Serial scammers. I have been a member for a whole year and I actually enjoy the gym itself. There are some things I have picked up along the way that have made me cancel my membership IMMEDIATELY:

One of the members created an error and gave me a contract for $20 a month (which I wanted $9.99) and then when I asked to fix it, he said he did (I have proof attached) but it never “went through” so the next month I was charged $20 and I spoke with the nastiest most unprofessional manager I have ever witnessed in my life named jazzy. Jazzy spoke with arrogance and no class. Instead of saying, we apologize for the mistake and making it right she said: “we’re not robots! What do you expect?” she was rolling her eyes speaking over me and raising her voice around other gym members, which was so embarrassing, causing me to be so uncomfortable and upset. Someone like this should not be in a manager position because the customer should be taken care of, especially when there is a LEGAL agreement involved and one party has messed up. Very serious stuff. She forced me to pay for a full year or the three months ($137+) I “had left” and on top of that she has to audacity to charge me a $15 late fee for not wanting to pay for a mistake that THEY caused on their end. Does that even make sense?? One thing that these children need to learn is how to work with customers because when there is a mistake on THEIR end, a business needs to fix it for the customer no matter what.

Unfortunately, I had no choice but to get out as soon as possible so I had to pay such an Expensive amount…. Legal action needs to be taken place for this horrid management. I have learned never to do business with unprofessional and shady businesses like this, especially when legal agreements are being made by children.

They also have a male cleaning the women’s locker room and females are changing & using the restroom while he’s in there. They seriously can’t just hire a woman or get their front desk staff to do it??? Big problem, no action. They also force their members to write 5 star reviews, desperation is strong there.

The gym isn’t the problem, the staff is. Also be very careful with your membership. Here they truly will not give you any money back.

I don’t Recommend this place at all first of all when you sign the contract you can cancel the membership or downgrade onto three months pass by so if by any chance you need to cancel don’t even try, they won’t let you unless you pay the annual fee and the monthly membership price. Due to personal reasons I couldn’t go and only went once, that one time ends up in costing me $170 which is crazy. I’m extremely upset with this place honestly.

I just signed up for this gym because it’s more convenient at the moment. I think what would really help this company would be to implement putting weights back. The gym I was at previously had signs all over the place to put the weights back when you finish. They would also announce it on the speaker every here and there. Imagine if you train your clients to have that etiquette. It would benefit the clients and the staff.

I really struggle with this location because it’s the only one on this side of town and when I travel down from Atlanta it’s my only option.
Probably worst crunch of like 8 states I’ve been to. Always overly packed. Sometimes groups of 4-6 people working in on one machine. Barbell clips are by request only. Bathroom isn’t super clean.

The staff often just hangs at the front, even when the floor and weights are really an unorganized mess

But it’s really just the crowd. It’s crazy how it doesn’t matter what time of day, it’s always extremely difficult to navigate how busy it is form the parking lot to the gym floor

The dusty gym should be called.

Honestly, I can’t recommend this gym. Yes, it’s spacious, but the machines are not great and, on top of that, the cleanliness is terrible. The place always looks dirty. In the mornings, someone walks around with a vacuum, but it doesn’t make a difference—the machines are dusty, the floors don’t feel clean, and it doesn’t seem like they ever do a proper deep cleaning. Considering that over 500 people train here every day, they should take hygiene and maintenance much more seriously. At the end of the day, a gym can have space, but if the machines aren’t good and the place is dirty, the whole experience becomes really bad.

Fui el día de hoy en horas de la mañana por primera vez y ver que tal era el lugar , obviamente por no tener suscripción pague $19.36 mi interés era entrar en una clase, no me dijeron que pagar ese monto era solo para usar máquinas y luego que pago y estoy dentro para asistir a una clase entra la chica que me hizo el cobro y me dijo que en dicha clase no podía estar ... ok se le comunico al manager lo sucedido y pues simplemente no podía asistir, cosa que no me dijeron al momento de pagar, pido la devolución de mi dinero y este simplemente dijo que no. This gym is okay. The only reason why I go here is for the variety of machinery they have but if it werent for that I would invest my money elsewhere. The staff here sucks at being accommodating and can always be found speaking amongst themselves. Not to mention you can’t work out in peace without their private trainers coming up to harass you to sign up for a session. I have seen many of these private trainers training people and let me be honest.. you’re better off going off of videos on tiktok.

This is one of the worst crunch I've ever been too, it's consistently PACKED with people because they allow people here to bring multiple guests in. If you wanna use the bench know that at any point in the day, there's gonna be at least 3 dudes per bench surrounding you. Nobody here is considerate, at all, it's actually insane how in their own head people who go here are. There's always a machine broken or being repaired, and they're all absolutely disgusting. They have 15+ trainers and employees consistently at the front but nobody can be bothered to help wipe down and clean the machines? I feel terrible for the two custodians who work there that are definitely underappreciated, they work harder than any manager there that's for sure. You wanna do cardio??? Expect a manager or a trainer to harass you for personal training, they won't leave you alone after 10 minutes if you saying no either. Guest crunch's policy is no means yes? Literally such a terrible place, and it's not crunch that's the issue it's 100 percent the people here.

