Joshua Jennings at the Six Mile/ Colonial Blvd Crunch is fantastic! This is my first time having a personal trainer. He pushes me to finish each set. And he never asks me to do any training that he can't do. He's part biggest fan, therapist and he's dedicated to helping me succeed.

The space is way too small, the gym gets too crowded and cramped, and there's not enough equipment. Even on a mid Monday morning in November you find yourself waiting for a bench and a treadmill, which is beyond frustrating and ridiculous. This Crunch needs to move a larger location or expand the existing one.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This gym is absolutely unethical. My mom was a member here. A trainer told her he’d like to train her. She agreed and apparently signed a contract. She had early Alzheimer’s. The trainer worked with her for the sessions. Suggested more sessions and she signed another. The trainer is well aware of her memory issues. She does not have the money for this. When my sister went in to inquire about $100 per week cost she was told too bad she signed a contract. This gym is swindling money from people with Alzheimer’s. Absolutely horrible!

Probably the worst gym experience I’ve ever had. When u first signed up two years ago, I signed up for the peak membership as at the time you could bring a friend and I thought I may use the workout classes, fast forward and they conveniently change it to where you can only bring a friend if you have the top membership, and I find myself not making use of any of the classes. So I ask to drop down to the base membership, I’m told that since I’m still in my contract, I had to wait to renewal period to do this since I had signed a year contract, otherwise they would charge me $70. Fine, understandable, well yesterday I go in on my renewal day, to change to the base membership, and again, all of a sudden the rules change and now I STILL will have to pay $70 to lower my membership, even though I just paid a $70 annual fee. I ask why cause I was told earlier that if I did this today, then I could drop my membership to base membership at no charge. The lady I talked to was so rude, unhelpful and condescending. Wish I would have caught her name. Basically it was pay the $70 or keep paying monthly for amenities I’m not using. I just feel totally scammed, and it is so sad that a huge franchise gym with locations all over the country and tons of money wants to nickel and dime working class people who are just trying to better themselves by getting a workout in. I’m extremely disappointed, do better Crunch Fitness. Needless to say I canceled my membership.

Crooks.

Refuse to cancel my membership. Just keep charging me.

I went as far as changing my card and they called me to get the new number.

Won’t even knowledge the fact that they’re been over charging me all summer and won’t cancel my membership despite not even living in the state for over a year.

Wish i could rate zero stars. Predatory practices and misleading information for fees and charges that you will randomly get out of the blue with no warning. Signing up for crunch is only any good if you want to be scammed by their annual maintence fee and to go through the ringer trying to cancel with them.

Kiru has been my trainer for the past 1.5 months. He has been the trainer I’ve ever had. He is very knowledgeable about muscles, exercises, and overall physical health. He motivates me and always makes sure I’m
doing the exercises correctly. I always look forward to my sessions with him.

Do not go to this gym unless you want to be swindled out of money. I canceled my membership because my personal trainer was transferring to another gym and I wanted to keep our routine. Meanwhile, he fired my trainer before her time was up and still owes her $2000. Not to mention another trainer that left a month prior to that, he still owes him $6000. I reached out to the manager Steve about the cancellation and he assured me of my refund of 4 training sessions that I had left which equaled $200. They wound up still charging me for my membership plus got charged $100 on 2 separate occasions. Where that $100 charge came from, who knows? When this happened, I spoke with Steve once again and he said I would be reimbursed the money owed to me. When it didn’t happen, I disputed the charges with the bank and received a refund through them. Needless to say, at this point I’m very upset about the way these people are doing business. I’ve called and called time and time again and Steve refuses to speak with me and has his workers take messages or act as go- betweens. Which is making him look like a coward and a cheat. It’s been a month and still no $200 that I’m owed. This is bad business to treat your employees and customers this way. Businesses should be run with honor and integrity, not like this!

I see where there have been other instances with bad reviews and the gym replies that they are going to change but obviously this is not true because here I am giving yet another bad review on the same issue.

