Long story short I came across owner/founder JT Tapias at the gym i currently go to. We chatted a little and a couple months later here I am down 20lbs and more to go! I am so happy and excited about my experience with FIT Method 4:13!! As difficult as it is not being able to attend classes in person, the online sessions are amazing! I am a private client at the gym. It is never crowded. I don’t have to figure out my own workout.(They create workouts to suit my needs/goals.) I have an appointment that makes me get myself there and gives me accountability. I see great results. Easy. Done. Call them now to get results. JT and the trainers at FIT Method 4:13 are the real deal! Low-pressure, no contract, RESULTS, and kindness are just a few of the reasons I've been a member. It's easy to find 1-1 time to train or do group sessions. Lots of personal service - totally different than any big gym or random solo PT. LOVE!

I started the 6 week program when I got back from college and it has been a huge blessing! While I am a college athlete, I had developed very unhealthy eating habits and had gained excess weight. JT helped me get to my goal weight (the lightest I have been in years) while building more muscle and increasing my fitness capacity. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to join this gym. I initially signed up for the six week challenge and it totally transformed me. I haven’t been in this good of shape for years. The staff is super knowledgeable and supportive. It’s a small gym and I liked feeling like I was being held accountable because the coaches get to know you. In the past it was easy to slack with diet and exercise because I was always willing to short change myself. If you want to change how you look and feel and are willing to commit you should come join us.

My wife and I were visiting Tampa and attended 4 drop in classes. We did 2 group training classes with Kelsey. The workouts were challenging and offered a great mix of cardio and strength. Kelsey provided a wide variety of exercises with options for different levels of difficulty. She kept us motivated.
We also attended 2 yoga classes. Liz was the best. We felt right at home in her class. She provided good instruction and the atmosphere in the room was very relaxing. The hour flew by.
The facility was very clean. All the equipment you need and more. I liked the way they stored the equipment. Try to imagine the combination of a gym and Swiss Army knife.
Next time we are in town we will be dropping in again.

I’ve never done a true diet in my life. I joined this challenge on a whim and I crushed it! Lost 4.5%body fat in 4 weeks and almost 10lbs! This group of trainers and coaches keep you motivated and hold you accountable! This is a kick butt workout and the diet works!! So glad I did this!

I have absolutely fallen in love with FIT Method 4:13! The culture at this gym is amazing. From the moment you walk in, you feel accepted, supported, and challenged! Each workout is different, planned ahead of time, and designed to challenge you. Decided to take the 6 week challenge, after just not being able to lose the weight on my own. And as I am in the last days before my final weigh-in, I am down 21 lbs, and feeling great. No tricks, or gimmicks...just a sensible nutrition plan they lay out, and getting into the gym with their amazing coaches 3x a week. The circuit classes never repeat, and are a FANTASTIC workout for anyone looking to shake things up. Small classes, and personal relationships help make this well worth the time, and effort. If you are on the fence...do it. You will not be disappointed.

Started my 6 wk journey after meeting Liz and hearing how passionate and excited she was for the process and results that everyone got when they held themselves accountable for their own “change”. After signing up I chatted with JT via text often and when I say often this was a whole new world for me...the diet, the groceries what I could or couldn’t eat... any slight inconvenience I had I would text him and he would respond within the hour! Nothing was ever not answered. Vanessa the admin helped me get!set up very quickly and answered any questions I had! 6weeks ago I was at 201lbs I was in a hopeless place when It came to my weight and state of mind and being a former college athlete it bothered me so much. I came across FitMethod on IG and decided to join because I needed that team element and accountability factor that I missed and desired to be around so much from playing basketball all my life.