DO NOT SIGN UP! I would give them a 0 star if it allowed me. Save yourself the headache and find another gym. All these 5 star reviews are total B.S. I was told my membership is month to month. I called to freeze my account in March lo and behold my account was changed again in April. I spoke to someone else on the phone and they stated I would’ve needed to come in person to freeze the account. I came in person to freeze the account and the GM stated that my yearly renewal was that “same month” and I would need to pay the 57.99 and then I can cancel the account (I wanted to cancel at that point). I explained the situation that I tried freezing the account and was told something different in March. They then begin to tell me also I would have to give them a 30 day notice and that I would need to pay another month on top of the 57.99. Not to mention my membership has slowly been increasing without letting me know. Everyone that works there has zero education when it comes to informing guests about policy/procedures. They hire a bunch of teenagers that have zero clue on what’s going on. Crunch fitness are total thieves, I will never sign up for them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called Crunch Fitness the night before to ask if I could bring a friend to a Pilates class, and a staff member specifically told me yes. I drove 20 minutes to the gym, only for the manager to tell me they don’t allow that and had no idea who I spoke to. Complete waste of my time. This is by far the worst gym experience i have ever had, coming to this Crunch. The Crunch corporation has fostered a culture of theft and swindlery and seems to pride themselves on hoodwinking honest people who seek personal improvement through physical fitness. While I expected to be treated as a member of a health club, I was instead viewed merely as a walking pocket to be picked. Though charging admission to a dilapidated facility, replete with far more occupants than legally or logically permitted, in and of itself feels as is it nearly constitutes theft, I am referring to a much more direct form of scoundrelly. When signing up for this gym, I made the grave mistake of assuming that it was managed by honest people. And unfortunately, I did not receive a clear explanation of the gyms cancellation policy. I am inclined to believe that this glossing over was all but accidental. After a brief period of attendance, not even 2 weeks, i realized that there was no redemption for this miserable location. In reaction to the unacceptable condition of the gym, the worn and broken machines, and the utterly filthy restroom and locker rooms, I made the only rational decision possible, which was to cancel my membership. It became quite apparent to me that I was not the first to reach this conclusion. The cunning architects of crunch’s cancellation policy seemingly foresaw the dissatisfactory state at their facilities, and knew that long term membership would not be the driving factor behind their company’s profits. Rather than raising my heart rate on one of their broken treadmills, it was spiked by the absolute shock i experienced upon being told that i will be charged for 3 months of membership to a gym that i have only attended for 12 days. As completely absurd as that may be, the true coup de grace was the tacking on of annual fees to the payment for 2 and a half months of membership that i will not be able to enjoy. After contesting the abject insanity of this clause, i was threatened with legal action by an employee of this location. Not only was i ensured that my “debt” would be forwarded to a collector, i was also promised that government agencies would be notified. Out of pure disgust and a deep seated desire to wash my hands of the entire affair, i paid the extortionists their ransom. Though I’d love to see them in court some day, I would much rather wait to see them in hell.

The gym is always full, too crowded no matter what time you go, and they have some classes in the training area which makes it even more difficult to find a spot to train.

Classes are ok in general, although HIT classes both students and teachers have an arrogant and rude attitude towards other classes using the space as if it were only theirs.

Would not recommend Crunch Fitness. Since getting my membership, they’ve been constantly pushing expensive personal training sessions, which got annoying fast. Canceling was an absolute nightmare—can’t do it through the app, can’t do it over the phone, and even though they claim someone under your membership can cancel on your behalf if they come in, they refused when that person actually tried. I had to go in person just to cancel, and even then, they charged me for an extra month I won’t even be using. The membership is cheap but you really end up paying the price in other ways.

I gym here because I can walk but damn! Full of teens with broccoli hair having their chats on machines, people sitting on machines scrolling aimlessly or staff partaking in it! Weights never really re-racked, again the teen entitlement of thinking they can leave half empty water bottle and disappear for a while and the machine is still reserved for them!

This gym is basically held together by hopes and prayers. The Stairmasters are hanging on for dear life, the water fountains are just decorative pieces—hydration is apparently a luxury. The only thing worth your money here? Training sessions with Yasi (seriously, she’s the real MVP). Avoid this place after 6 PM unless you enjoy navigating a jungle of overconfident, testosterone-fueled teenage gym bros who think they own the place. Enter at your own risk.

