I can’t say enough good things about this studio! As a mom of kids with different abilities, it means the world to us to have a place where all of my children feel included and supported. From the very first day, everyone has been so kind, welcoming, and helpful—both the staff and the other parents.

One of my children uses a wheelchair, and the studio went above and beyond to make sure he had a buddy so he could fully participate and keep up with the other kids. That kind of thoughtfulness speaks volumes. The dances and costumes are always age-appropriate, which I deeply appreciate, and the studio has a strict zero-bullying policy that applies to both students and parents, creating such a safe and positive environment.

It’s also very affordable, which makes it possible for all of my kids to attend together. Most importantly, my kids absolutely love it here. They feel safe, encouraged, and excited every time they walk through the doors. We’re so grateful to have found this studio—it’s truly a special place!

My 3 kiddos have been attending D4D for 6 years now and we love it. Truly a second home. Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. The teachers care about their students’ growth both as dancers and as people. Communication is good, prices are reasonable, there are performance opportunities if you’d like to perform. There are TVs in the lobby so you can view your kids classes. All in all a great studio. We love our dance family!

My daughter has been attending Dancing for a difference for a few weeks now and it truly is the best dance studio around. I’ve tried a few and this is by far the most affordable with the most caring staff. Staff is always available and super helpful, the studio is beautiful and well kept. The other parents are kind and welcoming. They are built by community and truly show it. They offer programs for a variety of different children/families and really give back to the community. Cannot recommend them enough.

As a parent of a dancer that has returned to the craft after losing her big sister dancer and taking a big break I can say that this was the perfect place to land! Dance had some hard memories attached to it for our family, but dancing for a difference has been such a kind and supportive environment for us! My daughter said that this is the first organization that she has felt immediately comfortable in her skin and the trust she has in her teachers is amazing! They have built her confidence and helped her through so much! Sara the owner of D4D was her Ballet teacher last year and now she has a new found passion! Ballet is everything to her! Maggie and Kelsey are her other two teachers and they are absolutely incredible! I really can’t say enough good things about the studio! From the teachers to the volunteers that clean the studio and greet you at the door! Not to mention the opportunities in her career growth are immeasurable! There isn’t another studio that offers anything comparable! We are so thankful to be a part of the family!

A True Gem in the Community!

We’ve been attending classes at Dancing for a Difference for over three years now, and it’s truly become a second home for our family.

From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and supported by the incredible staff and fellow families. Everyone here has become like a second family to us — the warmth and sense of belonging are unmatched.

What sets this studio apart is its commitment to inclusivity. They welcome dancers of all ages and abilities, and it’s clear that every student is valued and celebrated. The environment is safe, nurturing, and full of joy.

Their pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of instruction and the variety of classes offered — from ballet and jazz to musical theater and voice. It’s obvious that the team’s mission is to instill a genuine love of dance and performance in every student. The instructors are passionate, patient, and incredibly skilled at helping kids grow not just as dancers, but as confident individuals.

We couldn’t be happier to be part of this amazing studio. If you’re looking for a place where your child can thrive artistically and emotionally, Dancing for a Difference is the place to be.

We love dancing for a difference!!! My daughter with special needs has met so many best friends there! The parents have become close. When Everly was born I’d never imagine a community that she’s accepted in by kids who may not understand what she has but look after her all the same. When she runs in a jumps on the other dance moms and points at the studio when we drive by it definitely makes me smile. We do birthdays and love the summer camps as well. Also love that they are in the same plaza as we rock the spectrum that place is another favorite for the family!!!

Dancing for a Difference is more than just a dance studio—it’s a community gem. My daughter, who has special needs, was welcomed with open arms and now thrives in an environment that celebrates every child. The best part? The cost is incredibly reasonable—about half of what other studios charge! This place proves that quality instruction and compassion don’t have to come with a hefty price tag.