I don’t know what is wrong, but you can not change you home gym, or cancel you membership, last 3 months i spent 4 days in week caling and going to gym and asking for change, they still did not do that! When you go in gym to talk eith workers they say “we will take note and supervisor will finish that”…. When you call them they take your detals and say “it’s finished” and gues what… 3 months after still same problem….

Our world today is in a sad state! When in a two year period you tried six times at Crunch Under a silver sneakers Membership, which means you’re over 65 and you’re paying insurance to cover your gym membership.

You would think you might get some respect. Today I had a conversation with Steve the new general manager at the Summerlin location in Fort Myers. I had privately emailed him concerning the situation on Tuesday with his trainer, KIRU.

Two years ago, I had a similar situation at the same exact location and sat through one of their one hour sessions at a black table when you come in the front door. That gentleman was from California and only had just moved here. He was Angry after me spending an hour of my time with him because I was not going to spend $400 a month for a personal trainer.

We all have choices in life, we all know our own body especially over 65 years old.

Some have had many orthopedic issues and spent immense amount of times in physical therapy, which includes working out at physical therapy. Plus hundreds of thousands of dollars As a functional medicine, patient. Because medicine is a disaster. Well I guess we can include some Gyms:( So very sad

When Steve would not reply to my email, he called and left me a message on a day that I was assisting my 88-year-old mother. Along with helping my 74-year-old brother( A bone cancer patient) prepare for a Colonoscopy. On top of that a call came in first thing yesterday morning, that my niece 36 years old was found deceased in her bed no answer until we get an autopsy.

Steve decided to call me back and leave a message but I could not handle everything that was going on yesterday because I was in severe pain from my 40 minute meeting with his trainer Kiru .

Since Tuesday, Wednesday now, Thursday, I’ve been on ice packs and heating pads because of the severe pain in my shoulder and all over my body because this trainer did not care enough to listen to me to explain and take into consideration my petite stature.

When I reached out to Steve, he was so angry and verbally abusive. I didn’t understand why he was trying to attack me. He said that I harassed his employees he made up all the stories. Finally, he says to me. I’m a hot potato. I said well I know you’re a hot potato, but what’s going on?

He said I took over this gym two months ago and it’s a mess, I thought maybe we were gonna have a conversation at that point but no matter what I said he was accusing me of things that never happened or occurred. Just a very, very angry man.

I’ve tried to find an email or a phone number for Crunch Corporate. It is nowhere to be found all it does is loop you back in to the website? So against my better judgment, I am putting this review here.

The CEO is Alexis Bianco. She’s based out of New York although no email or phone number. Contact is available.

I just want to help anyone going to the gym. Don’t let anybody tell you, especially if you petite like me that you must sit in a machine that doesn’t fit your body and do a workout. That’s only gonna cause you severe pain Indefinitely. The time that I’ve spent nurturing my body to functional medicine and physical therapy after breaking my shoulder Is essential to no one ever touching me again or telling me what I should do.

Steve Should not be speaking to clients at all. He’s got personal anger issues.

I’m a business professional and have lived in this county for 43 years. I’ve managed 10 Dental offices eight bank branches. I’m a Frontline fundraiser for Lee county schools Golisandros Children’s Hospital.

Just because they wanna sell you a trainer and a monthly fee make sure that their licensed that they have a degree in physical therapy and that they don’t permanently set you back after all the hard work that you’ve already done. It just comes down to respect and greed. There’s many many good trainers at this location. You just have to make sure you find the right one. I recommend Talon.

Do not join this gym unless you have a financial domination fantasy. Have you ever heard of how difficult it is to cancel a gym membership? The issue may as well originate with Crunch, who have ignored my multiple inquiries for cancellation. Twice in three months since relocating, I have requested cancellation and gone completely ignored. It isn't an accident. They have constructed a wholly deliberate set of obstacles to ensure you are bled for your membership fee every month. I have used other area gyms and had none of the problems I had with Crunch. Look elsewhere.

