I’ve been going to this gym for like 20 years and the past year it’s gotten really bad. I keep trying to change my time to workout but it seems like no matter what time I go they are blasting their music so high I can hear it over my headphones (while my headphones are at the highest volume). I’ve complained multiple times but management is horrible and they don’t care. Time to switch gyms. If you’re over the age of 18 you will hate this gym. If you’re 18 and under and looking for a good club that fronts as a gym this is your place.

Wanted to make people aware to clean off your equipment thrice!!! One of my friends got a really bad fungal infection from this poorly kept facility. Normally I wouldn’t even write a review but it’s worth noting the staffs unwillingness to work with them or issue a refund, stating there were no proof. At the end of the day the cost of business is not to argue with your customers, especially considering they’re going through a painful, embarrassing, and expensive dermatology appointments because of this facilities poor equipment hygiene. I think it’s horrible that they would argue with you instead of just giving a refund. As if any business doesn’t have profit and loss due to these types of things… Instead, they argued and didn’t wager the cost of business. That’s fine. People can write about it in the reviews and make a decision not to even choose this gym in the first place because they can be aware of how you’re gonna handle the situation. So if you are concerned, you could get a fungal infection at a poorly maintained gym and be confident its staff won’t refund your membership this is the place for you!! Otherwise I highly recommend other options! Instead choose a place that isn’t argumentative. If you get food poisoning at a restaurant and you let management know at a restaurant their food made you sick. You don’t argue. It’s something else you ate, you just refund that Customer and understand the experience they went through and that compassion goes much further then the argument. The pettiness alone should drive you away.

10/18 Saturday. My locker was broken into completely in the men’s locker room after it being locked. The door was broken off the hinges when I came back after a workout. Only thing left was my sandals. tshirts,towels were stolen. I come as a guest and this will be the last time my girlfriend and I come to this gym.

I've been a member at Crunch Bloomingdale for over 2 years, and I'm impressed with the consistent quality and upgrades. The recent renovation brought a fresh look and new equipment, including the awesome central football field zone! The gym is always clean, and equipment is generally in working order. Occasional issues are quickly resolved by the maintenance team.

I love the large class studio on the left side - it's a great spot to escape the busier and noisier main gym, and stay focused. The equipment and amenities are plentiful, and I've never had trouble finding what I need. Peak hours can be busy, but my usual time of 5-6 AM weekdays or 7-8 AM weekends is never too bad.

The trainers are top-notch! Melissa was fantastic during my double complimentary sessions - super positive, knowledgeable, and supportive. She pushed me to new levels while being compassionate and understanding.

The front desk staff are always cheerful, helpful, and provide excellent customer service. What truly stands out, though, is the gym's diverse community. As someone who was initially intimidated about joining a gym, I've felt welcomed and comfortable here. People of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities work out together in a supportive environment. I've never felt out of place, and that's priceless. Highly recommend Crunch Bloomingdale to anyone looking for a positive and motivating gym experience!

I had a horrible experience on at this location on 10/17/2025 9pm I walked in and asked if I can work out for just today im a guest with my dad's membership they didn't allow that which i completly understand. Then I asked if I can sign up for free trail and get in just to use it for 1hr the man working that night said No the free trial is for 1st timers and it will cost me $16 to work out for 1 day litteraly they say $10 a month and charge $16 a day for non members. Anyways customer service from that staff was unwelcoming. Im definitely getting my dad to cancel from here worst experience!!!!

Would not recommend this corporation to anyone. Take your business elsewhere. My husband and I signed up for a membership a year and a half ago. Used it for a couple months and then life happened, we weren't able to use it going forward. Our bad for waiting so long to cancel and wasting the money, over $1000 in monthly fees. When we finally made it in to cancel our membership today, they made us pay for another month as a "cancellation fee". Apparently you only have to pay this if your next billing cycle is within 30 days....hmm, isn't your next billing cycle always in 30 days? I asked to speak with the manager as I feel it's wrong to charge a whole next month when I am canceling today, they replied with it's "corporate policy" and nothing can be done. I was not under a contract period so why would I have to pay another month? Almost $90 more dollars just to continue not using their gym. We have to stop giving corporations who operate like this business. When we do, they will change these thieving practices.

I have LOVED my time and experiences here at Crunch but sadly am moving to an area they do not have Crunch Gyms. I had the honor to train with Melissa Colon who was AMAZING!! She listening and heard what my goals included and created personal sessions including a “fun” Friday session that included all aspects of my training goals. I would recommend anyone work with her. I'm here at least 5 days out of week. and they get to know you on a first name basis ,If you ever have any questions about your form and or workouts they're more than willing to help. and they also have personal trainers on board,many different classes that you can take through out the day , an in house day care cycling classes etc .I really feel at home oooohhh and the have a sona,massage chairs and a tanning booths. Definitely a great place to reach your fitness goals....

Do not give the franchisee of this location any money. I had signed up a few years ago for a rate of $9.99 a month, which increased to $22 a month this year. I had stopped going altogether when I came back from a hiatus and one of the employees joked about how I clearly hadn’t worked out in a long time. I tried to cancel my membership online but couldn’t do that. I tried to cancel my membership on the phone but was told I couldn’t do that. When I came in to cancel in-person, the guy working there was very polite but informed me that I would have to pay for one extra month of membership (it’s currently August and my membership will be billed through October) which is ridiculous.

Even if the franchisee’s scummy billing practices are legal, they should be discouraged and I hope this review dissuades someone from putting more money in the pockets of them.

If you don't workout here on your way to work then you will have no issues. I've been coming here over 4 years now with an active full time member for 3 of those. Almost every other week there is an issue with the water. Either no hot water, no water, water cutting in and out during the shower of extremely low water pressure. Today was probably the 5th or 6th time where there was no water and they don't send out any advance notice. I drove 20 minutes to get here and and as I'm scanning in they say the water is out. Every so often they send out a survey after you workout asking about your visit. Multiple members and I comment on the water issues literally every single time. I know I've done it probably 10 times now. They just spent a bunch of money renovating the place and did nothing for water issues. Time to find a new gym. I will say though the staff is awesome. All the trainers and front desk folks seem like cool people. Just management/ownership obviously aren't concerned about fixing actual issues or listening to the surveys. Don't waste my time asking me to complete a survey if you know you're not going to do anything.
