I've tried 24 Hour Fitness, Planet Fitness, YouFit...you name it. Commercial gyms simply are not on the caliber that Fitness System is. The facility is constantly sanitized and cleaned, abundantly stocked with proper lifting equipment, and never have to wait on anyone to get my lift in. The hours are SO convenient especially for us who work throughout normal daytime hours. I love how no photos and recording is allowed on the floor, something that is rampant and uncomfortable at other gyms. No frills, just get a good lift in, and take your progress photos in their dedicated progress room. There's also showers, lockers, and even a red light sauna. Best gym THUS FAR!

Not one to typically leave reviews but, this place and its employees deserve my time since I spend so much time here. I left UFC 4mo ago because it became a social media gym with nothing ever getting fixed. From the courteous staff greeting you to the premier equipment you can find here, this place deserves my $! Sure, there’s an annual fee, but if you can’t justify that as in investment to you own health and fitness then you should do some self reflection!

My workouts are now enhanced because I recently joined Fitness Systems Sunrise location. Recommended by a friend who said it was the best location for a complete training facility. He was right. The location is further enhanced by two people who work there (Daniel and Kaylani). Both go out of their way to ensure your experience at the facility meets every requirement for your training. Both make themselves available to answer and questions, consider options for your training requirements, and/or ensure your supplement needs are brought in to support your training. I am confident in a very short time that I made the correct decision choosing Fitness Systems over the gym I was attending prior. If you are truly serious about your training, Fitness Systems is the place for you.

Tbh, I’m going here because I’ve spent so much already. Equipment needs to be updated/swapped, especially cardio. Today I put my 30 day notice to cancel and have to pay for the following month as well. It would be great to finally see a gym whose owners actually care about the quality of its equipment and it's gym goers. Employees are great, tbh you can tell that they enjoy training and care about the gym goers. They make up for what the gym lacks. Other than that, the equipment and vibe…

I asked for a month pass, apparently they made me sign a monthly pass… I don’t even live in Fort Lauderdale and was never notified that I have a “balance due” and now a year later I’m getting notified by debt collection I owe over $220. I tried to call them and see why I wasn’t even told I owe and the manager Daniel basically said I should’ve read what I signed even tho it was their mistake. Now not only do I owe but it’s also at debt collection and affecting my credit, again when no one even thought to call or email me. Cool gym but terrible customer service in my opinion, and I travel the world visiting gyms.

Update for Their response:
I called and tried to fix it and everyone told me it was out of your hands. Yes it is illegal and I am in the process of getting legal help. I already paid because of the fact that your manager told me it was “out of their hands after collection” I paid, I don’t need your assistance at this point. Maybe next time train your staff a little better on customer service, again cool gym but I’ve been to many and after my experience and reading the 1 star comments it seems as if you guys forgot the customer should come first to a business. Love this gym! The staff is invested in keeping this place clean ! Not just surface clean, but deeply cleaned. They keep the chrome polished. Dust is never visible to the eye. I have seen members of management scrubbing spots in the carpet by hand. Kindness in the service industry is rare and when both Managers Nate & Daniel started greeting me by name without formal introductions it warmed my heart! The entire staff has been kind and welcoming.

I have only been going about a month and from what I see i love. You walk in they call you by name. Not like because you scanned you barcode. They arent even near the computer and they know your name. The Italian made machines I never even seen these brands but the way that they have transformed my body is crazy. It's super clean and its an environment where everyone is laser focused on improving their lifestyle. I dont have smaller babies but they have a daycare its included in the membership. They thougt of everything for you to noy make any excuses. Your health is their top priority! I love it here!!

Horrible business practice. You can sign up and electronically sign online but they require you to come in and sign in person to cancel and then on top of that they have a 30 day cancelation process and this means they can charge you for another month. Gross. Then the owner trys to justify this gross business practice by saying it ok because other gyms do it and that I sign a document stating it...... gets even better.

