This new closing @ 9 pm thing is trash Fri Sat and Sun at night is when most people have time off! Tonight 11/22 probably 30 people left the gym at the 9 pm close @ the very least stay open to 10 pm or midnight. The new recovery lounge is awesome, but a lot of equipment needs some tlc that could have been fixed instead of doing the recovery lounge. And Crunch fitness right up the street is about to open up, so you should be trying to keep your long term patrons happy.

Quite a different layout then the Clermont location, but after coming here for a few months, its been good. Good selection of machines and different workout rooms. They also have a dry sauna and a daycare. They have a few great options in house of Chiropractic care and Acupuncture care as well. I started seeing Dr. Michael D. Young D.C. the chiropractor at this facility, can't say enough about how he has helped me overcome unbearable back pain. He is very knowledgeable and kind. Great ambiance in his space of treatment. I highly recommend Fitness CF 👌

My trainer Josh Dieman has been really great. I'm 72 years old and recently intentionally lost over 50 pounds, unfortunely most of it muscle mass. Josh is helping me rebuild my muscle mass that I lost. I have had numerous trainers over the years and Josh has been the best. He is really good at accessing my weaknesses and figuring out what needs to be done.

Despite CF being a pretty awesome gym, that is clean, with tons of machines & a ladies-only workout area, I have been "donating money" for years like a charity I never meant to start because in my head I was going to become a gym person 🤷‍♀️.
Reality? I show up 2–3 times a year, after eating too much during the holidays.

I considered personal training before, but chickened out because I knew I'd ghost.

This year I decided to try again and got paired with Ben Paz. During my introductory session I needed help getting off the floor like a newborn giraffe, but still signed the agreement. 🦒💀

Do I love the gym now? Absolutely not !
Do I love working out with Ben? Weirdly… YES !
He makes it fun, switches routines constantly, and somehow convinces me to finish every session with encouragement and his fun & hyped up trainer energy.

Every session I swear I hate him, but every other day I’m back for more, because I’m seeing progress.

My core is starting to work, and I can sit up / get up from the floor now without negotiating with gravity first & my 🦇 wings are downsizing 🥹 .

If you need a personal trainer, go with Ben. I trained with him for about 3 months and notice real improvement on my ability to perform exercises. I really liked that he focuses on balance, stability, and strength. I’m very Greatfull for his dedication and for paying attention to the areas of my body needed extra work. We’ve been members for a few months now and take our children into the kiddie gym once or twice a week. My youngest (1) goes most often these days. Farah and Sausan have done a wonderful job taking care of him while my husband and I get a workout in. They’re always very attentive and mindful of his needs during his time in there. I appreciate them very much. (:

As for the gym itself, the women’s locker room is always very clean and well kept. The upstairs women only area is a god send for someone like me that isn’t comfortable in the main area. It is small, but as long as there aren’t too many people up there it’s good space wise. There’s also a fair amount of options for a limited space area.

Additionally, I have noticed frequent loitering on equipment downstairs (I specifically go in the morning time). I typically only use the treadmill/stair master in the main area, so it doesn’t directly impact me, but I do think that would be frustrating for anyone that wants to use the things people are occupying to talk.

Overall, this gym works very well for my family. Offering childcare, a women only area, and quite a large selection of workout options makes it a great place for us to be able to workout at the same time. I also think it’s worth noting that unfortunately my son and I will be taking a pause in our gym visits since I am currently pregnant again and not feeling well, but my husband will still be going!

I do like To workout there but some peoples need learning how to treat peoples.
I went to the dance room to get cold water ( is the only place with cold water and was super hot that day).
I was very quiet because they was having Yoga classes. The “teacher” just start to scream with me like I was killing someone’s, she stop

I have been going to this gym for over 10 years. I have been very happy here. The people and the energy of the gym is very positive. But, I feel I need to address a concern. The dress code policy for men has been ridiculous and sexist. Men can't wear particular tank tops to the gym. This is policed by the front desk workers and it seems to be subjective and micromanaged. I have worn the same tank to the gym for years and depending on who is at the front desk, sometimes I walk in fine and do my workout and sometimes I am stopped and told my tank top isn't appropriate and they hand me and oversized fitness cf t shirt to wear. I am told that too much of my chest is showing. But women can walk around in a sports bra and spandex. I am not happy with the micro policing of men's tank tops. It really kills the vibe. There is so much gym appropriate gym apparel from so many different brands, but this gym won't allow gym apparel tank tops in their gym. I am frustrated by this and I have felt the energy drop with a lot of the men who take working out seriously. Sometimes putting on a new gym outfit gives you the motivation and the confidence to show up at the gym. Then when the front desk tells gives you an oversized t shirt to cover up, but allows women to walk in with a sports bra and spandex, it really kills the mood and the motivation. This gym has posters stating that they care about their members. Please stop micromanaging the men's dress code and allow everyone to wear regular gym apparel please. Thank you

FitnessCF completely scammed me. When I signed up, I made it clear I would only be in Orlando for three months and told them I was not interested in a long-term contract. To get me to sign up, they promised I could break the contract and have my $100 fee waived with proof of relocation. I agreed based on that assurance.