I’m leaving this review specifically because of my experience with a manager named Allison. I had been trying to resolve a personal training cancellation for weeks, speaking with various staff members and my trainer, who assured me things were being handled and that I would be fine since the payment hadn’t gone through.

When I finally spoke with Allison, I was taken aback by how rude, dismissive, and unprofessional she was. I tried to calmly explain my situation, but she continually spoke over me, didn’t listen, and made me feel small and disrespected. I’m not a confrontational person, and I was simply trying to find a solution—but her tone and attitude made the entire experience uncomfortable and upsetting.

A manager should be someone who leads by example and treats people with basic respect. Sadly, that was not the case here. This interaction alone made me consider canceling my entire membership, because no one deserves to be spoken to the way I was.

Over a year ago I was looking for a gym close to my home that was affordable. My employer gives all employees a card with a monthly balance (I believe $40) to work on ourselves. A while back the gym got taken over by crunch fitness, and I had to say the place inside is a lot different and nicer. What I did not notice is that my membership was changed from the basic level to the advanced level. I am a little mad at myself because I have not been checking my balance, but when I get hit with a $50 yearly clean charge and my work card did not go through, I was alerted.
I visited today just to find out that I was moved to the advanced level ($19.99 to $39.99 a month since the company change), and that to cancel had the pay another month. I paid the cleaning charge and next month's membership, but will not be returning.

Been going to the Summerlin location for the past 4+ years, have seen a continued decline it the quality of equipment and staff. I counted at-least a dozen pieces of equipment today with "duck tape" on the seats, pads and rollers. The duck tape was applied with the minimal coverage amount to cover the worn area and all are already curling up from the use so it would grab your skin or hair, its terrible..Some people just pulled the duck tape off because is wasn't protecting anything. The Black Rubber workout mats seem to be the same old worn out ones from 4 yrs ago, and very limited if you are lucky to find one to use.. One of the StairMaster/elliptical machines has had a repair sign on it for 6months or more and the others are kind of worn as well.. The tricep rope pull downs are all frayed and the hand grips for the machines are limited to one set and shared by ever other machine. Again, if you are lucky with those hand grips to get them, otherwise you have to wait... Everything at this location is worn and the staff just isn't very friendly... occasionally the staff will acknowledge you.. This location is in serious need of a walk-through by the management / owner and document the issues and fix the frayed and damage equipment before someone gets injured.

Overall Crunch is good. But this location (Summerlin) needs some serious help. People working there are totally clueless. Don't bother asking them any questions or for any information about anything whatsoever. The apathy is glaring. Also they have very few options in terms of classes. I joined Crunch for their classes, and this location lacks in that department. Barely anything for folks who work regular hours. No barbells for the classes. No mats to be found. In comparison to other crunch gyms, this one is seriously lacking. It's like the folks who opened this place only half-hearted it. Too bad. It's the most convenient location for me. I may have to switch if they don't step it up soon.
PS the good reviews seem to be talking about the Boyscout location... that one is good.

I'm giving 3 stars because the place does offer a lot of equipment and the front desk staff was polite and professional, good vines, that's where the experience ended for me.

So, I was planning to pay for a membership today, but I was a tagalong with my wife who had a personal training session. She wanted me to join her but the trainer spoke only to her in a room full of music, I have only 20% hearing in my left ear, so no clue what he was saying at all. He never invited me to join in any of the stations she did, she asked him if it was okay on the first, the second he ignored me, so I just stood, the third he set out a kettle bell for her and explained something, she started the exercise and I just began to wander after a few more moments.

Having been inactive for years and suffering from a 44 year old "dadbod," I was very insecure with the crowded atmosphere of much more fit people. I found a station open in the rear with barbells. Threw 100lbs of weight on and started doing some deadlifts. The next thing I know some rude patron with a bodybuilder physique walked straight up to me and asked me how long I'm going to be. I had only done 8 of 10 reps and was on the station less time than it took from him to walk from the front desk straight back to me. I said, "it's cool, I was just leaving," and walked right out the front doors. I'd say, never to return again, but when I got to the car I realized they held my license inside and I returned to grab it, then left to wait for my wife as she finished up her routine with her much more attractive trainer Adrian Paul. (he looked so like the Highlander, very jealous)

If you already look great and feel confident, this is a perfect place I guess. If you struggle with image, the atmosphere here isn't the most welcoming. It really made me feel extreme anxiety inside. After the front desk it wasn't a very welcoming place, I felt looked down upon.

