front desk and they made me pay TWICE for the last remaining month. Only when I checked my bank account and showed proof, they said 'Oops, my bad' and extended another month.

Also, I hate the fact that almost everytime I walk in, I am forced by the front desk to post good stuff about the gym on Facebook and Google reviews and they seem to impose this A LOT on almost every customer that walks in.

Please stop forcing clients to give 5 star reviews or have us spam our Facebook with Crunch advertisement.

This gym is a joke. I went in to cancel my account and the young lady at the desk convinced me to freeze instead. When through the process signed electronically and done.

Today I find out that the monthly charge was taken and apparently the freeze was never done. THIS RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEE NAME CHASTITY told me it was not done. Not only did she tell me the account was not frozen but that this has happened before. She proceeded to tell me that she tells everyone to ask for a name because of this issue. The customer should not have to do all this, the staff needs to be trained and not put in a position they don't know how to handle. Somebody needs to tell that little girl that the customer is always right!! And she needs to suck it up, she's in the real world!

I’ve been a member at this location for a while, and while the gym itself is fine, some of the staff come across as petty and childish. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, they turn up the music so loud it feels intentionally disruptive, and on more than one occasion I’ve experienced unnecessary negative comments directed at me. As a paying customer, I expect a professional atmosphere, not passive-aggressive behavior. It’s disappointing because this could be a great gym if the staff focused more on supporting members instead of creating discomfort.

Fun & Thoughtful Coach!
The free session with Coach Edwin was so much fun and light-hearted! I’ve had experiences in past gyms where I pushed myself too hard on leg days and even fainted, so it really meant a lot that he was considerate and thoughtful enough to check in on me and ask if I was okay. That simple gesture made me feel seen and cared for.

THE GIRLS AT THE FRONT DESK DONT KNOW WHAT THEY’RE TALKING ABOUT. If you have Active&Fit, don’t go to this specific Crucnh. & if you do and your phone number doesn’t work, all you need is a barcode on the app or the physical barcode - which would have been a simple adjustment had she had known what she was talking about (because she told us we could only go to that specific Crunch, which is NOT the case after calling Active&Fit.) Also, a friend of mine wanted to use a Guest Pass with Active&Fit. Another girl, who was apparently the “manager”, told me that I needed a bar code. I called Active&Fit & they said that some gyms don’t allow guests passes. And I’m confused as to why the “manager” didn’t just tell me that. Thank God the worker, Caleb, at the front desk was super nice and helpful because the other two clearly didn’t know what they were talking about.

I was ready to cancel my Crunch Fitness membership due to the awful experience at the Kissimmee location. The men's bathroom was overflowing with sewage, equipment is constantly broken, and the staff is unfriendly and unapproachable.
I was relieved to try the Belle Isle location instead. Although it's a 20-30 minute drive, it was worth it. The gym is clean, all equipment works, and the staff, like Jake at the front desk, was friendly and concerned about my previous experience. The difference between the two locations is night and day.

Be careful with this team. They sold me a package of 6 training classes with no expiration date and stated I was able to cancel my sessions up to 1 hour before. They made me sign an electronic contract during the sale and with all these promises. I noticed everything was a fraud while looking for help with the manager Jesse, he agreed to refund my money after showing all the evidence in my phone of the fraudulent sale, but Jesse never refunded my money. He was par of the fraud. I was able to recover my money disputing my card and sending to the legal department all written evidence of this fraud. Now I understand while they have a poor reputation around the area and online.

I used to enjoy working out here. 2 years ago, I moved out of state and called to cancel my membership. I realized maybe a year later that I was still being charged a monthly membership. I tried canceling over the phone and was told I would need to come in in-person to cancel. I then tried having family members who still lived in Orlando cancel this in person for me and were told that I would need to come in and do it myself. I paid for this membership for almost 2 years without being able to cancel. I had to close the bank account linked to my membership so they would stop charging me. I just got a call from the gym and was told that they “really want to forgive” me for the outstanding charges so they “won’t need to send it to collections”. Would not recommend

I was charged for someone else's account, and after I blocked Crunch Fitness from my bank account, they kept changing their name in order to keep making the charge go around my bank's block on them 4 times. I called Crunch Fitness to tell them they were not authorized to charge me for someone else's account, and the manager claimed the person whose account it was owed an annual fee to their gym, and she refused to remove my bank account information from someone else's account and then hung up on me. The 800 number does not have anyone answering it, and I had to close my entire bank account and open a new one. Stay away from this place.

Been training here for over 8 years and I won't be going back anytime soon thanks to manager named Jason. Made a deal with trainers that was not honored by Jason. Jason told me they would find a solution and contact me back, which was a lie. He just cancelled me without my trainer or my knowledge and didn't even bother to let me know. Judging by the competence level I fully expect to see another charge from them in the coming week.

watch out. shady practice. I have no charge first month and they charged me. then said I cant cancel for 3 months. they said oh you should read the fine print. read the fine print guys. then they made me sign up on Facebook and "like" crunch fitness before I could use the facilities. that's how they get their likes. the equipment is rusted....elliptical equipment. it's sad to see they do these practices to get you signed up. Alejandro was very nice and informative but if you mean what you said to me then you would stand up to your management to urge them to not have these misleading practices....unless what he told me was just the smoke and mirrors of these " car salesman " to get you to sign up and buy this product.

I've been coming here for the past 4 months. And I really like the layout and the staff! I constantly see the lady cleaning and sanitizing the machines as well. My coach Victoria is very knowledgeable in fitness and nutrition. Whenever I have a fitness question I typically ask her and she gives me a pretty insight response.

Poor management, lots of broken machines and over crowded. On top of that if you have any billing question no one is responsible, young college kids with no experience run the place so you can imagine.

Front desk staff very friendly on my first day there she told me where everything was when I just asked where the restroom was, I mean hey they are friendly that’s important since I saw some bad reviews about customer service. So far, the community is very nice and everyone focused on their own area with cardio upstairs and weights downstairs and a hit zone too I’m still learning about this location but so far so good.

This gym is not friendly to deaf individuals. I remember a staff member named Amy, who was quite rude to me and became strict for no apparent reason when I made a request. I want to warn other deaf gym-goers to avoid this gym. The male and female staff members are very arrogant and often look down on me, showing little willingness to interact. Very discrimination

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The customer service at this location is absolutely horrendous. I was given completely wrong information about billing from 2 people including a manager at this location. When I spoke with another manager, Jamie not once did she acknowledge and/or apologize that one of her managers relayed false information. She made the excuse that "he's very new". She was very condescending during our conversation. It is very obvious that her staff has no idea what they are doing. Do yourself a favor and consider these reviews before signing up at this location. I wish I would have.

I had to be out of the country for a while and could not cancel the membership in person. However, on several occasions I tried to communicate with them and they did not respond, it is practically impossible to cancel the membership if you are not physically at their headquarters. They have been literally stealing my money.