This gym is a scam. They tell you it's month to month but when I went to cancel before my trial period ended because I could never get a work out in less than two hours, they refused to cancel my membership. The lack of customer attention was incredible, very rude and did not attempt to resolve my complaints at all. But I decided to try out a new gym near my house because this crunch is always full, and I went to cancel a week after I got it, and they said I had a 3 month contract. WHICH I NEVER GET A CONTRACT. My experience was nothing short of abysmal, rife with unprofessionalism and questionable ethics.
Your personal trainers behave less like fitness professionals and more like predatory salespeople, relentlessly hounding members to the point of creating a hostile environment. Their desperation is palpable and frankly unnerving, to the extent that I dreaded even stepping into the gym.
I regretted my membership from the moment I signed up. My primary reason for joining was access to the sauna, which I ultimately avoided due to the unpleasant atmosphere. Instead, I frequented other gyms under my Active & Fit membership, sparing myself further frustration.
When I decided to cancel my membership, the ordeal worsened. Despite following your cancellation process, my account continued to be charged, with late fees added for good measure. I had to return a second time to ensure the cancellation was processed correctly, and I demanded confirmation via email before leaving.
It is astonishing that a business so lacking in principle and transparency continues to operate. I am now disputing the unauthorized charges with my bank, as I refuse to tolerate such unethical behavior.
Your organization’s disregard for customer trust and professionalism is appalling. I will ensure others are aware of the pitfalls of associating with your gym.

At first, I enjoyed coming to this gym, however, be careful, they are quick to send notifications about putting private sessions on freeze, they are quick to send notifications when you sign up for anything, they are quick to send notifications when you even decide to cancel your membership... However, if you put anything on freeze for an extended period due to injury, vacation, work etc.. they do not notify you or remind you when you will be charged next .. so be careful, you will get charged with no refunds provided. And then for some reason you can't cancel 9 days before your next charge . You have to cancel outside of a 10 day window... Due to billing... Not very client focused.

Nothing bad to say about the staff, but I wasn't able to work out. Tried getting a free pass for the day but they didn't accept my student ID, out of state drivers license, or my passport. They specifically needed an in state drivers license. I'd recommend not wasting your time here, especially if you're coming from out of state. The day pass is 60 dollars, lifetime charges 50 for perspective. I can't imagine what other bureaucratic obstacles crunch puts up to making something as simple as working out as complicated as possible. Pretty sure they'll find a way to screw you over on the contract as well, as mentioned in previous reviews

I can’t say enough great things about Matt and how he’s completely transformed my experience at Crunch Fitness. Since he became the training manager, I’ve been coming to the gym more in the last couple of weeks than I have the entire year under the previous manager.

Matt brings a fresh energy, professionalism, and genuine passion for helping members achieve their goals. He’s approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone feels supported and motivated. His leadership has not only made the gym environment more welcoming but also inspired me to stay consistent with my workouts. Since his management I decided to do a training day session after having a horrible experience earlier this year at the same facility. Matt is honest and truly a breath of fresh air.

If you’ve been hesitant to get back to the gym or need a push to elevate your fitness journey, Matt’s management style and dedication will make all the difference. Crunch Fitness is lucky to have him!!

Would not recommend at all, I cancelled my membership in person on February,
They hold charging me for 3 months then start charging me again,
I was out of the country, i emailed them, and called them, someone answered my phone and apologized for what happened and told me please come at the store and I will cancel your membership and make a refund to you, his name was burry I guess,
I went to the store and meet a manager her name gelssy , she was very rude and refused to cancel my membership before to charging my the annual fee and monthly fee, and she was very aggressive,

I called my bank and blocked them,

It doesn’t make any sense to have to pay an additional annual fee since I did not pass the date that I last paid my annual fee the year prior. Ridiculous

So, I've been going to this gym for almost two years now. It's a decent gym, you know, outside of the fact that:
1. There's almost always at least one broken machine.
2. The gym is so busy that the parking spills over into all of the nearby parking lots.
3. Despite how busy the gym is, they are always having some kind of promotion to make the gym even busier.
4. They are always trying to sell you personal training that is multiple times more expensive than your monthly membership. I once had two people come up to me trying to sell me personal training within twenty minutes of each other. They also regularly try to give you 'free personal training' which isn't really free because it's just a tactic to get their foot in the door.
5. They have a full squadron of employees trying to give you 'free guest passes' at the front door which they don't tell you can only be used by someone who has never in their whole life been a member at any crunch location that exists.

