I have been attending this gym for almost three years and if I lock myself up to do exercises in a single area it is for the simple reason that more than one area smells of urine and I have no reason to lie Mr. Supervisor, solve that problem and do not look for excuses by making everyone believe that everything is perfect in your gym, manage your employees well and train your manager better to deal with clients because I repeat, they are lazy and do not share that same idea of ​​excellence as you paint it. There are pieces of equipment constatly moved from place to place in this gym, (kettlebells, dumbells, steps, etc. ) sometimes returned, but mostly not. So when a client complains that the kettlebells that have always been in the ladies area ( which is true) are missing, they are told by 3 or 4 employees (
ganged up on) that there have never been kettlebells in the ladies area and that moving equipment from space to space is a violation of club rules.
And now the client is made to feel they are wrongdoers.
Just last week i was in the front right area, for floor exercise. And a female trainer was all hugged up and kissing on a client for 15 minutes, it was extremely unprofessional.
This firness center has really gone downhill since i started 3 yrs ago.
Once, I forgot my badge for scanning in, and didnt have my phone, and asked them to look up my acct so i could enter the facility, it was if I had asked for a kidney, was told just this one time. I will be looking forward to Crunch Fitness opening

Consistent Policy Violations & Unresponsive Management

UPDATE after management's reply. They say, "all the effort..." as if that means anything. Every time I was in the gym they have these announcements saying something like "attention staff, it is time for a facility sweep." In these sweeps I saw them check the sauna ZERO times. It is not hard to open the door briefly and remind members of the rules, which are already posted on the door.

I joined this gym primarily for the sauna, but despite clear rules prohibiting phones, shoes, and music (with prominent signage), there are violations during every single visit I've made. Not once in many visits has the sauna been rule-compliant.

I've made extensive efforts to address this through proper channels: speaking with staff in person, texting, using the app, emailing the manager, and contacting the president (as directed by their posted signage). While the manager responded courteously, no action followed. The president hasn't responded to my March 28 email despite their instructions to contact them with concerns.

Most concerning is that during the gym's announced facility sweeps, I haven't once seen staff check the sauna area to enforce policies. The facility itself is decent, but management's failure to enforce their own rules makes the sauna experience consistently disappointing. I cannot recommend this gym if you value a proper sauna experience.

I love the accessibility to all equipment that I needed to get a great workout in. The staff are always friendly and helpful anytime I have asked any questions. One of the personal trainers there was very patient and helpful with me on dietary and other questions/concerns I had regarding injuries and working out and another time the personal trainer went out of his way to ask how I was doing months later to encourage me on my fitness journey. I appreciate the atmosphere and friendliness as well as the staff/management support & cleaning the restroom and the amount of disinfectant wipes stations available. Would definitely recommend. I had obtained a personal trainer. His name is Mike Clarke he is very professional and makes a point to create a workout plan for you individually. I have been coming to this gym since we moved here 5 years ago and I absolutely love it here. The staff is very understanding, Professional and kind. The gym is always very well maintained and clean and overall has a great vibe. I never understand the reviews that people give for this gym and I honestly think it has something to do with a personal situation. These are very rare occurrence where it leaves a negative taste in their mouth and shouldn’t reflect the Gym‘s overall standing. Recently, I was also able to start training with my 12 year-old and now she is in the best shape ever. Keep in mind she does not train on her own. She’s always supervised and with me and I did sign a waiver, but this was also to allow for her to become healthier overall and the gym allows it without issue. As a whole, we really love this gym not just for ourselves individually, but for our entire family. Speaking from someone that has been at this gym for a while do not take the negative comments that people leave about this Gym seriously at all. Go and try it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

They charged my card, stealing my rent money. I called to rectify that I wasn't even going to their gym anymore and that id be homeless if they didnt return my money. The manager didnt care and said i should have read the agreement, of which i did actually.

And to cancel they extort you for even more money, basically over 100$ just to cancel your membership. Really bad people who want money for basically nothing as there is no resources or service being used up. As like i said i went for about a week and then haven't been back since.

So it makes even less sense to charge me for a service i was not even using. Costumer service was confrontational, and blamed me for their literal theft of my rent money. Why would anyone go here? Is it really a selling point that you will be like, "wow i shouldn't have even gone here or tried this gym its ruining me financially in an unreasonable amount of money."

They stole about 150$ as if in a recession and inflation i could really afford that. They dont care that im going to be homeless now, in fact he seemed to enjoy that fact. Please spare yourself this kind of thing by no one going here. Find a reasonable gym that doesn't extort people for money.