When the three months ended, I was told over the phone that the fee could only be reduced to $60. After following up by email, suddenly it was $50. At this point it is clear that the staff either does not know their own policies or simply says whatever they need to get people to sign up.

This whole experience shows the culture of prioritizing sign ups over honesty and customer experience. I originally planned to leave a positive review, but FitnessCF ruined that by misleading me. I was told to read the fine print, but the truth is you cannot trust the workers here. It feels like a scam, and I would not recommend anyone sign a contract with them.

EDIT: After reading the reply, it still shows the business is unwilling to take accountability for its staff’s actions. Either employees feel the need to lie to increase enrollments, or they are poorly trained and misinformed. In both cases, the responsibility falls on the company. Until that changes, FitnessCF will continue to be accused of scamming. Receiving three different answers from three different people reflects a culture of inconsistency and dishonesty, and I can confidently say it is not a good one. Your representatives have repeatedly denied making any changes. Dismissing my concerns as an attempt to bypass only demonstrates a lack of professionalism and accountability on the part of the owner, and it is very embarrassing given the effort you claim to put into caring for your members.

The main reason i got my membership was for the women only area. However, the women area is very small, half of the machines don’t work, and most of the machines are completely outdated. Almost every seat on the machines are wobbly. There is no stairmaster at all, only one smith machine thats always taken. I arrived to the women area and there was a woman using the smith machine, i was there for an hour and when i left, she was still on it. Impossible for me to even use it, workers need to do something about this. If im paying $35 a month and i cant even bring a guest unless i pay an extra $20 per month, id expect more variety and machines that actually work.

Because its located in a plaza with many stores, finding a parking spot is like finding a needle in the hay stack from morning until night. I understand the gym owner cant control this however its something to keep in mind.

The main area is huge and has lots of different machines which is nice, and the employees have always been kind which is a plus.

Been going to this gym for a long time. I have no complaints. My kids love the kids club, staff is great, it’s always clean, something breaks and it’s fixed the next day. Even during prime time there’s enough space to still get a workout in without waiting. Multiple areas and plenty of cardio equipment.

Love this gym. It’s big enough that even when it’s busy there are still plenty of machines and benches. Staff does an AMAZING job keeping everything cleaned, which is the reason why I left my old gym. Giant plus is that there is a kiddie gym and my kids LOVE going. Farah and Sausan are there most mornings to watch my son and they do amazing. My kids call them their “best friends”. Not to mention the GM and the front desk staff (honorable mention to Jamie, Leanna and Whitney!) who makes a point to say hi to my babies every single day. The only thing I think this gym is missing is a steam room, other than that it’s in a great location and totally worth the membership.

I’ve been working with Carlos Perkins for the past few months, and the results have been amazing. He’s extremely knowledgeable, patient, and tailors each session to my needs. I always feel like he has something new for each session so I never get bored. I am amazed with his results. I have two herniated discs in my lower back and could barely move at the beginning of the year due to constant pain. The pain is gone and he’s now got me doing deadlifts with no injuries so far.

This gym is awesome not just because of the equipment, but because of the staff who make it feel like a community. I usually go past 10pm, and Ernest is almost always at the front desk during those late hours. He’s hands down the nicest employee I’ve met—always welcoming, super knowledgeable, and genuinely approachable. Ernest sets the tone for a great workout every time I walk in.

Shoutout as well to Alex, Collin, and Jamie—together they really make the gym feel like more than just a place to exercise. The equipment is clean, well-maintained, and I never have to wait long to use anything. Overall, this is one of the best gyms I’ve been to, thanks in large part to the team that runs it.

Cons: Gym equipment feels dirty and does not give you the modern feel. Worst of all they operate there business not customer first focused as when i asked kindly to cancel my membership they said to give them a 30 day noticed and charged me another month…yeah they are one of those gyms. Why is it so hard to treat customers the way you would want to be treated to instead make an extra $60 off me? A total joke. For that reason alone i can’t recommend this gym.

This has been my first and only experience being a gym member. And it’s been the absolute greatest tool in helping me reach my goals!! I joined July 1st and I’ve had nothing but awesome work outs, immaculate vibes, the most amazing customer service and just overall the best situation possible. I want to edit my review real quick to add a quick story that seems relevant to some recent negative comments.

