Is this place even open? Went by 4 different times on my way to Publix. Doors locked, windows tinted, and no one opens the door. Hard to get a membership when no one opens the door.

Called multiple times during staffed hours for 3 day free trial membership…no response. Terrible customer service. Hours on google say they are staffed until 3pm on Saturday, so I drove there around 1:30 and the doors were locked. I come to find out that they actually close at 1pm on Saturdays, which is not what Google says on their page. Drove 25 minutes each way for nothing. If you’re going to run a business, make sure the information you provide online is accurate and not a bunch of bogus. When you search up HiTone Fitness, the first thing you see is false hours. Bogus place, don’t go here.

This place is trash. Moved to Nocatee the beginning of this year and made the massive mistake of giving this rundown, ill-equipped, and rebranded Anytime fitness a chance. And that’s no slight to Anytime fitness as comparing the 2 would be wildly too complimentary of this dump. Ironically, I once frequented Hitone’s Lake City location and the contrast only clarified the exploitation of St Augustine residents. The equipment is gross and falling apart. Every pad on every machine is wobbly. The mia staff and management only depress this horrible excuse for a gym from a 1 star to what should be less.

Enjoyed this gym when I first signed up, they got rid of the equipment that I enjoyed. I’ve been by on a couple of occasions and have tried call several times to cancel my membership. I’m writing this as I sit at the front desk for almost 30 minutes during the staffed hours and no employees are here. 10/10 would not recommend.

Worst gym I have ever been a member at, the men's room is disgusting and rarely has toilet paper available, guess we need to bring our own. The tanning bed has been in parts for months and has never worked. They replaced the hydro massage chairs with some janky worthless recliner that nobody uses, that I've seen. Its time a real gym opened in the area!!

When I called to cancel, the person at the desk told me they had canceled my account. turns out they did not, could not, out-right lied.

Additionally I don't like that they charge a yearly fee. They say it's to buy new equipment. People will dream up any reason to hide additional profit in fee's and other charges to make their service appear less expensive.

Such behaviors should be condemned fully.

Canceling is not that difficult but there are more steps to go through than signing up and that is not something that should be acceptable.

We’ve really enjoyed the past couple months at HiTONE @ Palencia. The club director, Blake, is very professional yet personable and he’s an effective trainer. The facility has all the equipment you need, plus extras like a red light therapy room, a biocharger, and a sauna. Though I hadn’t worked out in years prior- I’ve felt comfortable here getting back into it. Highly recommend!

HiTONE Fitness is one of the best gyms that I’ve ever been to. The staff is friendly and professional. The gym is never too crowded and it’s always clean. I spoke to a manager about increasing my membership without letting me know. I was paying 58$ then all sudden they started charging me 78,82$ He told from now on that the price with classes which I never use. They charge for classes either you use them or not. I brought to this fitness at least 9 people. I never experienced someone been so cold and don’t care of losing members, his answer was I walk you through the app how to cancel membership. Wow

This place may be the best gym I’ve seen. I’ve had gym memberships all over the world, but man this place has it all. After my grand tour with Kyle, I knew I didn’t need to look at any other gyms around town. He answered every question I had about the gym and since I was new to town, he told me good places to eat all the fun stuff to do and the whole time he’s giving me the top-tier experience, he’s chopping it up with the regulars as they come through the door. You know it’s a good sign when everyone walks in, looks at your dude and starts smiling. I really appreciate the quality of the equipment in this place. It has everything from dumbbells to all that hi tech fancy stuff you read about that cures cancer and turns you into Superman.

I have read lots of bad reviews on Hi Tone and decided to give it a try as it was covered by my health insurance. My personal experience was a good one and I dealt with Rosy who was super courteous and helpful in getting me all signed up, to include the app. She even went above and beyond and gave me a personal tour of all the equipment and specialized therapies they provide. I’ve been working out at the gym for 2 weeks now at 5:30am and I absolutely love it! The gym isn’t crowded at all and the people are so friendly and kind.

Only giving 4 stars due to the monthly fee. 39$ and 59$ because, Sheesh. Other than that, the place seemed very clean and sanitary. The lady who greeted me seemed sweet. Gave me a tour of the place. Lot of people complaining about teens but I suppose they only show up after dark because there wasn't any around 3 in the afternoon. It's very open so you won't get much privacy if you're feeling self conscious. The massage beds are nice as well as the other extra amenities. Mostly everything is included in the 39$ package besides personal trainers. So, all in all a great gym.

i’ve been seeing all the recent comments about the teens and i don’t appreciate that i’m a fellow teenager and i pay my fees and i clean up after my self and i was told i was aloud to bring one guest which i’ve been doing and last night the manger was completely disrespectful called me a lier saying none of her staff told me i can bring a guest which i was told and how she will call the cops this is very unprofessional and she was so very rude it was a adult she would of never handled the situation like this

I'm not typically one to leave reviews, however I feel like people should know before joining this gym if you're planning on going after work night shifts, look at another gym. I use to go after work around 10pm-12am and it was fine but slowly more and more teenagers started coming and at first it was fine but now every night they come and act like it's a party, playing loud music on a speaker, running around playing with their shirts off vaping, and not wiping equipment after use.
