Female with red hair and piercing is super unprofessional. I have been to this location multiple times before with no problem. I cannot believe Crunch hires people like this. Made backhanded about my race like she isn’t an immigrant as well and misrepresents Crunch branding. The conversation continues and she says she hates working there and there are better gym options around here. I came in as a guest and she sort of scared me off. More astonished that she works there than upset.

I love this gym, it’s clean, new, and has great equipment. However, the staff has been disappointing. A staff member helped me with a machine, which I appreciated. By the end I was struggling because I have been very sedentary due to a heavy college workload load, he ended the interaction by joking, “help, this scary black guy is trying to kill me.” Like what?? Totally unprofessional. For anyone reading this, remember jokes are supposed to actually be funny!!

This isn’t the first unprofessional experience I’ve had here, the staff seem to have poor social skills. It’s ironic because to work in sales (because professional trainers work in sales like I do) good social skills are a vital trait to have.

Another thing I want to add is how sales-y they are, nothing wrong with pitching anything, but learn to read the room… The person you pitch to should only have to say no ONCE, any more no’s than that and you start looking desperate. Like dang once I did a free training session and they came up with a solution to every excuse I gave. I said ‘no’, not ‘convince me harder’. I’ve felt less pressure from someone trying to pitch me their pyramid scheme.

I guess because this isn’t a super expensive gym, they don’t have much experience in sales, building their social skills and have a hard time reading the room, so I’ll let it slide.

So if I ever do personal training, it won’t be at this gym. But the facility itself is great.

This Crunch location suffers from 2 major things in my view.
1) A severe lack of parking because it's over capacity.
2) It also does not provide workout mats for people wanting to do crunches! Hello, Crunch is in your name. The Crunch gym a couple of miles from here in Pembroke Pines has 27 (1) workout mats. Below is a picture of some of the ample mats available in the Pembroke Pines much nicer gym.

The Miami Gardens, in contrast, is the ghetto version of Crunch. They have all of ONE workout mat that is always in use and hard to find.

Update Nov 2025…still waiting on yoga mats. Also for management to fix or replace bikes. 4 out of 5 not working. Hopefully nice trainer Natalie funnels up this request.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at Crunch Fitness, due to several issues that led me to cancel my membership before the required period.
During one of my visits, I brought a guest to work out, following the gym’s policy that requires guests to leave an ID at the front desk in order to enter. When we finished our workout, the staff could not locate my guest’s ID and later admitted that it had been misplaced. Several days went by without any clear response or solution from the gym.
Because of this incident, I spoke directly with the manager to explain the situation and requested to cancel my membership. The manager acknowledged that the loss of the ID was entirely the gym’s fault and authorized me to cancel without penalty.
However, despite this agreement, Crunch Fitness has continued to charge me monthly fees. I have tried contacting the gym several times to resolve the issue, but every time I call, they leave me on hold for long periods and never provide a concrete answer. This situation demonstrates poor customer service, lack of communication, and unprofessional management.
For all these reasons, my experience with Crunch Fitness has been disappointing. I sincerely hope they take responsibility and improve their customer service and internal processes to prevent similar issues from happening to others.

Durante una de mis visitas, llevé a un invitado a entrenar siguiendo el reglamento del gimnasio, que exige dejar una identificación en recepción para poder acceder a las instalaciones. Al finalizar el entrenamiento, el personal no pudo encontrar la identificación de mi invitado y posteriormente admitieron haberla extraviado. Pasaron varios días sin ofrecer una respuesta clara ni una solución concreta.
Ante esta situación, hablé directamente con el manager, quien reconoció que la pérdida del documento fue responsabilidad del gimnasio y me autorizó a cancelar mi membresía sin penalización.
No obstante, a pesar de ese acuerdo, el gimnasio ha continuado cobrando las cuotas mensuales. He intentado comunicarme en varias ocasiones para resolver el problema, pero cada vez que llamo me dejan esperando en la línea durante largos minutos y nunca ofrecen una solución o seguimiento adecuado. Esto demuestra una grave falta de profesionalismo, atención al cliente y compromiso con sus socios.
Por todo lo anterior, mi experiencia con Crunch Fitness ha sido decepcionante. Espero que tomen responsabilidad por sus errores y mejoren sus procesos internos para ofrecer un servicio más serio, eficiente y respetuoso hacia los usuarios.

