I started my transformation about four years ago I walked into Darwin Fitness, which is a private personal-training gym. JS, the owner, and his team of certified trainers taught me how to train efficiently. I only work out three times a week for 30 minutes, and it’s been enough to completely change my body.
I’m down about 20 pounds on the scale, but what really surprised me is the actual body change: roughly 30 pounds of fat gone and around 15 pounds of muscle gained. I feel stronger and healthier than I ever expected from such short sessions.
The trainers are super nice, knowledgeable, and always there to help or encourage you when you need it. It never feels intimidating, just supportive.
JS also just built a brand-new 3,000 sq ft facility at 2250 Lee Road in Winter Park, designed only for personal training. It’s clean, modern, and honestly just a great place to work out. I really love it there.
If you want efficient training with people who actually care, Darwin Fitness is worth checking out.

Siobhan is an amazing trainer! I started training with Siobhan several months ago and it has been the best decision I have made to get back to getting in shape. She is knowledgeable and 100% dedicated towards me reaching my fitness goals. She switches up the workouts every session which keeps it fun! She goes above and beyond to cheer you on and keep you positive. I truly can't say enough good things about her and I would highly recommend her!

I went to Jean-Sebastien in October 2018 at 215 pounds having never exercised consistently. Excellent trainer! I worked out with JS for about a year. I wanted to get moving after back surgery and do it safely. When I had the surgery, we paused our training while I was seeing a physical therapist and started back up when I got cleared. He honored my contract and helped me get a routine back.

I have a love/hate relationship with this guy. I hateeeee him for the intense training sessions we have together, but at the same time, I LOVE him for the changes I'm seeing in my body. I've only been working with Jean-Sebastian for about 1.5 months, but I've already obtained tremendous results. Family and friends even comment that I have more results with Jean in the short period of time I've been with him than they have obtained working out for a year with their own personal trainers. I was overall healthy prior, but I wanted to be stronger, more tone, and increase my stamina, and so far, Jean has addressed each and every one of my concerns. Each work-out session is customized to fit individual goals. More importantly, the sessions are fun, invigorating, and always different, so you don't suffer from muscle memory or plateau. If this is only 1.5 months into my training, I'm excited to see my body transformation a few more months down the line with Jean!

As a mother of three with a crazy schedule I was so thankful to find Jean-Sebastian. He worked with me on finding a good time and a choice of location between Longwood and Winter Park. The past six months have been a delightful challenge as he found new ways each week to push me to my limits! But my stamina and strength and grown leaps and bounds! In February I was able to confidently sign up for a mud run, which has been on my bucket list, and had a blast! Every week he incorporates something new. Never a dull moment with JS!! Taking the time out for myself hasn't been easy, but absolutely worth it!!

Jean Sebastian is a fantastic guy. If you're thinking about using a personal trainer or looking for one, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to you. I consider myself a fairly active person, but was stuck in a workout rut, not really seeing the changes I hoped from the effort I was putting in on my own. I decided to spend the money on myself and invest in a training package and I have zero regrets. JS has really changed how I workout, cardio and strength training. He somehow gets me to do things I just wouldn't do on my own. He's knowledgeable, the sessions are very tailored to my needs, working around injuries, personal interests- and they are fun! I have been training with Js for the last 5 months wanting to compete in a fitness competition. He laid out a plan for me to build muscle and lean out. The training sessions were different each time so nothing was too repetitive. Just this last week I stepped on stage for my first NPC show, I wouldn't have been able to do it without him!

After turning 40, I began noticing places on my body that used to be firm were no longer so. After trying crazy eating habits (that never lasted), I decided to find a trainer to help prevent the flab from expanding. Jean Sebastien has helped me with this quest. He is very knowledgeable in many health areas. He analyzed my eating (and drinking) habits. I have Type 1 diabetes, so he was able to take this into account. And he completely took my aging body concerns into consideration. My workouts are always different; I am never bored. (In fact just yesterday he had me boxing!) Jean Sebastien uses multiple exercise techniques: TRX, free weights, machines, boxing, running outdoors, and many more. No two days are the same. Jean Sebastien spends 100% of our time together focused on my workouts. He corrects my breathing, my form, and encourages me to work to my best ability. (I can be reluctant to putting out maximum effort) In six months I have noticed a change in my flabby parts. My quads show more definition. My arms have visible muscles. I would encourage Jean Sebastien services (Darwin Fitness) to anyone. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, dedicated and makes working out fun.