The other day I wanted to try to hydromassage bed. I went into the room and quickly realized I needed a code. So of course I moved the door label to available. I can’t claim it if I’m not ready to use it. I approached the front desk to see what steps to take. An awesome young man and incredible female manager (I will learn names!!! I’m so sorry!!!) helped me in the absolute most friendly and professional way. Once I got my code I walked back to the room, fully intending to wait 10 MINUTES if someone occupied the room before I got back. Life is far too short to get worked up about sharing space with likeminded individuals who go to the gym to better themselves. I was lucky though, and got an immediate chance to try the hydromassage. It was AMAZING!!!

My life has never been better this past month and I owe so much of that to this establishment.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this place, I had a bad experience, a guy insulted me while I was waiting to enter the Jacuzzi area, so I told him I'm sorry but I'm waiting for my password to be able to use the service since it was the first time I was going to use it and I didn't know that they had to give me a password, he was bold and started yelling at me that he had paid for this service, clearly I also had it included in my membership but the man just wanted to be a jerk. I went with my daughter and cousin to the From desk to let the guys in charge know what was happening. and the girl LEENA did not allow us to talk, she was angry because the man had gone to complain. I tried to explain what happened and the man's behavior towards us, and she told me to shut up in a very rude way. We told him we would cancel the membership and he responded that he would be happy to do so. We expressed to him how sad his mistreatment was and that it was incredible to have a two-year membership and how we received this treatment. It was too humiliating and frustrating that this girl did not behave in a neutral and passive way, in the face of the situation and manage to handle this type of situation. His first reaction was to take action against us as if we had been guilty.

This gym showed me firsthand how prejudice, microaggressions, and passive-aggressive racism are alive and well in their staff culture. I was treated like a threat for simply walking in to work out — something I’ve done for over 2 years without a single issue. Suddenly, I was being questioned, challenged, and hit with the line: “This is private property” — as if I was loitering or trespassing.

Not once did I refuse to comply with whatever policy they were now trying to enforce. What I didn’t tolerate was the tone, the disrespect, and the way the situation was being mishandled — when the discrepancy was clearly on their end.

When I calmly explained that nothing about how I checked in had changed, the employee — Jamie — chose to escalate. I tried to step away and speak to someone else, only for him to insert himself again. That behavior wasn’t just unprofessional — it was controlling, antagonistic, and unnecessary.

He ended up calling the manager, Leanne, at my request. I was hoping for someone who could actually de-escalate the situation, but instead, I got more of the same. She minimized my experience, defended her employee without asking a single clarifying question, and showed zero interest in understanding what actually happened. That’s not just bad customer service — it’s a complete lack of awareness and basic respect.

If you’re a Black woman, or frankly anyone who expects to be treated with fairness and dignity, you deserve to know what you’re walking into. This wasn’t just about one bad interaction — it’s about the culture: the dismissiveness, the subtle aggression, the coded language, and the clear discomfort when someone like me speaks up instead of staying silent.

Came here as a guest and the gym has everything. I didn't get hassled to pay as a guest even though I told them I had no intention of signing up because I'm visiting from out of state. I like this GYM! But my only complaint is music in the GYM it’s constantly dark HIP HOP no diversity in music! And come on guys this is Family place!!!!
Talked to someone at the front desk and she told me, sorry but this is what kind of music this days.
If this thing not going to change I have to find another GYM!

This is a pretty awesome gym! It is open 24 hrs Monday through Friday and the Saturday/Sunday hours are 5am to 9pm. The gym has lots of equipment, especially lower body equipment for you ladies (and men) who want to grow your ass.

Never sign a contract with this company. I called to cancel my membership, and they told me it would be taken care of — but months later, I found out it was never canceled. I reached out to the store managers, and they claimed that since there was no proof, I still had to pay the overdue balance.

They now say cancellations can’t be done over the phone, which is something they never mentioned before. It’s a well-structured scam to keep charging you even after you try to cancel. They completely wash their hands of any responsibility. Stay away!

We visited this location while on vacation in Orlando and were very impressed. The sheer amount of equipment/machines was awesome! We also attended some Les Mills classes with great instructors. The lockers rooms and rest of the facility was really nice and clean. This gym is really an amazing value and we were jealous since we were just in town visiting. To summarize, this location has incompetent employees that shouldn't be in the customer service industry.

Rationale: Front desk employee, "Amari", stated that I can't set my dumbells on a bench in between sets. I found this to be an odd request/rule as someone that's been going to Fitness CF, and golds prior, for over a decade. I've never seen the rule posted anywhere, nor have I seen the rule enforced at ANY gym in my two decades of working out. I asked "Amari" if the rule was posted anywhere. He immediately stated the rule was posted up front. I couldn't find the rule posted anywhere, so I asked Amari for direction. Amari appeared frustrated and embarrassed to be caught in such a blatent lie. He proceeded to make me leave the gym due to my inquiry about the odd rule and where the rule was posted. Keep in mind I wasn't rude in any way, shape or form. No screaming, profanity, or rude comments. I was simply attempting to ensure members are being made aware of the expectations they're being held to.

