My experience with Equinox ended up being extremely disappointing, and I feel it’s important to share why.

When I first joined at the Miami location, I was told I would have access to the West Palm Beach club once it opened. This turned out to be false, and I was later told I needed to upgrade to an All Access membership. I clearly stated multiple times that I did not want to upgrade.

Despite that, my account was upgraded without my consent, and I was charged $358+ for a plan I never approved. This happened while I was already trying to get clarity on my membership and eventually deciding to cancel due to a medical issue.

I was also never informed during sign-up that I was entering a one-year contract. That lack of transparency added even more frustration.

Communication throughout this entire process was very poor. I had to follow up repeatedly, instructions were unclear, and the West Palm Beach staff were the least friendly of any location I visited.

The experience became so stressful that I chose to fully cancel due to a medical issue instead of even pausing my membership. I am now disputing the unauthorized charge through my bank since Equinox did not resolve it.

For a company that markets itself as a luxury gym, the service, communication, and transparency I experienced were nowhere close to what was promised.

3 squat racks for all of WPB + any NYers visiting. Free weight area is 10 benches for in a 10x15 rectangle. Go elsewhere if you care more about your workout than what the bathroom counters are made of

Awful experience and I felt worse coming out of here than going in . I currently have a membership at EOS Fitness and I was just checking into a day pass and membership here to possibly switch gyms and the staff treated me and my husband like we didn’t belong and very aggressive and mean spirited . We had questions and nobody had any type of customer service skills and a severe lack of empathy and we were brushed off . The horrible staff didn’t even tell us the price of the Equinox membership they just had sour looks on their faces and acted like they wanted us to leave . I truly was shocked with how poorly we were treated . We weren’t dressed in workout clothes but we had questions and didn’t feel respected or heard . Honestly , how we were treated is disgusting and disappointing .I’ve worked out at the Equinox in Los Angeles, California and had a great experience but here I was treated less than human . I don’t recommend this location, it is small, the customer service is non existent, the equipment is basic , this gym is also missing a lot of equipment, and a lot of the staff here have stuck up snooty rude attitudes . If they don’t change their horrible staff they won’t have much business . I will just keep my membership @ EOS Fitness and keep it moving . Don’t recommend here at all !!

I have been here almost everyday since this gym opened, and I’m IN LOVE!! Multiple classes available to take every hour, top notch amenities, and a great community of people. I am so glad I signed up for this gym , it’s worth every cent . Coming from someone who previously paid $200 + a month just for Pilates classes (that were limited) , but with Equinox they offer unlimited classes plus MORE . Bonus perk: be prepared for every photo you take here to be perfect 👌

Equinox really missed the mark on this location.Where is all the equipment? No comparison to their competitor lifetime fitness. Sauna is not hot. The space is nice, but that’s about it.

This place is stunning — modern, upscale, and has that nice vibe that makes you want to work out harder. Brand-new equipment, amazing classes, and a clean, high end. Absolutely obsessed. 🔥