I had to leave a review because the owners of this gym are truly exceptional. 💕On my second day, Holly came up to me just to say hello and check if I had been able to find the equipment I needed. I had no idea she was the co-owner at the time, and I was amazed by how warm and welcoming she was. Learning of her role later only reinforced how much the owners genuinely care about their members.

This gym has such a family-friendly environment, and I love seeing couples come in with their children. There’s even a designated area where little ones can be cared for while their parents work out, which is such a thoughtful touch.

One of the standout features of this gym is the top-notch equipment, especially for anyone into bodybuilding or those just looking to stay fit and look good. The back and upper body equipment are absolutely incredible, well-maintained and designed to meet the needs of both beginners and serious fitness enthusiasts. It’s a rare find and makes a huge difference in getting the best possible workout.

I also have to give a special mention to Alex at the front desk: always kind, helpful, and patient without ever making anyone feel like a burden. That level of customer service truly stands out.

Even fellow gym-goers are incredibly kind. There was a time when I got stuck on a machine, and out of nowhere, someone stepped in to help without me even asking. Moments like that show what kind of community this gym fosters.

I also appreciate that the owners support local small businesses, giving them a space to showcase their health and fitness-related products. It’s clear that they care not just about the gym itself but about creating opportunities for the broader community.

Of course, there is always room for improvement, but that’s true of anything in life. What stands out most is that the owners seem genuinely invested in making this gym the best it can be for everyone.

This is the best gym I’ve ever been a member of, the place is spotless and tidy, well lit and has so many choices when it comes to feee weights and machines.
I read some of the negative reviews and it was clear to me that they were not truthful. The policies regarding charges, cancellation, yearly dues were explained to me clearly before signing up. The staff is helpful and professional and willing to answer any questions. In the time I’ve been here I have e not seen any rude behavior from gym goers either. No weight dropping, loud grunts or anything of the sort, conversations are inaudible to others when people are working out in groups. Everyone here seems focused and serious about their health and fitness which I assume can come off as rude if you’re the type that seeks validation from others or are seeking social interaction at the gym. There are all kinds of people here with all kinds of fitness levels and everyone is respectful of each other. Throughout my life due to moving for work I’ve been a member of practically every gym that has ever been from extinct places like Bally’s, Gold’s to the most expensive like equinox or crunch and this is the one place that really has made me feel very motivated about my workouts especially now that I’m nearing 60 years old it’s super important to be somewhere judgement free and welcoming.

Fitness Systems is a great gym — the staff is friendly, the facility is clean, and the equipment is top-notch. But that’s not the main reason I’m writing this.

Last week, I accidentally left my expensive headphones at the gym. I assumed they were gone for good and was honestly pretty disappointed. To my surprise, when I returned a week later, someone had turned them in.

Let’s be honest — at most gyms, that would’ve been the end of it. But not here. The honesty and integrity of the community at Fitness Systems truly stood out to me. From the most seasoned lifters to beginners, everyone treats each other with respect and kindness.

The gym AND members are the absolute best. Even at peak hours, you WILL get on the equipment you wanted to work out on. Everyone re racks their weights.

Equipment is new. Gym is spotless. Staff is Johnny Professional.

If you wanna go swimming, lay in a hot tub, ride an excersise bike in a movie theater, pizza and donut fridays, record yourself holding yoga poses for your ig. There's always a planet fitness somewhere.

"I recently visited this gym, and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The facility itself was extremely dirty—equipment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, the floors were grimy, and there was trash scattered in some areas. Hygiene is so important in a gym environment, and this place seemed to ignore basic cleanliness standards.

Even worse, my interactions with the staff were alarming. A couple of the trainers came across as rude and unprofessional, and I felt like their behavior bordered on threatening when I asked for assistance. It made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

I believe every gym should prioritize a welcoming atmosphere, cleanliness, and respectful staff, but this gym failed in all these areas. I hope management takes these concerns seriously because no one should leave a workout feeling stressed and uneasy."