Scammers, stealers, absolutely unprofessional. I cancelled my membership in September 2024 and continued to get charged fees until November 2024 when, after calling twice a week for five weeks, my membership was finally properly cancelled. I have proof of my cancellation in September of 2024 and have been told several times that I would be refunded for my over charged membership fees but have been given the run around. I have called every week inquiring about the refund and have never once been connected with the manager. I am constantly given some kind of excuse as to why my money hasn't been refunded, why the manager cannot speak to me, and lied to in general. I was told by an associate to stop calling and that the money would be refunded in 14 days the FIRST TIME I was promised my refund (December 2024). After 18 days of not receiving my refund I finally reached back out and was told by an associate that they "do not process refunds in the actual location" and they advised me to call some ABC number. After speaking with a representative of that company I was informed they are only a third party service and do not initiate refunds, they only process them and that the original refund had never even been initiated, proving that they had continued to give me the run around for nothing. In January 2025 they "initiated" the refund again, and to no ones surprise I never received that one as well. After calling multiple times in the past week and being told "the manager would call me by the end of the day" with what is going on with my money I am officially giving up, of course this is just what they want. Absolutely greedy and unprofessional, the fact that I had to call back every week for FOUR months straight to get anyone to "work on" my refund. The fact that the manager NEVER attempted to call me, rectify the situation, or even just tell me they were never planning on refunding me so that I could stop wasting my time. As a small business owner this behavior is extremely unprofessional and a bad representation of the company. Absolutely ridiculous, don't join unless you like being scammed out of your money. :)

Every time I come to this gym, I’m harassed to show my ID, which is frustrating and unnecessary. I prefer the month-to-month payment plan because the alternative hits you with a $100+ maintenance fee in the second month, and canceling is a nightmare. To make matters worse, it often takes five staff members to check you in, which feels more like an intimidation tactic than anything else. While the equipment is decent, the gym is run in an incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming manner. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Three weeks ago, I wrote a 5 star review about my personal trainer at Crunch, Kiru, which still holds true. I am writing this review in regards to their management staff, which SUCKS!!! I´m afraid that they simply don´t care about their clientele, only about the money! I suspended my membership in March 2024, as a result of ill health, was told that, at that time, I had already built up 14 credits for personal training, but that there were no refund options. In April, I was admitted to Gulf Coast Hospital, which transferred me to Tampa General, two hours away, followed by Assisted Living for two months. After returning home 4 months later, I found that Crunch had restarted automatic payments after only two months and with no regard to my circumstances...¨that´s just our policy¨. I called Amex and blocked any future payments, and suddenly Crunch started hitting my checking account, I know not how!!! I provided Crunch with copies of our emails discussing my situation and heard nothing! Upon further inquiry at the front desk, the ¨very helpful¨ guy said ¨trust me, you´re not going to get your money back...get an attorney if you want, and we´ll use ours¨!. I ended up having about 35 credits, and admit, I actually used them over the next 3 months. Two weeks ago, I walked in, talked to the front desk, told them that I was moving to Spain, which is where I sit now, and would like to cancel my membership. They said that they could not cancel at the weekend, and to come back Monday. I emailed Crunch requesting cancelation and return confirmation of such, and...guess what...I have heard NOTHING! Don´t trust these guys!!! Certainly don´t set up anything on automatic payment!!! It´s a rotten organization and the poor, well informed personal trainers are aware of the burden that they work under! GREAT PERSONAL TRAINERS!...¨ROTTEN-TO-THE-CORE¨ MANAGEMENT, AND THEY KNOW IT!!!
BEWARE!!!

