If you only have 30 minutes to get a workout in and want to make it count Ryan is your guy. I did 3 training sessions with him in the mornings and I’ll tell you some of the best pumps I've had in a long time. He definitely knows his stuff when it comes to form and routines. If you have never gotten a personal trainer to help you with whatever your needs are you found your sign to get one. The gym is great and everyone is always friendly. Awesome equipment and staff. 10 out of 10 recommend!

This is my first gym membership and first time using a trainer.
I like that Will asks questions or notices details and gives feedback that works. His corrections, like feet placement and muscle activation movements, feel well researched and actually do help me understand the workout. I feel like I'm learning more than I can from youtube. I decided to pay a trainer to invest in myself, mostly knowing that I would actually show up if I had some financial skin in the game. The more I learn during the sessions, the more i feel like it's a good financial investment, too.
I also appreciate the girl dad attitude that Will has.. he pushes, but not too hard, and gives honest encouragement. I don't know how to explain that Will doesn't give the creep vibe, but it's very important!
He doesn't talk badly about others to me, he jokes around but not in a crude manner and always talks sweetly of his girls and his wife, he's never too touchy and doesn't look where he shouldn't to me or others, .. women notice these things. I've been comfortable enough with him to have my 14yo daughter and my gorgeous niece train with him.
I love that Epic as a whole makes me feel a part of something. Will especially, he doesn't just say hi when you walk in the door. He's more friendly than just good customer service. I feel like a gym-girl at Epic and not just a girl that goes to the gym. 💪🏼💙

My trainer, Will Hamilton, has been extremely accommodating with my hectic schedule and always finds a way to keep me consistent and motivated. He pushes me to improve every session, and I’m already seeing amazing results.

I agree with a few other reviews that Will was very uncomfortable and tried force pressuring me into personal training packages when I asked for time to talk to my husband and think about it due to financial reasons (it’s def not affordable to the average person). He tried convincing me to sign up that second by saying that if my husband wanted what was best for me he’d let me and that it’s “better to ask for forgiveness than permission”. It was really off putting and unexpected since he kinda switched into a different, more aggressive demeanor than what I’d seen from him. Tbh it put me off from the whole place and I agree that those meetings being in the back room with him made it extra uncomfortable and gimmicky. I know some gyms try the desperate salesman approach, but I thought this gym was different. I hope no one else experiences this from him!

I purchased a one year membership in May and even though I pay every single month, I have never been able to get in the door. They charge me every month, but I’ve never been able to work out in there every single time since May I’m five months in. I think they charge me 40 a month or 40 something a month but I’ve never been able to use the facility of the equipment or anything else and when I get off work in the evenings they’re always closed. I just figured I’d ask.

Signed up for training and had to cancel 48 hrs later , wouldn’t refund me my 300.00 but didn’t have a problem charging me for the creatine and protein powder that was free with the training , manager told me no refunds after 90 hrs but I cancelled the training in 48 hrs ! They did say they will give me 6 months of recovery but I really could have used the refund more , so be careful if you want to get a trainer !

I’ve been going to this gym for a while now, and I really enjoy it. All the staff are really nice and welcoming and keep it clean. There are plenty of machines to use. I was once working out on a machine and Gina and Danny both came over with oil immediately when they heard it squeaking. They have a body scan machine to track several areas monthly to keep you on your goals.

They also opened a new recovery room recently, which is a nice addition. Gina was awesome about showing me how it all works. She offered to let me try it and gave me some great tips for dealing with the cold — super helpful! The room includes things like a massage chair and red light therapy, which is a nice bonus. I feel better than I have in years. It’s a great gym with friendly people and plenty of options.