I was blown away by the professionalism and warmth at D4D. The instructors are passionate, the classes are engaging, and the studio is YPAD certified, ensuring a safe and age-appropriate experience. affordability matters—and D4D delivers. I have four children at Dancing for a Difference and I couldn’t be happier! My younger girls started dancing with Miss Sara when they were two years old. Sara and her teachers have so much patience for little ones! Some days my girls were loving every moment and other days they were typical toddlers and would cry and want mom. I love that the teachers at Dancing for a Difference respected my girls enough not to push them beyond their limits. They understood that kids sometimes have off days and allowed them to come to me when my little ones needed to step away. Through that love and support, my girls developed a passion for dance and now, seven years later, are still dancing (and now competing) with D4D.

I do not generally come to Google to write a review but I am so unimpressed by the owner of Dancing for a Difference that I was compelled to write this one.

My granddaughter was a student at Dancing for a Difference. My daughter was upset over how a situation was handled and instead of apologizing, taking any ownership, acting professional, or trying to de-escalate the situation, the owner instead became immediately argumentative. She tried to mom shame, made outright false statements and stooped to making social media posts about my daughter. Conflicts happen but as a business owner, there are appropriate ways to handle them. This woman is unprofessional, unreasonable and someone who should not be working with children/families.

I would never recommend sending your kid here. Terrible experience, the way the owner treated my child and family is disgraceful, she shouldn’t be allowed to work with kids, she displays erratic, immature behaviors. I’m sure the owner will comment on this to save face to the public, I don’t want to read your insensitive generic response to de-escalate, i don’t care to read it. Im posting this so other families know how terrible of a person the owner is when they’re doing their research on a dance academy, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Avoid this place don’t send your children here.

As a special needs parent it can be difficult to find a place to feel welcomed and safe. If this isn’t a life you lead, it might not be something you have thought about. When your child is different, the world is scary. Every time you leave the house you have to worry that your child will be treated like they don’t belong, like they make people uncomfortable. You fear the reactions of others or the situations that may put your child in danger. Some days, no matter what you do, your child will get upset because they are trying to find their way in a world that doesn’t fit them. As parents we’re trying to find the balance between letting them be the way they are happy, the way they are comfortable, and trying to help them fit into the world and society that exists around them. There are many times I wish we didn’t have to leave our house where my daughter knows how to cope and have her needs met.

In Dancing for a Difference we found a safe place. When we walk into the lobby kids and parents greet my daughter with a hello and a smile, even though she usually can’t respond to them verbally. Sometimes she sits and smiles and bounces or snacks while we wait for her class to start or for her siblings to finish their class. Sometimes she walks loops around the lobby or crawls under benches. The other families smile and chat with me or each other. Someone may put a hand on a bench so it doesn’t tip over as my eleven-year-old, who is almost as tall as I am, crawls beneath. No one tells her to sit and behave. Not all understand why she moves the way she does but they don’t judge, they let her be who she is. When she goes to class she has teachers who welcome her. I am often in contact with her teachers as she changes often. Her sensory needs and coping mechanisms evolve as she develops and we try new therapies or ways of doing things. Sometimes she has a teenage helper with her in class and sometimes I’m there with her. As much as her teachers and helpers strive to learn and work with her, I am her communication and regulation partner, I am the most able to interpret what she’s trying to communicate and help her adapt to environments. One day, she might be able to take classes without me nearby, but for now, I appreciate our dance studio’s flexibility in letting me be there for her. Sometimes she dances, often she just wants to watch other dancers. For a child like mine, groups of kids can be frightening. Their behavior is less predictable than that of adults so she studies them trying to understand them in the same way that they watch her seeking an understanding of the way she moves and the sounds she makes. Her dance teachers have helped the other children understand and have been open to letting me explain as it is okay to acknowledge that she is different and may have different needs and reactions. Not everyday is perfect. Sometimes, despite everyone’s efforts, for reasons my daughter cannot communicate, she melts down. Sometimes we have to leave class and find a quiet place. Sometimes she sheds tears, sometimes I do. But at our dance studio we have people who offer their support, their lack of judgment, their flexibility, and their thoughtfulness. There is no environment that fits my daughter perfectly, and if there was, it might not fit her the next day as sometimes she changes in the blink of an eye. No two special needs children are the same as no two children are the same. What this studio gives us is the willingness to accept and adapt and to parter with myself and my daughter to give her the opportunity to learn, dance, socialize, and grow surrounded by people I can trust where she can feel she belongs. This is what inclusion means to me.

