Working out at the gym has been an incredibly positive experience for me. The facility is always clean, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful to every person. I appreciate the variety of equipment available, catering to all fitness levels and interests. The atmosphere is motivating, creating a space where I feel comfortable pursuing my goals. Tony has a great gym and atmosphere! And his trainer Jason knows his stuff! I’m a big guy and Jason is the first one to do training that felt right for my body type. Not easy but I’m not in pain or straining things that are not ready. Thanks to Tony for the gym and Jason for a great workout!

This is an old school bodybuilding gym! Clean, equipped with the best machines, great staff, convenient location with great parking. We drive in from Jacksonville to get a workout. Definitely worth the drive. Thanks Tony for your hospitality! We will be back soon!! Looking forward to Prep 2025!

Took a day trip out to Lake City from Gainesville with some friends & it was totally worth it. Great old school feel with some top notch equipment. The gym also has an outdoor section which is always cool to see! Will definitely be back.

Really was the best gym in town and is really one of the great places in lake city, I love the gym here but the new location just doesn't allow the space he had before and a lot of stuff had to be stored, it sucks but it's not the owners fault. The land owner of the old location really did the gym a huge injustice. The gym owner did worlds to salvage everything he could and is constantly trying to get it back up to it's old standards that was likely one of the best gyms in the nation.

This has to be the filthiest gym I've ever seen and rusty old outdated backyard equipment. Not worth the membership price. Faulty cardio equipment. Missing a lot of machines for bodybuilding. No punching bag either. Owner who looks like zz top came and harassed us because I brought in a guest after we both scanned our cards so obviously they are a member. He charges up asking "if we are good, and are they member"? I felt embarassed. His eyes were very red too. He interrupted me a few times on a few machines asking me how was it before I could even get a set in.
This is definably the meat head of the meat head gyms. Usually the owner was nice and personable until that moment. Every time I go there he goes around to talk to people but it can be distracting if you just want to be left alone. I felt like I was in the guy's house. Very intimidating environment at all times with other members. The place also allows little kids in the morning on their phones sitting on equipment? No showers or stretching area!!!! Too many dumbbell stations and the exact same chest machines.
The gym is also tiny and crammed. Almost claustrophobic.
I have to squeeze by machines and people. It does this loop around a long wall that's kind of aukward. I can't even get to the treadmills except for one opening I have to squeeze by. Which some are faulty to quick start, but there is a decent selection of cardio machines.
Again no open floor area to stretch or do floor exercises. As I said no shower either or a decent size locker room..it's a bathroom with lockers on one side.
Depending on when you go you'll get mostly sweaty guys in there slamming weights and grunting and eyeballing each other. You can smell the testosterone in the air which is fine, but it's a little silly. When I first walked in to sign up a bunch of dudes stared at me like caged animals. This was around 5pm.
There's different vibes if you go in the morning or evening. After hours there's no staff or music and they turn off the AC. It's quiet and honestly I only like going if there's staff there. Honestly I am not sure why it's called. "fitness" and not gym.

There is a outdoor 2nd gym area and gymnastics bars area. No contract. No cancelation fees but this place is not for me.

I am a new comer, Love this Gym I Went to Planet fitness for six months they promote judgement free zone which is full life. but future fitness is amazing worth the price Tony and Blake are awesome guy's , I feel like i'm at a serious Gym not a two bit fitness club.

Nice friendly crowd, and a place where you can actually push yourself without the staff telling you that you are not allowed to be loud.
There are a wide variety of equipment you can use, and also a cornhole game you can play(oddly enough)! They also have a section in the back up stairs for boxing/MMA
They have a wide variety of trainers available from strength trainers, to boxing coaches, to MMA personal trainers. Just ask at the front desk for a list of their serviceses.
They are open from 0500-2100, so the hours are great for people that have work as well.
This place is definitely worth a try, and they will work with you to accomidate your schedule without breaking your wallet.
This is the best gym environment you will find in lake city.

Future Fitness is a great local gym. I felt totally comfortable going in as a small lifter trying to improve my lifts and see gains. They have all of the machines I need, and no one is judgmental. I've found that people are really good about putting the weights back on the rack when finished with their sets, and no one minds you working in on a machine if you need it. Can't recommend this gym enough.

Came through on an out of town visit for a day. Very friendly and a wide range of equipment for being in a smaller store. Squat racks and free weights not just cardio and machines. The staff was so friendly I felt compelled to say something. The weights and equipment are definitely older, but the place is clean.
