Approaching 50 when just everything in your body just stops working the way it should I decided to join FitCo Monticello. The other best decision I made too was for Lauren to be my Personal Trainer. She gave me confidence to not be scared of the dodgy knees, back spasms and no core whatsoever but work on, what we could HARD!! It has been nothing short of brilliant for me. And on the days that I don’t have Lauren it is such a great place to work out doing all the different cardio and machines they have. VERY comfortable to which ever level you are at. Now I would always recommend Lauren but if that’s not your thing I could not recommend FitCo enough whether you are starting on your fitness journey or already know in abundance what you are doing. It’s a very special place where you can get it done x

Best gym I’ve ever been a member of. Cleaning supplies at just about every machine creates a very clean environment. Every machine you could ever want, in addition to being open 24/7 means you can do whatever workout you want at any time of the day!

This is one of the best gyms I've ever been a member of, its an amazing gym.

I was very surprised to see a gym have everything you could ever want in it in such a small town.

It doesn't matter what type of workout you want to do (HIIT, Powerlifting, Weightlifting, CrossFit, Boxing, TRX, Kettlebell, etc) this gym has the equipment required.

It's secure, very clean and the people are great.

The Burtoft brothers are legends among men in the bodybuilding & wellness community. It was nothing short of Divine intervention I ran into Joe in beautiful Monticello. I am a female germ freak and in love with this super clean gym. Trust me I look for cobwebs and dust, bathroom issues and ability to clean equipment prior to use. I am so happy to of found this gym. A local family owned gym, even better! If you have no experience, no problem. This gym has trainers and as a woman I highly recommend taking the basic 101overall health and workout class given by Lauren. She shows you how the equipment is set up to make all members feel comfortable no matter what fitness level. 24 hours very secure and cameras, trust me they are checking regularly. Super personal with the members! A very clean facility. I’ve worked out at Planet Fitness and Crunch and this is better than them by a million. Is also the only gym that I’ve gone to that is truly 24/7. Highly recommend!!

Been going to this gym for a couple of years now, love the machines and the availability since it is 24/7, a big fan of the cable machines and the variety of equipment even with the smaller size! It’s not really out of the way of my daily commute and it’s always open so it’s really helped me build a good routine and helped aid me in my weight loss journey
Would definitely recommend trying it out!

DO NOT join this gym! They will not cancel memberships. The contract says they need a written notice to cancel the membership. We emailed them in advance stating we would like to cancel the membership. The owner came back and said they needed a written letter. Legally, an email is considered a written document. Now I am getting calls from creditors because we owe them months of membership dues. I will be contacting the BBB next and possibly a lawyer if they don't fix this problem.

Do not become a member here. They will refuse to cancel your membership, and when you cancel the card to stop paying for a membership you haven't used in months that they will not cancel, they will send the "debt" to a collections agency.

Just moved to Monticello a few weeks ago and thought I would be stuck driving to Tallahassee for a gym. It turns out this gym has everything and better equipment than most gyms elsewhere. It's super clean and has everything you need to get a great work workout. The owner came and met me on a Sunday just to show me the gym, super nice guy, and of course, I joined immediately.

My bf and I needed to find a gym with a day pass while on vacation. This place was really accommodating and nice, super clean. They have a huge variety of equipment so you can use barbells, db, lots of machines, and there's a cardio area. There are classes available. The owner was really nice and has body building experience, which is cool. 10/10 recommend for any type of fitness (especially for new people with new years coming up). Made a couple of powerlifters really happy💪

Absolutely terrible customer service; very rude, only wants to take your money and make it very difficult to get the paperwork to cancel membership; so you have to email, write letters, etc....to be only told, thats not the proper way to cancel.............Gym is closed more than its open and only certain people have certain rules.........Go somewhere, not here!!! Does not deserve a star at all, but it won't allow me to post unless I check a star :-(