Dancing for a Difference is a great studio! My daughter is only 11 but has been dancing at various studios for nine years. Although she did well at them, she excelled the most at D4D. Even though she can be somewhat of an introvert, the other students make sure to include her. She has been there for four years now and loves the teachers, her friends, and fellow dancers. The cost of classes, recitals, costumes, and merchandise is more than reasonable it's fantastic! So is the level of professionalism, knowledge, and kindness of the teachers and staff. Over the few short years we have been welcomed with open arms by everyone throughout the studio it’s our second home! We add more classes each year simply because we can’t get enough. The teachers are beyond amazing and patient with each individual we can’t say we have a favorite teacher as my daughter has danced with each one of them and loves them all. I highly recommended this studio to anyone.

We found Dancing for a Difference last year after our old dance studio closed. We were heartbroken and didn't think we would find anywhere else like it. But we are so grateful to have found our new dance (and more) home! I love that it is affordable because with 4 kids it adds up quick, I just wish we had unlimited time and money since there are so many great classes to choose from. 😂 Another thing that drew me to this studio is all the good they do and what they stand for! As a parent I try my best to instill this into our kids and to be kind and understanding to everyone. I love that we found a place that has that focus! Sara, Ms Maggie, Ms Amanda, Mr M and all the other staff show so much love and dedication to all the kids and you can tell how much they care!

We have been at D4D for a year now, my girls and I absolutely love it! Sara( the owner) is so welcoming to all who enter her studio as is the rest of her staff and D4D family! My oldest had a major confidence boost within her first few wks of dancing, all the girls treat each like sisters and cheer one another on. Definitely a fun, loving environment and we couldn't be happier to be a part of such a wonderful studio! 💜🖤💜

We are so happy we found D4D! This is hands down the best dance studio with the most amazing & loving staff! And what they stand for is nothing like I’ve ever seen! How they strive to make all kids feel special and included they go above and beyond. They have so many options for kids. They have all genres of dance. A musical theater program and if your child wants to learn to play the piano or guitar, or even loves to sing they have a music room. Even have acro for those little gymnast. And I love how they work with children of all disabilities and the community to make affordable to dance
My daughter has learned so much from all her teachers and loves them so much. She’s confident, happy & can’t wait to go to dance. We are truly are so happy and blessed to be a part of Dancing for A Difference..❤️❤️

I can’t say enough GOOD things about this studio. We found D4D In January 2021 just after our daughter turned 3. She is VERY shy and they were more than accommodating to let me sit in the small room (at the older studio) so that she felt comfortable. Each week progressed and I was able to join the other parents in the lobby after about 3 weeks. Since then, every class her confidence grows! I was for sure her first stage performance was going to be a freeze moment, but she went out there with conviction and danced her heart out! We have enjoyed the studio so much that we have added new classes and experiences every year! Her love of dance, musicals, and performing has grown each year as well. She loves all of the teachers she has had and is excited to have a new one this year with Hip Hop class! I think the teachers do an amazing job navigating classes
when there is a full roster and a lot of little personalities! I think the thing I’m MOST grateful for are the friendships that have grown within the D4D family! Our daughter has definitely gained some forever friends and so have I. I love that everyone is willing to jump in and come together to make sure these kids have the best experience possible. ❤️

D4D has become not just a place for my children to dance but a family, a place that my children are completely accepted disability and all, a place that my children grow in dance ability and as good human beings. This is a village full of role models and parents who are accepting and supportive just as ALL THE STAFF ARE! My children started out in one ballet dance class and now 5 years later are in a multitude of classes, on performance teams, competition team, and have a desire to dance that can’t be matched by anything else. This would not be the case if they felt bad about themselves while there, if they weren’t accepted or respected as who they are by their teachers, if they didn’t have superb role models to help build them and guide them into the young beings they are today. D4D is a blessing in every way to our family, we found where we belong and thank Ms Sara for offering such a place for us to be who we are, just as we are!