I'm so utterly disgusted with this gym, I can't even find the words to describe the experience. My girlfriend and I were harassed and threatened by a trainer, who still works there by the way, and this was never properly investigated or addressed. To make matters worse, our families membership was revoked without warning. The gym staff tried to cover up the situation by lying about racist remarks, which is just another injustice.

The people that own this gym clearly do not care about the safety and comfort of their customers, and I would strongly urge people to stay away from this place. It's an absolute garbage establishment and they should be ashamed of themselves.

When I was looking for a gym to continue my journey to become healthy again I was told about Fitness System Sawgrass first of all I do not like gyms or working out I'm more of an outdoor exercise kind of guy, but I’m getting up there in age so it’s something I needed to add. When I first visited I Felt intimidated by the size of some of the people, but once I began working out that Intimidation turned into motivation.
The gym is very clean and the machines work incredibly well if there is an issue with the machine, the staff quickly fixes the problem right then and there.

It's the very best gym in South Florida. Over 25k sq. ft. of the best fitness equipment money can buy! Membership has all the perks, childcare, fitness classes, posing room, powerlifting room, Infrared Sauna to name a few. They have fitness apparel, protein bars, pre-workouts, intra workouts, and post workout drinks. They also sell other supplements (Raw Nutrition, Metabolic Nutrition) to help build muscle and burn fat. They also have personal trainers if you need that service. The owners and employees are amazing at customer service. They really take care of their members. Did I mention the gym is 24 hours? Well, it is. If you can't sleep, go get a great workout.

I had to move back to Davie for a few months and did a workout at the chain gym around the corner. One session there and I knew it wouldn't work - joining Fitness System was one of the best decisions I made. The staff is friendly and helpful, there's a great variety of equipment, and even when the gym was busy I was able to get to everything I need. Fitness Systems is one of the best gyms in South Florida by far. Hardcore, equipment is INSANE, but the best part the atmosphere is exciting. It makes you want to go to the gym and train. Possibly one of the best gyms I've been to, and definitely the best in South Florida (maybe the state?) The facility is extremely clean and organized, the staff is super friendly and attentive, and it has tons of equipment for every need, which reduces wait times. If a machine is out of order, it's immediately fixed or replaced. When I moved away and had to cancel my membership, the process was super easy, and the manager kindly provided options to rejoin/temporarily use the facility when I'm back home. Now living in NYC with tons of options, I still struggle to find one as good as Fitness Systems.

Please stay away from this gym. There’s too many other great options to choose from and let me tell you why. Aside from the terrible customer service, dirty environment, they have ridiculous fees! When I went in to the facility to CANCEL the manager charged my account the yearly fee. If i am cancelling my membership why am I paying for the following years maintenance fee if I won’t be using the facility. The manager refuses to help in any way and justifies this charge. This is what will happen when you try to cancel. Like other reviews they have hidden fees and a staff who will do anything to meet their numbers so they STEAL. Now FS is attempting to collect money from me around $300 in collections. Again you pay for the month in advance and I cancelled my membership so why would I owe you anything? Please save the headache and find another gym. I have had gym memberships since I was 18! And I have never seen such disgusting behavior from a fitness facility because there are no endorphins being released here - the staff and policies are a complete nightmare that you can avoid by avoiding this place.

Worst gym ever!!! I enrolled 3 months ago and when i went for cancellation they charged me maintainance fee and water fee for the whole year. Why would i pay the fee for the whole year when i only came to the gym for 3 months??? And when i went to cancel the membership they said they have a 30 day cancellation notice policy ??? Disgruntled because when I was closing my account and paying my last month a staff advised me to freeze the account instead, so that if I did not end up switching gyms because of the move I could just unfreeze, or when sure I would change gyms because of the move completely cancel since I had payed my last month already.
When I came back to close this wasn’t honored and forced to pay another month to close…