When I first came into check out the gym, I had the pleasure of Gina taking me around and showing me weights the elliptical, etc. she also showed me the red light therapy and the Hydro table. She hooked me up with a trainer Becky who is just right for The issues I was having. Since then they have gotten the ice plunge which has helped me immensely. The benefits of the cold plunge, red light therapy, massage beds and of course working out, lifting weights and stand up bed. I’ve recently had a breast augmentation done, gained a whole bunch of weight during the recovery process so at end of 3 months of the surgery I decided to go do a little cardio and realized that I could do the red light therapy and cold plunge and the big benefits I had out of the both was my body’s ability to heal faster from the Breast augmentation and lost some weight. Been going to this location for over a year since they opened. I've tried many of the gyms in Citus County and hands down this one has them all beat. You may be paying a little more a month but the other facilities in the area don't come close in the quality and amount of equipment to use. I'll come in at the busiest times of the day and never have to wait on any of the equipment simply because they have multiples of everything. They are always adding new equipment and amenities. Some of its free like the sauna, but some are paid like the cold plunge and red light bed. I recently started their recovery plan which is the cold plunge and red light bed. And I'm glad I did, it's amazing how well it helps with the aches, pains , and inflammation. The staff there have always been more than helpful and friendly. They can be at there busiest making smoothies and helping other members to make sure they can help you with what you need. If you're thinking about trying this place out I'd just stop in check it out, if you unsure after that then go to any other local gym. I'm sure you'll be back to Epic.

The gym not only offers superior equipment and customer service, but also offers a full range of recovery options which I have taken advantage of this past month. I can’t say enough great things about this gym. I’ve been to other gyms around here but none come close to this one. What I love the most is the cold plunge. Which at first I didn’t know much about it. Only that my friends rave about it here at this gym. So when I signed up the wonderful well knowledgeable Gina explained all the great medical benefits to doing the cold plunge. I decided to do it because I suffer from chronic pain and diabetes. I wear a insulin pump to help with my high blood sugar. When I first did it Gina was with me the whole time making me feel at ease. I was surprised I thought it would be a lot worse but to my surprise with Gina’s help I went into this zen mode and actually felt great. She’ was there for my second time making sure I was ok which makes the beginning nerves vanish. By the third time I was ready to do it on my own. I can’t tell you how great I feel afterwards and during the week. My sugar levels have been crazy normal where I actually have to decrease my insulin input now.. it also has helped with my pain. I highly suggest doing the sauna first and then the cold plunge. I also highly suggest getting with Gina. She is a gem at this gym.

Just a bad experience. The first time I went in, I used a free day pass given to me by a trainer, and the woman at the front tried to sell me on a membership, which is a given. However, she did so by encouraging me to cold plunge because “the people who swim in cold water with manatees, lose so much weight”. Some people aren’t going to the gym “to lose so much weight”. Just wasn’t a great conversation and left me feeling a little insecure, I guess. Also, they’ve got an interesting setup and some machines that make literally no sense haha I had another free pass to use so I went in today just to use it even though the first time wasn’t my favorite. I was told I wasn’t allowed to use my free pass and that I had to pay, even though I had been given them by a trainer there. The free day pass also had a thing saying free smoothie too but she took the first one and I couldn’t use the free smoothie, and when I went in today, she took the day pass and free smoothie so I couldn’t use it. After she told me to pay, I said no thank you and left. Just 2 very strange and off-putting experiences. There’s more to say about it all but this is already too long. Your trainer was trying to do something nice and almost had me wanting to switch, but your front desk lady made my mind up for me. Don’t recommend.

I came in with my granddaughter and ended up joining. The staff is very helpful and always professional. The facility is clean and the equipment is well maintained. I work with Ƙiersten on a fitness program. She is very patient with me and keeps me motivated. The Red Light Therapy bed is amazing. They say it helps all that ails you. I don't know if that's true, but I feel better after getting in it. If your looking to lose a little weight or tone the body up, the doors always open.

Gina is very nice and knowlegable and tso are the rest of the staff.
The pace is allways clean and they have disinfectant wipes that so after you use something you can wipe it down and kill any possible germs. Ive lost 18 lbs since I started working out these . YeeHa

Great gym. I’m just a traveler down here for 6 months. Gina and Danny were extremely helpful setting up my membership and getting to w best possible deal for my situation. If you’re looking for a new gym or looking to upgrade from your current one then I highly suggest Epic Health and Fitness in Crystal River.

The workout equipment is above and beyond any gym I’ve ever been to, they even have a dedicated GLUTE ROOM! I’ve been to plenty of gyms and I’ve never seen a gym with a hip thrust machine until
I came to Epic!

