Ground Up Training LLC is where strength, confidence, and mobility are built from the ground up. I’m Coach Roxy, a certified personal trainer and ATG coach, and I specialize in helping clients improve mobility, build strength, and train pain-free. As a mobile trainer, I come to your home, and if you don’t have a gym, you can also meet me at Edge Fitness. I customize every workout to meet you at your level—whether you’re recovering from injury, looking to tone, or ready to take your training further. With energy, encouragement, and expert coaching, I make fitness more than just exercise—it’s about building lasting results and confidence inside and outside the gym.

Coach Roxy is awesome!! She helped me get back into running and working out after suffering an upper back injury. I was very scared to get back into running and weightlifting again due to the pain I had during my recovery. I met with Roxy for 6 weeks after completing my physical therapy and she helped motivate me and bring my confidence back to work out again. She went over proper lifting techniques as well as exercises to strengthen my entire back. She also researched special exercises for me to do as a runner. I appreciate her so much! If Google would allow me to give a 10 star rating I would! Training with Roxy has been life changing for me! I have 2 herniated discs she has helped keep my core strong enough that I don’t need surgery. She also helped me workout through my pregnancy up until 2 days before I delivered! She is always changing up exercises and moves and not shy to try something different when one thing isn’t working! I never know what to expect which keeps working out interesting and fun! After personal training with Roxy for 5 months now I’ve seen such a change in my body. Roxy is one of the best trainers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I was in her group classes for over a year and I not only felt challenged, but a sense of community with my fellow classmates. I really am enjoying the new gym. The owner Jennifer is amazing and I go to the Tuesday and Thursday classes with Roxy. She keeps the workouts flowing and you get a full body workout each time. I have also used Roxy for personal training and she is amazing! She pushes you even when you don’t want to be pushed. But it’s all good! She knows what each person needs and she helps you with that.

Roxy has been my trainer for over a year. She truly takes the time to plan out each private training to help me hit my goals but also keeps it interesting by changing up the programming. She pushes me weekly to challenge myself. In addition to the private sessions, I attend group classes which help change break up my regular programming. The classes are challenging for all levels so I can still push myself but have different option on weights / style if needed.