Don’t believe any of the reviews that they beg members to write for “incentives” this gym is the worst in the area. It’s dirty and I mean filthy. Worse than pre Covid gym standards and to make matters worse they have plenty of staff but instead they’d prefer to group together, ignore members, ignore the gym and talk amongst themselves. Too much money for a dirty gym, broken equipment and disgusting rude staff. Management is rude and owners aren’t present. I’ve been working out at this gym since the opening. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into the layout of this facility and the equipment. No expense spared to bring in the best. Additionally, the equipment and facility is maintained extremely well. The child care is included in the membership which is a big plus. The staff are always very friendly and always make it a point to greet you when you arrive. Majority of the members are very considerate of others and follow good gym etiquette. The machines are always wiped down and the weights always put back in place. The gym can get busy during the prime afternoon hours but the size of the facility makes it tolerable. I always tell my friends if you want to workout at the best gym in Broward, give them a try.

Es un gym muy bueno, la gente que asiste es increible y tienen mucha variedad de maquinas y areas. Por otro lado tienen mucho que mejorar a la hora de uno iniciarse como nuevo miembro, NO te explican que para cancelar la membresía necesitas avisar 1 mes con anticipación porque para cancelar te obligan a cobrar un mes mas por ejemplo decidi cancelar hoy 10 de diciembre y mi membresia me la cobraran hasta finales de enero (puedo seguir usando las intalaciones hasta esa fecha) pero claramente estoy cancelando por motivos de mudanza y no las usare. Por otro lado tampoco te informan de que tienen un anual fee de aproximadamente 150$ a mitad de año. Me parece que en esos aspectos les hace falta transparencia, ya que son preguntas que hice a la hora de inscribirme, resto los empleados son muy agradables y atentos. Dure 2 años + en el gimnasio. Y honestamente la falta de transparencia con los fee y a la hora de venderte la membresia me parece un gran problema ya que su excusa es “eso esta en el contrato” incluso cuando antes de inscribirme hice las preguntas. Moraleja: lean los contratos y no crean en las personas que los atienden porque solo buscan vender la membresia.

Great gym. It has all of your bodybuilding and powerlifting essentials. The equipment here is superb. Love how it's always super clean. The members are mostly very into fitness, respectful and friendly for the most part. The staff is great. They offer small group classes.

The gym does not have extra amenities such a pool, sports, or a full sauna. But that's ok for the trade off of having amazing equipment and everything you need to get in shape at any level.

I’ve been coming here for 6 months now after midnight but my most recent experience sucked. There was a dude there cracked off drugs probably being a nuisance , his clothes all Over the weight floor, running around the gym with no shoes on, bands all over the place, he was controlling the music and had the volume way too high as if Ir were a club. I could even hear it over my noise cancellation headphones set at max volume. Staff dude wasn’t doing anything about the mess at least. Maybe I’m being a Karen, but I like having some structure at a gym so it remains a safe space😐still attending tho 👍🏾at least until the new crunch sunrise opens✨

They know your name and make sure all equipment is spotless and working. If you are someone who takes training seriously, is considerate to other members, and want to improve—this is your gym. I cannot say enough great things about this gym. From the welcoming staff to the state-of-the-art equipment and fantastic members, everything about this place is simply amazing. The level of cleanliness is impressive, and the staff is super friendly, making you feel right at home.

What sets this gym apart from others is the incredible motivation it provides. Each time I walk through the doors, I am inspired to give it my all. And let's not forget the top-notch trainers they have on staff! In particular, I have been working with Alex, who is an absolute gem. I am incredibly disappointed. Not only did they lie about the reviews they had received, but their trainers were incredibly unprofessional. My girlfriend and I were verbally threatened and harassed by one of the trainers, and it was a very unpleasant experience. We will never be returning to this gym, and we urge others to stay away.

Update: I'm so utterly disgusted with this gym, I can't even find the words to describe the experience. My girlfriend and I were harassed and threatened by a trainer, who still works there by the way, and this was never properly investigated or addressed. To make matters worse, our families membership was revoked without warning. The gym staff tried to cover up the situation by lying about racist remarks, which is just another injustice.