I took the leap of faith and decided to hop on the 6 week challenge bandwagon (after gaining 30 pounds in a year) and let me tell you, after just the first week I noticed a difference. My clothing fit better, I felt better. Even as the weeks went on, others began noticing the difference as well - coworkers, family members, neighbors, friends.
Through it all my favorite part by far is the workouts. Not only do the coaches know each and everyone one of us by name and go above and beyond to help, but not once was a circuit round ever a repeat of another day. You get just the right amount of time at each station and what is great is that you do three rounds of each circuit allowing you to perfect the exercise even more with each time around.
I would 100% recommend FIT Method to anyone. Most positive gym/workout experience I have ever been a part of. Go check it out!

A great process that caters to all fitness levels.
The 6 week challenge lives up to its name but if you: follow the rules, ask for help (there is plenty of it from JT, accountability coaches, fitness coaches and your challenge community) and commit to the diet and exercise, you will succeed. I’m 5.5 weeks into it and I’m going to hit my goal.
There are great fundamentals you can apply taking the program forward and as a foundation for lifestyle choices.
I’d highly recommend this for anyone looking to kick start their personal fitness. The flexibility of scheduling and accountability paired with achievable goals, throwing in an “I can do this” attitude is a recipe for success.

Fit Method 413 is a pretty amazing place. Coach Katye and Coach JT are Fabulous they Know what they're doing. The Nutritional plan worked and still continues to work for me. I needed Guidance on how to focus on Nutrition vs the work out. You cannot out exercise a bad diet I needed the theology behind that fact.

After gaining 20 pounds in two years, I knew that I needed to lose weight, but I didn't know the path. I prayed several times that God would help me. One day in June, I was walking near my home, and I saw Fit Method 4:13. I went home immediately and looked up this ministry to see if the 4:13 did refer to the Bible. I was intrigued by the website after reading the story of how this gym/program came into existence. But, doubts still flooded my mind. A few weeks later, I finally went in to the place and signed up for the 6-week challenge. Yesterday, I finished the challenge, and then took another big step by signing up for a one-year membership. While my gym experience has been pretty limited, I can say with confidence that this has to be the best workout place in Tampa (by far). The staff is incredible! From day one, you are treated with respect and kindness by all of the coaches. Not only do they make a point to learn your name, but they also individualize the workouts based on specific needs and limitations. At my age, I never dreamed that I would wake up at 4:45 AM to excitedly get to a workout. In just a few weeks, I have lost weight, body fat, and shame. At the same time, I have gained lean muscle, strength, confidence, and new friendships. JT and his coaches and staff are doers of the Word. They spread joy, fun, encouragement, knowledge, and love to their clients. On the last day of the challenge, they told me that they were glad that I had become a part of the family. Thank You, God, for answering my prayer above and beyond.

I love this place! I have never been challenged like this before. I though I was working out until I started here. The hour of hard work goes by so fast and you feel it every time you leave this place. I never get bored with the circuits because they change them up every week. I discovered it through its 6-week challenge. The purpose of this challenge is, first of all, to focus on yourself. You will learn how to be efficient when you workout (better to workout smarter not always harder) and the importance of good meals. During this challenge, you have access to the 2 locations (on Davis island and on Platt St.) + you get unlimited support from the amazing coaches working at Fit Method (thank you JT, Crystal, Randon, Chris, Tim and Liz!) + you get unlimited support from people -- especially from people who have done or who are doing the challenge with you on a private Facebook page! The best workout experience we have encountered in Tampa. It doesn't matter if you have never seen the inside of a gym before or if you are a serious athlete, this is a place to achieve your goals. In the last 5 years we have tried numerous programs in the area and finally found our "home". FitMethod is a game changer. You can’t find anything else like it. It’s a gym, but it’s also a family. You never come in and leave the same.
The trainers are wonderful, professional, and they really are there to transform lives. The circuits are challenging (which is great) but if you stick to it, you will see results and be rewarded for your consistency and diligence.
They are there to really help you reach your goal. Each trainer is unique, but they all have a unified goal to get you where you want to be in health.
I’ve never done anything like this before, I’m a newbie at this whole gym thing but I’ve really embraced fitness as part of a healthy lifestyle because of FitMethod.

