I have been training at Gulfshore Fitness for a few months now. I’m 64 and really didn’t want the feel of a big gym. I train weekly with Sunni. My work out is personalized for the issues I wanted to address. She listens to my concerns and we address them together. I look forward to my work out every week. The vibe is comfortable and warm.

I’ve been working out at Gulfshore Fitness for over a year now, and I truly can’t say enough great things about this place. The environment is welcoming, clean, and motivating, and the trainers are absolutely top-notch—especially David and Sunni, who I’ve had the privilege of working with regularly.
Both David and Sunni have done wonders for not just my body, but my mind. Their guidance, encouragement, and deep knowledge have helped me build confidence and consistency in my fitness journey.
Sunni in particular, has been incredible in helping me understand how my body works. She takes the time to teach proper form and the fundamentals behind strength training, which has laid a solid foundation for me to lift heavier weights safely and effectively. Her programming is always thoughtful, personalized, and tuned in to exactly what I need.
Sunni also leads a Saturday group class that is one of the highlights of my week—it’s upbeat, fun, and always a great workout. She finds a way to make the group setting feel personal, giving each of us individual attention and making sure we’re doing the exercises correctly. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her clients and wants them to succeed.
If you’re looking for a place with expert trainers, a supportive atmosphere, and real results—Gulfshore Fitness is it. I can’t recommend Sunni and David enough!

I was looking for a personal trainer in bonita springs and found gulfshore fitness on google, close to my friend's home. The concept immediately appealed to me and I was not disappointed.
Sunni was my personal trainer for 1 month, 3 times a week for 1 hour.
She was super responsive to me and my sensitivities (impingement syndrome a few years ago/tennis elbow at the moment), always observed my body's reactions very closely during the exercises, gave feedback and always explained every excercise very clearly. She is highly motivating, good-humored, respectful, encouraging and challenging.
Every lesson was tailored precisely to me and my feedback on sore muscles or other effects of the previous training session. I didn't know beforehand how varied training and how much fun it can be.
Unfortunately I have to go back to Germany. I hope to find a trainer there who is just as good as Sunni and a gym with just as pleasant an atmosphere .... that won't be easy.

I can’t recommend the team at Gulfshore Fitness enough! I started training with Dave in November 2022, and soon after began to work with April as well. The atmosphere is very friendly, and the trainers encourage you to do your best. Very quickly I switched focus from weight loss to strength and flexibility as these are the long term gains I need to sustain a healthy lifestyle. I’m in my late 40’s and this is the best I’ve felt in YEARS! It's easy to stay motivated with this team! I look forward to every session!

My wife and I have done a couples class 3 days a week for about 14 months. Dave is great at combining resistance, aerobic, and flexibity training. He is incredibly supportive and positive. Cognizant of any limitations we have and tailors excercises and stretches to suit. As we are in our late 60's that is very important. He has a very educational apporach, explaining the whys of each excercise. We mostly go to the gym but have done a few zoom sessions, both are very fullfilling. Highly recommend Dave and his team.

I have the pleasure of working with April Lauber, a personal trainer who is not only knowledgeable and skilled but also incredibly encouraging and kind. Her positive attitude and immense support have made every session worth it.
As soon as I submitted an inquiry, April reached out. She recognized my hesitations and concerns from the start and has been with me every step of the way to grow more comfortable. April has a rare ability to make you feel capable and confident. What sets April apart is her genuine kindness, understanding and motivation. She not only pushes me to exceed my fitness goals but does it with empathy and a genuine desire to watch me succeed.
April is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, yet she never makes me feel like I am inferior. April is very organized and you can tell very quickly she is passionate about her job.
She creates a customized workout plan catered towards your fitness goals. I have little experience, and she has helped me so much already. Every time I train with April I don’t feel pressured or stressed, I feel so excited to learn and be in her positive motivating presence. She acts way more than a trainer. She acts as a mentor and friend. I am so grateful for her kind words and support.
I chose to train at Gulfshore Fitness in hopes that I would gain motivation. I have had so much doubt over the past years with working out and gym atmospheres. Gulfshore has a warm and inclusive atmosphere, that is not at all intimidating. The set-up, trainers, and overall environment are very welcoming. It was the first time I truly felt comfortable in a fitness setting.
If you are hesitant or scared, I fully recommend speaking to and working with April or any of the trainers at Gulfshore. Once again, April has helped me overcome my initial discomfort in the gym with compassion and patience. If you're looking for gym that offers trainers who bring both expertise and a motivation to your fitness journey, I wholeheartedly recommend them!!!

April has been WONDERFUL to work with. I live in a remote area and don't have a gym nearby. My friend in Florida recommended Gulfshore Fitness and said they have remote training!! OMG!!! Gamechanger!!!!!! We meet twice a week via Zoom and I get GREAT one on one training!!!! Totally not available to me where I live. LOL - now you can't use the "I don't have a gym near me" excuse for not changing your life!!!!! Try it!! You'll Love it!!!!

From day one, Dave has been nothing short of an amazing Personal Trainer. I have been working out with Dave via a zoom class for the past 7 months. Dave sends out info on each class the beginning of the week with videos explaining each exercise with equipment needs and modifications depending on each person's level/strength. During the class Dave goes over each exercise with the modifications and makes suggestions, especially if he sees me struggling. He is always very encouraging and positive with the workouts. My strength and mobility is better than it has been in years - FYI I am 70 yrs old with some back issues.

One of the best personal training facilities in southwest florida! Dave is amazing. As a physician, research and having an evidence based approach is very important for me. Dave always knows the research behind the workouts. He also makes it fun which helps me remain consistent with my workouts. There is also no gym membership fees which is great. The studio is brand new and super clean.