So, why did I wait so long to write this review, you ask?
Outside of all the annoyances, the base level membership is very affordable (despite unannounced price hikes), and they have enough machines to work out every part of your body effectively. For someone who wants to get into the habit of working out, or someone with a limited budget (like me), it's a good option (as long as you are comfortable with gym employees regularly trying to sell you personal training and getting dejected when you say no).
That brings me to today; after many days of just taking the free guest passes that I had no use for and throwing them in the trash because it was easier than saying no, I decided that was wasteful. As a result, when I was offered some passes today, I said 'I'm good, thank you.' Now, I could have had any number of reasons for that:
1. Maybe all of my friends already go to crunch, go to another gym, or have at some point in the past, been crunch members.
2. Maybe none of my friends is interested in going to a gym/exercising, or maybe they have alternative ways of staying fit.
3. Maybe, as is the case for me, I spent most of my life in a different state, and I don't currently have friends in the state.
Point is, I should be able to say no, without having to explain why. So, what did the employee offering me these passes say?
Well, he asked "what, you don't have friends?" In the moment, I took it at face value and just said 'not in this state,' but after I left, I started thinking about how extremely unprofessional of a response that was to me politely declining the guest passes. Anyway, in the grand scheme of things, I'd prefer to chalk it up to someone having poor social skills as opposed to a malicious comment, but with all of the other annoyances listed above, I guess you could say that this interaction was 'the straw that broke the camel's back,' prompting my review.

Let start off with ONE star is too much. The only reason I use this gym is when I am not able to use the one at my job and this gym is close and offered most of what I needed to get a proper workout in.
This gym basically has nothing positive to offer:
It is always dirty and cluttered with weights and equip all over the gym, even dumbbells and barbells in the cardio area. This has even caused handicapped people to leave this gym and never return!!! HORRIBLE. It has been brought to management's attention with little care or concern.
The commonality here is with all the other negative reviews is MONEY. Management puts membership numbers over quality and experience at West Pines Crunch. They lack paper towel dispensers that work or actually contain paper towels along with cleaner to wipe down the equipment.
The STAFF is the worst I've seen in a while. They do little to nothing to help with legitimate concerns, especially those of safety and basic gym etiquette. There is one male African American employee who hosts the 6:00 pm HIT class that will block 1 of 2 fire exits in the bld with weight and equipment, just to make his area clear for the class. I have watched others working out nearby trip and step over the mess he created while they are trying to workout themselves. PICs to follow. He is simply lazy and setting a horrible example for other employees and patrons. He should be fired. He even threatened me when I confronted him about this after previous attempts with management have failed. One of the supposed managers told me I had to leave the gym and never return and threatened me as well. They wouldn't even give me receipt of membership cancelation. Said I would see something today. I still haven't. Jazzy and Jamal offered zero assistance or clarity on the entire situation as well, horrible customer service.
Here are some of the major problems that need immediate addressing:

1) Bathroom Pics: another LEGAL issue management refuses to address for over a year now. Without care for minors and those in an inappropriate state to come out in the background of those taking pics in the changing area of the locker-room which is a State Statute: 810.145.
2) Sauna- allowing people to play loud music, come in underwear without sitting on towels and people bringing weights in to get a workout in the sauna itself.
3) Blocking of the Fire Exits: constantly have a pile of weights, gym bags, benches and separation poles blocking the exit and breaker panel next to it.
4) Lack of employees walking the floor hourly to help remind guests to pick up their weights and equipment, preventing trip hazards and excess clutter.
5) Dress code; employees fail to enforce this as well. Way too many patrons attend in crocs, slides, socks and bare feet only, along with bikini tops.
6) Equipment: a lot of equipment sits in an inoperable status due to lack of respect and care for of by patrons and management. It takes weeks and even months at time for a repair to be made.
7) Water issues: both water fountains produce warm to hot water and the men's bathroom didn't have any hot water for weeks. Sad times for water drinkers.

This gym has become a hangout for high school/college aged kids, who dress inappropriately for the gym, take constant selfies and hog up equipment for hours. It makes it extremely difficult to get an effective and stress-free workout in.
I will be contacting Cooperate to further assist me.

They sell you on $1 membership to try it, and tell you that you can cancel before the next month and before the annual fee is charged. This is FALSE. The contract says “month to month” but at the bottom and at the end of the contract, it says you can’t cancel for the first 90 days… so you are really signing up for well over $140- not $1. So scammy!

This location is the worst place I’ve ever visited from the staff to gym experience is terrible and i will never recommend anyone to go here, i signed up for the membership online ,and from the first interaction i had from just activating my membership i was harassed by a sales member to upgrade to training etc when i did not ask and simply wanted to work out only , the gym it self is dirty with equipments that’s barely working its always over crowded and they don’t upkeep they facility, staff is rude the overall experience as terrible, i attempted to cancel my membership days after having it to be told i cannot cancel it unless i pay 90days up front and was threatened it would go on my credit like how are you going to force me to keep a membership that i wanted to cancel after days of having it , this overall has been the worst experience ever and im reaching to the better business bureau because this not right and the manager Jamal basically told me that i pretty much either pay it upfront but he will not cancel my membership i regret signing up for this company , i refuse to pay 3months of a terrible gym membership with rude workers crowded dirty gym .