I've been coming to this gym for about 6 months and it's been great! I really like the tailored, small group personal training classes because they are challenging and generate real results.
What I like about FitMethod 413 is that you can never become a lazy gym robot because the workouts change every day. You don’t just get to pick the easy exercises you like, and the trainers encourage you to lift heavier weights (within reason). That is why I think it’s worth it to pay for a membership to this gym, rather than just coasting by at some other gym, or going to a group fitness class that’s so crowded you can cut corners because the trainer won’t notice.
Another thing I like about this gym is that a lot of the exercises are compound moves, so (for example) instead of just doing a squat or a bicep curl, you will do a squat with a bicep curl. You can feel that these are better exercises that give you more results for your time in the gym. And it’s helpful to have a trainer on hand to assist with form.
For someone that’s trying to lose weight or new to working out, I think this would be a good gym because there is nutritional coaching in the unlimited membership, and that accountability of balancing your workout and your food intake is helpful.

I have had back problems for over ten years and was having pain daily before I started working out at FIT Method. I would go to the chiropractor every week. Last week, I went in for an adjustment and my doctor asked me what I had been doing differently because my back seemed to be improving a lot! I told her I've been working out and she said that whatever I'm doing is helping. My pain has subsided a ton and I've been able to strengthen my back and core to keep my spine in place and adjustments working. Thanks for helping to relieve my pain, FIT Method!

I give God thanksgiving and praise for JT and Fit Method 413. I have been shown how Scripture clearly wants us to treat our bodies as a living temple of the Most High (1 Corinth 6:19) and Fit Method 413 is the instrument He used to free me from the bondage of emotionally connecting to food. I now view food as a fuel source and find comfort and resolve in two Scripture when temptation arises ( 2 Tim 2:21 & Pvb 20:21). I also learned more about my God given personality and how it plays an important part in my healthy life choices.
I would recommend Fit Method 413 as a means to further understand and apply healthy living for your body, mind, and spirit.

BEST GYM IN SOUTH TAMPA! Fit Method 4:13 is located in the heart hyde park which I love. I've been a member for a few months and I couldn't be happier. JT who is the owner has been more than helpful and so encouraging as I started my journey to get back in shape. Bill and Jenna are amazing, fun and positive personal trainers that work there day in and day out. I've gotten one on one session due to cancellations and I've never been in a workout with more than 6-8 people and most of the time it's between 2-3 of us. They ALWAYS make sure our positioning and form are correct during workouts so we don't hurt ourselfs. They most importantly push us continuously inorder to reach our goal and no matter what you never say "I CANT" in the gym, it's more like " I am currently struggling". I LOVE that FIT METHOD 4:13 does circuit training because I struggle with endurance and long durations of cardio so exercising through circuit training has not only helped me build my endurance and cardio abilities but I've built muscle and strengthened my whole body. Bill always gives us "Jesus Juice" of the day at the end of each workout and it really solidifies my relationship to God and my commitment to working out and staying healthy. Everyone I've met while working out at Fit Method 4:13 is so nice, super friendly, and willingly supportive. Trust when I say you will NOT be disappointed when you join the family of FIT METHOD 4:13!

As a 49 year old female, looking for a fitness studio that wasn't full of machines and single people, I came across Fit Method 4:13 - what a great day that was!
The work outs are ever changing & "fun" - not the same exercise on the same piece of equipment day after day. The members are energetic and excited to be here. The staff is always informative and ALWAYS encouraging.
From my very first consultation 8 months ago to my work out yesterday, I have consistently felt the compassion, drive & desire the Fit Method Team has for each and every one of it's clients.

Joining FIT Method 413 was the best choice I ever made. I absolutely love it. The trainers are awesome and the workouts are super intense. At the end of every workout I always feel a great sense of accomplishment. Moreover, upon joining FIT Method 413 I was given an entire nutrition plan. By being consistent with the workouts and following the nutrition plan I achieved amazing results. Suddenly my weight loss goals don't seem so far away anymore. I would recommend anybody to join. It is amazing!