This gym has such a great vibe! The place is always clean, organized, and has everything you need for a good workout. I truly enjoy this gym. Staff are friendly and helpful. I have noticed the changes and improvement from the equipment working properly and keep the gym clean, but of course it will be more appreciated if members can put back the weights and equipments after using them.

The gym is nice however the bathroom is really disappointing. They never restock the toilet papers and as a woman it’s hard to use the bathroom. When I first came that was one of the main questions I made sure to ask and the girl in the front (Emily) assured me it’s clean and told me she make sure she checks the bathroom on her shift but it was clearly a lie.

I see them reracking all the time and being helpful. the spinning class and the "Work the room" class are my favorite. I've met some of the managers too and they were super nice and helpful. So it is September 25th, approximately 3:41. I wasn't born yesterday but the gyms are the biggest scams in the world. Do not enroll at crunch fitness Miami Gardens. The manager Jamal Taylor specified that I had to pay extra when I spoke to a representative earlier that day then tried to be super condescending about the amount that I'm supposed to pay. When I spoke on the phone with somebody they specified that I only had $26 to pay and they removed my late payment. My credit card was no longer active so they couldn't charge me for a whole year membership. I ended up paying $80.52 because I had to cancel 30 days in advance. Even though I walked in and canceled it, they still charged me for extra 2 months. Do not go here. Trust me when I say do not sign up for a membership at crunch fitness.

visited this location for the first time today and was really disappointed. When I walked in, no one greeted me — not even a simple hello. I explained to the front desk associate that it was my first time at this location, and instead of being welcoming or helpful, he barely acknowledged it. Definitely not the kind of energy you want when you’re trying out a new gym.

On top of that, there was no recovery area available — even though the website clearly stated that recovery was included. That was one of the main reasons I chose to come here.

Overall, the vibe was cold and uninviting. I didn’t feel like a valued member at all. I’d rather spend more money taking a Lyft to my usual location (which is farther away) than ever come back here. Disappointing experience.

I do not recommend this gym. The staff does not explain the gym's policies well, and every month they charge higher monthly fees than the contracts. The representatives do not understand the reason nor do they have an explanation for the clients. I made my monthly payments without a contract, and when I decided to cancel, they told me that due to the contract, I could not cancel and had to give a month's notice. I had chosen the month-to-month plan, which was without a contract. Based on my experience with them, I do not recommend them. I think they are the worst gym of all the companies I know, and the representatives are very unprofessional. The location I attended was Miami Gardens.

I visited this gym during my vacation. I checked in between 7 and 8:30 am. The gym is spacious and well-equipped with a variety of weights. I was training my legs and used the squat racks with platforms for weighting (C&J and snatch) and bumper plates. I didn’t see any Barbell collars, which is usual for crunch, WTH crunch!!. The Barbells were okay with decent spin. I wish they had rep fitness Colorado Barbell or American Barbell bars. I’ve noticed that conventional gyms often have subpar Barbells, but they still get the job done. They had four leg presses and one hack squat. I think they could swap two of the leg presses for another hack squat and a pendulum squat machine. The calf raise machine was very good. Overall, it’s a good gym with potential to be great if they diversify their leg training equipment and pick up better Barbells.

This gym has great equipments and it has different spaces to get your workout done; however, the women’s bathroom is extremely dirty. There’s paper toilet everywhere and the sinks are super dirty and filled with hair. With the amount of staff they have, you would think some would clean it. Also, I had an issue with my membership as I signed up for the 1 cent deal and I was charged $35 after the first week and they couldn’t fix it for me. The music is extremely loud as well.

The transformation from the 24Hr hasn’t been without some challenges!! However the Crunch team made it tolerable with their positivity and enthusiasm! I’ll change this review to 5, just hoping they read it and make these changes, especially since new owners do seem to care:

Gym is too dirty. Invest in more cleaning. The bathroom literally smells, needs more frequent cleaning. At one point, none of the 6 soap dispensers had soap in the men’s bathroom.

More frequent sweeping and vacuuming of the whole gym desperately needed.

More cleaning wet wipe stations needed, and they need to be refilled more frequently. Half of them are constantly empty. Trash can too frequently overflowing with those wipes.

Consider playing the music a bit lower volume. Look at how many of us wear headphones, we want to hear our own music. Most other gyms have that in mind and it’s not nearly as loud.

Too many idle trainers and gym staff to excuse how dirty the gym gets. Change the work culture, upkeep and cleanliness is the everyone’s problem!