Today, 21 Nov 2024 at 5:20 am, a rat came running out of the women's locker room towards the front door. I was surprised seeing it but also surprised nobody on the treadmills or stair steppers saw it.
I told the young man at the front desk what happened and he replied that he's made the owner aware of the problem several times and then he apologized for it.

I had the most frustrating experience with Crunch Fitness on Summerlin Road, and I feel completely deceived by their marketing and customer service. I signed up online in August after seeing an ad promotion for a "New $5 Million Gym," which I assumed was for the Boy Scout location. However, when I went to the Summerlin gym, I was told that it was a separate location with no connection to Boy Scout, and they could do nothing to help me downgrade to the basic $10 membership I wanted.

To make matters worse, they immediately charged me a $60 annual fee, and now I'm stuck having to pay it again at the Boy Scout location, which was my intended gym all along. The only solution they offered was to cancel my membership and sign up again at Boy Scout, which means I lose out on that $60 fee and the hassle of starting the whole process over.

Summerlin needs to do the right thing here. They should refund me for the annual fee or at the very least, pay it on my behalf to the Boy Scout location. It's incredibly frustrating to feel misled by a company that clearly doesn’t care about its customers. I will not be returning and would caution anyone else considering Crunch Fitness to be wary of their misleading advertising and poor customer service.

I like this gym. Its not the newest and biggest gym but it is clean and the people who work out there are friendly. Most of the front counter staff greet you instead of just staring at the computer as you check in. The mats really need to be replaced and the treadmills are getting old. For me he best thing about Crunch is my trainer Kiru. I have tried to work with a trainer a few times in the past but never stuck with it. I always ended up over doing it and hurting myself with past trainers. Kiru is just so knowledgeable and he takes the time to show you the correct form and make he makes sure I stay in that form as I do the exercise. He motivates me not only on strength training but on stretching and adding in the cardio. He knows me now and can push me because he has earned my trust. He keeps me coming in.

I started going to Crunch, on Summerlin, 6 months ago, where I was introduced to Kiru, an onsite physical trainer. I barely had the energy to walk!!! He encouraged me to pay attention to my diet, and I signed up to train with him. I can now do 30 mins. on a treadmill, bike, and he makes me do all the stuff that I hate doing, but that is necessary. (Let´s face it, I wouldn´t do it without being told to do it!). I will forever, be thankful for my return to "functionality" and Kiru was instrumental in the process. He is caring, encouraging where necessary. and I appreciate that he monitors my aches, pains and progress on a daily basis.

I am just another 1 star review added to the many others elaborating on how this location STEALS YOUR MONEY. It is a losing game if you ever decide to cancel your membership. I have been working as a sales representative for many years and this has to be the WORST I have ever seen. Front desk staff are clueless and do not know their own policies or what they are even selling. Manager was hard to get a hold of, just as it has been stated in many other reviews. It was not until I asked for the regional manager that I was able to speak to her. My first "free month" was not free. The $9.99 is actually $20 a month. For $10 more, just go to SMASH gym!!!! Best SWFL gym!! I wish I never left lol.
What was meant to be one free month and $9.99 monthly turned to $100 to just cancel.
They also cannot cancel your membership unless it is done in person... we are approaching 2025 and they don't have any links? I was told to call back once i am charged the $100. Will update if they disappoint any more lol. Many people state that even when they cancelled their membership, crunch CONTINUED TO CHARGE THEM. We will see...
Poor management, poor training, & if i could give 0 stars I would.
I hope people look at these reviews before even thinking about joining so that their sanity is saved.

Old outdated equipment, even if it’s brand new, it’s been out for 25 years and there are much newer versions specific to bodybuilding…. So many people, it makes a lot of money, but no machines are available when the gym is basically, free to join..
Pay an extra $25 per month and go to a gym that values the customers working out fitness rather than just about the balance sheet..