The people that own this gym clearly do not care about the safety and comfort of their customers, and I would strongly urge people to stay away from this place. It's an absolute garbage establishment and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I’ve been training at fitness system since November of 2022. It’s an incredible gym with the newest machines and equipments. I have never trained in a gym like this before. It has a separated powerlifting room and a posing room. The staff working at the gym is really cool and they are always friendly. The fact that is 24 hours from Monday to Sunday is awesome.

Best gym in Florida! I was looking for a gym that allows powerlifting. Fitness System has a separate powerlifting room! Kilo plates and deadlifting bar… the best! 5 stars. I think Fitness systems has been an excellent facility to facilitate my growth into fitness and then powerlifting. Being here for more than a year now I can confidently admit how important this gym has been to me from equipment and friendships and i can see the profound effect it has on serious athletes here. Overall a well ran gym and has handled mishaps in the past really well and extremely good if you strictly bodybuild. As athlete that strictly powerlifts, there is tremendous value in the outside equipment for building on accessories. I would love if Fitness systems evaluated investments on more, and competition standard powerlifting equipment. I think inviting a new spectrum of fitness would bring lots of more clientele and not hinder the specificity on elite bodybuilding at all. This could all start with some equipment change that would also create a more serious environment in the powerlifting room where we all know that accidents can happen, and creating a more serious space would decrease these incidents like glass breaking ETC. In the end whatever happens I'm grateful for the space provided, but I would like to acknowledge the potential there is for business and legitimacy by evaluating investments and not be afraid doing so. Thank you fitness systems!

To add on, Fitness Systems has part of their foundation built on two amazing employees, Daniel and Nate who are outstanding to the maintenance and community. Making others feel accepted and attending to all needs no matter what. They definitely deserve their honor and notability. Bellow one star! HIDDEN CANCELATION FEE!!! I stop coming 4 months ago, however still paying. God forbit you want to cancel the membership ...like I just did. They will charge you an extra month the same day you cancel, even if you will not be going no more and no matter if they took the montly fee already, and if I waited till the 1st "manager" Stephanie said it was my time to pay the year fee!!! Wow....I asked for the owner and she said he only goes to the gym to work out...not for business... REALLY!? SO HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY HOWEVER WONT FACE AN ISSUE WHEN NEED IT?! WORSE GYM C.S EVER!! My rating is a 4.5, rounded up to 5.

Top notch gym, they are open 24 hrs a day M-F, but on Sat and Sun they close at 8PM. There are a couple gyms in the area that stay open 24/7, but they are not of this caliber. I usually work out late at night and this one is by far the best in the area.

The majority of the equipment is relatively new or top quality. The "Panatta" Italian equipment is not something you see in other gyms, and is great for those who like to take a break from the free weights. The staff is also friendly and do a great job to keep the place clean.

A couple suggestions for improvement:

The leg machines (hip adductor, hip abductor, and glute machine) at the southeast part of the gym (close to the locker rooms) is a bit older and of entry level quality. This affects more of the female crowd but I would like to see this area match the level of quality see you on the other side of the gym (west side).

The cardio equipment is pretty good, nice line up of Stairmasters and treadmills. I would like to see a couple more elliptical machines, perhaps from a different manufacturer. There are only a handful of ellipticals and there is plenty of space for more.

This is undeniably the best gym you can go to if your are serious about attaining your fitness goals. The culture here is unlike any other. With over 25,000 sq ft and the largest weight floor in South Florida, Fitness System Sawgrass also offers free child care, free classes, an infrared sauna, a power lifting room and a posing room. The variation is out of this world. From Panata to Atlantis to Hammer Strength and many more the machines are some of the best you could ever use. Gym is kept in great condition and is much cleaner than any other gym you'll visit. All the personal trainers are certified and incredibly friendly. The staff is outgoing. The management is amazing and they take their roles incredibly seriously as they make sure this gym is the best it can be for the members. Open 24 hours through out the week too!