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this studio! Sara, Maggie, Amanda, and the rest of the staff have the most beautiful hearts inside and out for giving so much back to our community and providing children with special abilities the opportunity to learn dance, music, and the arts. There are not many dance studios to exist like this one! My daughter has ASD and ADHD and also has a gift for rhythm and music. I really wanted to get her into dance/music while she’s really young but was concerned about finding a program that could be adaptive to her needs, as she has a hard time concentrating and often has exuberant energy. We did a four-week summer class at D4D for ballet and tap to try it out and see how she would do. She was assigned a dance buddy, Ms. Amanda, who was extremely in tune to her feelings and body language and she quickly opened up and formed a bond with her. By the fourth week, my daughter was begging to dance with Amanda and was asking to dance every other day that she didn’t have class! After just a few classes, my daughter was following along with the steps and singing to the music and I had tears in my eyes! I was so very proud. I immediately went ahead and signed her up for this year, fall-spring. I really hope she gets the chance to work with Amanda again, as she was just incredible. But if not, I have confidence that any staff member is going to treat her with equal kindness and compassion as we’ve experienced so far. 🩷

*had to change to 1 star as owner Sara and her friends are now harassing my 6 year old son, spreading rumors about him, talking trash about a literal child, and have been harassing his name on Facebook for 24 now as retaliation to my review. Parents beware, director of this studio is insane.

Google has a character limit but my full review is on Facebook. This studio, while somewhat inclusive, is not adaptive and is not equipped for most kids with special needs or disabilities. My son was discriminated against and excluded from classes due to being blind and autistic. After being told he would only be allowed in toddler classes not his age appropriate classes with his peers, I stated it was unacceptable and said we’d not be returning. Never heard from them for reconciliation again.

We found D4D in 2021 when looking for a place for our 3 year old daughter to get some interaction with kids her age before starting VPK the next year. I never imagined we’d be finding a place that’s like our second family. My daughter found a love for dance and performing and it was amazing to watch her teachers at the studio encourage her every step of the way.

When year two came around our 6 year old son showed interest of joining the studio as well. We started off slow for him, he has ADHD and I wasn’t sure how well he’d listen to instructions, he’s also naturally shy and sensitive and as a mama bear I wanted to protect him from being overwhelmed. His first day he didn’t want to leave. I ended up signing him up for another class that night because he didn’t want to leave the studio 😅 the amount of flourishing this boy as had. Holy cow! I have photos and videos of him dancing and singing his heart out in front of a packed auditorium. I fully believe it’s because of his dance teachers who create such an interactive and encouraging environment that he’s overcome so much. “Boys dance too Mom!” Is something he says regularly 🩵

We love that not only are our kids learning all the techniques that come with being a dancer, but we love the friendships they’ve made at D4D. They feel safe to be themselves which helps getting them to try new things that before would’ve seemed scary. So much of that comes from how the studio and classes are ran. Watching the classes, I appreciate that the kids are talked to like they matter. Somehow the teachers always know all their names (I have no idea how they learn 100s of kids names 😂) and are always letting each kiddo know how amazing they are doing. The classes are fun while still maintaining that learning environment.

As their mom, I can honestly say, it takes a lot to feel comfortable when introducing new people into your kids life. You want to make sure you’ve picked the right people to guide them in whatever journey they are on. At D4D I have no doubt we’ve found the right people. We are excited for year 3 at D4D and can’t wait to see what they accomplish this year!