Dropped LA fitness and joined Crunch! They are totally redoing the former around the clock locations. Got in for 9 bucks a month and their hours are so much easier than LA fitness. More local locations and longer hours for less money, kind of no brainier. Can't wait to see what it looks like when they are finished with the remodeling but there are still tons of equipment open even at peak hours right now 👍💪

My family are long time members of the gym on boyscout in Fort Myers which is now part of the Crunch Fitness network. They are renovating this location and by the looks of it we are excited to see the amount of money spent on new equipment and amenities. During the renovation at Boyscout we went to the Crush Fitness on Summerlin to see what the finished product was and to get a workout in without worrying about construction. Our reception was horrible. Immediately we were made to feel unwanted at that location. They told us they are not part of the corporate Crunch company, that they are separately owned and that they doubted we had had the level of membership necessary to work out at multiple locations. I assured them I did and they called another location and verified it but then changed their story that because I wasn't in their computer yet, an event that would happen in a couple days, that theydidnt want us working out there unless we paid a day rate. We received the same cold shoulder from the employees at the front desk, the manager, and the regional manager. Nonetheless we did want to work out so I paid the day rate fee. It was not worth it. The locker room was more like a small bathroom and not well kept. There was not much of a selection of free weights or the selection of equipment and circuits that arr at most gyms. Nothing special at all about the gym and the people were uninterested and uninviting. We will not return. I'd rather work out in a gym under construction with noise and dust than return to Summerlin. They do not represent the brand well. When we discussed this with the Boyscout location they went out of their way to apologize for Summerlin and we have can not wait to see the finished product.

I had no problem with the gym itself. When I needed to cancel my membership, the staff made it extremely difficult. I called the gym explaining I needed to cancel my membership and I was unable to come in. They told me to email their management to request a cancellation. I immediately emailed them and still have never heard back (it's been a month and still no reply). After a week of no reply, I ended up going in to cancel my membership. The staff wasn't able to assist me for at least 20 minutes because one specific person needed to handle the cancellation. Once I am speaking with someone, I am explaining why I needed to cancel (due to moving and finances). She said "well, it's not like you are ever going to a gym again". She asked me if I was getting a job in the new area I was moving to. She asked "do you even like it here?" I am so surprised how rude and unprofessional the company is when you need to cancel. If you decide to go here, make sure you really are committed because it sure is a hassle to cancel.

Air conditioning has not worked since last Thursday. It’s 77 degrees at 9 am Monday. When I told the desk people last Thursday , they said they didn’t know anything about it and didn’t know what to do. I heard that Ryan the former manager has been promoted and three people do not know who is in charge today. Three different people said they didn’t know who was the manager. Customer service classes might be helpful.Update: Ryan was back on Tuesday and the air conditioning was being worked on. I spoke to her about 3 different people stating they did not know what to do about the broken A/C and not knowing who the manager is. She seemed concerned and said the problems would be addressed with the staff.

A lot of false advertising. It said on line I could join for $1 but was then charged a $63.89 initiation fee and a prorated annual fee of $10.64. Thinking this was a mistake, I visited the gym to clarify. They just said that was the charges. I joined the 2nd level for $15.96 per month because it said cancel at any time. When I cancelled I was advised I must give a 30 day notice plus pay the $63.89 annual fee because I canceled before 90 days. What happened to the no commitment I signed up for. I was told to send an email to the manager which I did and received no response. This is a horrible way to conduct business. Buyer beware.