This is a disgusting place to train. When I signed up, I let the person who helped me know that I didn't want to pay for a year, that I wanted to go month to month since I didn't know the gym well. When I went to cancel my membership, they told me I had to pay $99 because they put me on a one-year plan. Besides, the gym smells rotten. I don't recommend anyone come to this gym. It's very expensive for what it is. Hahaha, they're hilarious.

Good gym overall. Plenty of machines and compound lifts one can use without waiting. Two things that I feel would improve this gym is that for the price one pays, it's aesthetics looks outdated and machines are old. And the music playlist played is beyond trash. Good gym really love working out. I usually come to workout on my days off around 12-3 am today I had a situation with one of the employees name Xavier, during my workout Xavier came up to me in a aggressive tone telling me to stop slamming the weights told him why he gave me his reasoning I understood and respected that and continued my workout as he was vacuuming the floor he starts to come close to my area not saying that’s a problem but near me I had my personal belongings such as my book bag and my phone set up next to it. Xavier could’ve handle the situation professionally and tell me to either, if it’s okay if he could move my personal belongings or come to me and ask if I could plz move my stuff. Instead he took actions on his own hands and grabs my stuff moves it to the side knocking down my phone too vacuum. I confronted saying what’s ur problem he started to get hostile with me gets in my face and drops his vacuum to tell me what you gonna do about it, I stood in my ground told him what was he gonna do about it. Xavier went to grab somebody in the front desk both employees escorted me out. Never in my life, paying for this gym for two years had a problem with anyone. i find this so unprofessional. It was a rainy day cold outside waiting for a uber I understood I was escorted out but as a member that pays I decided to wait inside Told them I’m waiting for my uber. Cops were called explained told them they could’ve handle the problem a different way, they agreed and went on my way.

Five stars goes to the manager, Aaron Clayton. His commitment to customer care is obvious and greatly appreciated.
This is a big community gym. You will run into neighbors, educators, students, friends and family- at some point.
The gym has plenty of wipes to wipe equipment down and an array of workout equipment.
It stays fairly busy but I can always manage to find a quiet spot…
The gym itself gets a four for overall fitness equipment accessibility and cleanliness-
There is a woman’s section but it has limited functionality compared to the rest of the gym.

Billing practices are fraudulent! Been in the location to cancel membership , emailed Aaron the “manager” and spoken on the phone multiple times with employees and managers, the last two years. They still haven’t canceled my membership and have fraudulently charged my bank. Two years I’ve been reaching out that I’ve had to report the charges as fraudulent and the management still has done nothing about it. I emailed them two more times tonight and it’s still not resolved. I don’t know who this “Aaron” is at the Saint Cloud location but they need to go!!! Can’t even follow up with an email and is completely unprofessional for not doing their job. Location has a history of being absolutely filthy, showers, dirty, and the equipment Nasty as hell. Do not get a membership here it is not worth it.

I rarely leave reviews when I’m dissatisfied with something. I was a member at the turkey lake location, it is the best gym I’ve been to. Always clean and nice employees. I generally go at night so it’s never as busy as daytime which explains why it’s always well kept at that time. I recently moved to the St.Cloud location and this location is filthy, it stinks all the time. The locker room smells like mildew, the carpets are old, the equipment are extremely old in the women’s area. Today I came in and the entire locker room as well as the sauna smelled like straight up feces. The kind that makes you want to throw up. I have never seen anybody cleaning at that location when I’ve been there. I’ve gone early and at night and it always smells.

I unfortunately think I will have to Vance my membership if this continues.

Look, I have had membership at Planet Fitness, La Fitness, and Crunch(which is the worst of them all), but CF is something else. It’s clean, there are enough benches, machines, and cardio equipment to get your workouts in, especially during peak hours. The people are friendly there, the sauna is maintained and clean thoroughly as well. The interior design and music choice are a bit outdated though, but you learn to love and appreciate it. Heck, nothing gets you more motivated than hearing “Eye of the tiger”!

Despite its potential, this gym falls short due to its atrocious staff and unfriendly members (mostly older adults). As someone with a disability who uses a service dog, I was subjected to harassment from both members and staff, particularly Max and the Spanish-speaking front desk lady with light eyes.

Don't bother reaching out to corporate, as Matt, the CFO, is unhelpful, ignorant, and rude, with glaring grammatical errors that are embarrassing for someone in his position.