I'm currently reaching out to upper management in hopes of resolving the matter. I will update my review with the results.

I am very saddened that I have to make this post after being a loyal member for 4 years!!! Do not get your gym membership here!!!! The management no longer cares about the quality of their service!
I’m here on sat Jan 4th NO ONE IS HERE, when last year it was packed at this time
There has been an extreme down turn due to management. When I fist started (highest level member by the way) there were spray bottles at every station to sanitize equipment and attendants were always walking around cleaning. Then they changed that with small sanitizer wipes (often 5-30ft away, if they are not empty). You can see how few people get them.
Today, after being gone for 6 months I was just informed that my membership no longer complimentary and that they are SELLING TOWLS!!!!!!. Clearly sanitation has been totally deprioritized, I have gotten a staff infection from gums before and will not be a member at a place that constantly deprioritizes it.
Furthermore, the equipment is pretty well worn, as expected, but when they replace something they choose the cheapest brand on the market. Water fountains keep running for no reason and so on. I understand times are hard but the only thing these people can think of is to be cheap, never mind the fact that they have a retail space that has gone totally unused for years and that they hang 3 shirts up on a wall and call that merchandising!

It is the worst place ever, front desk Jamie white man long hair doesn’t even want to help out when the free 3 days pass expired and not even use it. People don’t know when you apply you have to be come immediately, things can change but the front desk Jamie doesn’t even want to help but go for the plan????

How is the three days pass using? I only used once but denied the rest two days? Not everyone knows you have to come continuously 3 days? There is no one tell me. I canceled my gym membership four months ago, but now they claim I owe them $150 and have even sent my account to a collection agency, which I believe is illegal. I will be sending a letter to CF Fitness and their attorney from my lawyer, as this is not a good faith business practice. The management at this gym appears inexperienced, and their actions are putting my credit at risk for months of service I did not use. I intend to raise awareness about CF Fitness in Dr. Phillips through local media.

I used to tell everyone this was the best gym in central Florida. I'm taking back that statement. I have not been treated so rudely and by an incompetent manager. This gym lied to me, told me there were no contracts, but now told me i have a 12 month agreement to fulfill. The unprofessional manager couldn't even tell me the difference between an agreement and a contract and just said to me in a court of law, im wrong. What happened to the guest service? This is not what it once was. I was a member for over 3 years, not anymore.

I’ve been attending Fitness CF Orlando off and on for about 15 years, ever since it was Gold’s Gym. For the last three years, I’ve been more consistent, hitting the gym every Sunday and Wednesday. Over that time, this gym has become one of my favorite places to train, and here’s why.

First off, the staff is always cool and welcoming. The environment is laid-back, and everyone is friendly. The gym is always clean, which is a huge plus for me, and I have no complaints there. But what really sets this gym apart for me is the state-of-the-art equipment. As someone who loves bodybuilding, I appreciate that they have machines and free weights that cater to my needs. Whether it's targeting specific muscle groups or focusing on overall conditioning, Fitness CF always has the right tools.

One of my favorite areas is the conditioning room. Since I’m not a big fan of traditional cardio, I love that I can use the space to focus on functional fitness and conditioning. The heavy bag room is another spot where I like to switch things up, and of course, the machine area is always well-stocked with everything I need for hypertrophy training.

Another thing I’ve noticed about working out here is the motivation that comes from the community. The clientele is focused, and you can tell people are here to improve themselves. The gym attracts a lot of bodybuilders and fitness competitors, which inspires me to keep pushing toward my own goals. But it's also a place where everyone, regardless of fitness level, is welcome. People of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds come here to train, and that sense of community really shines through there’s always someone willing to offer help or advice.

Compared to other gyms I’ve been to, Fitness CF Orlando has the most up-to-date equipment and a variety of workout spaces to suit any fitness style. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete, there’s something here for everyone.

If you’re looking for a gym that has a welcoming community, excellent equipment, and great classes, I’d highly recommend Fitness CF Orlando. Personally, I’m a big fan of their Body Attack class, but they offer a wide range of classes to suit all fitness levels. If you're serious about getting in shape, this is the place to be.

I’m gonna start by saying that this is still by far the biggest/best gym in town hands down, however, ever since the name changed from Gold’s to Fitness CF, is noticeable the significant difference when it comes to the staffs friendliness, professionalism and the way some of the front desk employees don’t even smile to welcome the members, projecting a sense of entitlement, arrogance and awkwardness. I’ve been coming to this gym since 2007 and have to say that I really miss the camaraderie that existed back when it was Gold’s gym!