Very disappointed with Crunch. I was sold a “one-month trial with no commitment”, and was assured I could cancel anytime. Now that I’m trying to cancel, I’ve been told I’m locked into a 3‑month contract and cannot cancel early.
I feel misled, as the information I was given when signing up was not accurate. This kind of practice creates distrust and leaves a bad customer experience.

I have been a member of Crunch for about a month and I am happy I made the decision to join. I’ve been members of other gyms but usually end up canceling my membership because I didn’t feel the support. Crunch is different. While joining, I also decided to sign up with one of their trainers. And I don’t regret my decision.
My trainer, Markel Williams, is great. He is a pusher, even on the days I don’t want to be pushed. After a month, I have started to see results. My confidence is growing and I’m motivated to reach my fitness goals. Every session with Kel is different because he keeps the workouts challenging. And because he’s committed to my transformation, I feel like I have the support I need.
Not only do I have the support from my trainer but the gym community is supportive as well. I’ve made gym buddies and no one hesitates to push me or give me a word of advice. I’m happy that I made the decision to join.

Disappointing experience

I recently visited the gym with my mother, we both have active memberships. Since it was her first time using some of the machines, I was simply showing her how they worked, which is a normal thing to do between family members. However, a staff member approached me to reprimand me, implying that I was acting as a personal trainer and saying I wasn’t allowed to do that because their supervisors were nearby. I found the situation unnecessary and out of place, especially since I wasn’t violating any visible rules, and there were other people doing the exact same thing without being approached. The way it was handled felt selective and uncomfortable. As a paying member, I felt unfairly singled out and left with a very negative impression. I recommend the gym review its customer service protocols and ensure that any policies are applied clearly, consistently, and fairly to all members.

I like the equipment and the refresh of the gym but I am not liking The staff a lot I was approached in a very rude manner as if I was training a friend of mine to say training is not allowed. I didn’t know I couldn’t give my friend pointers in the gym when we got working out together I didn’t find that very pleasant at all. The attendants need some customer service training. They have no idea how to speak to the members with respect. The 24 hour fitness staff was way better and actually knew how to communicate things in a professional manner. They all need customer service training ESPECIALLY the young ones. Been a member at 24 since the gym opened and never had a bad experience with the staff. Now that crunch took over the staff is awful. Learn how to treat the paying customers with some respect. Always remember without the members there is no gym.

DO NOT JOIN THIS FRANCHISE OR LOCATION!!! Was a member at 24 for 4 years before the switch. No notice that the gym would be closed for a week, no notice it would be under construction and machines would be missing. The new team has made it extremely hard to transition especially the blonde guy now who works at the front counter he was a complete and total douche about letting me work out my first day back after the transfer because I hadn’t switched my card over yet and didn’t bring it with me. Tried to cancel and they said they have a 30 day notice policy so I’m responsible for TWO months of payments in a gym that is NOT FULLY FUNCTIONS and was only open 2.5 weeks last month!!!! DONE with this company and the horrible new staff!

Pesimo horario los viernes cierra 10 pm y los fines de semana a las 7 pm se supone que la mayoria de las personas trabajan y vienen tarde al gym aunque sea deverian poner todos los dias a las 11 pm par cosmo cuando hay concierto o alguna actividad rentan los parqueo y tambien cierran mas temprano o cierran completo.

Crunch just took over the old 24 hour fitness that’s been here for a while now and I couldn’t be happier. This gym needed a change and 24 hour fitness let the gym deteriorate. One week after the change and the feeling is totally different here. The staff is engaged, the renovations are moving quick, and for once I’m excited to go this gym. I’m happy to now be a crunch member! 💪🏼

I was pretty skeptical about joining a gym.. but my experience at Crunch Fitness Miami Gardens has been fantastic thanks to Rob and Mike! From the moment I walked in, Mike made me feel comfortable, taking the time to show me all the great amenities and what Crunch had to offer. Then, Rob sealed the deal by assuring me the positive changes and lifestyle habits that would benefit me as I approach (59)! They bought this from the old 24 hour fitness and i can see the changes already. The staff is engaging and friendly. They’re taking out the basketball court and putting new equipment in. I even saw a maintenance guy in fixing stuff that we were waiting for months to be fixed with 24 hour fitness. Im excited to see what Crunch brings to this gym! Super happy to be a crunch member!

YAMILA REVIEWS - They're fake. This location was a 24 Hour Fitness. I was told it's closed for an entire week during the transition. The transition began on Monday, May 28th.
UPDATE - The gym will be closed today and is reopening tomorrow, 5/6. Thanks to the Zumba instructor Maria for the notice.