It's been over a year that I have been training with Jean-Sebastian (JS) and I can truly say that going to the gym three days a week is part of my routine that I love. JS really listened to what my goals were and continues to push and motivate me during every session. Although my ultimate goal like most is to loose weight I discovered that I was able to accomplish something I never thought possible...running. I was always envious of runners thinking I'd never have the endurance to be able to do it or that the strain on my feet would never go away. But I've since run three 5k's under the supervision and dedication of JS. It's not the main focus of our workouts but he has trained me consistently in small intervals each session to get my body used to running and I'm amazed that I can do it. My strength and endurance are two things that have really improved during our time together.
There are many great things I can say about JS and his training capabilities. If you are looking for a trainer who doesn't judge, will make you laugh, will keep you focused and is focused on you during the session, then I highly recommend you go and have an assessment with him. Seriously stop thinking about it...and just do it...

Jean Sebastian is a fantastic trainer. My health has improved so much since I started working with him. I recently traveled where I hiked and climbed mountains in Hawaii, something that would have been so difficult and I am elated to have been able to participate in these adventures with my family. By following Jean Sebastian's nutritional guidance and physical fitness plan my doctor applauded at my weight loss, and perfect A1C and lowered my dosage of medicine for diabetes, this was one of my goals reached in just 6 months. I like working with him as he keeps me interested with a diversified routine. I like trying new exercises and discovering new activities that I enjoy. Another thing that is important to me is that he's always on time. He is encouraging and pushes me to excel, despite my tentativeness, and I've become braver and learned a lot. In overcoming foot injuries I've become more balanced through training. I like that he knows how to adjust and change the exercise so that it works best for me. Thanks Darwin Fitness!

I have been working out with Jean Sebastien for 4 months now and i have seen excellent results. He makes the workouts interesting, fun and exactly appropriate for my physical condition. We originally started off lighter when i was first beginning and the workouts have increased in intensity to match my increased aerobic and physical strength. I have had an injured shoulder and back and he has tailored our workouts to avoid aggravating those problems while still increasing my shoulder and back strength. I am looking and feeling much better and beach and pool time is right around the corner and i'll be ready. I am very happy i chose Jean Sebastien and Darwin Fitness. After seeing JS on a local morning show being featured for getting kids fit we made an appointment to check him out! The purpose was to get my 13 yr old more involved in personal fitness and making fitness goals. After a few sessions my son was pushing himself even at home to meet his goals. I remember seeing a local news broadcast and the person interviewed Jean-Sebastien about helping children achieve fitness goals even at a young age and training them the proper form to help develop their muscles. I knew they were not learning this at school so I thought that would be a perfect thing for my son to learn at this early age. So I found the phone number and scheduled a free trial lesson for Jake. I knew he had great potential and if he could have his confidence built up by someone who was professionally trained would be a great thing!
So we went to the first lesson and my son loved it! So we signed up to continue with JS and found that my son’s results were very beneficial from the proper form to a good healthy diet. We began seeing his confidence grow and his form changing.
We would recommend JS to anyone that was serious about helping their children improve the quality of their young lives!

I have been working with JS for 8 months now. We do 3 or 4 sessions per week and he is great at mixing up the sessions so that we cover full body and cardio. He has a knack of knowing my limits and just stretching me to achieve greater goals. I am now fitter than I have ever been and recently ran my first 8k and I managed to run a 5k in under 30 minutes. JS is also very knowledgeable about nutrition which means you can get the advice you need whenever you need it.

My name is Sean Ko I am a 22 years old golfer, Canadian, originally from Vancouver. I got a scholarship at the University of Hartford, CT and played NCAA Division 1 golf.
I moved to Florida for 4 months, in October 2013, to complete a full time intensive preparation. I practiced at the Heathrow Country Club, played on Floridian Mini Tours and work on my swing under the supervision of a PGA golf coach.
Ultimately my goal is to qualify for the PGA Tour. The intermediate step is the Asian Tour that should be able to join in February/March 2014.
In order to maximize my potential and increase my chances of success as a Pro, I also hired Jean-Sebastien, the owner of Darwin Fitness, as a physical trainer. Working with JS during 3 months now has dramatically improved my physical condition coming out of College. I have also created better eating habits and learned how to make the right choices on what goes into my body.
It has helped my distance as well as my stability on my golf swing. My endurance dramatically improved too. I can now play and practice for hours and keep everything, mind and body, in the right place. I highly recommend Jean-Sebastien as a physical trainer to any golf player. You will get the most out of your golf swing and feel fit as a complete athlete.

My son Spencer (who is 14 years old) came to me many months ago expressing a desire to join a gym so that he could work-out, get healthy and build/tone his body. I have learned over the years that it is wise to go to experts to learn new skills. Body building, health training and the knowledge of how the body works is also a skill. I did not want my son Spencer to learn bad habits, waste energy and time on inappropriate exercises, get injured, frustrated, or lose his motivation by not understanding these skills.
Spencer and I did research online and found Jean-Sebastien with Darwin Fitness. We met with him and after the interview we both had confidence that he was the Trainer that would fulfill our expectations.