It’s always clean, the equipment is well
Maintained, they have a red light bed, sauna, hydromassage, and did I mention that they have the BEST STAFF EVER!

Gina, is one of the most educated people I’ve come across when it comes to health and fitness. She always gives me the best advice while also reminding me to know my limits. Her advice, I don’t ever question it because I know she is well educated in this field. She also makes a damn good smoothie as well!

Abbie is another one of the staff members who I can always go to for advice, she is such a warm and friendly individual and always makes me feel comfortable.

Niki is always so polite and friendly when I check in and out of the gym. She is so helpful and always has the answers to the questions I have about the equipment here.

Epic health and fitness goes above and beyond any gym I’ve been to, I would highly recommend them!

Not a fan at all of this gym.its always very busy when i go. Then i am there for only a couple months and they are charging me a $100 cancellation fee due to me not being there for a year. They didn’t do a very good job creating there policys nor explaining that to me.

Jim is awesome!!! All the Jim employees are super nice and there’s every piece of Jim equipment you can imagyn. Also protein shakes make me gain 50 pounds of muscle and I used that strength to lift a bus off of a bunch of orphans so 10/10.

Management has no clue what they are doing, got told two different things and then called a liar. The “personal trainers” are not personal trainers no way would I get trained by a trainer that is a dude and 126 pounds soaking wet. I could take 30 minute course and call myself a trainer and rip people off with faulty workout plans. Not a good atmosphere and I don’t do reviews like this so you know it’s bad.

This place will rip you off if you're not careful. 39$ a month turned into a car payment! Within 2 months 500$ And then pull out another 75 just now saying there's another 75 remaining cancelation fee. Complete rip off, nothing worth the money we've spent. I was a member of this gym from October until this past Sunday. The place was always clean, equipment and weights well maintained, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Gina the manager was extremely helpful with any billing or membership questions. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to continue or begin the fitness journey. My trainer, Talia, is fantastic. Always has a great attitude and pushes me to my limit.My only complaint is that I have been going there for four months now and every time I walk in the door, Gina and Danny are at the counter and not once have they ever said hello or greeted me. This morning I smiled at Danny and he didn’t even bother to smile back. I feel like after four months of going three times a week I should at least get a smile

I hired Ryan O’Neill as a personal trainer. He is very knowledgeable about the equipment at the gym. He is a great teacher and very patient. He makes sure I have correct form so I don’t hurt myself. He is a great motivator. I highly suggest Ryan to help you meet your fitness needs.

I left my old gym to come here. More machines its not has packed and even has a shake bar ( my favorite) I train with Ryan O. He has been amazing and has pushed me harder then I've pushed myself he kept me Motivated, recently I had some medical issues come up and when I couldn't make it in for our sessions he still checked in on me and made sure I was okay ❤️ I appreciate that alot . Ryan, one of the fitness trainers, has customized a strength/rehab plan based on my recent shoulder replacement that is now 100% deltoid movement. The exercises are specific to the rear deltoid which is extremely weak. He also has me doing exercises on my right knee for strength and stability that was left with permanent damage to the nerve and muscle atrophy after knee replacement. Ryan spends the time to get to know my disabilities and weakness to help me overcome them within my capabilities. I highly recommend him for personal training and EPIC (a 1000% better than Planet Fitness membership). Staff is experienced and knowledgeable (unlike the young teens working at P.F.) and literally no judgement but encouragement from the EPIC staff. The smoothie bar is an added benefit to help post workouts. A HUGE bonus is they accept and love my service dog and encourage me to bring whenever I workout!!

I'm the person who is dealing with some health issues .... Ryan has been a super trainer - spending time with me finding that "sweet spot" so I can get the maximum results from my workouts! He's the voice of reason, encouragement, and conscience when I need it. The equipment is new, super clean, and easy to use. The bathrooms and showers? Wow.... Couldn't ask for better accommodations. I saw an advertisement, but also have a friend Gina and Danny that I also worked with on Kings Bay. A friend and I stepped in to check it out. Wow the place is beautiful and clean.