This is the best dance place we have been too! My daughter was in All star cheerleader before. She started at the age of 4 1/2 till now at 11. And she always wanted to dance we couldn’t have pick a better place. They are our second family and we are truly blessed to be apart of this wonderful all inclusive Organization.. They make it to where anyone can dance.. They are a 501c3 nonprofit dance studio which makes Dance and Music more available and affordable to all ages and abilities. They make it easy for your child no matter what to be able to dance. My daughter has made so many friends and have never seen her as happy as she is here. The staff and families are truly amazing and always there to make your kid smile.. Super blessed to be apart of them. Definitely would recommend D4D

For an all inclusive studio our children have felt everything but included. The owner when we went for dance camp and when we went to the pageant was not very friendly at all. Definitely felt like Sara only cared about how much money she was making and not about the kids. We signed up for a pageant and requested my daughter have a buddy walk with her. Yet she was sent out on her own and she was so terrified. If you don't have a visible disability then they appear to brush you off. And at the studio they dance very simple. So if your child has a disability but is a good dancer they don't get to excel at dancing, they are held back.

I have been bringing my daughter here for about 2 months. I can't start to express how much these classes have helped her. She used to get easily frustrated when she wasn't instantly good at a new task, and now she has a bit more grit. I was at a complete loss on how to help her overcome this. The teachers have been so kind and patient with her, even on days where she isn't feeling the most cooperative. I'm so glad we decided to start dance classes for her. It is her favorite part of every week.

We absolutely LOVE Dancing for donations!
Our daughter has danced there for 2 years now, and still enjoys every minute of it.
The teachers have became family to us, not just teachers. It really makes you feel welcome when you can build such a special bond with them.
The classes are the most affordable around at just $25 a month or $65 a month for up to 5 classes!
You get a free trial class, and then decide whether or not your child wants to commit to classes.
If it weren’t for sara and her mission to make dance classes affordable to us in the community, there is no way our daughter would be able to dance.
We are forever grateful for sara and the studio.
The class sizes are also limited, and the teachers usually have an assistant, or helper when needed.
Sara (studio owner and operator) really shows our children her love and passion for dancing and working with children of all abilities.
You will NOT be disappointed!

I found this gem of a studio and I’m so happy I did! I looked at other places and got the feeling that you have to have “the look” to be there, where all the children were the same size and “looked” the same. Dancing for Donations welcomes all and you can feel it! I absolutely love how this business is operated and love how well Sara responds! You can tell the staff LOVES what they do! The children do not have to be perfect....they can be there for fun or for dance therapy, as I see it! Dance is so important and beneficial, and this studio provides the best for their students! The cost is an extra bonus! My Daughter wouldn’t be able to go without such amazing prices, so thank you!!!! 🤗

I usually do not take the time to write a bad review but I just had to warn other parents. I brought my daughter to try the ballet 2 class and the instructor was brash, unfriendly and didn't explain the movements very well. When she was going over her introduction she said, "do not bug me after class, I have a class right after this...get your belongings and leave to meet with your parents." I WAS STUNNED!!!! She seemed aggravated throughout the entire class! As soon as my daughter walked out of the building, she turned to me and said, "please don't make me go back!" NO WAY WOULD I MAKE HER GO BACK!!!! I feel so bad for the little girls that stay in that class.🙁

My daughter, Abby, has been in their program for over a year. She started off as a shy 3 year old, and is now one of the friendliest, most out-going little girls. Ms. Sara and Ms. Amanda were able to teach confidence and helpfulness as well as dance steps. One month we got to bring the donation to the hunane society, and it inspired Abby to adopt her own kitty! She is now in preschool and an amazing listener, she is great at following directions, and i know its because of Dancing for Donations. It's affordable, it helps the community, and when my own family went through a medical crisis with our baby, they decided to hold a fundraising vendor market for us! My 5 yr old may not be special needs, but our 1 yr old now is medically fragile, and being introduced to other children with different medical equipment early in her life made it easier for her to accept when her little sister got a gtube and had surgery! It's been an amazing program and I cant wait until my littlest is old enough to sign up!