Unfortunately, the details of my experience at Crunch did not end well. Despite telling my trainer that I no longer could continue my training sessions I was charged for 4 more weeks of training. When I addressed this with the manager he refused to listen or acknowledge that I had informed my trainer, even though my trainer told me he had spoken to the manager. Then I was charged "an annual membership fee" because I apparently resigned just before my membership fee was due. This place will rob you blind and there is no recourse. The facility isn't that great anyway. I was always afraid to walk into the ladies changing area as there was constantly a noxious smell and the. toilets were always dirty. This place was not worth the headache and they should be ashamed of taking advantage. Definitely will tell everyone about my very dissatisfying experience. My father and I wanted to workout together while he was visiting from out of town so we explored local Gyms and Crunch Fitness unfortunately ended up being the place we chose to go. Our first day there we tried to signup for a weekly pass because we knew we would not keep the membership going for even 2 weeks (he was only in town for a week). Upon trying to do this we were persuaded by the employee at the front desk to sign up for a month to month membership instead of the weekly. We specifically asked her "If we do what you're suggesting and we cancel a week later will we be hit with any other fees like an annual fee?" her response was very clear that "No if you cancel within the first month you will not be charged ANYTHING ELSE." This ended up being a complete lie as when we tried to cancel the membership the Gym owner (Ryan) told us we signed the agreement and its our fault we are in this situation. She took zero ownership for her employees lying to us to coerce us into the monthly subscription (probably because Ryan trains them this way) and did not seem to care about fixing the situation one bit when I came into the gym. We were forced to pay an extra $100 just to cancel our membership which shows me the owners really only care about their bottom line and not their cutstomers. If you don't want to get duped into overpaying for a gym membership then AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

The locker and restroom facilities need to be cleaner/renovated to make this gym fundamentally better. Could also use a few more pieces of high demand equipment like the cable multifunction machine. I’ve been coming to this location once or twice a year for the past 6 or 7 years. The gym was always decent- kinda slow and ok selection of equipment. Over the years I started to see the equipmemt age and not be maintained properly and the level of cleanliness was in rapid decline. Fast forward to now and my most recent experience exceeded expectations. I was greeted by a very friendly staff member named Ryan who quickly got we set up with what I needed. I came in on a 3 day pass and what I noticed each of those 3 days was a high level of customer service amongst all staff members, respectful and friendly patrons, and a very clean facility which as a gym owner, I always appreciate seeing as it represents pride in the workplace and a ‘we care’ attitude towards its members. The Federal Trade Commission says it receives thousands of complaints every year from crunch fitness consumers who are being plagued with recurring charges that they either weren't able to cancel or didn't know they were signing up for in the first place. There is a new law being proposed to require an online cancellation process, not just for Crunch yet all gym memberships. Because of Crunch Fitness deceitful business tactics, all consumers will now have a means to gracefully end their memberships with any organization requiring an online registration process to become a member. Thank you for making this happen, without the complaints from Crunch Fitness customers this bill would have never passed the house.

I was excited to join this gym at first. However, I prefer weights to cardio machines. There were too many occasions where a group of men would hog all of the squat racks and the free weight area. If they were to walk away and you try to use it, then puff up their chest and try and intimidate you off the machine saying they still need it because they are super setting. To the point where I often left before I could finish my workout. I made a few attempts to cancel my membership and finally they replied saying they will cancel but insist on charging me for the month. Especially when their records can clearly see it’s been so long since I’ve used their facility. I feel they’ve gotten enough free months out of me. Maybe they are hurting and need my extra $10? Poor customer service. Especially since their own employee I spoke to yesterday agreed that the men there have gotten out of control.

Cardio equipment never gets repaired. A treadmill has been out of service since August and they changed the date on the notice to make it seem like it just broke down this month. Meanwhile the treadmill next to it is now out of service and the one next to it will be out of service soon because the belt is starting to rip like the others.

The new set up with the HIIT class in the middle of the gym is terrible. Does not make it an enjoyable experience for the rest of the members.

I am a retired military 🪖 man and when visiting Fort Myers I prefer Crunch Fitness. They have assorted Pre core ellipticals including my favorite versatile AMT- open stride, plus a wide array of weight training machines and free weights. Clean locker rooms and showers 🚿!

Gets the job done mainly for the price. Very Friendly staff which is good… but the equip is always broken and takes forever to get fixed… and if it doesn’t get fixed it just vanishes off the floor…. The very popular cable machine has been broken since around Christmas…. Treadmills stay broken and just get condensed… one rower has been out of commission forever…
Invest a little in your facility….it will go a long way.
