I went into this gym because it was the closest one to where they had a punching bag. After telling me that they’re gonna redo the room and set up an area to hit the bag. They never did, then I get told that I should just go to the one off 50 which is on the other side of town that has a punching bag that’s right in the middle of where everyone works out. This will be the last time I ever join this gym. I basically had to pay 300+ to get out of this dog shit. Plus, they never prepared the punching bag which leaked water every time you hit it. Other than that, it’s just another overpriced gym.

Pretty disappointing when you can’t rely on your own gym, After becoming a member for several months and spending so much time and money with this company, After all our truck just got hit after one of there customers fled the seen after being asked to relay information back. Being denied the video surveillance to one of their customers, because of unrelated excuses. This place needs better management. For the sake of a better business.

I started working out at Epic in January of 2025 when I knew I wanted to make a lifestyle change with my fitness and eating habits. One of the personal trainers (Max) showed me around the gym and was curious about the my goals and what I was hoping to get out of the gym. After talking for some time I knew Max would be a great fit to be my personal trainer.
Hr crafted a meal plan that was reasonable, created a workout split that worked for my goals, and was also incredibly helpful in keeping me motivated.
As a military member, I knew that I needed a trainer who would push me to be better than what I could accomplish alone and Max has exceeded those expectations.
I lost about 7 pounds of fat and packed on solid muscle in about 10 weeks which was precisely what I was looking for.
After my previously purchased PT sessions ran out, I immediately booked more.
If you’re looking for a trainer who can meet you where you are and take you to where you want to be, Max is it and Epic Health and Fitness Spring Hill is where to do it.

While personally I’m not a fan of “activation fees” of any kind…this is a nice, clean, well stocked gym with pretty friendly members. The owner, Tom, is an alright guy and addresses any issues personally, so that’s cool. I had a problem and he called to talk it out. I don’t necessarily agree but I can respect and appreciate that.

I joined epic on Spring Hill Dr a couple months ago to continue my weight loss journey. I got with one of their star trainers, Mariah. She has educated and supported me through this journey. She’s very knowledgeable when it comes to issues with knees and back and makes my transition easier. She also has this amazing glute class. You will definitely feel the burn!!

Absolute horrible gym! The staff on Saturday take over the entire gym and don’t allow you to work out yet will blame you. I would suggest Progear, YMCA or even a child’s playground before going there

Been at epic since day one. 4-5 years. During Covid I continued to pay for a membership I was not able to use. Found out today I could only have access to the 24/7 gym between the hours of 10am-3pm.

I attempted to cancel the membership and they wanted to charge me another month. I was told they would “send me to collections over 30 dollars by the manager”.

It’s amazing that small businesses treat people this way.

If you want a gym who raises prices and changes memberships this is the place to go.

Edit: 10/13, after two months I assumed the problem was resolved. I check my credit card statement and I’m still being charged. I email Ryan Unger. He reached out because of the first review above.

Well this was this response. “The review wasn't removed so the cancel policy wasn't removed and it charges you the next month as the legal contract you signed says. No reason to do you favors when you're trying to hurt our business.”

Hopefully this can be resolved soon.

Predatory fees. After your first month you will be required to pay an additional $50 on top of your monthly payment. I would love to have to only pay the sign-on fee and only monthly payments from then on with no tacked on fees, but it can’t be that simple. Be wary of extra fees if you go here.

Recently I was denied access in the morning despite paying my fee the day prior. I had to cancel the card on file because it was lost. I received a call from staff to update it, which I did, and they charged my account. Everything should be resolved at this point right? I come in the next morning, and the key FOB does not allow me in. It would be nice to regain access upon payment.

The gym itself is great. But horrid customer experience so far.

I’ve been going to this gym for about 2 months and I honestly have to say the experience has been great! They have a lot of different equipment and offer personal trainers. My personal trainer is Ashley and I absolutely love her!!! She has made me so comfortable with the gym & helped me find this crazy amount of confidence in myself!! I would recommend her to anyone. Ashley has an amazing amount of knowledge, has a great attitude, & can definitely help you reach your goals!! So if you’re sitting here reading this review wondering if you should start the gym…. DO IT!!! Make sure you ask for Ashley as your personal trainer!!

Im honestly sad to be leaving this review however for months I’ve been trying to clear the issue with my account, been reassured by managers and owners that it would be taken care of and yet I still get charged and have not received any refunds that I was told and that are in writing that I would be receiving. It really sucks because it’s something that could have been handled properly and instead I just keep getting the run around.

So if you sign up here make sure you do it with a credit card and not your acct because they will continue to charge you long after you’ve cancelled your membership.

I was actually searching for a gym to join and I had heard good things about this place but after reading the reviews completely changed my mind. And it’s based on the negative reviews and not the people who placed those reviews but the response back from the gym to those negative reviews. Extremely unprofessional responses. Putting peoples credit business out there, being rude with the comments, calling people names. Extreme high school behavior. How awful the customer service must actually be at this gym considering the responses they are giving to these negative reviews. obviously the people running this gym were raised with no manners and respect and have no clue what customer service is about. Bad business.

The location is excellent t and staff is friendly. The plates are terrible. Hard to grip and arent high quality. . They're rusting and the gyms not old. The dumbells and some of thr equient is new. They replaced some of the rquipment but still cpuld use some work. still some that needs replaced such as the raised machine padding is worn out. The leg press machine is either too far or too short to re rack.

Much nicer gym and equipment than I was expecting ,, the first thing I get when I walk in the gym was what felt like a memorized sales pitch for the gym ,I just hate when people try to sale me something like the warranty calls or the cell phone sales people in the malls lol , I was a bit annoyed so I just left , came back ,I just wanted to walk around and see what equipment they had ,so I asked if I had to listen to the speech they probably all have to memorize he says yes (really annoying) left again ,still considering switching to lift more instead(hardcore gym) I got the no contract membership just in case ,lift more at least they let me walk in and look at every thing they had without someone following me (insurance reasons they said)but epic is literally less than a mile from my house now so I bit the bullet ,came back and listened to the speech from a different person ,,was actually surprised by the first gym session and that epic isn’t another bs planet fitness type gym ..I like the motivational stuff on the walls and the steel plates and dumbbells feel the way weights should, was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a heavy bag like in the photos online ,, over all seems like a really nice gym in which I could make some real progress towards getting back to and surpassing my best pre covid shape

I’ve been going to both locations for about a month. So far I really love this gym. I see some negative reviews about “people that look like they might judge you” and that is the furthest thing from the truth. Everyone sticks to their own workout but if help is needed no one is opposed to helping. There have been plenty of times I’ve asked a question and no one has ever made me feel dumb or bad about myself. Tons of equipment which is clean. Open all night. I love it and can’t wait to start my power lifting journey in this gym

The name says it all. This place is EPIC! The atmosphere is friendly, and the space is super clean. The staff is always professional and happy to help, and even other members are supportive and encouraging when I work out. Total judgement free zone and I love it.

The trainers are also top-notch and affordable. They have group classes, Nutrition help, exclusive machines and even a daycare so you never have a reason to skip a workout. They also have options for memberships to make it affordable for everyone!

We can’t say enough about this gym. From the facility to the equipment, not to mention the staff; this gym tops all in the area. We’ve been members since shortly after their opening and have always had a positive experience on each visit. This gym caters to all types of fitness and experience levels which makes it a well-rounded gym for anyone just starting their fitness program or even to the individuals who have chosen to compete in different events.