On a positive note, Aaron, the general manager, was empathetic and apologetic via email, acknowledging the staff's poor behavior and the inconvenience it caused me. However, I wish he had intervened sooner to prevent the situation from escalating.

Unfortunately, my experience has left me traumatized, and I strongly advise against joining this gym. Take your business (and your well-being) elsewhere.

**update** Kevin, the usual greeter, apologized for the mishap. And I do appreciate it. But still no reason why if someone is the greater for that moment, than I'm starred down as if I don't belong at the gym or Im unwelcomed

My wife and I have been coming here for over a yr. When we first started coming, there was an incident (where I overreacted and apologized to the employee in person) whether he accepted it or not, I don't care. But still, a year later on and my wife and I are ignored when we walk in. Stared down as if we didn't belong. Recently, I spoke with a newer employee who agrees that he sees that greeters are not even greeting people. As a greeter, it's your job. Well, after that talk about 3 weeks ago. It seemed we were being welcomed, and it was nice. Now, this morning, the employee there this morning decided she would stare my wife and I down again. I said good morning, and she fully ignored my existence. If you can't have a greeter, greet people, then fire them. It's a simple, easy job. I don't care what your vendetta is against me. DO YOUR JOB.

I pay almost $30 a month and this gym is totally worth it. It’s the best gym in the area. Very spacious and has all the equipment you can ask for in a gym. I’m hoping St. Cloud grows to the point where they can offer 24 hours every day of the week

Terrible, the air conditioning does not work, it is impossible to train like this, I have spoken with the customer service people and no corrective measures are taken, this problem has been going on for 2 months.

ok had a bad review on CF fitness St. Cloud but they made it right. "Kinda" but way more then I thought they would. I really like the new Manager Arron , that might not be his name or the way he spells it.

I have been attending this gym (about 8 years) because it is conveniently located near me, and my family is charged $96 every month. However, there have been months where we haven't used the facilities at all, and yet the gym continues to receive the payment. I would like to address the issue regarding the quality of the spinning bikes and the condition of the spinning room. It is disappointing to see that the bikes are not well-maintained and the spinning room is not up to par. I kindly request the gym owners and management to take action on these matters, as it may result in the loss of customers. I hope they will consider improving the quality of the equipment and the overall experience for their members.

Group classes are great

I'm back here today to add to my previous comment. I regularly attend classes for seniors (Silver Sneakers). I am writing this message to praise the Silver Sneakers class instructors. They are all excellent but I would like to give a special mention to instructor Jen who teaches on Fridays at 11:30am. Her class is extraordinary, always fun while still being intense. She is always happy and her joy and energy are contagious. I really like the playlists she uses in classes. My wife and I always look forward to Friday’s class so we can take her class.

Came in person back on October and told them that because I moved, I needed to cancel the membership. The employee who took care of me scanned my card and said “you all set”! I DID KNOW that contact said I have to cancel thru a letter but i thought that coming in person was as good as “in writing”
The employee just said “you are all set”!!
I just received a letter from a lawyers office trying to collect $305.33
Just came in person and tried to reason and explain that the employee did not say anything to me as far as still having to cancel thru a letter. The one in charge today 2-27-24 at 3:40pm said it is nothing that he can do because my account is in collections! I do have to pay for somebody else’s mistake? I do not think so! The word of mouth is something powerful and I will tell as many friends and family as I can how unfair this place is!

Its a beautiful gym, and I really appreciate the women's section. However the weekend hours for the "daycare" are terrible. Also, be aware, their 30-day cancellation rule is not just for the monthly fees but for the annual as well, so if you have the unfortunate timing to cancel within the few weeks before the charge comes up, you will still be charged the annual fee for a year you wont be using the gym.

My experience at this Gym has been tainted by persistent microaggressions targeting Black men like myself. While the gym offers excellent facilities. Despite reaching out to management, their dismissive response only exacerbated the issue. I hope this gym recognizes the need for change and takes concrete steps to foster an inclusive and respectful environment for all members, regardless of race and background.

Staff is great, but if you're looking at getting strong this is not the place for you. They just removed their 120# dumbbells and the manager stated they will not replace any dumbbells over 105# in the future. They also just opened up a new room with racks but bumper plates only so you can't load more than 405 on the bars for deadlifts or squats. Slowly turning into planet fitness without the cheap memberships.

They just added a new room and are going over the top with the rules. No metal plates in the room. Even if it’s a 10!! Being so strict it kills the atmosphere and makes me want to cancel my membership
